I had a root descaling done and Amanda was awesome. She kept me informed of how the procedure was going and was highly professional and informed in her work. One of the best experiences I ever had at the dentist.

Helpful staff, great communication. Dr Lukis takes the time to explain what’s going on and what different treatment options are available. I’ve had anxiety over going to the dentist for years and I feel relaxed and we’ll cared for here.

Dr Lukis and his team are SO great. I’ve had everything from cleanings and a crown to an implant done at this office and all of the work has been perfect. Also, I don’t care how much the people in his office pick on him, his music choices are excellent. If you’re in need of high quality dental work (or you’re a Gen Xer who just appreciates listening to music of the 80’s and 90’s with a drill and some novocaine in your mouth) this is the place to go.

Had my first cleaning with Inspire yesterday. It had been well over a year since my last cleaning because of covid. I was brought back at the scheduled appointment time and was worked on right away. Everyone was super friendly and took their time, my teeth are insanely white and it was a pain free experiment. 10 / 10 I recommendUpdate Second time was just as good. They fixed a chip in my tooth with a laser too, took like 2 mins. Cleaning was fantastic

Inspire Dental is the best. Dr. Lukis is an awesome dentist. He always takes the time to answer my many questions. He makes the experience enjoyable and painless. I have many of his crowns that he does all in one visit. They have never given me any problems and are less expensive than that crowns that you have to wait weeks for. His assistant Jenessa is always there with a reassuring smile and is great at what she does. They make a fantastic dental team. Amanda does a very thorough job cleaning my teeth without the usual pain of a dental cleaning and of course Cathy in the front office is always friendly and helpful. I always feel welcome and relaxed when I visit Inspire Dental.

I went in to have some cavities filled, or at least looked at. When I went in I was rushed to a seat, rushed through some paperwork, and sat down. They took very basic x-rays, said “ok so are we drilling them or not?”. I said I would like them fixed and the staff scurried to get all the supplies ready, and the dentist told me that one was pretty deep and it could be painful, but also with the laser he uses it would be no pain. Obviously I was pretty confused, asked for clarification as to if I should - he said it was my choice but I needed to make one fast so he’d have enough time in his schedule. I said well if it won’t hurt then I’m sure I’ll be fine and went on with it. He then started and as it turns out, it was deeper than he though (after looking at it for like 3 seconds?) and it was pretty friggin painful. I asked him to stop several times and each time he would for a few seconds just to start again. It was getting pretty unbearable and I was sweating and shaking (he’s basically lasering the middle of my tooth with no numbing) and he said I could have the numbing if I wanted but I only had a few seconds left and he seemed pretty annoyed. I said to continue and then 5 seconds turned into “well more like ten” which then was actually just the first half. Not to mention when he was seeing another patient while I was there he left just to go see his tesla outside and my boyfriend overheard the father of the patient threatening to leave out of frustration. The staff was pretty grumpy (minus the dental assistant who was kind) and I was totally rushed through a pretty painful process with little explanation of what was happening. Just do your research and be prepared for a rushed experience.

Dr Lukis and his staff are wonderful! Down to earth and approachable but very professional, using latest technology for routine dental cleanings as well as cosmetic care!

Dr. Lukas is candid, knowledgeable, and technically profiicient. Ive had a few things done here and the price has been fair (using insurance). Office staff has been great also.

Excellent. I have never visited a dentist office that took the time to remove stains during a cleaning. I assumed of years of coffee abuse evidenced every time I smiled was just one of life’s way of reminding me to keep narcissism in check. Dr. Lukis was happy to take time to explain everything that was going on, so I knew where to set my expectations during an implant process. And the result exceeded my expectations in the end anyway. The best dental experience I have had in a long time! My hygienist is awesome. So gentle, but thorough! My teeth feel great! Best cleaning in town! The front desk is fantastic! My insurance was all set as soon as I walked in and they provided me with an estimate of services before I walked out! They even offered to submit a pre-authorization to my insurance before I scheduled my appointment! My second visit with Dr. Lukis for fillings was so cool. He uses a dental laser and I didnt even have to get numb!! (yes please!!) I would highly recommend Inspire Dental to anyone out there looking for a professional, but fun office!! You cant go wrong here!!

Do not go to this dentist! He charged my insurance for services he did not render which is fraud. When I was at the office he told the hygienist he didnt need to see me for an exam. then he charged my insurance saying he gave me an exam. I went to dr. Lukis for 2 years. I will find another dentist now.

I had a few very bad experiences at Inspire dental. I ultimately ended up leaving to go to a different dentist.First of all, the cleanings that I got there were PAINFULLY slow, and I got the general impression that the hygienist was inexperienced.Second, I had a terrible experience with Dr. Lukis all three times that I met with him. He has a terrible chairside manner, and I got the feeling that he saw me as nothing more than a paycheck. He told me my situation was very bad and only getting worse and that I had 8 cavities. He even went as far to insult me when I said that my insurance didnt cover fillings, and he replied oh, well, that doesnt sound like very good insurance at all.I decided to get a second opinion to see if my instincts about him were correct, and my new dentist said I had exactly three cavities, not 8. Ill be getting my dental work elsewhere from now on.

Dr. Lukis and his staff are very friendly and very competent. We are new patients to his office and they made the transition easy. Dr. Lukis explains things carefully and spends enough time with you so that you dont feel rushed. He gives you options with no pressure on how to proceed. The hygienist is very thorough and knowledgeable.We would most definitely recommend him to family and friends.

I have had a great experience with all the staff at Inspire Dental in Portland, Maine. I have had an injury to my face when kicked in the jaw years ago. Since then I have visited many dentists and denturists, but nothing compares with the professional staff at Inspire Dental. Just prior to getting an appointment with Inspire Dental to replace some dentures that were causing sore spots I had survived 3 types of skin cancer and one of the cancers caused some needed surgery in my mouth so the old dentures did not fit right anymore. Mark (denturist) worked with me to replace my dentures so a new pare fit beautifully. With the support of the staff of Inspire Dental and Marks dedication to having the dentures fit properly, it has been a great experience. My thanks to the entire staff at Inspire Dental.

Dr. Lukis did a great job on my tooth restoration, my front tooth was in rough shape and had a large crack down the the edge. In about 15 minutes Dr. Lukis and his team took care of my painful tooth and had me out the door! The process was painless and my tooth looks and feels great.I would highly recommend this office, the Inspire Dental team is great and Dr. Lukis is very knowledgeable and friendly.
