Had my appointment with my stylist Suzanna today @ Che Bangs. First time at this salon and I must say I give Che Bangs 10 stars on customer service. It is on point, they go above and beyond to make sure their customers (me) feel like they are at home and they sure spoil you! I love how clean and professional the salon looked, and how each station gives the customer privacy. My actual service was amazing as always, I left a very happy and satisfied customer! I HIGHLY recommend Che Bangs!

Tanya and her staff are wonderful. Che Bangs has a homey, welcoming feel that is absent in so many other salons. I love how the staff interact-with each other and their clients. You really do feel like family, with offered treats and beverages. I go there not just for a beautiful award-winning cut and color but to relax with a day ending laugh and conversation.

I got a haircut and trim from Sheilene. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon. Everyone was kind and welcoming and it was clean. She was very attentive to me. I left loving my hair and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a salon. They offer many different services that I will probably go back for.

I took my dog to the groomer and there is a salon right next door called Che Bangs as I needed a hair cut also I asked if they had an opening. They had an opening at 10am. The young lady that cut my hair was very pleasant and professional, Suzana was her name. I have always had a difficult time getting a half way good cut the first couple of times going to a new place. Suzana surprised me that she not only did a good job but it was one of the best ever. We talked with each other as if we had known each other for years. I enjoyed my entire experience here and would recommend this place to anyone that likes to be pampered to perfection. The owner was a nice guy. Enjoy

Tonya is excellent in coloring hair. Always dealt with brassiness at the end of 5 weeks, but not now. She really listens and finds the right hair style.

There is no place that gives a better pedi. The time and care Kimberly gives to each pedi and mani is amazing and is not found in many salons. I have been going to her for years and will not go anywhere else.

Haircut and style for short hair.Very professional, clean, friendly.

I give them a two star as they are so nice, and the other stylists were doing good work. My hair was cut dry, and so short that four months later it’s just getting to wear I wanted it cut. The stylist I had was nice, probably too new. I suggest if you go to this salon, have the owner cut your hair. There was also a stylist that did a beautiful updo. Don’t let them cut your hair dry.

As a new resident of Escondido, I began searching for a new hair salon last year. After getting a couple of bad haircuts, I found Che Bang. I have never been to any service business that seemed to care about their customers as much as this one. You are given 1st class attention, from the greeting on arrival, to the offered snacks and drinks, to the serious attention to your concerns about any of their services. They really want to make you happy.Kaleena cut my hair a little differently than normal, but it turned out better than my usual! I showed her a picture, and she listened to my concerns and preferences while making her own suggestions. She was very low key, no pressure. My color turned out better than usual, too!Service is punctual. There is plenty of free parking. Prices are reasonable, and they are a full service salon. I will definitely return.

The entire staff at Che Bangs is wonderful. Lupe usually cuts my hair and does a great job. Kaleena and the owner Tonya have also worked on my hair and they are nice, fast, and friendly. As the owner of a neighboring family business I also love to support fellow family businesses in our community.

I had an appointment at 9am and they called me to reschedule 5 minutes before my appointment. I was okay with that because the kind gentleman on the phone was able to get me in the same day at 10:30am. Unfortunately, the hairstylist who was going to work on my hair did not want to do any of the services I asked for and I provided different options and even informed her that I was okay if the outcome wasnt perfect how I showed on the photo.Regardless, she would leave and come back with a new excuse as to why it wasnt a good idea to get do the hair service today. At this point I didnt trust her with my hair anymore and I was getting irritated because I wasted my whole morning waiting just to get someone who seemed to try everything to get out of working on me. Whether this is the case or not, I felt like I was an inconvenience coming in and like I was going to waste her time. I wish I remember her name because Im sure most of them do good work judging from the reviews, which is the reason I chose this salon, but my experience was not pleasant.

The people who work here are awesome and do everything they can to make you comfortable, including providing water and soda during visits. Get the Whole Che Bangs pedicure, and you will get an exquisitely cut fruit and cracker plate made fresh on the spot. Our whole family has had haircuts, pedicures, manicures, and facials here, including for special occasions like graduations and weddings. The place is super clean and lovely to look at.

When I enter Che Bangs its plain and simply “all about me.” Wow. What, what a concept, hah? Take, for example, the following description of my typical Che Bangs’ visit: Imagine that before I even sit down, Walt Turner (Che Bangs’ Salon Service Manager & “CEO”) has already asked me, “Mr. Valois, what can I get you to drink? A glass of red or chilled white wine? Some ice or hot tea, coffee—a mimosa perhaps? By the way, can I offer you an hors d’oeuvres? Or perhaps a desert to accompany your beverage?” And before I know it, Tanya Turner (proprietor & master stylist ) always makes it a point to single me out and take the take time to walk over to my chair and great me with a genuine smile and asks, ”So hows Robert today? Hows your mother doing?… and your three children?” Actually, now that I think about it, my once-a-month Che Bangs’ appointment is the only single hour where I can completely relax; my young and quite talented stylist Jasmine knows to leave me to myself throughput the duration of the 25-30 minute massage—and this particular massage is just “to die for:” it begins with the face, where the gentle, soft, soothingly oiled hands of my stylist slowly applying, supplying, rubbing into my face sweet-smelling, aromatic oils, all surrounding. Then massage-stylist Jasmine slides her hands to the my clavicled shoulder muscles. I can almost feel the synapses in my brain fire in rapid succession, signaling my body to be calm, and I settle into to complete relaxation. Then comes the massaging of the whole upper ½ of the lower back. Finally, she finishes by returning back to my face, cheeks, then to my temples and head. Has 15 minutes past? Now comes massage service part two: steaming hot, humid towels are gently, strategically layered upon my face, piece by piece. My face becomes completely covered, only leaving room to breathe wholly through both mouth and nose. Jasmine quietly slides an ottoman underneath my feet—and replies, “be back in 15 minutes, Robert.” And I fall into a Rip VanWinkle, seemingly long, meditative slumber….Jasmine awakens me. Time now for the next phase of the Che Bangs’s men’s hair service, where as we two chat primarily about me and my life, she effortlessly cuts my hair with perfection and with attention to every detail, even trimming my eyebrows. I always walk out of Che Bangs feeling a bit resurrected and looking as if Im, “styling & profiling,” as slang lingo goes.In short, I couldnt give a higher recommendation for a hair salon for both men and women. I know the latter to be true, for the Che Bangs’ staff treat my 89-year-old mother as if shes a queen. I suggest trying Che Bangs at least once—I would guarantee with absolute certainty that, afterwards, youd never go elsewhere for your salon services.Robert Valois
