Dr. Bang is the most knowledgeable dentist for all things dentistry! Shes also compassionate and kind.

I have been a patient for a few years. The location isn’t ideal for me since I live in the east bay and need to go through the city to get to the office. But, that has never deterred me from getting the best possible care in the best environment. Dr. Bang’s office is not the typical clinic, it feels homely and comfortable. The doctor herself is welcoming and always goes to great lengths to educate me. I am always aware of my options and the pros and cons of each path forward. She is a great believer in preventative and conservative dentistry – which means to take steps and precautions to prevent issues from arising in the first place and over time I’ve come to realize the importance of that as well. The doctor is also the best clinician I’ve ever been to – although I am not too sensitive, be it cleanings or anything else, I can easily tell the difference between her work and other folks I’ve been to. Because she runs a boutique practice and isn’t trying to see as many patients as possible, she spends ample time with her patients and shows them great care – this has always been really important to me.Lastly, I heard she’s opening up a small second location right off the bay bridge, which makes me super happy!! That makes my commute to much better – really looking forward to checking out the new location.

I found Dr. Bang to be very thorough, knowledgeable and someone who is committed to understanding the root cause of the problem. I live out of state and flew to visit her for a consult. I would send all my friends and family to her if I could!

It came as no surprise to me that Dr. Bang is passionate about high end dentistry and it shows in every aspect of her practice. But what I truly like is the emphasis on end to end care. She is not just interested in solving the immediate problem but invested in educating me about how to prevent problems in the future and how to take care of my overall health (nutrition, sleep, etc.) for better long term health. Sometimes you come across a doctor who has that mix of - truly cares about her patients and has great knowledge and attention to detail. I am glad to have found this facility and doctor and highly recommend it.

I started my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Bang almost 1.5 years ago and just completed it last week. I am really happy with the results and would recommend her to anyone. I learned a lot about teeth alignment, sleep, jaw tension, among other things during this time. While I started Invisalign for the same reasons as many i.e. a perfect smile - Dr. Bang did everything she could to help me improve my bite and change the orientation of my teeth so I could sleep better (expand my airway) as part of the process. I had started my Invisalign treatment with another doctor and transferred to Dr. Bang when I moved to the bay area. I really liked that her office has a 3D scanner. I didn’t have to deal with the clay that I had to bite into to create molds of teeth every few months when I visited the office. For people like me, who are more sensitive that others, Dr. Bang prescribed this buzzer device which is a game changer. It minimizes the discomfort and pain, especially when moving to the next set of liners. I want to call out that she is really responsive and promptly responded to me (which is rare). Thank you to Dr. Bang and her staff for being kind, professional, and patient through out.

This was probably the most insightful visit I’ve had with a health professional. More knowledgeable than any other dentist Ive ever seen.

This place definitely has a homey vibe. Being particularly uncomfortable in dentist offices, that was appreciated. I was welcomed with tea or water, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. I could watch Netflix during my treatment on a mounted flat screen TV which was a nice touch and took my mind off the actual procedure - helping with my anxiety. My favorite part was the warm towel at the end, felt like I was in business class in a plane. A good way to wrap up my visit. Dr. Bang is really nice and cheerful. I can tell that shes very thoughtful and an amazing clinician. She followed up with links on her website that had recipes of natural remedies to boost my immunity, important during these pandemic times. Small things like these make all the difference!

I had been experiencing constant pain and stress around my jaw accompanied with headaches forever. I visited Dr. Bang’s office for the first time for regular cleaning (am new to the bay area) based on a strong recommendation from a friend. I am usually very careful in choosing any health care providers.During my visit to Dr. Bang’s office, she immediately recognized my symptoms, and educated me about TMJ symptoms and potential treatments. She is very knowledgeable in the area. After doing additional research, which confirmed her diagnosis, I am glad that my long-term problem is being addressed. I feel better than I have in years and am also sleeping better and less stressed.I know that many of my friends suffer from similar symptoms at varying degrees of severity. I wanted to share my experience so people can learn that they do not have to live with these issues and also to call out clearly than Dr. Bang is the best possible person to help. Thank you!

Dr. Bang did an amazing job helping with my misaligned teeth, especially considering the many complications she had to deal with. She was collaborative and a coach all the way through, extremely friendly, and always went the extra mile. She was careful to explain everything end to end, very very patient, and had the highest standards - she wants to get everything right. That gave me a lot of confidence. I want to call out that her practice (depending on insurances) may be more expensive than others in the area, but it is worth it in my opinion. Aside from the overall experience, I get the sense that the doctor uses the best materials and equipment - the 3d imaging machine they used to create a model for my Invisalign was pretty cool!From the beginning I never felt rushed and or felt that they tried to upsell. The staff will give you lots of options and data - from taking a longer term view on how to maintain the best possible care to how to address immediate issues ASAP. The team is practical, focused on doing things the right way but puts the patient in the driver’s seat (which I really like).I want to call out that I had to cancel once, and ran late a second time - but the staff was super accommodating. In short, my visits are fast, educational, and cheerful. And I am really happy to finally get my Invisalign going after years of procrastination. As a bonus, streaming shows on the mounted TVs is pretty relaxing during the cleanings/treatments!

Dr Bang is such a HIGHLY intellectual dentist! I had a recent consultation with her about invisalign and the conversation was very informative and thorough, all my questions were answered. I also work in the medical field and I can honestly tell that she is one of a kind with such a very deep passion at what she does, providing the best quality care for her patients! Best dentist experience Ive had. The office is quiet and modern. The dental rooms have smart TVs and I was given a choice of any show across Netflix, HBO, etc to watch during my X-Rays and cleanings.The hygienist was calm, friendly, and careful in my cleaning, and Dr. Bang was extremely thorough in my check up. She checked elements that other dentists have never checked with me in the past. Her treatment plan is conservative and natural, avoiding unnecessary intensive procedures through preventive measures. Would definitely recommend!

I was greeted by the front office staff, they were pleasant. My wait time was very short. The dental assistant escorted me to a room. She did x-rays, photos and cleaning. She explained everything she was doing and kept the conversation going to relax my nerves. When the doctor entered she did a comprehensive examination and provided my several treatment options. Overall I was very happy.

I struggled to find a good dentist after moving to SF from Chicago, and am thrilled to say that my search is over. Incredibly friendly front desk staff who always greet me with a smile and competently handle all things billing/scheduling related. The hygienists always do a great job, leaving my pearly whites at their whitest. Dr. Bang has always steered me toward the most conservative treatment that will address my long term teeth and gum health, and I’ve come to trust her opinion without having to question if I’m just being pushed to spend money unnecessarily. One time, had an awful infection in my gums, that required a tooth extraction, and she came in during non-standard business hours because she wanted to make sure I was well cared for.You will have my business for as long as I’m in the Bay Area. Thank you for your excellent and compassionate care!Edit: I moved to LA and for certain more complicated things, will be making time to come back up to the Bay Area to see Dr. Bang and her team. Dr. Bang is gentle, informative, and efficient with her work so you always leave her office in a timely manner and feeling great about your procedure. She makes every effort to ensure you’re comfortable physically while in the chair and mentally by always communicating honestly and clearly about what she’s doing and why she’s doing it. No one likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Bang makes it as pleasant as possible.

If youre trying to find a new dentist, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bang. Ive moved around a lot and had to go to quite a few different dentists, but Dr. Bang is hands down the best one Ive ever been to.She is knowledgeable, sweet, and very thorough. I used to dread my dentist visits because I have a history of dental issues, but I actually look forward to my visits now.The clinic also has a very nice view of the city. Its quiet, clean, and relaxing. Dr. Bang is a great dentist. She always makes me feel comfortable and she is very knowledgeable about how I can maintain my dental health. This has been especially helpful after being unable to receive dental care for years before I found her. She also hires kind and personable employees.

She is an excellent dentist. She’s like the mother to dentistry. Dr. Bang is by far the best dentist I have ever come across. She has a very comprehensive and non invasive approach while providing very high quality of care. Unlike other dentists who pressured me to do things that I later found were not necessary, Dr. Bang took her time to educate me about her concerns, dental and overall health and recommended that I increased nutrition and try other non invasive options first as that might be enough to get my body to heal itself before going for a more costly and invasive procedure. I could feel the genuine concern for my overall health and did not at all feel pressured to get things done that I don’t need like other dentists I have been to.Her staff and office team are also excellent. They were very kind and professional. I drove from East Bay to see her and it was totally worth it.

Best dentist! I went to Dr. Bangs office for a cleaning and check up - everyone at the office was super punctual and profession, but still very friendly. I ended up needing a minor gum surgery and cavity filled, Dr. Bang did a very good job with the surgery and even followed to make sure I was recovering well! Really great dentist office, I highly recommend!

Dr. Hyun took the time to talk through the procedure with me and explain the chemicals being used. All round good care.

Ive been going to Dr. Bang for a little under half year and she has been so wonderful to have as a dentist. I always get a bit anxious when I go for dentist appointments, but Dr. Bang always tries to put me at ease by explaining the procedures that are going to happen and why things are important at a holistic level. She truly cares for her patients gives herself to her profession and her staff/team is always so welcoming and responsive so you really get what you pay.I initially found her while searching for dentists that do the pinhole surgery in SF. Once I had my initial consultation for the pinhole surgery, she wanted to find the root cause of the issue was instead of just treating the issue. She was able to figure out that I have a TMJ that was causing me to bite down harder on one side. Thankfully, Dr. Bang is also a TMJ specialist and was able to detail a non-invasive long term plan to correct it. Im still undergoing that treatment plan, but so far Dr. Bang has been very reassuring and knowledgeable throughout the experience even when my anxiety about the whole thing kicks in.

I had a very pleasant pain-free appointment with Dr.Chhabra and her staff today, as always. The entire experience, from the polishing, and cleaning to the consultation and plans for future care and appointments was done in their usual caring and professional way. I always like to share their expertise with everyone I know!

I have been going to Dr. Bang for a number of years. She and her staff are very professional, warm, and very good at what they do. I recommend her highly.

Not just a bad/negligent Dentist, but also a bad person. Stay away at all cost!My Experience with Dr.Bang:-I have had TMD surgery, I lost my front tooth when was about 12; they were able to save it and place it back in.-Visit 1 - Routine initial visit- full set of X-rays, cleaning- did not see Dr.Brang - no treatment plan or list of dental priorities were discussed.-Visit 2- As recommended from my first visit I needed a deep cleaning. Again, this is why it is important to meet THE TREATING DENTIST; I have had TMD surgery- which is pretty major and to any competent dentist this would have been a red flag, but since I THE DENTIST (Dr.Brang) had yet to see me her newbie Dentist was-whom didnt feel the need to be sensitive about this condition whatsoever. I had all 4 quadrants cleaned at once, no breaks.After this visit my jaw was completely misaligned, I could not close it properly, it hurt to swallow and my ears were starting to pop.-Visit 3- I FINALLY meet this mysterious Dr. Bang - makes sense because she is trying to sell me a night guard that *with a gracious 300$ discount will now only cost me 3k. She is selling me a night guard that will fix my jaw - the jaw that her newbie dentist pried open for an extended amount of time and worked on as if it were a normal jaw. I stupidly trusted her. So she began to take the molds, and I signed for the payment plan for treatment-Visits 4-on to many more ... the night guard made the condition of my jaw worse. I stopped using it especially because I ran out of my allotted 3 adjustments and I was told to get it perfect I would need more and each would cost 400-600$ each- she then recommended BOTOX injections in my jaw. I declined, and stopped communicating with her.Fast forward a year my front tooth is about to fall off - because Dr. Bang NEGLECTED TO TELL ME I HAD ROOT ABSORPTION IN IT oh, she also neglected to tell me I have degenerative joint disease in my left jaw. because that means she would have had to of referred me to specialist and I would have spent my money elsewhere on issues more pressing than a useless night guard for a jaw misalignment her newbie dentist caused.She promised to refund me for the night guard on 10/10/19, but since I used the night guard to try to keep in my front tooth from falling out momentarily as noted in my perios notes I had seen only once she claimed the device worked and went back on her word. I even dropped it off!I will be contacting the SF Dental Peer Review Board about how to appropriately file a complaint against her once I get my front tooth implant squared away.Will include a photo of the root absorption of my front tooth that she failed to tell me, the black part is where I no longer have any tooth left!She is morally and ethically the worst practitioner I have ever encountered

Every step of the process, from the reception to the doctor is beyond amazing. I can’t recommend Dr. Bang highly enough; her absolute professionalism and that of her staff, is second to none.

Dr. Bang really is the best dentist that I ever had - and Ive had some great ones, including my dentist of nearly 30 years whose practice Dr. Bang took over. She is meticulous, sensitive about the patients discomfort and she is excellent at thoroughly explaining her diagnoses and procedures. She is a thoughtful, warm human being who inspires loyalty; and so it is no surprise that she also has the best staff ever, especially her superpro hygienist, Stephanie.

I had a scheduled and confirmed appointment for 8am only to find the office closed and nobody answering the phones. I awaited until 8:37am before leaving to make it back to work.Considering how many dentists there are in San Francisco, there’s really no reason to go to one with operational errors.

Excellent job and they fit me in during an emergency - front tooth that broke over the weekend, and they did a perfect job!

I was referred to Dr Bang initially for Tmj problem and she provided a clear treatment plan and is very knowledgeable about the topic. She also found I needed some dental work done, this made me super nervous as I hate getting any work done on my teeth with all of the jaw pain I experience. She advised me that being put under general anesthesia just isn’t worth it and I am glad I took her advice she removed two wisdoms teeth and I didn’t feel a thing. She is very caring for her patients and even checked up on me the same night. I was experiencing some discomfort from the pressure on my jaw and she squeezed me in the next morning. I’m relieved that I found her as a provider as my experience showed that a good provider is hard to find. I highly recommend her. She is awesome!

Uncle warren as known to me and my sister likes to incorporate technology into the dental services. i knew at age 4 to go to a non-racist dentist. and i just had a bad experience with a psycho/sociopathic dental student who also hacked into my email address. i should have just had my rich relatives who invented the lottery systems and produced some tv shows buy me a plane ticket to see my cousins who would help my teeth out. my teeth havent been to the dentist in 4 years maybe 5 years to be cleaned. i am going to just buy the toms travel sized toothpaste. uncle warrens son my cousin uncles roberts nephew is alan chee who is a very good specialist so go. i am trying to get a google review point.
