In and out under 10 minutes. Place down the st tried charging me $70 only because I drive a Benz. They charged $50. Loved them!

You dont pass smog if your check engine light is on. I did not know this. My fault there. However, they performed the test even though they knew it would fail. You can see if the check engine light is on before testing. The polite thing to do would have been to let me know up front that I would fail. Not only that, but they were EXTREMELY rude and downright mean about it. They had no answer when I asked why they went through with the test even though they knew it would fail. This is a shady operation with no regard to the customer. Avoid this place and tell your friends to avoid it too.

My late husband said never go here for a smog check! He was a wholesale car dealer & mechanic. Great gas prices however...best in neighborhood.

Similar experience as others. I wish Id checked the reviews first. I explained that I had some recent work done to the smog system on my Volvo. I took the car to my usual local smog guy to get it tested, he hooked it up and told me there were sensors that needed to be re-set before it would pass. I needed to drive it around for about 200 miles before they would be ready to test. I drive it for 250 miles, then took it back. My guy happened to be closed for some reason, so I found this Bergamont Station Arco on the Internet. I took it to him, and explained the situation. Rather than check the sensors, and tell me that there were still 2 sensors that hadnt re-set yet, he went ahead and ran the test, knowing I would fail, and billed me. When I complained, he looked at me and said, You told me to run the test?, as if he didnt know he was ripping me off. My advice, Dont Go Here!

Expensive ($61), they arrive late and not open at 8am and to top it all off they’re rude! I would avoid this place...

Dont recommend. This guy might rip you off even when he knows that your car is not able to pass smog check.

During my smog check, I chalked up their rudeness to the fact that they were doing these checks like an assembly line and were just eager to get me out of there. Then they kept my recall proof of correction certificate, insisting that I didnt need it anymore. Sure enough, weeks later I get a letter stating that the DMV denied my registration because I didnt provide my correction certificate when I mailed in the registration form. When I called ARCO to return the certificate, first he denied that they would do that, then the guy kept saying theres nothing he could do for me and that he was sorry but he doesnt keep track of paperwork. Its concerning that they dont keep track of work theyve done less than a month ago. And once again, it seemed he was more concerned with getting me off the phone then actually helping me with a problem they caused. Theres a reason why its so cheap here.

There are cheaper places around, but they do what they do - smog check your car. Thats it.
