My sister recommended this place, she has been coming here for years. I went to Lac, he did an awesome job! He took his time and made sure my nails looked great! He had no problem shaping them and never cut my cuticles! They look great and I am very happy. I will be going back. I will say it was a little disorganized and messy, they have a new addition to the shop and it could use some upgrades. But service was great!

Really dissatisfied I’ve been here several times and have never had such a bad experience. The person who did my nails said they could do the design I wanted and when they “finished” I had not one drop of polish on my fingers the acrylic was bumpy and extremely thin. I told to just paint over the with a brown shade and he did a horrible job I had paint over my fingers and under the nail. Extremely dissatisfied.

Service was good, walked right in with no wait and had a shellac manicure done. They were friendly and let me draw my design I wanted and then they painted it on. It was affordable, not the best quality nails Ive had done, you cant see in the pictures that there are little divets in the paint on some of the nails, but its hard to notice unless youre looking for it. Had my nails less then one week and one nail is starting to lift already. Overall good quality for price.

This is the elegant nails in the Santa Fe place mall. I have never been so disappointed in a nail salon as I am with this one. The person that did my nails was very unprofessional. She didn’t soak my nails before taking off the old nails she just clipped them off. When I told her it was hurting she laughed and called me as baby cry and a wimp. She continued to do this through the entire time of my appointment. When I asked for a wax, I didn’t realize she would also be doing the waxing. She told me “you don’t be a baby cry okay “. I will never ever go back

My daughter is young but doesnt mean she should be treated rudely. They absolutely did a horrible job! I will never take her there again! They were supposedly almost done with her pedicure and hadnt even shaped her nails evenly and they were just going to leave it until I went in to tell them. They didnt even paint her entire toe nail. Her nail set looks horrible and didnt do what she asked. She was a paying customer young or not but a paying customer.

I have mixed views of this place. My pedicure was amazing, no complaints, appropriate time and feet were properly done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. My hands on the other, no bueno. I’m not a professional but I’ve been getting my nails done 15+ years. I was changed to a kid who I don’t think is an actual nail tech, he did color/extra items I wanted but the acrylic was all over the place super uneven/ not colored even. His beading was horrific. The entire nail shape was off, including how thick it was. I asked for coffin, I received box/square, fine. My nails were never cut upon new set, I could have let that go.. but nails were never even glued completely down to the plastic set before acrylic... super bad, infections happen this way or gross things get caught between🤢. I’m not trying to be a stickler I’m sure there are good technicians there, just make sure they are certified. My nails(hands)immediately cracked that night, I’m still super upset since I spent over 100$ not including tips to each tech(or so called tech). I also did nothing for them to crack, I walked to my vehicle and got in straight from nails being done.

I’ve always had a great experience here. I recently broke my nail very badly and came in to get it fixed. I waited an hour and a half for my appointment. I spent an hour filing my own nail And then they didn’t even fix my nail. Just some sloppy acrylic on top, they did not file it, and they did not paint it. Sad to say it was a bad experience today.

This used to be my go to place and it seems like they have become a pretty popular one, and with that comes lower quality of service. I wouldnt recommend coming here UNLESS you are lucky enough to get into Lacs chair. My last experience was horrible, the tech argued with me about what I wanted, because Im guessing she was pressed for time and what I wanted took too much of it. She then continued to be rude to me the rest of the time. I just recently gave this place another try last week, and my experience was terrible in a different way, I told the tech I wanted a purple tip and she completely ignored what I wanted and did her own thing. I didnt say anything as it was good work and I really am not that picky. BUT None of the tools came in a sterilized packaged and she RECYCLED the acetone I had my fingers soaked in. She poured it back in the bottle! I was horrified, because although acetone is strong enough to kill some bacteria, it does nothing to fungus.. The next day my nail broke and not even a full week later, another one of my nails broke. I paid $70 for SNS dip, manicure and French tip and now I have to go to my usual place to do it correctly and in a more clean manner for half that price. NEVER AGAIN.

Im hesitant to leave a review because I dont want the tourists to discover what seems to be the only nail salon in Santa Fe that hasnt marked up their prices for tourism. I got a super reasonably priced and top quality pedi and gel manicure and the staff was great! It was busy so I recommend calling ahead on the weekends, but worth waiting for, too.

Paid for a deluxe pedicure - $55 total - my feet are just as bad as when I walked in - very sloppy work I asked for more work on a rough spot on the side of my toe- that did t happen - I had remaining product on my leg I noticed later that day. The polish on my big toe started to come off within a few hours. Has to be the work service I have had in over 25 years….

Got charge 35 for a fill. They have a price list posted where they think only they can read it. Says 22...staff argued with me over whether they could even do a fill with colored acrylic. I used to go here all the time prior to covid. I will not be returning. Not only was I over charged but they tried so hard to push for gel I had to say no about 6 times. I guess driving to Albuquerque for decent nails is my only option now.

Yikes, I will not be back. My usual place was totally booked, so I decided to give this place a try. I booked an appointment for a gel pedicure, although it seems that the concept of appointments does not exist at this place. I waited for 20min, then another 25min soaking in a foot bath (which was barely lukewarm water). I kept getting told my pedicure would begin soon.....and it finally did, 45min late. The technician did not even say hello, and she was finished in less than 30min (which to me indicates lack of attention to detail, and NOT worth $40+). Overall, it was a chaotic experience on a Wednesday afternoon... also, Ive never written a poor review for a nail salon....

I LOVE LOVE this salon I have been going for years, I have been to multiple salons and not very much carry high end products such as Kiara Sky which is very expensive brand. The choice in whatever shape you ask is always matched in my case I have always received a perfect set from this salon. As well as the thickness I notice many salons put a whole guap of acrylic and leave your nails looking bulgy and I have NEVER experienced that here. I have also never been cut by the drill like other salons and my nails don’t gap in my cuticle as fast as they do with other salons. I have also done pedicures “chefs kiss” perfect relaxing and most of all clean. The environment is real nice everyone is real friendly! It doesn’t matter who you get always great set and always great prices! I move to albuquerque and literally will travel up or go without if its not here.

I am from out of town and went to this place on a Sunday. Horrible. The guy did my nails so sloppy. So many air bubbles and dents, the shape was so bad. He made them really bulky. I filed them down the night of and took them off a day later.

I had the worst manicure and pedicure of my life. The gel polish came off the night I had my nails done. She also didnt shape my nails. I could go on but I dont want this complaint to be too long. If there was an option for no stars, I would have given the manicurist that rating. I definitely will not go back to Elegant Nails again.

Not sure what they did or didnt do but i paid $80 for a mani pedi last saturday and all the nails have already chipped and came off clean. Its like she skipped a step because i got there an hour and a half before closing. I feel like i wasted my money. This was supposed to be for my vacation this weekend and i already have no nails and need to redo myself. When i told her she left something pokey on multiple fingers she just brought the file up to try to fix it rather than taking us back to the chair and actually fixing it. I went home and had to file more because there was dried paint under the nail too sticking to my skin. Avoid this place!!!

I came in with my niece to get our nails done. We told them we wanted two gel manicures. I asked how long it would take, they said they could take one of us now and the other in “10” minutes. I had my niece go first and seeing how it was only “10” minutes, I waited. It has been more than 30 and they barely acknowledged me to tel me it’ll be a few. I told him “no, you took to long. You said it would be “10” minutes and it has been more than 30. They are very unorganized, even with a list of who has signed in, they don’t follow it. I literally saw people go before me and people go before the lady that arrived after me. I don’t see myself or my niece coming here EVER again. They just seem money hungry by saying yes to everyone, even though they know they can’t handle the volume. Forgot to mention that they are not following Covid regulations. Their masks weren’t covering their noses, they sat a girl right next to my niece, not 6 feet apart. And, they cut my niece cuticles too short that it made her bleed.

This place is awsome I recomend them to anyone

Tools not cleaned. My thumb cuticle was cut by lady and bled with unclean tools. Asked for nails to be rounded and came out with nails that I dont know what their shape is. Also asked for black nails with white accent nail but ended up getting nails that were black with white fingerprints. Lady got nail polish on my fingers as well. The at the end proceeded to charge me $32.53 for painted nails nothing else. Go somewhere else and save yourself time.

I went in last week, they scheduled me an appt for 6:30 knowing they close at 7. I still went in got there at 6:20 to see if they could sit me right away. They told me to wait so I did, they didn’t call me in till 6:50. I had asked for a full set the lady told me no, that she could do a fill if I wanted, so I agreed. I showed her the colors I wanted and she said “no I only have 7 minutes if you want I can take off your nails and paint them” I asked her to stop and told her that this was unacceptable because I came in earlier and waited for them, especially because they gave me the appointment at 6:30 knowing the mall closes at 7 and because the whole time I was waiting I saw a couple of them sitting on their phone. I left and called them to let them know I wanted to speak to a manager, the guy told me that no manager was there and he wasn’t going to be there for a few days so I am still waiting for a manager every time I go he’s still not there. It is extremely disappointing because I always go here it has been a favorite of mine. I feel that they really need to work on their time management, now I’m off to find another nail salon when this has been my favorite.

They were efficient, friendly and caring. We both got dips and they were quick with good results. Highly recommend Elegant nails in Santa Fe.

I really enjoy getting mani and pedis here at Elegant Nails. I usually get gel manicures and I have noticed this is the only place that the gel doesn’t start to lift at the cuticles. I also got a gel pedicure about 2 months ago and was surprised on how well they are handling all the COVID regulations considering how busy the alway are.

Really great job, Ive been here twice now and the first time one of the ladies was really helpful and answered all my questions. This second time around though, I got another lady and she was a little bit rougher than the last time I got my nails done but none the less they came out really great.

PLEASE READOver All was having a good time until he messed up the shape I had already came in with and then had this near by women with no precision an the wobbliest hand to finish me up. She had cleaned and restarted maybe twice (on multiple fingers ) before I had to ask her myself for the first time to fix it again ...and again, at this point I’m thinking is it even worth staying .these are my birthday nails and they are awfully done and rushed to max . i told her she had missed spots and continued to tell me it was my finger ... The guy who started me had to come back and file off the color again on multiple fingers. Frustrated he messed up the nail it’s self as it’s now lumpy, I also got a transparent color and he filed underneath the nail touching my actual nail making the color look rough and obviously not transparent .. I still paid full and even tipped the man who started me pretty well ..i shouldn’t have had to pay so much for a fill and the design i got wasn’t even worth the three+ dollars .. each nail all the same and they arent even Symmetrical. They cut me and the tools and fumes in the air smell musty like they havent been cleaned properly . My nails still have that fume to them and I’ve washed them multiple times trying to get rid of it . I’ve never experienced something like this in my life . I do my research so I definitely know what to expect and how they are suppose to handle you, I should’ve gotten up and walked out the moment they started accusing me for the hair Embedded in the polish that came from the woman’s finger as I even told her prior she had things on her hands and ignored me or maybe she didn’t hear or understand me ... THERES EVEN POLISH all over my finger along with acrylic ): they were so up and over it, so many things are just built up and i wanted to feel pampered for my birthday for once ... i wanted to leave in tears

I ALWAYS come here! I live in espanola and I’d take the trip over to Santa Fe to get my nails done here any day! I made an appointment which I was late for, I just as to wait 15 minutes and was more than happy with the results of my nails.

This is my go to place for my nails. I go only to Annie. She is the best. Her nails are perfectly done and I get so many compliments. All the girl are gracious and welcoming. I love it there.

Lac is amazing!!! Hes the only person I will go to! He does amazing work. Hes very personable and really connects with his customers, he always remembers you to!. He cares about you and goes along way!

My wife came here. She got in right on time, had a young man do her nails and he did an excellent job on her nails. Any error he made he quickly fixed and constantly checked to see if she was happy with how it was looking. The pedicure wasnt extensive but it was still good, she says.

I went to get a pedicure and the lady I used was Trish and she did not pay attention to me at all, she was constant looking another direction talking to her co-worker and during the pedicure she got the lava rock and again wasnt paying attention and rubbed the side of my foot so hard it started to bleed profusely and she didnt care to notice nor pay attention to me and put my bleeding foot back into the warm water and continued to rub lotion on my foot and was about to paint them until the lady next to me did something to stop the bleeding. I do not recommend using Trish the salon is okay but she WILL NOT pay attention to you.

Was rushed to get my nails done, they didn’t help me find the polish to match the picture I showed them, they argue with you, and are very rude. If you’re looking for a place to relax and get your nails done and a pedicure I would not recommend this place you get more anxiety than anything. Been to several different nail salons and this one was the worst nail salon I have ever been to.

Worst job ever. Dull gel nails when finished. Rough edges. He cut back my nails, now they are all different lengths. Went right back in after seeing them in the sunlight. They put another top coat on, still dull. And to top it off. The designs on my ring fingers is off center. Not a pleasant experience.

My experience was not good. Although there were several friendly staff members, the lady who gave me a pedicure and manicure was too busy talking to the staff. She trim my cuticles so close to my skin that my skin is red and sore. My toes are currently hurting now. She did not let my feet dry. When I left there my toe polish messed up. She had me walking bare foot to the manicure table. The heal of my foot still has dead skin. While doing my manicure, she stopped to used the same utensil she used to cut away the cuticles from my nails to cut her own nails. The utensil had my dead skin on it. As a visitor of this city, my experience was awful. I will never return.

Absolutely horrible. Upset I spent money. A tech with no license did my mani/pedi. Elderly lady. Tried using dirty tools, got mad when asked for clean or new tools. She cut my toe and didn’t care. You all do know that they use same tools on all the people that come in and that is nasty and unsanitary? She didn’t exfoliate feet very good, had to go back and man made her do again. Honestly didn’t want her to do again but he made her do it. She did apologize but still wasn’t licensed. Didn’t know what she was doing. She was very amateur at this, I could have done better job myself. My nail polish chipped next day, didn’t file nails right, I honestly think she didn’t know how to use her tools. I went because my daughter recommended them, but after talking to my husband which works with state board. He didn’t recommend. They bring relatives/friends to do job to make more money and not experienced. On top of that I went when they opened, was fourth in line and all the techs went to all other chairs and skipped me for some reason and gave me their worst tech. I think they might have known my husband worked for state board and gave me bad service on purpose. You would think it would be opposite and give you better service. Then they pretend like they don’t understand English. Made me so upset. I still have to call right now to fix polish on my nails. I suggest you all get a licensed tech, experienced as well. Never again. 😠

Walked by this place so many times! Should of came here way earlier!! I love it. From all the nail salons Ive been to this has to be the best! Havent gone anywhere else. :) I always ask for Dany hes friendly and very polite and understanding. The whole crew is very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

I absolutely love my nails but they are uneven as far as thickness and I had to reshape them because they weren’t slim looking (I got the coffin shape) but other than that, they’re really beautiful, I haven’t had good quality nails like this since living in California!

I’ve gone to this place for about 5 times. The first two times my nails were “okay” not the best but they weren’t that bad either. The last three times I was really unhappy and unsatisfied with my nails, I asked for a coffin shape and they were all mishaped and I got a fungus infection on one of my fingers!!!! I’ve gotten nails for the last 2 years and never have I ever gotten a fungus infection on any of my nails until I came to this place!!! They are not sanitary at all. I don’t recommend it at all.

A great place for a Pedicure and Manicure!

I gave them 2 stars because I called before i got there to see how much a new set with gel polish and they told me $35. When he got ready to polish he said the color 8 picked out would cost $10 more, then he told me it would cost $5 more because he took my old ones off. Be very aware and ask questions about up charges. And besides that the place was filthy dirty. And some equipment was even rusty. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN . So in the end my $35 quote cost me $45. I left no tip either

It was a horrible experience, rushed us to pay before we were done. They are overpriced, the lady who was working on my daughters nails got up and left before she finished leaving some man to do a hack job on her nails, all while another employee kept peaking over his shoulder and would snicker and walk away. They went to back and washed the nail equipment they used on us in less than 5 minutes. Horrible experience. My daughter left in tears, we will never go back.

I waited an hour to get in and then they kicked me out before they did my nails because they had to close! The water they put my feet in was cold and my massage chair was broken so the peg where stuck digging into my shoulder blades. I hated my experience here and I wont be returning.

We came at the last minute and they took us in right away. My nails lasted for almost a whole month! Very happy with how they did our pedicures.

The owner does impeccable work. I would recommend making an appointment with Lakh. Ive been going to elegant nails for a year now and I have to say that today was very disappointing. My nails are no particular shape theyre not square the knot round or not soft square very disappointed. The one thing that could make his shop top notch is having his employees speak English speak to the customers and stop cackling like hens to each other.. its very disturbing to all customers for them to speak in Vietnamese in front of their customers its rudr and it does sound like bach bach bach bach bach..Im in a barnyard.

Good customer service, only problem was I signed 4 of our names on the sign in sheet and put my number down and was told 15 minutes and I would get a call and went back to find the page flipped an hour later and still wasnt called so then they fit us in.

Terrible customer service! I had made an appointment a week in advance to avoid waiting as a walk-in and because its Christmas time! The appointment was with Tong and I waited 15 minutes and finally was told Tong was sick! Right!!You just know that was an excuse and not the truth! All the others were speaking Vietnamese about it and what else could they say except he was sick!I feel I deserve a free mani/pedi! Well see what happens when I see Tong! Stay tuned!

My wife treated me to a manicure and pedicure. The lady did a good job but I will not be going back because when my wife went to pay, the man charged her twice as much as he said the price was. So my wife told him, he laughed at her and then tried to play it off. She said she saw him hit more numbers than needed. So she went off on him and he tired to act like he did nothing wrong. And then on top of that he came over and was laughing at her some more and complaining about her right there. My wife is an Army Veteran and served in Iraq and she was treating me, she deserves more respect than this. She also has PTSD so Im happy she did not completely go off on the guy. I WILL NOT GO BACK HERE. NOT AFTER THEM DISRESPECTING MY WIFE IN THAT WAY.My nail already chipped and its the first day.

Im giving a full 5 🌟 I had called and made an appointment the person who picked up the phone was rude but I brushed it off so I go in for my appointment and Im given a seat right away I dont know the name of the person who did my nails (they should have nametags) but she did a great job only disappointing thing was they didnt have the colors that I wanted on my nails but she apologized and did something really close to it so I appriciate it will be going back for a fill soon

Assumed I wanted gel polish, were so confused as to the simple polish job I wanted cuz they dont speak English...then when they finally got it right they acted like I was the idiot! Terrible service. I went and use. the restroom and theyre in the bottom drawer that was left open they had all kinds of dirty fingernail clipper toenail clippers and everything.. after I came out the door was left open and one of the ladies went in there and grab the pair of fingernail clippers and Cuticle Nippers and use them on somebody. Never go back
