Easy to find and park. Friendly, efficient check in. No hot breakfast dont be fooled by ads, you get a muffin and banana not the buffet shown in pics. Room was clean. The do not provide shampoo etc. But the nice girl at the desk gave me some of hers. Tub is slippery be careful. Please tip housekeeper when visiting hotel/motels its appreciated.

Positive: The price was great! And the bed was comfortable.the man with long hair was really kind at the front desk. Negative: I got a non smoking room and it smelled like smoke. They didn¿t have enough towels in the room. We were there for 4 days and they left 2 towels, so daily we had to ask. The phone didn¿t work in the room. There was only one thin sheet on the bed.

We had a great experience here! I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the rooms were because they had renovated everything. It was a clean room and comfortable to be in there. Went to the spa at night and it was great. The breakfast was just like muffins and fruit but hey.

People were friendly and staff responsive but I gave a 3 based on two major issues. 1) They provided 1 remote even though we had a room with 2 tvs. When I inquired why, I was told that is just the way it is. You only get 1. 2) For my 9 night stay I had constant issues with channels freezing, going blank, and the tv turned off automatically several times and took several minutes to respond to the remote to turn back on. Also, my door mechanism had to be hit a few times before it would take the card. Seem like simple fixes

Stayed in a king with pullout couch for a basketball tournament. We had to switch rooms because the couch was covered with dog hair. The rooms smelled sanitized, the a/c is old school under the wall unit, king mattress was soft and slightly lumpy. The toiletries include small shampoo/conditioner combo and packaged bar soap. There wasn’t a hair dry in the room. The mini fridge was fine, microwave worked, and I didn’t try the hotel coffee. I did have to find coffee cups since all that was provided where plastic water cups. Overall, the staff was accommodating and helpful.Great place for families with kids. The pool is nice and there’s a lot of patio furniture to relax.

The day front desk was very very rude to me. However the nighttime front desk people were very polite. I have the executive king suite, the floors were very nice wood, the bed was huge and like sleeping on a cloud, and to my surprise the pull-out couch was even not horribly uncomfortable, in fact I might even say that it was slightly comfortable.

Positive: Clean modern rooms, plenty of parking, no-hassle check-in, very quiet on a Saturday night. Price was good value during this time of post-pandemic travel services gouging. Negative: No shampoo, only bar soap. Also no coffeemaker in room, but there were coffee urns downstairs with good coffee.

They had no shampoo or conditioner in the room. When we went to the front desk to get shampoo they handed it to us out of a squeeze bottle of suave. Ok maybe they just ran out....I asked and I was told the owner has kept it like this for a while. Bed was lumpy and room was clean. Also the guy at the front desk with long hair was not the most friendly.

Positive: The location. Negative: The hotel is old that needs remodel and upgrade. The room has strong moldy smell. The bed sheets have stain and the room is kinda dark and gloomy even with all lights turned on. Overall It was a disappointment. I think the hotel needs a major remodel.

Ok for the price point. Friendly and professional front desk staff. Breakfast should include option of a boiled egg or some protein. And have more fibre options, like a high fibre cold cereal or instant oatmeal. We skipped the sugar-laden muffins. La Quinta could do better with these breakfasts. A homeless drug user outside the room two doors down from us was swiftly asked to leave the property when we reported it to the front desk. Good to have both fridge and microwave oven in the room

The staff were really nice at the hotel. Airplane noise was loud because the airport was close by. There was some concern with non-hotel guests being able to walk/wander the property. The hotel location was close to the 55 freeway, and driving distance to food and other convenience stores. If youre allergic to animals be aware that guests bring their pets.

Mine and my husbands passport was in the laptop bag so they were stolen too.

Positive: Staff was great. The first night I was below the loudest people ever--constant stomping for hours and hours. Security went up to check but the noise continued, and the staff very kindly facilitated a 2 a.m. room change for me, which was so appreciated. Negative: The noise. You can hear every creak, every voice, every water on/off, all the walking outside. Bring earplugs! The water in the sink in my second room was barely a trickle. If youre a solo traveler, its really not the safest-feeling location at night.

Receptionist was not at all hospitable, no smile. Didnt feel welcomed at all.Found a dead cockroach in the room.Our room door was little broken, so they changed our room though.They were out of shampoos.Have to ask 100 times to get us towels or clean linens.

Absolutely my favorite hotel in all of Orange County! The rooms are massive, have a nice modern twist to them. Two TVs in every room - one mounted on the wall and another further back on a night stand. Theyre Samsung TVs which is awesome because I can hook up my YouTube channel to the TV and get a more personalized experience.The bed is huge and the pull out couch/bed is very big as well - have also stayed in the two bed rooms which are the same but a little more spacious. Theres a mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker! They surely give you all that you need to be comfortable and have great amenities.The bathroom is my favorite part of this hotel. La Quinta by far has the cleanest bathrooms Ive seen in a hotel and most rooms have very modern showers with sliding glass doors... Last but not least Im head over heels for the mirror and lighting in the bathroom. The light comes from the back of the mirror and truly allows you to see every pore on your body.Overall 5/5 and I will continue to use La Quinta whenever Im in the orange county area!

I was there for a class reunion and the establishment was perfect for a poolside coffee get together. Nice and clean with polite and respectful staff

There were fruit flies in our room when we checked in. The gym had no wipes, paper towels or disinfectant spray and the heating was on rather than the AC on an 80 degree day. When i asked at the front desk for wipes for the gym in was told they did not have any and was handed a wash cloth that was sprayed with a cleaner and told to use that. They shut off the water two days in a row for five hours to do repairs. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for additional supplies for our room ( we didnt have them clean our room during our stay) .

Positive: Honestly I didn¿t like anythkng Negative: I didn¿t get any sleep. The bed was hard. There was no heating so it was extremely cold all night. There was dust everywhere. The sheets were dirty, it genuinely didn¿t look like they even clean the bedding at all. The pillows were unbearably thin.

Great rooms and very clean, however, transients hang around the back parking lot and stairs or in the surrounding hotels. Even though they do not steal, its not comfortable for my fiance who is very beautiful to walk alone outside or walk our dog. First day we got there, we noticed our sheets had stains, there was hair all over our bathroom and shower. We called and asked for new sheets and towels that night, we didn’t get them. Second day we called and asked for towels again since we didn’t get them the day before. The third day we went down to the lobby and asked for towels again and told them we hadn’t received our new sheets yet and the receptionist was very rude and checked her computer saying said she hadn’t received a call that night from our room, even though we had already called twice in two days and still hadn’t received what we were asking for. I felt it shouldn’t have taken 3 calls to get our towels that we’ve been asking for for the last 3 days. All in all, the pictures make the place look great but due to lack of extremely poor service we would not recommend you stay here at all.

Hotel is a rip off had to pay 170 for half a night thought it would be for a whole day I checked in at 2 in the morning. The lady in the front was very rude she stated in order for us to have gotten the whole day I would of had to check in at 3 in order to get the whole day 😑 doesnt make any sense worse place ever.

I frequently stay at places like this due to the business Im in. Many of the websites are advertising free continental breakfast and then you get there and they blame covered for not having anything available. La Quinta was a nice surprise having just started Brown bag breakfast staying in compliance and keeping your word. All the rooms and amenities are nice and well light so is the service.

Positive: Nothing I like about this hotel except it¿s very close to the airport. Negative: Poor insulation, literally you can hear anything from outside activities and your neighbors activities. If you stay there more than 1 night, you have to request a housekeeper in advance otherwise your room will remain unclean, because of COVID-19.

My friend stayed here and got robbed. Literally, someone entered the room and stole all the electronics, passportss, and personal belongings we had in the room. We had laptops and other computer equipment. How is this possible if it was not an inside job then what? We had to call the cops and everything is under investigation, but I doubt we will get our stuff back. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

This used to be my favorite place to stay. But now I rather stay where I pay a little bit more... they have so many people drinking, and making noise, they never address the issues of getting people to be quiet especially after midnight!!! I stay there for three nights and every night people are walking around having their TVs blasting in the Next Room you can hear people talking in the Next Room laughing and drinking, while other people are sleeping its absolutely rude. It seems like these people live here and they can care less about the people who actually are traveling. Mind you I travel out here to California for business. The only reason why they get three stars is because the front office people are really nice but youre too scared to knock on peoples doors and tell him to shut up and let other people sleep. This was the first time they ever put me with a room it was on the corner of their building Ive never had such a bad experience here until this day the people always are walking around my only suggestion is never get a hotel room on their side of their building after the middle of the courtyard where it seems to be quiet and they must have civilized people who stay there. I called the front lobby at 2:55 in the morning and nobody picked up the phone and it just rang for over a minute, the people next door to me had me up 4 hours with their TV blasting laughing loud and talk to you my own and yet the front desk never called me back knowing that I called up there Im sure they had a missed call they dont even have an answering machine so you can at least leave them a message if they did step away. You guys Just lost a valued .customer.

This one is difficult because I liked the place the rooms are nice and is very reasonable pricing. The problem was the smoke protecter was beeping every 22 to 26 seconds s starting around 1am. In the morning I let them know about it and they sent someone up. A sorry for the inconvenience would have been nice, it kinda felt like I was inconveniencing them. it also sounded like the guy that came to replace the battery was blaming me under his breath for smoking, we dont smoke.

Floor was sticky when we walked in, not properly mopped. Homeless people wandering around. People smoking and drinking outside rooms.

Positive: The room with a King sized bed was spacious and aesthetically pleasing. We were pleasantly surprised. There were 2 tvs! Recommend this place. All of their staff was professional & efficient. Good location. Near a Wal-Mart& 7-11 & gas station & fast-food. Negative: The smell of drainage issues was apparent when we entered the room. The room was nice so we were able to overlook that. There was no free breakfast due to covid. There were a bunch of undesirables loitering in the parking lot late night/early morning.

There is the outdoor entrance to the room, which sucks. Then theres the interior that makes up for it, very nice. Check in was smooth and uneventful how I like it. Overall pleasant 2 day stay.

Someone opened my window partially overnight, luckily nothing was stolen most likely due to me being there! Had multiple instances where I would have random knocks on the door, and was not the only one as my friend had the same happen in a different room, after contacting front office they claimed they would look into but issues continued the following day. Did not feel safe with the amount of homeless activity in the area and would NOT RECOMMEND this la quinta location.

Been stuck in this area for a couple weeks now and have had to stay at this la Quinta a few times. I always get lucky enough to get Juan during check in, he is always so nice & accommodating. He makes the usual headache of a process quick and easy. This la Quinta has some of the nicest staff, reasonable prices and decent rooms I’ve seen in a while. One to consider if you are in the area.

Our things were stolen while staying here. First of all, the room is very poorly guarded, meaning someone could break into your room at any time and you would never know who. The only window in the room faces the hallway and it could be opened from the outside. the only thing preventing it from being opened is a tiny little thing that had to be placed and screwed in every time. They don’t even tell you that you need to lock it each time or that the window could be opened from the outside, which should never be an option. They don’t have any cameras around any of the rooms/hallways, only around the lobby. We filed a report to the police, but i doubt that they’ll call us back. The only good thing about our stay was that they ended up covering us for it since our stuff was stolen. The beds were hard and it smelled like someone smoked right before we checked in. Please save yourself the trouble and book a different hotel.

Had difficulties getting in to my room at 1:30 in the morning. Didnt get resolved until about 30 minutes later, room was dirty, tv didnt get signal, shower head sprayed out of shower, stains throughout the room,, staff wasnt friendly or helpful, got locked out of my room at 8:30 at night for 30 minutes while my kids waited outside soaked and wet as we were coming back from the beach, found a brown recluse spider in our room. Very disappointed with my stay. I had to pay for Saturday and Sunday even though I was only staying Sunday. Would not be staying here again.

I wanted to book a stay here for school this weekend but wasnt sure what their check out times were. I called the property directly a guy charlie answered me and quickly answered my questions and asked if I wanted to book. I said no thanks I would just do online though trip advisor which I was already in process of doing in my own before calling he advised me to be aware of third parties because of their cancelation policies I answered no worries I want be canceling because I am coming down there for school. His response was WHATEVER AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. I WILL NOT BE BOOKING ANY LONGER BECAUSE AFTER THAT CALL I NO LONGER FEEL WELCOMED THERE. HOW RUDE YOU ARE CHARLIE DEFINITELY NOT GOOD AT MAKING CUSTOMERS FEEL WELCOMED.

Absolutely terrible experience, lights didn’t work in the room, cigarette burns all over the table in bed, the washing and dryer machine were out of order when we got there, Wi-Fi is terrible and my asthma has been awful from some unknown mold source in the room that you can smell when you walk in. In addition many of the staff members were underwhelming at best

Great room (king bed suite) and very comfy. Staff was great because they were helpful, professional, and kind. Cons? Other than that, this room was great and we would def stay here again (but dont leave valuables in your car).

Have stayed at this hotel several times this year it is close to the airport and the places I need to go. It is a good value and friendly staff.

There was trash still all over the floor from the previous guest. There were no toiletries or coffee set out either.

LQs are hit or miss these days. It was nice they didnt charge for the dogs..the room was nice and tidy. The outside grounds could really use a cleanup. Why dog owner guests.can learn to use the easily provided bags to clean up after their pet will remain a mystery.

Clean environment and the room was nice. My only concern is the amount of vagrants in the parking lot. I stayed for 3 nights and every night and morning we someone with a multitude of purses and bags and that concerned me. Hotel is nice but security would be appreciated

Absolutely horrible. Customer service 0. Small rooms, small tv, musty, smells like cigarettes . No water for 2 days last minute notice. No extra pillows, towels, blankets. This hotel is absolutely disgusting and falsely advertised.

This area has changed a lot recently. If you can afford it, please avoid this area and go to a better place. During the stay, there was no room service unless you request it (the excuse was Covid), they advertised free breakfast which was also not offered because of Covid, 50% of the people staying in there did not look very friendly and decent, peace/sleep being disrupted by Santa Ana police that was constantly called several nights and to finish there was dog’s poop everywhere and urine in the corners and stairs.

Checked in and immediately saw a sign that says water will be shut off for 5 hours with no notice. Area is all around dirty. Everything you ask from the front desk they either don’t have or it isn’t working. Ice machine and laundry area is filled with trash. Small TVs. Santa Ana Police Gang Unit is constantly roaming around the parking lot. Water went out again without any notice.

I really liked the re-modeled rooms, and obviously there is currently no breakfast because of COVID, but the one area that could use improvement is grounds keeping. There was dog sh!t in the grass that a few inconsiderate guests didnt pick up as well as other things on the sidewalk like sauce packets and whatnot that were spilled. Other than those outside things it was a good stay.

This hotel is fantastic because it offers concessions to repeat guests! Their thoughtfulness astounds me. This is a must-try dish! Id like to visit here!

The place has really bad customer service. Be warned if you have any questions when calling on the phone, the staff member seems like she doesnt really want to be there.The rooms are dirty. There were bugs in the bathroom, and bed sheets looked like they were never cleaned. Carpet has a lot of dirt on it. During my stay there were some sketchy people hanging out in the hallway. Overall unsafe, unsanitary, and bad customer service.
