Quick and professional service for changing quartz watch batteries, but not very experienced with older, vintage watches. The owner attempted to set the time on a couple vintage watches I brought in by moving the hands counter-clockwise (which is something you simply do not do on older vintage watches). He also claimed it was impossible to get the accuracy I asked for (within 10 seconds delta per day), but I have seen other watch repair horologists reach with 3 seconds delta per day with the same exact model. If your movement needs an actual overhaul (or if you have a vintage watch), I would go elsewhere.

Found a drawer-full of old watches with dead batteries, missing straps, etc. Took them in, got most of them back in 15 minutes as promised, in great shape (one on back order for a crystal). Fantastic, easy, quick.

Chavez Fine Watch Repair is a bit hidden...it is located inside a department store at Fashion Valley Mall...but simply ask one of the associates where he is located. He changed the battery of my husbands watch. He was kind, quick, and had amazing prices! Do not go elsewhere before giving him a call!

This guy is so awesome!! He was able to fix my daughters old gold omega watch that was her great grandmothers and, after Macys quoted me $33 + tax to replace a battery on my watch (20 min), he was able to do it in one minute for $6! He is the coolest guy--super nice and honest and affordable.

This gentleman is a true craftsman and professional. I had been debating going in when I noticed moisture build up under the crystal of my watch and the day I decided the battery also failed. He fixed it all in under 20 minutes and explained to me the issues. Never going anywhere else again.
