Got a haircut from Cassandra and absolutely love it!! definitely will come back another time :)
It was so random how I came across this place 2 years ago. But, I have no regrets. If you’re in town and in need of a haircut, don’t hesitant to give them a try.Ask for Cassie as your stylist. She’s definitely one of their best.
This review is long overdue. I came here about a month ago and received the best service you can get. Cassandra is very accommodating, friendly, professional, and great at what she does. Bellarmine Salon and Cassandra are highly recommended.
Been here a few times in the past for hair cuts and have always gotten good results. Also, my sisters have been here as well for trims and hair color and they are always amazed with the results. They can turn someone from boring to gorgeous in a matter of one sitting. Looks like the new management has cleaned up the place with renovation and staff. Also, fun to have someone professionally clean you up before a nice dinner date. Highly recommended establishment.
Great service but a bit pricey for mens cut - $35
Stylists here offer amazing customer service and are very detail oriented. They are highly knowledgeable and professional. All my experiences here have been positive and I highly recommend this salon. Ask for Cassandra, she does a great job with hair color.
Clean and stylish! Ray is a great stylist, very professional!
This is the best hair salon Ive ever gone to! Ive come here twice for Trisha now, and just like four years ago when I first met her, she colored and treated my hair with patience and meticulous perfectionism. When I went blonde four years ago, I also had help from Hannah, who coincidentally was a high school classmate some years back. This time around, both Trisha and Meghan were my primary stylist who lifted, colored, styled my hair. Meghan is super fun to talk to during the long hours that she and Trisha worked on my hair. Esme was also there for one of the afternoons I came in, and she did a really beautiful job of styling my hair straight after.I came here four years ago with a request for Trisha to get my hair lifted to a blonde spectrum, and was SO impressed! It looked fabulous, and I never forgot about Bellarmine Salon, even though I moved to SoCal for a couple years. I wanted to go all out with lifting/bleaching my hair--just to see what I can do with it. Before I met Trisha and all the other wonderful stylists there, I felt that my request was really bold and something most hair salons would balk at; I also worried that the blonde color would not suit me.But Trisha took up my request, and went beyond what I could have dreamed! She also told me characteristics of my hair that I didnt know, which still helps me significantly in deciding what to do about every day. She was very careful in lifting my hair to the blonde color spectrum I wanted in a way that made hair care a breeze. She also provided me with post hair care products that would help me with making sure that my hair would not be damaged. The products she gave are, of course, not free with the intensive hair coloring and lifting, but I highly recommend that anyone who gets a suggestion for a hair care product from Trisha or the other stylists there heed it. Theyre worth the price.Last month, I returned to Bellarmine Salon with a friend who also wanted to get her hair lifted and colored. This time, I wanted to get an ombre from my natural hair color to a metallic lavender, with gunmetal blue for the hairs beneath the outer layer. Legitimately crazy request for someone with dark brown Asian hair, right? We requested that Trisha be our main stylist, and when we saw her, she actually remembered who I was! We hugged, and we talked, and she still remembered what my hair was like, and got to work right away. Over the course of the afternoon, Trisha did her artistic magic on my hair, and although we couldnt get the dark brown hairs to take the really light lavender colors, Trisha asked me to come again periodically after our first session. It took a month and a lot of painstaking work on the salons part to complete. We went through a lot of phases while Trisha and Meghan patiently waited through to bleach my hair carefully--some of the colors I had between a month ago and now included ashy grayish blonde, metallic light blue, and some rose gold. Now its the clean and vibrant metallic lavender and gunmetal blue that I wanted! Its perfect! Trisha also gave me some hair care products that would ensure that the fade over the next month will be pretty as it is fun!Ill be coming back!
Came in the other month with my daughter for haircut and color. Have been trying out other places for the past several years. So glad we came here. They have excellent customer service and results were amazing. Also, the place seems to have been recently renovated.
Trish makes miracles happen! I went from a bright red box dyed hair to a beautiful blonde in just two takes. She takes her time to create her masterpieces and it turns out so good!
I got a undercut here and it was super great. It was my first time having a haircut in states, and I was one of the ebst hair cut Ive got since.Ann Lam is a real PRO. I dont know about the other hairdresser, but if it is your first time, you should definitely get your hair cut from her.여기서 투블럭 했는데 진짜 잘 잘라줬어요. 50불이긴 한데 값어치해요.
Great salon. Totally recommend Mickey who seems really passionate about his job and he is a great guy. My hair looks nice now.
Tucked away in a side street off Santana Row, Bellarmine offers excellent haircuts at a reasonable price — $50 for men. Ask for Marisa — she is especially talented and meticulous.
Thanks Trisha. I love my new hair. You are the best!
Horrible experience. Went in for keratin. Lasted for one wash. The owner was rude and arrogant. Everyone were super judgemental. Never go to this place.
The person who picks up their calls is extremely rude. They called me for an appointment reminder although I didn’t have one. I kindly called back to tell them that the person they called is not me. I wish I didn’t even try to help. What can I say🤷🏻♀️ keep losing customers with wrong numbers.
Really really bad experience. I went for perms. All I got is straight damaged hair. I had to cut my long hair short for the bad damage. I don’t recommend anyone get perms here.
Mickey was my go to stylist when I lived in the South Bay. He did a consistent job and knows how to cut difficult Asian hair. It is fairly pricey ($45) but given the location, makes sense for the cliente
The best Salon for kids!
Love it! So glad Kim managed to fit me in as a walk-in and managed to come out looking like a whole new look. Thanks!
