This unpretentious store provides the old fashioned service for all kinds of watches and jewelry repairs. It is refreshing to see that a traditional craftsmanship in action. I had my watch cleaned, band repaired and battery changed here at reasonable price. Ask George and and he can do works you need to your satisfaction. Open for business from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm weekdays.
Shopkeep charged me $50 for a dial swap. Hard to say no to an old watchmaker. Unfortunately after a 4 day turn around he scratched the new dial and offered no apologies. As if he didnt see it when he handed it to me. Had to inspect and ask. Run away -- the god awful sign should have been enough for me to know the level of craftsmanship I can expect. Psh. Waste of $100 (dial and labor).
I went there to replace the battery for my watch.+ They had the battery in stock and managed to replace it for $10- Place is a bit sketchy, and the repairman was very cold. Also, based on his dexterity, I would not go there to have a luxury item being repaired (I really thought he was going to break my watch while inserting the new battery)
Excellent service and affordable
