I have been searching for Krav Maga classes that I have been missing since I moved to San Diego from Chicago a couple years ago. In my search, I have gone to a few trial classes around the area but could not find the same intensity, the aggression, skills, and the same workout that I was used to getting in Chicago. I was about to give up on my search until one day I stumbled across Caliber 3 on one of my random Sunday morning searches and thought that I would check it out. I was immediately impressed with their facility, none that I am used to, not your typical neighborhood hole in the wall gym. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I could tell that they were passionate about teaching and everything that they do as they were walking me through the facility as well as giving me a history on Caliber 3, originating from Israel and how they wanted to bring their knowledge to the U.S. The instructors are the real deal, all first hand skills and teachings from former IDF. They are great teachers, accommodating to anyone that wants to learn. May you be young or old, nerd or athlete, beginner or advanced, first timer or Bruce Lee. Dont be intimidated to try, you will not regret it. You will get the workout and learn practical self-defense all at the same time.Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try

Ive participated in two of Caliber 3s events big of which were awesome and very informative. I came away with much better understanding of holster draw and situational awareness. Highly recommend them thank you guys!

Wow is this place cool it has all the hi tech training gadgets you could ever wish for. The staff is very nice and if you have any questions theyre always happy to help and teach. Just keep in mind that they are Israelis so there is a little bit of a culture shock issue between how they do things and how Americans expect things. You cant say they arent authentic

Nothing I’ve done up to this point was practical because it was for sports like softball, instead of combat training and how to protect myself. I started doing Krav Maga here several months ago and it’s challenging but everyone is so encouraging and supportive. I’m so happy I took the leap to start coming because it’s made a deeply positive impact on my life. If your looking for something different in the work out area, try Caliber 3.When you walk in you feel like your in the IDF, or Israel military training.They have classes in getting into shape work out, Krav Maga, and military style shooting. The instructors are from Israel, and are fantastic.If you want to learn what to do in a terrorist attack, this is the place.Its fun, great people, and a lot different. check it out!

I’ve been searching for a Krav Maga facility for years. Caliber has exceed every expectation. Yonathan is an outstanding instructor that is an expert in all aspects of training, defense/offense and fitness.Caliber 3 is the real deal. You have the ability to push yourself and learn real self defense. This is not a gimmicky “tough guy” gym. You learn real life scenarios and proper defense and offense.I would consider myself to be in reasonable shape and I leave each session completely wiped. Very blessed to have found this facility.

Super sick training facility. Very knowledgeable trainers and instructors. Love the vibe when I walk in. This is definitely a place to better yourself and learn how to defend yourself and other around. The IDF instructors know so much about protection and tactics. Its worth it.

This gym is north countys best kept secret. I have seen such a change in my body in the three months I have been working out here. The Combat Fitness classes are intense, challenging, yet fun. They are similar to Cross-Fit and Fit Body Boot Camp, yet a step above. The Krav Maga training is incredible. I have never felt so empowered and strong. The gym itself is new with high-end equipment. The facility is huge with lots of open space, and lots of cool details inside and out.There is also a retail store inside that sells 5.11 tactical clothes and gear. Men, women and teens will love this gym and all it has to offer.
