Best nail place in Santa Fe so far. I’ve gone to 3 different nail places since moving to Santa Fe 6 months ago. Someone recommended Ocean Nails and this is my third powder set with them. Definitely not going to keep looking, found my place. They are great and I’ve been happy with results so far.

Very unhappy with my nails at this place!! They look very bulky and unprofessional. Took to much time for such poor quality.

Made an appointment for 12:30. Arrived on time and was immediately seen. Had a Polish change on toes while soaking off acrylic on hands. Requested a French with dip powder. Kim was very good and I was finished by 1:30! Very quick and did a great job. I am from out of town and really was hoping for a good job and thats what I got. When i am in Santa Fe again I will not hesitate to call Ocean for an appointment! Thanks !!!

I dont think I have to specify what nails I asked for, its really obvious. There are no words that can describe how upset I feel. If you cannot perform what I asked for as a client, simply say that I can go somewhere else. Keep the money I paid and please use it for training purposes because it clearly shows you need it. If not, maybe glasses.

Loved it! Didn’t take long and they came out beautifully. I believe Kenny was my nail artist, ask for him next time I’m very much pleased!🥳

I took my 15 year old daughter here for her first ever full set of nails. They expected her to have a picture and know the whole routine, which she didn’t. They showed no patience and we’re not helpful in any way. The worst part was their work product. The woman was so rushed that a couple nails were glued on crooked. She also cut my daughter’s skin with the power tool (?) which did result in bleeding. My daughter asked for a crystal and the woman just grabbed one and didn’t ask if it was the one she wanted (which it wasn’t). Then the woman got glue all over her nail when applying the crystal which ruined the polish. The bottom line: They take no pride in their work. The priority is speed and turning over customers. Problem is, if you do quality work you will make more money with returning customers than having to constantly acquire more first time victims.

They’re very clean, I personally saw them sanitize the whole salon after a walk in mentioned their friend wasn’t feeling well. They have family values, they rather do the job right and they’re also pretty fast but better than any other salon ive tried. In OTHER places I would get burns and the massage wouldn’t feel good. But after trying around in santa fe I really keep coming back, I love the work, the timing and the result is high quality products. I recommend calling ahead of time:)

My daughter and I had a full set done today... we are so happy with the results. the gentleman did mine the pink ombré with silver glitter on ring finger..coffin shape .. I showed him a pic and he did it exactly like the picture and my daughter did her nails with Mimi she got the almond shape ... green color... love our nails.. will definitely go back 😊 and the price was right👍

Ive been getting my nails done for many years. Ive been to alot of different salons here in Santa Fe. This is the best salon. The prices are great and my nails are always better than what I expect. My nails never chip or break and last 3-4 weeks before refilling. Ive done both dips and acrylic on my natural nails. Kenny always knows the new trends and styles. Ive had him do so many different styles, lengths and shapes. My nails are always gorgeous.

I come multiple times a month for dip nails. First of all, you can tell a lot of these reviews are not accurate as they give incorrect names, so take that as you will? That said, having been a client in pre-covid and covid era I can attest to their utmost cleanliness which has been above and beyond that mandated by the state. They run a really tight ship and they are as accommodating as possible, including fixing mistakes or squeezing you in for a repair when youve had your own mishap after leaving. I dont agree with many other reviews, I always leave happy and grateful that Im able to finally grow out my nails!!

I went there today looking for a new nail tech and my nails came out amazing great shape and the person who did them was amazing she was kind and made sure I liked them! They were very clean and followed very safe covid practices I would definitely recommend and I will be going back!

Best nail salon in Santa Fe! I’ve lived here for 8 years and I’ve tried so many nail spas this is by far my favorite! They run a very clean business I don’t fear that I’ll get fungus in my toenails like I have at other spas. Everyone that works there are always very friendly and happy to see you! Love the powder dip nails last like 3 weeks and I can grow nails and not crack or chip anymore. Highly recommend if your looking for great nails! I know they offer other services as well I just haven’t gotten around to trying them.

I alway get powder/dip nails. I work at a demanding job and need tough nails to last more than a week. My nails ALWAYS last 3-4 weeks and rarely chip/crack. Plus they look beautiful too. I live 45 minutes away and drive here to get my nails done. Highly recommended.

Honestly really disappointed. I’ve been going here for years but they did an absolute sloppy job. I called to make an apt for 10:30 but wasn’t actually noticed until 11:45. Then refused what I wanted even though I was willing to pay for it. They didnt fill any of my toes, the paint was everywhere(gel), chipped, uneven, extremely rushed, then charged 43$. I am very unhappy with my toes. I expected more but I guess that wasn’t happening. I called to make a complain and asked for it to be fixed but was also refused. will definitely not be going back here sadly.

I had a wonderful experience at Ocean Bail & Spa. I got my first Pedi and it was heaven. My Manicure came out beautiful. It looks like my own nails!

I came in last minute to get my nails done with my best friend this past weekend for new years and had one of the best services. I was hesitant at first due to the ongoing pandemic but I needed a pick me up to start the new year. I got a full set done and a pedicure. They were very careful while doing my nails. My friend had just gotten a regular mani-pedi. I was referred to try this place out from another friend and I wasnt disappointed. I absolutely love my nails and the pedicure was amazing as well. Ive been to a few places and this has some pretty reasonable prices. Definitely will be returning again.

Love it! The nail tech really took her time and they looked great. Communication was great, she made sure I understood what was going on before she did anything. I would definitely recommend.

March 12th 2021 not worth the money. employees are rude. especially the older male. when i accidentally smudged my nail polish under the UV light he raised his voice at me & started handling my fingers very rough after that; obviously trying to be rude. i picked a hot pink color& he did red & refused to fix it. they also don’t ask if you prefer standard or dip method for acrylic nails. they all just do dip without asking.

Kim is amazing! Kim’s willing to take me in same day! She does a beautiful job.

The lady that did my nails was awful. She told me that I HAD to do gel. She also tried to tell me how long I needed to have my nails. She also got mad when I told her that I wanted them pointed. She put my pointer nail on crooked. This set of nails is awful. Never again!

My go to when Im in NM! The place is always clean and the staff is always welcoming and professional. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends if they ever go to NM and want nails done.

I hate this place poor service and poor quality. I had to correct the Chinese lady multiple times because she wasn’t doing what I asked for. The procedure they use is very different my nails looked very bad. I wasn’t asking for something hard it was just white and two nails with glitter. She even said my nails were going to break.FYI her name is Kim.

Mimi and Kenny are the absolute best! My sister and I go in every couple of week to get our nails done and they always take great care of us. The staff are professional and absolutely wonderful nail technicians. The salon has amazing colors to choose from as well that never disappoint. I never used to keep my nails done because it was so hard to find good places to get them done, but we’ve been going to Ocean for months now!Pro tip: always call ahead to make an appointment! These folks are always busy because they’re one of the best spots in town! If you walk in, you might be waiting, but if you have an appointment they’ll take care of you quickly, professionally, and you’ll be getting compliments on your nails for weeks!

HIGHEST RATING! The CLEANEST nail salon in Santa Fe. Everything is spotless and sanitized. This is the most important thing to me. Most salons are gross! So happy to have found them when they first opened. Mimi and Kenny are talented professionals and also very kind people. Best place to go for powder nails. Mimi and Kenny are professional and attentive to detail. Never had a bad experience! Usually very busy so it’s best to call ahead for an appointment.

I’ve been going here for over a year, I’ve tried many other nails salons in Santa Fe and ocean nails and serenity nails are both lovely. Kenny and his wife at ocean nails always do such a wonderful job of being thorough! They do not cut corners which is why you may be here a little longer then other salons. But, it’s totally worth it! Not to mention their salon is SO clean! They truly care about the health of their client’s nails and doing the best job they can. Highly recommend them!

The woman who did my nails was really unkind. When I paid for my service as well as my moms I tried to leave a tip for her as well as the other nail tech..... she basically had an argument with me about the tip. We were leaving the other nail tech $20 because he did a manicure and a pedicure and she did only a pedicure so I was going to tip her $10. It was the strangest experience and it seems like the woman really hates her job...... I didnt have it in me to continue to argue with her about why we were leaving the other tech $20 and not her. So weird.

Very clean, great massage chairs, ambience music and profession staff. I have gone to many of the nail salons in Santa Fe over the years and comparing them all I would say this one is top notch!

I’ve never been more impressed with a pedicure in Santa Fe. The pedicure basin had a plastic liner that was changed in between clients. The basin itself was sanitized with Clorox before placing a new liner and the tools they used on me came out in a medical grade sterilized bag. The young girl that did my pedicure was professional and she did a wonderful job.

I go here regularly for about a year now since I’ve moved to Santa Fe to do my fills and new sets on my nails, plus my pedicures. They doA wonderful job and the atmosphere is very friendly. The shop is clean and I have never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a full set, gel set or regular polish set.

This was my very first time coming here (recommend to make an appointment) the service was really nice.. I usually go to CA nails which I still do.. this place was sparkling clean soooo sooo clean. The guy that did my nails did them perfect so perfect I will be coming back!

Came here with my sister-in-law for her wedding. They fit 3 of us in before opening, but I felt the service was rushed and one of my big toes has been swollen and red since the service. The nail was cut in such a way I suspect I may have developed an infection! The last thing people need is to pay to get your nails done and end up with a doctor bill. My gel polish hasnt lasted a week. My sister-in-law left with wonderful acrylic nails, but I almost wish I didnt get anything done. My group provided a decent bit of money for the salon, and we all felt like we werent welcome. We were actually scolded a few times.Sadly wont return.

Everyone here is very nice and sweet. The place is clean and they have new toolsI am a bartender and can never have my nails done more than 3 days. Doesnt matter if it is gel. But the dip is the best thing in the world it last so long and I have never seen my nails so long in my life. They have the cheapest price for dip in town. Great place I can go on and on.

Customer service is very pleasant. The quality of their work is magnificent. The employees here are very friendly, and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone to come here if they really want good quality nails.

Let me start off that I had the best shaping and gel my nails have had. I had the most compliments and my hands looked amazing. I had only gotten a fill there and a week after I got the fill I unfortunately had to take off my nails to begin my physical training for a competition, when I had them taken off I had mounds of fungus on four of my nails. It was horrific. I would say that it was because the nail separated from the acrylic but only after one week fungus should not have grown that quickly. Also the woman screamed at me during my appointment and wasnt very friendly.

I absolutely love Ocean Nails! I have a standing appointment every 2 weeks and it is such a pleasure to be greated by name and with a smile when I walk in. Mimi does a wonderful job and is always so patient with me even when I am indecisive. She knows my quirks and is always a step ahead of me to make sure I love my nails. I wont go anywhere else and always recommend them to any and everyone. They are worth the trip to the Southside of Santa Fe.

Been many times! The main guy does the best stilettos Ive ever seen!! Highly recommended!!!

I called several days ahead and made an appointment. When I arrived there were three walk-ins waiting. All three were taken back before me resulting in a 45 minute wait. I do not consider that appropriate with an appointment. The nail tech took 1 hour and 45 minutes to do my acrylic nails, again unacceptable. Once home I noticed several nails are crooked and the acrylic fill was lumpy. Today is 8 days later and several acrylics are lifting away from my natural nails and one of them has turned gray underneath almost like a bruise. Thats never happened before. While I was there another customer complained about the quality of her acrylics and the tech told her he didnt see a problem. She left very disappointed as did I. I would never recommend.

Ocean nails is the only place I would ever go or ever recommend. Mimi and all the other staff have been great from the beginning. I never leave disappointed.

When I told her there was bumps on my nails she told me she couldnt see it, when I told her one of my nails was crooked she had the audacity to say it was my finger! Very rude as well, I dont recommend this place at all.

If I could give them a rate zero I would. First off I had an appointment and had to wait 20 minuets with my feet in cold water. A young girl started on my feet and didn’t look like she knew how to do anything. Older women started to reclean my nails and cut most of my toes and did my polish decent. When I was getting my manicure the man was doing everything half ass I was done in almost 10 minuets. After paying my nails we’re bumpy, crooked and not polished right. I wasn’t to familiar with Santa Fe’s nail places and was just looking for best ratings and this one was the best. I get my nails done in Albuquerque and would travel from Las Vegas NM to Albuquerque any day then to have my nails looking the way they are. I don’t recommend this place to nobody!!!

My experience here was terrible, my appointment was at 1230, the lady that was working on my nails up and left in the middle of the job to do someone elses nails that came in after me, 1 oclock appointments are being seen before me. They have kids who are not old enough to be working doing nails. My nails look crappy for the amount of money i paid. I am very disappointed in the service, i came in to get my nails done for my wedding

Horrible serviceMade an appointment still made me wait, not enough personnel. Just a bad experience overall. Had my niece sitting in a chair next to me and one of the girls working there just grabbed her and moved her to a different chair because she was in her way. Ended up leaving the place.

My last visit at ocean nails will be my last visit. The deliberate, unwarranted, extreme rudeness of both owners was disturbing. If you have not witnessed it or experience it you will.

The nails arent the shape I wanted them horrible sloppy work one of my nails broke literally after getting them this place is ridiculous the techs name was kenny just horrible attention to what the customer wants!
