Car broke down and I called my Insurers Roadside Assistance; C and M picked up the job. They made me wait 90 minutes, one driver cancelled without even telling me (I had to call him), and their dispatch then (conveniently) didnt even bother to answer their phones when I was repeatedly calling. I cancelled the job and Salazar Automotive was sent, who were much more responsive, professional, and got the job done. Do not use C and M. There are clearly better service providers.

Our van needed a tow to the shop for repair. So I opened a request with State Farm. The job was assigned to C and M towing. I was a bit anxious about the timing after reading the reviews. Quoted time for arrival was about 45 minutes.The driver showed up promptly (30 minutes or so) at my house, called me once he arrived, jump started the van, moved the van out to the street and loaded it onto the flatbed tow truck.The van was dropped off at the service location quickly after that. No problems. Satisfied.

My insurance company designated this company for my road side assistance. I spent two hours in my car before I decided to give a call to see what was taking so long. The guy on the phone said you didnt answer your phone so we went on doing other jobs. Are you kidding me?! For one my phone is legit dead and Im over here trying to reserve my battery by keeping it off. The company already has the address I am at and where I am going, so I dont see what the problem is? Why would I request a service if I didnt need you to come? And what if someone was stranded in the middle of no where with no reception or a dead phone, you guys are going to go about doing other jobs in a state of emergency? Im currently waiting for my tow truck still, total of three hours combined. Good job guys for taking care of your customers and making them feel safe. This is not a reliable company.

My husband was at Target, his handicap placard must have fallen, C & M towing took our car, my husband had to go down to the office. He explained and showed proof he has a valid placard and it belonged to him and it was on the floor of our car. They charged us $300 for a simple mistake . it was on their lot less than 30 minutes and that alone cost us $95. They took advantage and were very rude. When speaking to the manager, he was even more rude.

There was a driver helping one of our parents (we are a middle school) and his parking choice wasnt very good (or legal). He very easily couldve parked in an empty spot but chose to park in a clearly marked fire lane blocking cars trying to come in the parking lot to drop off students. Please let your drivers know this is not ok. Thank you.

My 70 year old mom’s car stalled at the parking lot of a store on Christmas Eve. Liberty Mutual assigned her C and M towing who took over 2 hours in the cold dark to get to her. The first dispatcher said 30-45 mins and then when she called again they said the same thing. If only I didn’t live hundreds of miles away I’d be able to help immediately. But just like the other reviews this company can’t seem to offer basic service and probably should be put out of business for negligence and simply because they offer more problems than solutions. I’ve already made a complaint to Liberty Mutual to not use this company as its pretty obvious by the 2 star rating. And I now that I’ve read the various reviews about Farmers and State Farm using this company, clearly it’s because they are cheap so let this be a lesson to also hold your insurance company responsible for the mess. After all you’re paying and relying on the insurance company to provide you quality service too!!!

This is THE MOST DISHONEST TOW COMPANY IN THE BAY AREA. My insurance company provided this company to tow my car after an accident. I told the driver I wanted the car dropped off at the dealership I bought the car from and have done business with over 10 years. He said they might not accept the car because they might not have a body shop. I assured him the dealership had a body shop as I have been a 10 yr customer and have had body work done in this shop before. I even called the dealerships body shop BEFORE he took my car to confirm they would receive my car. The dealership said absolutely, bring it down. Tow truck driver left with my car. Drove past the dealership, took a picture of the dealership and took my car for 5 days back to his tow lot because “it didnt look like they have a body shop” my car was essentially stolen for 5 days. Now they want storage fees. HA! Had the driver did what he was asked to do my car would have been fixed and I would be back on the road. Now after 5 days the process is just beginning. FRAUDS!

My phone went dead before the guy showed up. He looked for me and he did not give up until I was in my car and able to drive it. Good to go.. I got a fellow Arab to help and he was nice and he did a good job. In and out with in minutes. Fast and good.

CARLOS saved my car. He handled every aspect of the tow in a professional and experienced manner. My Chevy Volt got stuck in the mud, our first tow driver put us in a worse situation. Carlos got us out of the the mess the other tow driver created and he did it so fast. Every move he made was well thought out and effective. He made sure my car was safe to drive before taking off. State farm assigned this company for towing my car. Currently I’ve been waiting in my car for 2.5h, and every time I called them, they always said 30-45 mins. Will change insurance company for sure.Update: took me 3 hours before the truck came. The driver was nice. Two star for him.

Terrible service! Mine is a little different from the others already published. The Mercury insurance company assigned him to help me with technical assistance. They said to wait about an hour. (it was 2 am) when we tried to contact them, they said they would be at 6: 30 am. This clearly did not suit me, and when I again (with difficulty) contacted my insurance company, it turned out that they canceled the order without telling me. Two pair of boots!

State Farm assigned them to me for tow service to a nearby tire shop. Was a little reluctant after reading the reviews. Wait time was supposed to be within 90 mins. But guess what, they rerouted someone and I was picked up in half that time. Driver was a very nice, kind person, he promptly and professionally completed the task. Thank you!

If I could give them 0 stars I would, because they don’t even deserve one star. Waited 4 hours in total for them to NOT SHOW & be rude over the phone. Incompetence at it’s finest. Don’t waste your time & just call A.W roadside service, they showed up within 20 minutes & unlocked my car in 2 minutes. C & M towing is TRASH.

Hyundai roadside service contacted them. The tow truck which is a flat bed came quickly this morningThe employee was polite and done things A+++. Maybe I happened to get their best employee because other reviews are a total opposite of the service I received.

Called AMEX roadside at 1:44 pm, quoted 60min. At 90min I called and was told they are on the way. My roadside service shows gps tracking, tow service still at base. Told multiple lies about traffic, filling up gas, more traffic, another service call etc. @ 4:20 a driver who was exceptional arrived. Was told all the drivers were at a BBQ and not working today. Ugh down right awful experience short of a great driver once dispatched.

This towing company was called by State farm to assist with a jump. This took over 2 hours to get to me and every time I would call they would add an additional 40 minutes to Estimate if arrival time and the driver was so rude. Dont use this Towing Agency.

We waited for over 2 1/2 hours and he finally arrived. He looked at the battery and said it wasn’t a battery problem and left. AAA arrived, charged the battery and sold us a new battery and had our car working in 10 min. Would never use that towing company again.

Horrible experience with this company waited 2+ hours and they never showed up very unprofessional ended up calling a different company and they showed up in less then 15 minutes. Insurance companies should drop this company as a vendor. They could care less about their insureds. I have filed a complaint with my company. I would not want anyone else to go through that. C&M Sucks!

I needed a jump start on my car. The insurance company hired these guys to assist with the jump start. The service person was very rude and unprofessional. The car seemed to start when he plugged in the jump starter. It stopped working the moment he was about to return. I went to him and requested for assistance again. He said he will drive around and come. He never showed up. I purchased a jump start kit from Walmart and jump started the car myself. I strongly urge you to avoid this company at all costs.

I would never wish the horrendous experience I had with this towing company on even my worst enemy. Many people have also had very similar experiences as me so PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS HORRIBLE TOWING COMPANY AND CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!I called Honda Care for roadside service at 9:20. After waiting 1 full hour for C & M to come, I called asking where they were and the guy said 7 miles away. I figured 7 miles wasnt too bad so I waited a little more. Another 40 minutes later, I called again and inquired and the man just hung up on me and cancelled my service. I waited on the side of a busy highway for nearly 2 hours to have this man rudely just hang up on me and cancel my service without telling me.If there was an option I would give this company 0 stars like many others who have left reviews!

Expected a 5 star rating for the service I got. Tino, who helped me out was amazing, he kept me posted on his ETA. My Chevy Bolt got completely drained, he was super patient with the situation and creative to tow the car. Next time ask for Tino.

My insurance company contacted them since my keys were locked in my car. They estimated an hour wait. Two hours later I called their hotline and they told me another 35 minutes. They were rude and dismissive during the call as well. Another hour later no update at all.Its one thing to be busy, its another to blatantly lie to customers about wait times by a factor of multiple hours.They did eventually get there and the guy who unlocked my car, George, was very apologetic and pleasant. Ill bring it up to two stars for that.

Not only does C and M Towing give false ETA’s, they also give out the most horrible service you can imagine. They can care less if someone is stranded with non safe circumstances. They act as if there doing everyone a favor when in fact there getting payed to do a job they can’t commit too. For such horrible business practice I’ll continue to escalate this at every level possible. I’ll also be filling a complaint with the BBB as well as a claim with Consumer Affairs. Just getting started with you C and M Towing.

Do not go with this company. Ive waited 2 hrs (still waiting as I write this review) and still no show. State Farms roadside assistance assigned this company to help me being locked out of my car, Ive missed over an hour of work. If I knew State Farm assigned a 1.5 star rated tow company I would have picked someone else. Sooo frustrated. And they are 7miles from where my car is.

Literally trash. I called my insurance for roadside assistance for an unlock for my girlfriend and I and was initially quoted 90 minutes which is pretty high to begin with. After waiting 90 minutes, I called for another ETA and was given another 40 minutes. The third time I called back they wanted to give us another 25 minute ETA and after that I expressed our frustration. They had the audacity to tell us that if were not able to wait the quoted amount of time then we should call another tow company. So we did. I requested a refund through my insurance and they called another company to help us out after 3 hours in the cold.If you can help it, request A.W. Roadside Service from your insurance provider. They were out there in 25 minutes and getting our door unlocked within 5.

Ok so state farm uses their services for roadside assistance. Im very upset that it so long for them to reach me. First got a txt saying that it will take about 90 min for them to reach me. Waited...and nothing yet. I called back and the dispatcher said his driver was about 35 min away. Waiting... and nothing.Waited another 10 to 15 min before i called back. Then i get a call from the gentleman saying he is near and waited for another 5 min. Overall i waited about 2.5 hrs for a simple dead battery jump. The guy was pretty chill did his job and i was out. All i got to say is that C and M towing better step up and take control for their overwhelming waiting time. And this happened on 11/15/18.

The most terrible towing company ever.My insurance GEICO assigned this company to me because I got a flat tire during driving the 101 highway. it happend at 5:00. Estimated time of arrival was 6:25pm at the beginning. But, they finally came to me at about 8:40 and they changed arrival time 3 times.I can understand why this company has this low rate.

Horrible customer service. They were hired by my insurance progressive. They gave initial estimate of 90 minutes. I saw the reviwes about long wait time so to avoid any problem called progressive and C and M many times and was ensured that driver was on the way and my wait wont be long but it was a lie. I waited for over 2.5 hrs with no sign of the truck. And only after 2.5 hrs I got a call from the driver to confirm the tow. So they didnt really dispatch any one for that long and balantly lied for hours. Avoid them at all costs.

This was my provider for a jump start for my Mazda Roadside Assistance call. I was told to expect someone within 60 minutes. After no arrival, I called and was told to expect help in 20-30 minutes. 40 minutes later and nobody had shown up. I called again and was told to expect help in 7 minutes. Help arrived 15 minutes later - 2 hours after the initial estimate of within 60 minutes. Driver was friendly enough (not sorry for the wait though) and I was jump started right away, but the repeated time estimates being half of what the wait actually was ruined my experience.

I got charged double for something that was out of my control. They never let me know about the extra charge when I first called them to come out for my car. Once already on the tow they informed me they could not tow my vehicle unless I paid another $100 on top of the $101 I intially paid. Ridiculous!

Don’t call this company, if your insurance hooks you up with this one? please say no.I called my insurance (essurance) to get help with getting my car from my parking to the Shop i told them all the details.7’ clearance, and it’s underground parking. the guy got here and said he can’t get to the parking saying it’s low, so he callled his boss, the boss said i will be billed the second time even more than my first bill because they need to send a smaller truck/ car to get my car out from the parking.1) when I called, I gave all the details- it’s underground and it has a clearance of 7’2) the clearance says 7’- why would he say it gets through the gate but it won’t gking forward? the purpose of the clearance is for you to know that only height of the stated clearance can go through? it sounds like a scam, to get more money.3) i was told i can cancel it if i don’t want to take it, but my first payment is gone already - it’s convenient. if it’s not because i waited this long and have made arrangement for the shop to accommodate me i would have just backed out!get yourself out of trouble and don’t use this company. I will call my insurance as well, to get rid of this company as part of their contacts if they still keep them then i have no problem getting new insurance somewhere.

Sure I said “caca” when car didn’t start after taking quick nap for having dilated pupils after eye exam. I had started the car and realized best to wait and took a nap. Had dead phone plugged in and charging. Woke ready to go and BAM SURPRISE NO GO FOR NO START....CACA.Through USAA Roadside Assistance the arrangement and support was arranged. It was C & M Towing.Through the web link and I knew it was evening and high demand. Waiting long was a given, but identified time 60-minutes. So, through the waiting, I checked the web link and saw status update for enroute. Received call from James 5-minutes out. He arrived, jumpack out in no time, connected, BAM the engine was purring. All in 5-minutes.In all for the situation. It was all very excellent.

My handicapped mother and I was shopping at Target and she forgot to put the handicap plaque in the window. I guess the rent a snitch from target called C And M towing and they were there in less than 20min. Because we weren’t there for that long. Well 45 minutes later we were changed $200. He said he is waving $185 for storage and after hour fee. The guy was trying to act like he was doing us a huge favor even though he saw the plaque and My mom walking with a cane. They are a bunch of heartless crooks. Karma is real.

Service person came out after 90 minutes waiting. Jump-pack broke and offered no value. Called customer service to get a service person with a functional jump pack and was instead called a liar, told me driver does not speak much English(he did just fine) and that they will only send a tow truck, not another service person. SO! Business and money goes to a different company. Too many choices to tollerate such disrespect and dysfunctional dispatchers.
