I had a very good gel pedicure by Ben. He did what I asked and I’m happy with the result. The shop is clean and the staff was friendly.

I had to ask 3 times to get hot water for my pedicure.I also ask to have the bottom of my feet smooth. He gave me some story about how we should have callous on our feet. I ask to sit under the foot dryer. He said no because of the virus, someone was already sitting there. They have shower curtains hanging all over instead of dividers, very tacky.Pedicure was just OK. I will not go back..

I have been to many nail salons in Santa Fe, and this one is the best. I think that some people are confusing Nail Experts with another salon that has a similar name - some bad reviews talk about loud TVs and they dont even HAVE a TV here. This salon always honors appointment times, staff are polite and professional, operates very safely, and does a wonderful job. Yes, a little pricier, but totally worth it!

We needed pedis to show off our sandals we made in workshop. The staff was friendly and professional. Did excellent job especially since my hoofs had been walking for days. They transformed back to feet. Definitely, recommend for reviving your tootsies.

The guy who did my nails was nice & seemingly did a good job on my gel mani until I left and noticed most of the nail polish had bubbles & was uneven. The next day most of my nails chipped and by day 3 every nail chipped. It hasn’t even been a week yet and all my nails look trashed.

It costs a little bit more to get my nails done here and it is absolutely worth it! They do great work and are one of the only places that actually honors appointments and doesnt make me wait for an hour while they take walk-ins. They took my temperature and made me use hand sanitizer upon arrival. They have taken out half of the chairs and put up dividers everywhere. I also saw them cleaning everything after each client. I felt safe with all of their practices.

Although most Salons in Santa Fe opened 2 weeks earlier than Nail Experts once restrictions were lifted, Nail Experts waited 2 weeks and made sure they had all precautions and extra protocol in place. Upon arriving for my pedicure and manicure, the owner took my temperature and administered hand sanitizer before I entered the salon. The salon was spotless. Extra care was taken with not only the hard plastic shields between the technician and client, but ceiling to floor plastic dividers between each station. Each chair was covered completely with plastic covers which could be wiped down sanitized. Each time a client was finished the station was thoroughly cleaned. I also noticed each time a client left the bathroom, it was sanitized and wiped down. I have been a customer for several years and even before Covid they have always been conscientious and sanitary. After 4 months without a professional pedicure or manicure, I couldnt wait to have both. I could have gone to another salon, but because of their professionalism and expertise, I waited until they opened. I would recommend this Salon without reservation!

I was wanting to get a set of nails done. I had visited several places. When I walked Into their establishments, I was not greeted or asked if I needed help. I Just stood there, I turned around and left. I guess third time is a charm as they say. I walked in to nail experts and immediately they greeted me and asked how they could help me. They took me in as a walk in and answered my questions. They were very helpful and friendly. Lee did an amazing job on my nails. I was very pleased with the way they looked. I will definitely return to this place. Clean place. I recommend them.

The man spent 10 minutes on my pedicure and when I questioned him he kicked me to the curb was awful and I’d been there a few times before with other people it was horrible

Relaxing atmosphere and clean environment.

I got a gel manicure and after leaving the salon I have several chips with in a few hours. I called the next day and they offered to redo the chipped ones so I went back and the effected nails were redone. When they were done the second time the man was in a rush and the posh came out uneven. After another day several nails chipped again. I appreciate that he was willing to redo the nails for me but disappointed that this gel manicure didn’t Even last a week.

The best nail salon experience in Santa Fe by FAR with the most reasonable prices. I went in as a walk in and my daughter and I were greeted respectfully. They offer quality services and BEAUTIFUL nail options. They also open earlier than most other nail salons in town. Their pricing is clearly stated which is super helpful and professional.

There is a reason why this salon wins Best of Santa every year. Besides great mani-pedi’s, this is one of the best run businesses in town.Just re-opened and re-fitted for COVID safety, my temperature was taken at the door. I was then given hand sanitizer and shown to an enclosed “booth”. I was immediately offered a sign-in sheet which included a disclaimer, date and time of my visit, contact information, and signature. (They COULD absolutely contract trace should the need occur)The A/C system is off and there is fresh air. Additionally there is an air cleanser mounted on an outside wall. Masks are required. No exceptions. These are smart people.The entire shop has been refitted with hanging partitions, even between me and the technician. Sanitizer is everywhere, and someone is constantly wiping and disinfecting. I felt completely safe.If you fingers and toes need attention don’t be afraid. Mine are very happy.So am I.

If you use gel polish, DO NOT get your nails done here. They only use a drill to take it off and it will significantly weaken your nails. They drIll-drill-drill and way past just the gel polish. I have naturally thick and strong nails and get compliments on them all the time. However, ever since getting my nails done here, they have been breaking like crazy!! They feel almost paper thin. I even asked if they could file a little and then take off the gel, the way my salon in ABQ does it. But, they all complained big time and made me feel like I had to go along with their request. It also took 3x longer to get the gel off. Now I must cut my nails off before they tear any lower and get them redone.

No appointment needed on a Monday afternoon. Quick service, neat & tidy manicure/pedicure. Fixed split nail, the split is no longer visible and no extra charge. Zero pain and good massage.

Extremely relaxing and calming. I had been looking forward to getting my nails done all week and it was definitely worth the wait! They have a good selection of colors and I went on a Friday morning and there was only one other person so they took their time and did everything properly!. Other than that my nails look great!

Paid a lot of money to get a set done with polish. The man that did my nails did them so quick they where left super thick and uneven the polish didnt even cover all my nails and that to was thick and messy. I think they are super busy and dont take time for each person. I took two of my daughters to get theirs done as well and theirs looked better then mine. I went to another place and simply said please help me with these lol they asked if i did them myself. When all said and done my nails are beautiful after it got fixedat another place that i would highly recommend

I just moved here from Texas and I was looking for a good nail salon. I went in yesterday for a pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I’ve ever received. A gentleman was the technician and he didn’t address the cuticles, got polish on my skin, and did no massage. I will not be going back.

The staff at Nail Experts are friendly and skilled. My boyfriend, his 90 year old grandma and I decided to treat ourselves to manicures and pedicures. They did a great job taking care of granny, helping her into the chair and putting her at ease. It was her first pedicure ever and she was nervous at first but she didnt stop smiling the whole time.The salon was very clean, we didnt have to wait very long, the employees did a great job.I recommend this place and we all will definitely be going back.

Emy has been very proficient and does a great job on my pink & white ombre w acrylics manicure and gel pedi. I needed someone here I could count on when I stopped traveling to LA every six weeks (where I had an amazing nail tech who had spoiled me).Emy is always punctual and professional.

I moved from Austin TX and found this great little nail shop. Fast and friendly and the gel nail polish colors actually stay on for the the time they specify. Ben does a wonderful job with acrylics! I never have made an appointment I always walk in and only waited about 10 mins. They are efficient, friendly staff & clean!

I am VERY disappointed in the job the nail technician, Kim, did. My pedicure was only barely acceptable. She was in such a hurry. She only clipped cuticles on my left foot and only buffed my right foot. Did a very quick massage. The first coat was fine, but she did only one swipe of second coat. She then did a brow wax. I cannot tell she got anything. I had to come home and finish the job. To show you how much in a hurry she was she started me AFTER two others were already in the process of a pedicure and she finished my pedicure AND wax before these other two were done. All this for $50!! I will not go back.

Ive been going to this place since they opened and have NEVER been disappointed! The fact that its been voted the Best of Santa Fe more than once speaks volumes as I know it isnt easy to get that designation. I recommend the place to everyone as I have had an extremely positive experience every time!

The first time I went, an older woman was my manicurist. She was efficient and did a good job. The second time when I returned I had an older gentleman. My nails are very short and splitting from all the gardening (with gloves) that I do. I had to keep asking him to remove the dirt under my nails. He was using the round ball end of a cuticle tool which does not scrape out the debris very well. After asking several times to clean them better, he told me the best way we to clean them at the sink with a brush - which I had just done. When I got in my car afterwards, I used my key and easily removed the dirt. It was so ridiculous.He asked me to pay for my regular manicure beforehand as many salons due because my nails would be wet, which included the tip. Since my nails are in bad shape, he told me I should use this nail product that would help my nails, which I had to buy separate. He applied one coat and told me I was finished. So I received half a bad manicure at full price and was NOT happy. My cuticles had pieces of skin sticking up because he did not trim them properly and looked a mess. There was also dry skin all around my nails and they did not looked cleaned up but just messy. He dismissed me and told me to use the product as directed and He was finished. I had to go home and finish cleaning the skin up around my nails. Even my husband noticed how rough they looked and this is not something he regularly pays attention to on a day to day basis. I was so surprised and disappointed that it was this bad. I have no idea why they were voted best in SF. Sure, I was served quickly, but this is what I got. There are too many places in town that do a better job for the same price.

Worst nail salon I have EVER been to, and Ive been getting my nails done for over 20 years!I went in for a set. I just moved, so it had been about 3 and a half weeks since my last fill. All but my thumbs had lifted and i picked them off. (If youve been getting your nails done for awhile, you know this obsession)My tech did new nails on all my fingers and did a fill on my thumbs. Two days later all the nails on my right hand popped off (like Lee Press On nails! ), and the thumb was fine.I went in thinking that perhaps I wasnt paying attention and he didnt use primer.I was treated like I was nuisance. When I asked what could have caused this he told me it was my fault and to take it easy on my nails!!! (In 20 years. ..this has NEVER happened to me!)It is now 5 days since I originally went in and 2 days since I got my right hand fixed. All the nails on my left hand have popped off (except the thumb) and the middle finger on my right hand!I will never return!

Ive being going to Nail Experts for years and their service and cleanliness is always top notch! They only use nail files ONCE (so you dont have to worry about getting someone elses used file) and they always clean their metal tools after each customer. And of course they do a great job! I no longer live in Santa Fe, but every time Im in town I make a point to stop by.

Literally the worst place. DO NOT GO HERE! I should have listened to the reviews. I got a gel mani and pedi and it’s horrible. The man taking care of me didn’t clean my cuticles or dead skin, there was no foot rub and the polish is on my skin. My fingers don’t look any better. There are bubbles on the polish and my nails are uneven. What did I pay $80 for? The customer service there is terrible also. Nobody knows how to say hi or make conversation. Save your time and money and DO NOT GO HERE! I will continue driving to Albuquerque.

I wish I could give I more stars because the staff is very sweet. But i have an honest question: how did this get voted best in Santa Fe? Maybe no one really votes?Im pretty disappointed with the rush job, the lack of attention to cuticle removal and the lack luster massage. The color is uneven. The shape is decent and Im grateful for that.I get it. Maybe doing nails is not the most inspiring thing to do... but thats what I paid for.It was a Poorly done job. Ill try somewhere else next time Im in town.

Exceeded my expectations. They were Great! And very perfectionist. Will definitely go back. All the utensils are thrown and not reused like other nail places which I thought was awesome.

I had to go back 15 minutes later because the nail polish on my natural nails bubbled up. They had to remove the polish and do it again. The next day one chipped. The nail people at the Sta Fe Plaza are WAY better and less expensive!

Hours posted say they are open till 7pm, I arrived @ 5:40 was told OK pick a color & have a seat. I got the quickest, most basic pedicure ever. Needless to say Santa Fes best did not impress this easy to impress gal.

I have been coming here for around 4 or 5 months now. Each time I would get a pedicure and get gel nails filled or new set of nails with a color. At first I was treated really nicely, but with each visit I would be asked to pay cash next time I came in for services. I refuse to carry cash as I have had my purse stolen with bill money in my purse. For me to have plastic for payment everywhere I go is easier for me and gives me peace knowing I can cancel my cards if my purse is ever stolen from me again. PTSD you can say? My last visit earlier this week I was asked again about paying cash and saving 1or 2 dollars off my bill for paying in cash for the services. I got a lecture from one of the male staff members (owner maybe?) and I felt very uncomfortable with him lecturing me on how to carry cash and to pay cash for their services. Needless to say I was not happy with getting lectured nor was I happy with the finished results of my pedicure and I got a full set of nails that same day and the quality of work put into the services I paid for was not what I know they can do. I spent a hard earned $70.00 at this location and was charged $2.00 more for the pedicure and full set of nails equaling $4.00 extra just to pay with my debit card.I was very happy in the beginning, but now I will not return nor will I recommend this place to anyone. I’m also an Uber/Lyft driver and I am in contact with the public daily as well as people coming in from out of town to visit. I’m not a difficult client, but I will not be treated like this ever.Thank you for your time.Today is Tuesday 7/23/19.I just got my nails done at another nail salon to clean up the messy work done by the two gentleman who provided services on my last visit two weeks ago today at this nail expertThe lady who did my pedicure and re-done the full set of gel tips thought I had waited over a month to get my nails done again. When I explained it was just two weeks ago that my pedi/full set was done the lady was in total shock as all of my nails were lifting and breaking off, my pedicure took her a while to correct the in grown toenails that were so desperately needing to be done.Not happy with this place at all.New place today was very good and respectful to me as a customer.

This place was a total waste of my time. I arrived, they told me to be seated. I wanted a pedicure and manicure, waited a half an hour and did not get the service. No one acknowledged me while I was waiting... a bunch of rude and strange people. I will not come back!!

Horrible first impression, asked if they could do a full set with removal & they said yes and I waited 15min before they told me they cannot do it because it will take too long... the man was very rude & they are all very UNwelcoming

I came In for a refill base and as soon as I sat down they started filling at my base and I could immediately tell it wasnt enough as to how much they normally do I told her I had powder and she said it wouldnt be a problem, when she put a new layer of powder you could still see the line from my old base she said its because I went to a different salon initially but Ive never had this problem for a rebase Its one of the easiest things to do. I was not happy then she asked me to pay before I was done and charged me 30 when it clearly says 17.50 on the board she said its because it was powder which makes no sense . This is the worst re base Ive ever had . To top it off she did a clear gel coat on top and its bumby and streaked . Super disappointed would definitely not recommend it was a rip off. After sitting in my car for about 5 min I decided to go back and tell the owner I was really unhappy with my nails and showed him where you could clearly see the old base and all he said was well you should go back to where you got them done the first time if you want the same powder. Well said Ill never recommend this place or throw my money away again

Honestly I had the worst experience at this establishment. I got a pedicure and a full set, the guy who I got, filed my nails really hard to the point I had to pull away twice, and rushed through the whole pedicure. On my full set I asked for the shape I wanted and he insisted I did something different, when I disagreed, he got upset and did what he wanted to one hand anyway. He left my nails uneven, misshaped, fat, and lumpy. I had to ask him to fix my nails multiple times and he got upset and gave me attitude every time. I had to go to Sallys to buy a file and fix it myself when I left. Im really unhappy with my nails and I will never waste my money there again. I honestly feel like if you pay someone to do your nails, you should be getting good service with employees who want YOU to be happy with your nails, not just a poor excuse of a job done.

We made an appointment the same day. They are lovely people, the shop is clean, and they did a great job on my nails. I got a gel manicure for under $30.

I have been coming to this nail salon for 18 years and theyve never disappointed. Im so confused after reading some of these horrible reviews. For 1 they dont have TVS so the review stating their TVS were too loud makes no sense at all. For 2, the last thing they are is uninviting. They treat me like family. Their entire staff are wonderful people who truly take pride in their work. Not only will they give you the most professional service but they are by far the cleanest place in town. My job makes it difficult to arrive any sooner than 5pm but they always welcome me in everytime Im there and as Ive witnessed on numerous occasions they clean that place from top to bottom every night before they close. Give this place a chance. You wont be sorry!!!!

Worst nail salon Ive ever been to! I had acrylics with tips. He convinced me to convert to gel, and that the solid color would cover my tips. It didnt. They were thick, you could see my tips through the color and the nail guy was MEAN. They charged me 42 bucks and 2 weeks later, 2 of my nails have just popped off!!Never again!!

Front door says they close at 7 but they insisted they close at six, we arrived at 5:50 and were finished by 6:10. We had two pedicures and they rushed through everything. Didnt even clean up polish around my nails. Used one hot towel on both legs and had it on my legs for about 10 seconds. Very disappointed, wouldnt recommend and wont return.

Its very under staffed but a nice salon with great prices.

This is the worst salon I have been to, in many years of getting my nails done.Plus, the cost for a fill was $45.00 plus tax and tip. Totally over the top expensive.The rudeness of the owner, was even worse. He was on his way toLas Vegas and ready to close the salon. It was my first and last time to ever go there.

Don’t go here. My mom got a rash after getting a pedicure. The place is not inviting, it smells badly, and it’s crowded and the TVs are loud.

I went in for a pedicure and a manicure. The lady who did my nails was rushing and left my nails worse then when I went in. Part of my nail was not painted and a couple of nails had nail filings under the polish.
