Most disrespectful establishment I’ve ever walked into!“Walked” in & was greeted promptly by an inviting young woman. She asked me what services I was looking for. I had recently come home from vacation and wanted to give a new establishment a shot. I had broke a nail yesterday, needed my longgg vacation nails cut down and reshaped for functionality, fill, new gel finish. The decision making gentleman who appears overworked and underpaid, aka manages the place, appeared to have profiled me and only thing he heard was broken nail. “We have no time for you, just to fix broken nail.” I said, “excuse me, I’d like a clean set with gel?” I’m confused. He then in front of all his clients disregards my presence as if I didn’t exist, humiliating me. Funny thing is, as a multiple business owning entrepreneur myself, I would never treat my patrons or clients which such disrespect even on my worst day with my worst enemy. I hope because I’m a minority that wasn’t the case.

Very satisfied with my experience today! Cant wait to come back. The atmosphere was chill, the staff was friendly. I never felt rushed and they were slammed with business today. I was able to explain what I liked vs what I didn’t like and was asked how the process was looking multiple times to ensure I was satisfied. Highly recommend!

I love this nail shop, Im never disappointed!! I have gone way too long between fills and never broke a nail. They are always friendly and accommodating. They gladly accept walk-ins. Its an all around great shop. I highly recommend them.

I wish this salon was in NYC! I chose this salon based on the reviews and I was not disappointed ! This place is above and beyond! The staff is extremely sweet and the atmosphere itself is wonderful! The girl who did my nails was very caring and attentive.

I had the guy and he was so nice and did a wonderful job doing my nails. 10/10 would recommend. I was very pleased with the end result and how fast he did it.

I havent received a pedicure in 10+ years, and they did a fabulous job on my first visit. We will see how long it holds up, but the place is clean, staff friendly and ambitious, and overall experience was great. There were two ladies that come in every few weeks and have been going here forever so between them and the reviews I knew it was a good place. I recommend for a spa pedicure... This place is by far the best place in rapid city. Im from California and my expectations are high! Emily always does my nails and Tommy does my moms... We have never been so impressed. I went in on august 28th with my friend to get acrylic sets. our appointments were at 1 or 1:30 and we ended up waiting for another half hour or so. i have no problem waiting because i know others had appointments before us. having the same appointment times, my friends nails were done before mine were even started. multiple people worked on little things on mine here and there, then answered phones, went and did other people’s nails while i waited. i asked for my nails to be cut shorter and the lady got up and left then someone else came to start the nails and they were too long for my liking. i tried to start conversation and they ignored me and complained about how busy the weekends were and how they didn’t want to work fridays and saturdays. it did not make me feel welcome and it felt like my nails were being rushed once they were actually started on. they kept looking around the room, took my nails out before the light went off of the nail cure machine. there were finger prints on my nails, some were bigger than others, some were slanted, and the design was not what i asked for. i was super upset about them but when they told me i could get them done the next weekend for free i was impressed with the salon until … my appointment was for 11 am and i sat and waited for an hour. the two ladies next to me were there before me and were stuck wearing the long plastic nails for a long time because they didn’t cut them yet and got up and left to help someone else. after an hour wait i decided this wasn’t the salon for me. more people came in for pedicures and manicures and i knew it would be much longer before mine were even started on. it’s sad because their website says that customer satisfaction is their number one policy and i just don’t see that being an option for this salon. completely unsatisfied and will not be going back there. however my friends nails were beautiful and way better than the original picture. Holly is amazing at what she does and she talked to my friend and i the entire time. would recommend her to anyone who decides to go here.

The nails were ok, not best quality and they are understaffed. I had a person do my nails for a bit, then go to another person, then go to another then come back to me like an hour later. I understand that it takes time to get nails done and they had other customers, but since this place requires to make an appointment, they should focus on one person at a time, so they get things done better and more consistently. Or find some other way. Also, after I came here, I read all the bad reviews and the owner basically told the customers that theyre at fault which is very rude and unprofessional. If you do not like to have such bad reviews instead of getting defensive in your response, you should actually try to improve your service, otherwise, you are going to lose even more customers and possibly run out of business. Since you asked for ways to improve, I suggest more employees, better scheduling, better quality dip powder, more friendly employees, and for the owner to learn that communication, compromise and negotiating are very important skills in customer service. For customer service jobs such as this, in order to have happy customers, you have to give them what they want or negotiate but you cannot blame the customers who are RECIEVING a service from YOU. NV nails is the best place to have your manicure and nail dip done. The costumer service is immaculate and the environment is always clean and sanitary. I have been my nails there for one year now and I have no complaints.

Ive been coming to this nail salon, never really friendly but liked my nails. My first couple times I made an appointment only to come in and they were busy with other walk in appointments. So with that I had quit making appointments. I went with my friend on her birthday, and they had nobody in when we showed but told us they had appointments so we made an appointment for another day. We show up for our appointment and they were busy with other people. They said to wait 5 minutes, so 20 minutes later we mentioned we had an appointment and again they said 5 more minutes. Never going back and never got my nails done. 😡

I came here because I wanted to get Christmas themed nails and I heard that they could do designs which is what I wanted.Tommy was the nail tech that did my nails and he did a fantastic job! I am definitely going to be getting my nails done here more often! One of the two nail salons I trust to do an amazing job. Thank you for such amazing service!

Emily did a wonderful pedicure for me. the location was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I went on a Tuesday morning right when they opened, so it wasnt busy. I purchased one of the deluxe pedicures from their menu, jelly something for $60, it included polish, soak, scrub, wax, hot stones and massage. it was worth every penny. new to the area and will definitely be returning.

I am hooked!!! After being referred by a friend( thanks Miranda!) I had my first experience with a dip manicure. It has lasted 1 month! It would probably last even longer but my nails are growing out. Everyone is professional and friendly. Environment cozy and very clean. no more Perfect 10 for me. I am here to stay.

This is by far the best and cleanest nail salon I ever went to. They use plastic liners in the foot baths, tools are sterilized and bagged like a dental office. The staff are very nice. It was a wonderful experience. I tricked my husband into going and he liked it so much he fell asleep.. awesome place.

I came here because my friend got her nails done here and they looked pretty good. Tommy did my nails. I did change my mind a few times about what I wanted to do, but it was before he even started painting the gel on my nails. When I finally decided what I would like to do (red matte nails and 2 marble) he tried multiple times to do it, he was unable to, which was fine. I finally said its okay we can do something else. Funny thing though, he did marble nails to the girl that was right next to me. I told him I wanted to take the polish off of the nails he was having trouble doing the marble on because he had 4 layers of polish on it (looked very chunky). He was clearly irritated I asked to take it off. I asked for all red matte nails and just a simple ombre on the ring finger and he said Im not doing the ombre Ill only do the all red for you. I was really disappointed.

Ive come here twice in the past few months and theyre hands down the best pedicures Ive ever had. My nails look perfect. Everyone is really friendly, welcoming, professional. The space is lovely and not tacky. They have a great selection of colors that are always fresh, not all sticky and half gone, and well organized by shades. My manicurist gave me perfect nails that are beautiful and last. Thanks!!

Great nail salon! Owner is incredibly nice and prices are really reasonable for fantastic results. He has had many years of nail experience and took the time to explain different nail shapes and polish (i.e. regular vs gel). I havent had my nails done in awhile so it was really helpful for him to show me my options. He also asked what occasion I was getting it done for and brought out various color options to choose. Needless to say I was very happy with the service and results.

I visited this place recently and was very displeased, to say the least. I wanted to have my eyebrows waxed. The young lady brought me to the room to do so. Firstly, there were brown stains on the bare cloth that I was expected to lay on while she did the wax. It could be clean but it didnt look proper. When she was done, she hastily sought to get me out of the room before I had the chance to adequately inspect the finish. There were no other customers inside, just her and the young man. I paid and even tipped out of being kind. When I got into the car, I felt an intense burning sensation where the job was done. To my dismay, my skin, where the wax was done, had been totally ripped off and was raw. To this day, I have scars where she applied then removed the wax. That must explain why she was hurriedly trying to get me out. She must have known and was being dishonest. I know that everybody is capable of making mistakes but deceit is another thing. I would not have spoken about it but I am always reminded. I was very disappointed with the service and will never visit again.Update: To the owners response on 5/17, I frankly do not accept that half-hearted apology while you are basically stating that my statements are inaccurate and clearly becoming angry in the process. How professional is that? To be very clear, it was not a mere burning sensation, the skin was pulled off, clean, with the wax. When she was finished, she told me I could look at it but before I could inspect it, she was ushering me out of the room so do not try to turn the tables and pretend that you are being unfairly evaluated. That was the impression that she gave me. I have the photos. I was the one trying to conceal the skin that was removed with makeup where it could potentially become infected. I guarantee that you are not doing me a favor by keeping the business open so if you want me to feel sorry for stating the truth, that will not happen. I pledged that I would not have another wax after that experience. Please stop being defensive and listen. It is not about the $10 plus tip, it was all about the customer service. On the other hand, the young man at the desk seemed okay. Still, you refuse to accept your part in this. I am not using this experience to make any conclusion about your overall performance but that experience was enough for me.

I called and they answered the phone right away. They told me I could walk in right away (the day before Christmas!) and the owner took care of me. I had a 2 week old shellac and when I get them off, my nail bed looks terrible. I was surprised to see how nice and healthy my nails looked after removing the shellac!!! Then, he painted my nails on a beautiful pink and I couldn’t be happier. They look gorgeous. The service was fast, kind and perfect! Highly recommended!!!

Had such a relaxing experience coming here. I walked in with my boyfriend and his best friend and got taken care of quickly and seated. The boys LOVED their hot stone pedicures and I was above and beyond impressed with who did my toes as well. The foot massage was amazing!! We will definitely be coming back.

I live in Silver City and drive all the way here to get my nails done! Its so well worth. I personally love the precise job they do on SNS/dip power nails. Im super picky and they do a great job on filing your nails to be smooth with the perfect round shape following your cuticle. Its never thick which I love! Highly recommend!

I’m a Jersey girl, so for my acrylics, my expectations are high! I have not been happy with a single nail salon in Rapid City, horridly disappointed actually- until I went to NV Nails! They do a beautiful job and although they’re more expensive than I’m used to paying NJ. (All nail salons in this area are more expensive, comes with the territory.) they do a beautiful job and the only place I will ever go to get my nails done in this city. Clean, calm, kind environment ❤️

I was in Rapid City on a business trip and desperately needed to have my nails done (on a Sunday morning no less). Saturday night I found this place and was delighted that they had online booking. Not only was I able to get an appointment at 1015am, but the owner sent me a message on Facebook acknowledging it.The place is lovely and they have an extreme focus on sanitizing their equipment and on service. I had a wonderful french gel manicure and a polish change on my toes and was delighted with both.Dont let the extreme nails on their photo scare you off. I got a very understated, business-like, short nails that look very professional.

Staff was awesome. A couple of my gel nails dried a little funny but she didnt ignore that at all. She didnt let me leave the store until my nails were perfect. It was my first time in and I was really impressed with the multitasking and customer service.

Probably the best pedicure Ive ever had! I selected this place for pedicure to get some extra pampering and it was worth the extra cost. Ive always had bad calluses and cracked heels but my technician did a great job making everything super smooth. All I need now is a nap :)

I stopped in to NV nails (in the former Mai Lee threading space), and was treated to excellent service, delicious wine, and a clean environment. My toe was cut by buffing and when I told the owner Tommy he said my shoe must be too tight. I have had my shoes for a year and not too tight. Very disappointed and wont be back.

Did an awesome job on my nails and toes

I came here because they are rated pretty well and not too far from my house. The woman doing my nails was very friendly and polite, but very rough. The entire pedicure was rough except getting my toes painted, and the massage. The massage was so light it felt like she was just applying the lotion to my legs. She only cut some of my toenails, unevenly, and left some of them longer. The color I picked was a gel in a “mermaid” collection and had to have a color under, which you can visibly see as she didn’t even paint the whole nail, and others she painted on the actual toe lol. I would never come here again, nor would I recommend this place.
