Great place, better then usual in area. This is third time I’m taking spa pedicure here and it’s awesome. Not 5 stars only because the polish was applied to my cuticles along with nails. Other than they, totally worth it, great experience!

This place is so unprofessional. I got a manicure and pedicure. My manicure was done by a professional named Taylor. She was terrible. All my nails were cut unevenly and at different angles. I had to check each and every nail and ask her to fix the issues. Note that I am never picky, but this was next level. After asking her to fix the nail, she would make it somehow worse. She did not even clean the cuticles and my nails looked worse than they did before getting the manicure.My friend had a worse experience than me. Taylor made her nails bleed when cleaning her cuticles. Frustrated, my friend asked her to stop working on her nails. She kept coming back and forcing my friend to complete the manicure. Irritated but polite, my friend said you can charge me but she does not wish to proceed. After which Taylor did not even turn up once. Simply charged my friend for the hell of a manicure.The pedicures were meh but given the experience of the manicure they felt like heaven (they were done by other professionals at the salon).After the payment, we went to give the tip to the pedicurist and did not give one to Taylor. On our way out of the salon, we saw that she went over to the pedicurists and took their tips from them.This salon is terrible, I would urge you to stay away. But if you do go, stay away from Taylor.P.S: we took an expensive manicure and pedicure pack - detox one. $$$Edit Below:Linda, the owner, reached out to me and apologized for my experience. It was my 1st time in San Mateo and I decided to stop by and get my nails done.Linda was so nice and did exactly what I wanted.This place really cares about their customers

This place is dangerous and not professional. Got my pedicure a little time ago, few weeks after I end up with a major fungal infection on my toenails. Three of my toenails are affected and my doctor said it will take up to 1 year to get healed. Please be careful and go somewhere else in a clean salon. This place doesnt provide proper sanitation and environment. Behind a lush design is hiding not clean reality!!!

Ive been a client of Lindas for almost two years now. She does a fantastic job and honestly this is the first place that the gel on my nails has lasted 2 weeks. In the very rare occasion that I chip my nail she has fixed without charge. The salon is very clean and they are taking all the necessary saftey precautions with covid. They have great color selection and the ambiance is very nice. Free street parking.

Everything was perfect, lady took her time. I love my nails but I can’t give the place a 5 stars. we are in a pandemic. I appreciate them being open. I’mA health care worker my worker myself so I understand being In the frontline but when I see the owner walking back and forth without a mask IS NOT OK. Ok maybe I thought she forgot the first time when she got there but no. The whole time she didn’t have a mask on and she had a cough. This blew my mind. Being that California, the Bay Area is on the verge of being in the purple. This was not ok. I’m sorry. I hate to be a Karen but as a healthcare worker and seeing cases after cases. This is disappointing. If you want to keep your business open follow the rules. Keep yourself safe, your staff and your customers

I cant emphasize enough how amazing this place is. Linda, the manager, goes above and beyond for her clients and I really appreciate her. She is very kind and does whatever it takes to make sure you have an amazing nail experience. She is the best nail technician I could ever ask for. Thank you so much, for a wonderful experience!!

Relaxing, beautiful job on my classic mani-pedi. Wyn went out of her way to please me and did massage with warm stones on my legs, which Ive never had before. Definitely worth the drive from SF and Ill be back.

Just had a terrific pedicure and manicure at Soleil Luna. We moved from San Mateo at the beginning of the year and I’ve yet to find anyone that works harder at giving you the best services as Kim does!For her it’s a passion to make you look and feel wonderful! Can’t say enough good things about this salon. Linda, the owner always is there to graciously welcome you, Kim is terrific and knows every trick in the book to make your nails look and last great. She always goes the extra mile to make sure my nails, cuticles and skin look and feel great. My daughter has also been there and the other girls in the salon are just as motivated to make sure your time there is worth it.My only regret is that I have to wait until my next trip back to San Mateo for this kind of service!

This is my favorite nail salon on the peninsula. Everything is very clean and the gel manis last a while. I drive like 20 minutes to come here every time! Its good to call for an appointment on the weekends, esp for more than 1 person.

Best place to get a pedicure! Peony and the owner helped me. Very friendly ladies! Each time I message for an appointment I get a reply within mins. With todays pedicure I had a glass of blush wine. Excellent service & quality!!!

Ive been to Soleil Luna Nail Spa twice now for pedicures and both were great. The employees are very friendly, and they check in with you a lot while they are doing your nails. Its $30 for a classic pedicure, and it takes about 30-40 minutes. I considered taking a photo of my toenails, but Im too embarrassed to show the rest of my feet. It looks great though! The owner has been there both times, and she is very nice.

Clean space. Friendly personnel, great service, decent prices. Definitely will be back and will bring my daughter along 😉.

This place emulates a sweatshop and the technicians are incredibly rude. It was a race against time to finish my pedicure and the second the technician finished painting my toes she shooed me out of the chair even though no one else was in the salon. I wouldnt ever come here if its hot outside, because it will be about 20 degrees hotter inside- they are so cheap they wont even use the AC. All the employees are sweating and you end up sitting in a pool of sweat by the end.

Friendly, great work

Was my 4th time here yesterday since their new ownership. They were so busy, I was asked to move from chair to chair 3 times before someone started on my manicure, spent 25 minutes waiting. The woman who did my manicure did a rushed job, never nothing to even smile. Not sure Ill be back..

Although the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the job the lady did on my nails was the worst. Never returning again!

They are very clumsy and unprofessional.
