I got a deluxe pedicure, dip nails with extensions, and a lip wax. My tech took her time with each service and I love how my nails look and feel! No over drilling. Nice and gentle! I have shopped several different salons... hands down, the best! And lovely conversation to pass the time.

I had to get my nails fixed 2 times within a week! So many people recommended this place but i was nothing but disappointed. Guy who did them took a chunk out of my pinky while shaping them. Always so impatient I would rather drive to Albuquerque!

Had an appointment at 6:30 and they close at 7. He stay late and did my nails exactly like I wanted them. They are beautiful!!! 😍💯 Im so happy with the out come. ☺ I would recommend them any time. Thank you for the amazing set of nails I now have! Much love 💜

My nails were not filled in properly Its only been 2 days. I called to get in and they wont fix there poor quality. Work $ 100. I called to ask for a manager. Theres no manager that works there. Only the. Rude guy who answered today. My nails have been loose to. Dont waist your money here

I got done recieving the best manicure of my life. They turned out absolutely stunning! I wish I could remember The guys name who did them I think it was something like don, but I am not completely sure. it was a 3 letter name. This will be my go to nail place for now on. Also, the guy that did them was super friendly and interesting to talk to.

Do not go here. They purposely overcharge, and do not disclose all price information so they can overcharge you. That is illegal. I paid $20 extra for charges I was not informed about prior to paying. When I questioned the guy who runs the place, and explained to him no one informed me about the extra charges he was very rude and unprofessional and I had to pay the full price anyway.On top of being overcharged, the acrylic nails I received were messy and asymmetrical and not of high quality. No wonder they only have a few stars. DO NOT GO HERE! They take advantage of customers.

Had an appointment at 5:15 for myself and my daughter. We were told to sit at a pedicure chair and someone would clean it. We sat for 35 minutes, tons of workers looking at us but no one acknowledged us. Finally a lady went to fill up the dirty, tub with water, I said they are both dirty, her response was no they are not. I pointed out they still had dirty cotton from the person before us. Then she asked if I would like her to clean them? When I said yes please. Her attitude and everyone working there turned rude. They all felt the need to talk about us in a rude manner. We were then ignored and after another half hour we left. Very dirty and rude people. Who wants to share foot filth? Very discouraged with this place. Other people waiting and asked about the wait were ignored as well. If you dont mind someone elses feet filth in your water, then they are the perfect place.

I witnessed the owner be very Rude to a customer and a lady worker start yelling in this womens face. I was waiting in chair getting my nails done, wish I could of walked out. I was disgusted with CA Nails being so unprofessional and not caring about how this behavior effected the whole establishment. The owner and worker continued to belittle this lady to other customers. I will not be returning and strongly recommend others to not support them. I had heard rumors of the owner being rude, but experienced it first hand. Even though it wasnt directed at me, it left me feeling uncomfortable. Very disappointed. Also the wait was insane and the quality of my nails were not very good for the price I paid.

I got my nails done here on thursday and i loved them until the next day i noticed some lifting already. I had a very busy weekend so i didnt go back to fix them and then monday one of my nails popped off. I went back to get it fixed but not worth the very long wait. Very sad cause it is a waste of money :/

Worst experience of my life don is the worst and he claims he is so good at what he does because he’s been doing it for 35 year lmao if that’s the case then learn customer service!!!! Did my nails a full set paid 70$ and tipped he left an air pocket and told me to come back the next day and each time I went in they told me an hour or more of a wait. I received the best pedicure I have had in over 20 years. The service was very professional, my feet were cleaned, too nails clipped and cleaned up, the callouses removed and possibly the best foot massage ever. I dont want to detract from the fantastic manicure, but if I could have only one service, it would be the pedicure. I wish the were in Dallas instead of Santa Fe. If so, I would be a regular.

Sorry to the owner for posting such a negative review but last week being seen by the guy who sits closest to the door and the woman he passed me onto half way did such a poor set of full nails with gel.The guy brags that he has been doing nails for 35 years, but I think his training or standards of quality are poor.Having gotten my nails done elsewhere I am used to stunning quality, but trying your salon for the first time when I have lost my previous nail artist. I was do disappointed.The nail was not buffed enough prior to gluing the nail on, do today I hope back a week later because the nail has lifted off. He went to place glue close to the cuticle but I showed him it has lifted do please place the glue under the nail....again I get yd he has been doing this for 25 yes, and people all day have been telling him what to do..hmm hint hint I feel.So he glued near the cuticle but not lifting the nail, so now I know I have an air-pocket between the top and the end of the cuticle, great if you want water under it and a fungal issue.But back to the work originally did. Whilst working on my nails being St the front, he was the greeter/manager he tells me do every give minutes, interruptions.I dont believe he buffed my natural nail enough, hence a week later it lifting. Ok, the acrylic powder he put on thick and rough. His attempt to shape the acrylic powder to look smooth and blended was not done with thick edges on one side and thinner on the other side.So the finish is poor to say the least.His girlfriend he tells me arrives do he gets up and says she will do the gloss gel coat, gets up and sits with another woman and begins hers.So the girlfriend shapes into the almond shape And begins painting them.The Polish looks old and thin And gluggy. The two coats she does are very poor, unbalanced and not even.You can see the color variations very easily in s normal lit too. No depth of color, a few air bubbles and uneven color.Sorry guys but not coming back and wasting my money.(UPDATE)...5 days later went back as the index finger nail is lifting. same guy proceeds to apply glue to the top of the nail and next to the cuticle. I ask him to place it under the nail and he states that people have been telling him what to do all day. (i wonder why).Now i have glue all over my nail on top and along the cuticle and looks poor now. It lifted again in the afternoon so i got some superglue and placed it under the nail to hold it down till i can get them removed and done by a nail professional. The manager just does not care!.See pics and go elsewhere. Uneven surfaces, poorly applied gel coat.

They have a really good selection of nails and really nice employees. They dont complain about your nails or you being a bit shaky (like other nail places Ive been to.). The person that was doing my nails had a really strong accent and sometimes i didnt know what he was saying, but in the end my nails are great and i got no scratches on my fingers or around my nails. This is a great place!

One of the workers told me that they have been really slow n now I know why Don did these nails I was like really is this a diction of what you want to represent the nails you are certified to do?? Probably not but instead of fixing them Im told to come Back next day see another person cause he couldnt fiix them right then n there. But I just decided Id go back to serenity they truly are good only reason I came here is because SERENITY NAILS IS so good their apts are booked out a month ... Walked in with no appt took about 20 min to take me in. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I was also in a hurry and the poor guy doing my nails did them in 30 min! He did a good job they were gel colored nails so it wasn’t too hard of a job. I will be returning.

After grinding off most of my thumbnail, the owner shamed me in front of customers - and said he didnt want my business . Then he pulled the shade and locked the door with customers inside.Weirdest consumer experience. Ever.Often, all that needs to be said is Sorry, and how can I make it right?Unkindness is not good business.If I could give less than one I would have.

Today was my second try at CA Nails. The 1st time was ok but the lady was pretty rough. I also felt I was overcharged but I thought I would try again.Today I got a different nail tech. I asked for a repair on 2 broken nails (which didnt happen. I even asked her at about the point where I thought it shouldve been done & she responded incoherently. Then she blamed me saying she asked but I didnt say anything. I DID say something both to the owner and to her when I walked in the door!) I asked for a gel manicure but had to have her clean up the polish as it was all over my skin - a very sloppy paint job. Also nails were not filed smooth -rough edges! Also asked for gel polish change on toes which was ok. Tools were not sterilized! Prices posted are unclear. Polish change is posted at $8+ but since it was gel, it was $18! My total today was $57 for a sloppy and unsanitary job! Never going back! Dont go there!

I always walk out with a smile. I have already gone quite a few times and each time I have enjoyed my experience. My manicure and pedicure is always nice especially because they always give you a massage. The gel manicures were good but if you have never had dipped you need to get dipped! It was all amazing.

As an out of towner, I did not know were to go for a pedicure but this location had good ratings and was nearby. The gentleman who did my toes did a very good job. My only complaint was the chatter over him by other techs while I was trying to enjoy the message on my feet and legs. Had it been a quieter environment I would have given it 5 stars.

Went here yesterday for the first time I always went to the one at the mall but this has to be the best nail salon in Santa Fe. Workers were in a happy mood to work, everyone was very nice, and even though it was busy I didn’t have to wait long. Worth the money 💰

I have been going to Don since he was at his shop at College Plaza Center. They are always very helpful and respectful. Always happy to see you and Don does an amazing job. I used to go to this shop. Theres a mother and daughter who work there who are sweet and do great nails! But...THE OWNER...I stopped going because he was so rude. He acts like hes bothered by people coming in to the salon. The last time I was there, he assumed I wanted a particular tech (I didnt ask for one) and put a lady who walked in after me, in a chair before me. His tone was very sweet with her. Not with me. The nail techs I used apologized because they saw what he did. The owner did not. So...after a couple years, I decided Id try them again. Same thing. Super packed. Incredibly rude owner. Ill never go back.

Don the guy up front is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not be going back. Overpriced as well.

Worst place I’ve ever been too.Lady was talking to on the phone the entire time she was doing my nails and was still rushing. One day later my nails were getting stuck to my hair and one easily fell off right away. I’ve been there a couple of times and they always do the same thing.

Worst manicure Ive ever gotten and also pretty bad service. I was a walk in, but asked and was assured it was okay. I waited 35 minutes for them to seat me then another 15 for someone to start on my nails. The man was incredibly rough and at the end of it all, my polish (shellac) was lumpy, uneven, and overall looked bad. I was just passing through town and out of time, but had I noticed sooner I would have had them redo my entire manicure. This was on a Saturday and it is now Friday and 5 of my nails are already cracked or chipped. Would not recommend this place.

I would give a zero if I could. Called ahead and went in for a gel manicure, when I arrived, I was told they’d be with me in 20 minutes. Before you knew it, an hour had gone by and I still hadn’t been seen. One of the older ladies finally helped me, to say it was a HORRIBLE job is an understatement. The woman didn’t even finish removing the previous nail polish I had, when I asked her to fix it, she got irritated and threw the buffer at me. I walked out paying full price for a manicure that looks like a 2 year old did it. I will never go here again.

Went in to get my old set taken off. It took 3 people and an hour soaking. I don’t know why this took 3 people. I don’t know why it took an hour (longest I’ve ever had to soak for anywhere else was 20 minutes). The last lady who worked on my nails used that electric filer until it hurt my nail, she went over my skin 3 times. & what benefit does it give to be do aggressive with the buffer? DO NOT GO THERE!! I asked for deluxe pedicure. Nail tech(man) skipped a step and wouldnt go back and do it. He said all done. Then he was to do dip powder on nails but I told him(3 X)I only wanted color on tips, he said yes, yes. He colored the whole nail. I told him I wasnt happy. He begged me not to complain to the owner, I didnt. I was there 2 hrs and he made little cuts all around my nails. It was the most I’ve ever paid for these services. One wk later nails were chipping. I went back and told him to just take it off and do gel. They charged me for it. I told the owner what all my complaints were and he didnt care. I told him I shouldnt have to pay for having to come back to get my nails fixed. Terrible place.

New to the area, went to get my nails done before going away for New Years weekend. Paid $45 for the dip powder. The technician was very nice and attentive. However they weren’t done correctly, they started chipping within 24 hours. So obviously I am not near the salon to have them repaired. Anyone who has ever had the dip powder knows that it lasts 2-3 weeks and is actually tough to remove. Not sure what they used but definitely will not be returning to this location.

I was there yesterday and got my nails done. This morning I woke up to a disaster of a French Manicure. In less than 24 hours I went to fix my nails and the manager was very rude because I explained I did not like the way they looked. I had them cover my nails with a polish but while this happened the manager was talking about me to another client and I asked him to please not talk about me while I was right there. He kicked me out of the store! The store was full of people and it was very embarrassing and this is no way to treat a client. I didn’t mind to pay, I just wanted my nails to look great especially after paying for this. I will never go back there again, their customer service is really bad, and this business is all about customer service. Good luck to any of you that will go. I won’t come back to a place that disrespected me as a costumer and I’m sure I’m not the first ..

Went in for a new setI waited 45 minutes and they took 2 ladies who came in after me, before me. 2 other ladies walked out before me due to the wait. They never asked if I had appt. If I knew I needed an appointment I would not have wasted 45 minutes. And was very rude when I said I was leaving.

I’ve only given one star because there is not an option to give less than that.I waited over 45 min for a simple manicure.After finally being taken to a chair, I waited another half hour. When the lady finally started on my nails, she had me place my hands on a CLEARLY dirty towel that had old nail polish, acrylic powder etc... She began to try and paint my nails BEFORE CUTTING THEM or trimming my cuticles. And when I asked about it, she rolled her eyes at me and just continued.She finished my nails in about 10 min with ONE coat of polish, without cutting them and without putting forth much effort at all, meanwhile all the women next to me where being given undivided attention and effort.I paid and tried to talk to the manager about my “manicure” to which he told me “no, it looks great.”Don’t waste your money. Stay home and have your 5 year old do your manicure. It’ll look 100 times better than what these people can do.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!! I went in to get a refill for my acrylics and the man at the front desk said around 30-40 minute wait. I asked if I can come back around the 30-40 minute wait and he said sure. I came back and I ended up staying another 40 minutes! I asked him how much longer I would need to wait he said around 30 more minutes. I got to CA nails around 3:30 and I finally just left at 5:48. I was pisssed off. I bet they wouldn’t even do a good job. I would rather go to a salon in Albuquerque because they would do such a better job than here in Santa Fe. A lady doing someone’s pedicure dropped the cuticle tools twice and didn’t even clean them, when you walk in the salon, there is pink nail polish all over, the floors were not clean. The nail polish was not sanitary, and not one single nail technician was wearing gloves. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY VERY UNSANITARY. This was a horrific experience. One lady who had an appointment walked in and sad to the technician at the front desk, “ I thought you said no one was here?” The nail technician stayed quiet for he did not know what to say. THEY JUST WANTED BUISSNESS SO THEY LIED TO ME AND TO A COSTUMER. The costumer whom had an appointment ended up staying waiting around 50 minuets. Also a technician was running the front desk and doing a costumers nails. The place was discussing. Although I did like the chandelier in the middle of the salon. I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Again do not waist your time!

Their services are horrible. I went for gel nails. First of all I had a tough time explaining what I need. On top I told them I don’t need mani and pedi just gel nails but the lady who did my nails did mani. She applied very little bit of moisturizer and considered it a full manicure. I felt she was in a bit hurry. Well they charged me for nails and manicure. Well, the very next morning I found the gel had some bubbles and a layer of color got chipped from my thumb nail. I wasn’t really happy. I went to CA nails again and the guy at the front told me there is a wait time. After 20 minutes I was called. Same lady who did my nails came after a while and put some solution to remove the color she wrapped my nails in aluminum foil and she went to serve another customer. In between there was another lady showed up and she was about to do something else on my nails. I said I just need a nail fix. she didn’t understand. Well, I had hard time explaining what I m looking for. Well, I waited for 1 and half hour to get my nails done. I wasted my time whereas, it could be done correctly at the first place. I would say they understand everything about money but they don’t understand what customer is asking. On top the guy at the front says I m best in the town. Having confidence is a good thing but overconfidence ruins the business.

It was very busy. I did have to wait about 45 minutes. But i soon realized that was because people who took the time to make an appointment were given service first. I will make one for next time. It was my first time here on recommendation frow two coworkers . It was way better than my prior experience in Santa Fe. I like that my nail tech, her name is Ha, did not talk my ear off and worked fast but did not rush. She was also patient with my fidgeting and me tKing forever to pick a color.

Dont waste your money!!! Seriously would give 0 stars if I could. I Sat for over 2 hours for a simple, one color full set. Paid over $50. And almost 2 weeks later every nail is lifting off. I now cant even just get a fill as every nail needs to be removed. I will not be going back and wasting a single $ or shred of my energy to even try and have them fixed. Worst “manicure” I have ever gotten! No difference from before I walked in to what the outcome is. Nails were broken by tech and not shaped at all. Gel on my nail is tacky and bubbled besides it took two hours and two techs to get this mess done. Also gossip between techs about a resent complain from a customer, is not a good business practice!

This place is one of the best salon experiences I have had ever. The staff was nice, the male technicians were entertaining with their banter to each other, mine was even friendly and talkative with me, and the place was calm and clean even while busy. I didnt feel rushed through my mani/pedi and I was even given some tips on how to take care of my hands and feet.The only thing I have to say is to the customers coming here: please dont be rude. These men and women are trying to be helpful. It should behoove you to treat them like regular people and not service workers.

Ive been going to Don the owner/general manager since they were at College Plaza going on 13 years. Everytime my nails come out superb and last two to three weeks in which I schedule my next appointment. In reading the comments many people are unhappy with the wait time for walk-ins. They are an extremely busy salon and I strongly suggest making an appointment to alleviate a wait time. In addition, to full-time set and fills I have had pedicures and waxing done. Ive always been pleased everytime I walk out the door. I have always been treated like family when I go, been shown the upmost respect and received quality custom service along with work and product. There has never been a language barrier nor unsanitary conditions in my experience of going on 13 years of service which is the contrary to others accounts. In reference to insects in the establishment or as previously claimed in the pedicure treatment area that has never been my experience not observation. In short, make an appointment, arrive on-time and sit back and enjoy a relaxing, quality, customer service, family friendly enviroment and fantastic appointment. Thank you Don, family and staff members for going on 13 years of gorgeous nails and excellent services.

I got arcylics done there, they did such a bad job. Lady that was doing my nails didnt seem to care and rushed. Its been 4 days, my nails have air bubbles and paint is already coming off and its gel so they say, its supposed to last a long time. Also, she didnt paint my nails completely. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN! I waisted $45 on a bad nail job.

I dont get manicures, that being said, I went in to get my nails done as part of a bridal party and I asked them if they could do ombre nails for me, they said yes just bring a picture and well make it happen. Upon arriving I showed them the picture then they tried for an hour before giving up and telling me the one guy that might be able to do it will be available in another hour. At this point I am already late for another appointment and didnt get what I was told could be done. The staff was polite but I think maybe a language barrier happened? I dont know but I was super disappointed and pretty frustrated when all was said and done

Rude and nasty remarks made and questionable hygienic and sanitary measures. Clippers pulled out of a box? Were those clean/sterilized?? Hmmmm. I asked for a mani-pedi, they did a rush job on the pedicure, painted over my cuticles. When I asked about when my manicure would be done, they looked at each other and cracked jokes and made snide remarks in a different language and then ignored me. Manicure never done! My advice: STAY AWAY.

It took him over two hours to do my nails because they all stop, go do other peoples feet and nails, and then come back. They spend more time looking over everyones heads at each other and talking than they spend on your nails. How very annoying. My nails came out badly painted on the sides, and he didnt put the goopy stuff all the way to the cuticles so they look like theyve been growing for a few weeks.
