Paid $75 for a gel manicure and pedicure just for it to start chipping away TWO days later. The lady that did them was rude and in a bad mood after arguing with another customer she said maybe four words to me the whole time I was there. The place is also a mess and needs a good cleaning.

I received a gel manicure and pedicure, the gel for the pedicure was already coming off after leaving. And the gel for the manicure is very patchy. I don’t recommend getting gel, at all. I would’ve been better off just doing it myself. Plus I was overcharged, the gel manicure was $27 and gel pedicure was $37. So was supposed to come out to $64. But I ended paying about $70, and the lady checking me out didn’t give me my change $10 change. I gave her $80, but let her have it as a “tip”. Not really worth it.

I got a full set done in Albuquerque for a modeling shoot, which I loved. I then went home to Santa Fe and a few weeks later got the dip. Not only did it crack within a week, I also got an infection. Do no go here. Ive been getting my nails done most of my adult life and Ive never gotten an infection.

My daughter and I both got a pedicure and full set which came out beautiful but the pricing did not make sense. I have never paid a $170 for 2 people! When I ask about the pricing I was given some big long explanation about how I was getting a deal for the both of us but nothing still added up...

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waited for over an hour for the appointment which was fine. But then I was blatantly ignored when I walked back in. They refuse to even acknowledge or answer any questions about services so it’s all guess work. Just a frustrating and awkward experience. Go somewhere else if you can I won’t be going back.

I received a pedicure, I had difficult speaking to the lady who did my pedicure. She didnt speak English. Another lady was observering and took over finishing my pedicure. Thank goodness, she did a better pedicure. Prices for their services was fair. I didnt have a appointment, walk-in. However I notice that the basin well were not changed after each use. They use plastic liners that are disposable after each use, but it wasnt done while I was there. I hope they sanitize their emplements after each use. It was the end of their day. So I hope they did. What I didnt like that dogs were allowed in the shop. I was there to relax, but I got tensed up with the dogs in the area of the foot basins. Im not sure about going back.

Were busy and rushed job nails painted 3/4 of the way down. Wont go back

If you make an appointment it does not matter. You will wait just like a walk in. Also, they shave your nails down so badly they chip within 24 hours. Don’t do the gel nails ever. Go somewhere else !

It’s nice looking enough but that’s where the good news ends. They were busy but the woman doing my mani/pedi was so put out is was as if I had invaded her living room on a Sunday afternoon not a place a business.The manicure was basically a polish change after leaving me soaking in acetone for over 20 min. The pedicure was bit better but still rushed and subpar. After a two hour lack luster experience, I didn’t see them clean one tool. They grabbed from each other’s station and used it on the next person. Remnants were all over the floor and clients walked around barefoot.Won’t be back even if I had a gift certificate.

I’ve gotten my nails done a lot of places, & this is a GREAT place to go! It’s my go to place. Reasonably priced. Mimi is EXCELLENT & highly experienced. Clean shop, nice employees, all in all my favorite place & would highly recommend going to.

There may be some qualified nail technicians there, but that was not my experience. The woman who did my pedicure appeared to be the manager or owner (she was taking the money and seemed in charge). The place was busy. After my feet had soaked, she asked me if I wanted my toenails shorter. I said yes, it had been awhile, and I showed her where I had broken a nail. I guess I should have said a little shorter because she proceeded to cut them all very, very short, very quickly and not terribly even. Then, she polished in a hurry (not a great job) and proceeded to immediately put my feet in my sandals. I said, already?! and sure enough, the sandals rubbed against my little toe on both feet. She said, I can fix it later. Then she had me move to another technicians area for my manicure. That woman was better, but marginally. The place was not as hygienic as I would have liked either. I like when items are either pulled out of a cleaning solution before being used, or unwrapped after being professionally cleaned and then only used once. That didnt seem to be the case here. Also, they line the foot baths with plastic, and when I was done soaking my feet, the woman took out the plastic and put it in her cubby drawer. Later, she pulled the plastic out of that same drawer and put it back in the same foot well. To be fair, I guess it could have been a new piece of plastic, but it didnt look like it. Overall, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I have gone to the salon for over year, and have had mostly positive experiences. I received a gel manicure and pedicure here, and four of the six experiences were favorable. I find most of the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. The Prices are reasonable. I enjoy the results when I get an eyebrow wax. Mimi has been outstanding!

Very poor service! The lady who did my nails was very good for the first ten minutes. Than began to rush my refill set. She did a sloppy job while painting my nails, did not file them evenly, unevenly painted and etc. This was my first time here because I had gotten a good recommendation, but I will definitely not return.

Clean, sort-of-new, friendly, and skilled. The salon was pretty busy when I arrived Sunday afternoon, but I was sat immediately. They had the perfect amount of staff on hand. I did not get her name, but she gave me a great pedicure. She was meticulous when it came to my toes looking perfect. The staff as a whole was friendly and made me feel welcome.

I rarely rate low, but I had a reservation for 1230, for my daughters and myself. This was suppose to be a fun ti.e together. They were so busy, that we had to do the pedicures separately, and 30 mins late. Not sure why I had a reservation at all. Wont be going back!!!

Not the best customer service, you make an appointment show up and you still have to wait because they are busy and arent taking appointments when i scheduled it ahead of time...previously they made me waited 2 hours they said i would be better off making an appointment in the future, But whats the point? Not a good experience. Quick in and out. Have never had a pedicure where they did no leg masssge and only a quick massage of feet. Sign outside said $23.00; my bill was $29.75. At that point, I was just ready to get out. There are plenty of other places to try in Santa Fe.

This is my favorite place to get my nails done in Santa Fe. Its clean, I never have to wait too long and its overall friendly. Mimi does a great overlay manicure in a short amount of time. My nails last at least two weeks. Lin is really sweet and is meticulous in her work.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. Waited 25 minutes when the place was just about empty. I finally got seated and the initial technician was conversing with other staff members and cut me three times. The nail technician next to her noticed my frustration and moved me to her station. I was hopeful my experience would improve. However, $35 later on a fill and my nails are awful! There is rippling in the nail polish, uneven surface to the point my nail look abnormal and peeling gel polish 45 minutes after leaving the shop. So very disappointed!!!

Im super picky about my nails but I definitely trust the crew at Elegant Nails! Ive gotten gel/shellac here multiple times and they always last at least 3 weeks without chipping. The staff has always been very nice and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the Santa Fe area.

I am visiting from out of state and went to this nail salon to get a pedicure for myself and my niece. The women who did my pedicure was rude, not paying attention to what she was doing and cut me. Not only did she cut me, but she did a horrible job of painting my toe nails. She also did nit give me back the correct change and withheld 2$ for herself. I do not recommend this place.

MiMi was amazing. I am super picky about my acrylic nails and she listened to exactly what I asked for. I got a gel mani and pedi and I was very pleased with the outcome. I am not from here originally so I wasnt sure what the experience would be like, but this is the most amazing and pleasant experience I have ever had out of all the times I have gotten my nails done. Mimi & her staff are absolutely wonderful, they take the upmost care of there customers. I broke my nail & it hurt so bad & Elegant Nails rescued me, they took the broken nail out and it felt much better. If u make an appointment dont expect to be seen at that time. Instead sit and watch a walk in go before u and then youll be seen over 20 min.s later. Not professional at all. My nails did come out nice Ill admit.

They were rude an unprofessional! They were very distracted by their soccer game playing an therefore our pedicures were the worst we’ve ever received! Also my sister had a bruised toe an told them several times to be careful but they completely disregarded her! Will NEVER go back!!!!

Went in for a fill and pedicure on my birthday, nails are uneven, three days later my nails chipped and the polish came up on all the nails that chipped. Rushed through my pedicure, when they put the top coat on my toenails she didn’t even paint my nails she painted my toes. Way over priced. Will not be returning to Elegant nails and spa. Horrible experience

I went for a gel manicure to this pathetic place. The lady put the gel on so thick when she wiped it off, it was still wet. She went to pull it off and pulled a section of my nail bed up and my toe was bleeding. The most horrific experience. Another employee came over and took the gel polish off and put acrylic on. They charged me full price and couldn’t even apologize. I will NEVER go back here. BEWARE

This is a very unclean and unprofessional salon. Three things happened to us 1) cuticle clipped on two fingers and caused bleeding 2) I watched as they put dirty nail clippers into plastic folder without cleaning them for the next customer and 3) they overcharged us and when asked for an itemized receipt would not give it. I asked two separate people the price and they each gave me different prices, which were also different than their sign on the front. Basically, I have red bloody cuticles, was overcharged & the next customer will have blood on the clippers. Disgusting and dirty.

I gave this place a couple of tries, but the staff is rude, and the quality of work atrocious. Pedicures and gel nails dont even last 2 weeks. Other nail salons were shocked at how bad my nails looked. A very negative vibe and unfriendly management. No consideration for your time

Terrible. Went in for a basic manicure and pedicure. My nails were cut so short, the nail doesnt even touch when I put my finger against a surface. And, theyre crooked. The polish was put all the way to the edges and onto the cuticle. They spent over 30 minutes trying to use a little brush and nailpolish remover to get the edges cleaned up. And, I still have my old nailpolish smeared all over my fingers! I dont know how the pedicure would be... I walked out. Luckily there is a Sally Beauty right across. So, I went in and bought nailpolish remover, top & base coats, and Ill go home and do my own nails. Do NOT go to this place. TERRIBLE.

The people were not attentive at all. I waited for half an hour to sit down then another 30 minutes for them to start my nails. It took her about an hour to put my gel on and it is the worst looking manicure I have ever had. It is uneven and only covers half my nail. I was very unsatisfied.
