Its so hard to find the right place. ¡THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE! Nikki is helping me grow out to my natural color with the cutest pixie cut, and were mapping our course to an all-natural, longer bob. She understood immediately what I was hoping for and knew how to translate it to my special head. :-) And then the price was great! ¡YAY! This is an EXCELLENT choice.

This was my 1st visit to color bar. My daughter suggested I go there if I was going to get my hair done. Natalia did a perm on me and it came out a bit relaxed. When I called to let her know she said I should come back in for a re- do. She said there would not be an additional charge and tip was up to me, tip given. It turned out beautiful, husband loves it. Nikki is awesome! When I’m in Santa Fe, she’s my go to gal for a cut and balayage color. Nikki’s shop is very trendy, clean, and always welcoming. Not to mention, last time I was in I got a pair of Zia symbol earrings that are to die for! I’ve know Nikki for years and she’s always professional and courteous— A+.

In desperate need of color correction after a master stylist at a well known local salon turned my blonde to brass, I inadvertently found my way to The Color Bar. I could not be happier, or say enough nice things about this salon, and Cindy. She saw what needed to be fixed, took the time to listen to what I was trying to achieve - and with her blend of knowledge, dedication, and attention to detail not only corrected my color - she made it even better than it had been before the damage! I continue to see Cindy for excellent cuts and color, and recently enjoyed one of her signature regular manicures - the results lasted nearly two weeks!

Over the years and there are many, I have been to many stylists who were ok, but rarely seemed to understand what I wanted. That is until Natalia. Now I am always happy with my hair. I change my mind a lot on how I want it done and Natalia just calmly and sweetly rolls with the many changes..... such as shoulder cut, Bobb, a pixie or what ever the mood strikes. I am never disappointed. I am a fan and have a standing appointment every 5 weeks to maintain my beautiful hair style(s). Thanks Natalia for an awesome job.

So bad so bad so bad!!! Because it is not in my nature to want to hurt other people I am not going to name the stylist I saw who left me with highlights bad enough to prompt me to write this poor review of Color Bar. Suffice to say, I was horrified by the awful results of my hair. I mean clearly she messed up big time and she knew it! I felt cheated of time and money, and was hurt by the owner’s blame shifting when she wanted to make me pay to fix it because I’d had to cancel a prior appointment. In the past I had a wonderful experience with another stylist at the same establishment, so it’s too bad I’ll not be able to work with her again. But I’d never go back.

Natalia Armijo always cuts my wifes hair. She has a short hair style and its difficult to find people who cut/style it well. My wife says Tolly is amazing.
