Love this dentist office! Ive been a patient for 8+ years and even though staff has changed, everyone Ive ever encountered has been amazing. From the person who emails back with answers to my questions, to the receptionists who check me in and schedule my next appointments, the dentists, hygienists, etc -- everyone is very kind, patient, and extremely efficient. The office has taken extra protocols due to covid and my last cleaning took exactly 60 minutes and felt very thorough. Impressive!

Dr. Itani continues to show tremendous care and craftsmanship through his practice. He has helped guide me through major decisions around the longevity and aesthetics of my teeth that have concerned me for the past decade. Im nearly through the full procedure, and my smile look and feel fantastic. His staff is also extremely communicative, proactive, kind, and thoughtful. I am lucky to have found Dr. Itani and his team!

I was nervous going into my appointment because of a terrible experience a couple years ago elsewhere. However, the staff were the most welcoming and actually took the time to read my information and reference it throughout the appointment. Made the experience all the more personalized and helped me relax.During the cleaning, the team were very gentle and gave me control of the process which made the whole thing go over better than I could have imagined. I am glad that I am in their hands!

Considering my situation Itani did a great job and they are very professional. They also provided solutions to replaceing the missing teeth.If I lived closer to their office I would use Itani dentalas my regular dentist.

Just like everyone out there I get super nervous to go to a new dentist, but honestly everyone at Dr. Itani’s office was the kindest; they make you feel relaxed and they are very professional. Dr. Itani and his team are fantastic. Together, they run a very efficient practice. Dr. Itani is friendly, patient, and professional. He took the time to explain the procedure to me and help me understand the treatment plan. His staff were very helpful in breaking down estimates and working with my insurance provider. I have a pretty terrible fear of the dentist and Dr. Itani and his staff are amazing. Theyre so patient and kind. Especially the woman that works the front desk is always so nice. Also they have Nitrious Oxide to help calm my nerves. As long as I live in the Bay Area Ill use Dr. Itani.

Dr Itani and his staff have been incredible for me. I had an accident requiring emergency dental care during the height of the quarantine, and they were able to take me in that day. They provided excellent treatment - not only do I feel like my teeth are as good as new, but he has been great about explaining my prognosis and treatment plan.Dr Itani and all the other doctors and assistants Ive seen here also made me feel very well taken care of. Dental work can make me nervous but they continually checked in to make sure I was comfortable, offered to stop any time, and communicated all the steps of what they were doing during procedures. They also put an emphasis on making sure I was 100% happy with how my teeth looked and felt, and would respond immediately if I thought something didnt feel right. I have felt more at ease here than any dentists office before.The office setting and receptionists are also great, and they have been top-notch at installing safety precautions and procedures as they open back up.

Dr. Itani is an amazing talented dentist. He has been treating my family and myself since 2007.He Is extremely passionate about his work. Thorough, detail oriented, meticulous, clean, creative and most of all gentle with the procedures.Years ago, I consulted with several dentists regarding my fathers teeth treatment plan and all recommended to pull all his teeth and place a denture.Dr. Itani was the only one that had a great plan to save his teeth without getting dentures. With an innovative procedure, he placed couple of implants and built a bridge with attachments to the front teeth.That was a successful solution as It gave my father confidence to smile again and show his beautiful teeth. He could chew comfortably enjoying various foods. Thank you Dr. Itani for this fabulous transformation!I trust no one else with my teeth as I have ongoing treatments. Dr. Itani is meticulous and detail oriented especially when it comes to aesthetics, selecting colors for crowns and various styles for the implants. AMAZING experience. I was on the hunt for a new dentist after my old one billed me twice for the same procedure....5 months after the fact. Yeah. (cough cough Young Dental SF cough cough)Anyways, Itani dental was AMAZING! I had an 8AM appointment and came early to fill out my paperwork and they were there! The cleaning was SUPER thorough and done by the dentist. I had a 10AM meeting and was worried b/c their checkups normally take 2 hours (so thorough!!!) They rushed it and took so many types of pictures and did so many tests more than any dentist Ive EVER been to. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was spa like and Im actually looking forward to my appointment in 6 months! They also accommodated my meeting time and made sure I got out of the office in time for my meeting.

The doctor and the nurse are very nice and friendly! I went to clean my teeth this time. They took many pictures for my teeth and also did a deep check since this was my first time going there. The doctor also explained very detailed for my x-ray pictures. I felt no pain during the process of cleaning my teeth. The whole experience was very nice! I like it!

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Itani and his staff are friendly, professional and caring. They worked with me to make an appointment last minute and around my work schedule. I was able to send in my paperwork ahead of time and walk right into my appointment. The entire appointment took less than an hour with a consultation. I will definitely be going back to Itani Dental, I have already set up my next appointment!

Dr. Itani has been providing me dental care for close to 15 years now. I have had numerous dentists over the years. He is very good. He recently saved a crown. A previous dentists root canal caught his attention.. saw bone loss on xray.. referred me to a root canal specialist in same building. Root doc was an excellent referral. The job worked the bone is growing back.Dr. Itani helped me save money by putting a filling in that crown.. he did such a good job its undetectable to the naked eye. This is just an example if his quality of overall care. He explains things well and his staff is nice. Recommend.

The only cleaning I’ve ever had in my life that actually made me almost fall asleep was with Dr. Karin. He’s very gentle and thorough in conducting an exam and a really nice guy.

Incredible dentists who are very detailed. She spent a good 15 extra minutes making sure my bite was perfect and that I would be able to floss easily. Great service highly recommend.

Dr. Ali really came through for me. Dare I say it, but he saved my life. The day before 4th of July weekend I was laid up with the most terrible, agonizing tooth pain that I have ever felt. It was intense and getting worse - after hearing about certain horror stories about dental pain going terribly wrong - I decided to seek emergency care.I called Dr. Alis office (which was normally closed on saturdays) and explained my symptoms to the receptionist. She then patched me directly to the Dr. and after a short consultation - he told me that he would meet me at this office in a few hours.Long story short - I had to have an emergency root canal, due to a nasty infection - he went to work right away, all by himself mind you, no dental hygienist helping him at all. And he does in fact have some pretty sophisticated tools - I actually watched my entire procedure on the video screen on the ceiling. It was pretty crazy.He communicates very well and is very good at putting you at ease because he sympathizes with your discomfort. The staff is also very cool and nice. He even gave me a personal follow up phone call to see how I was holding up. Wow. Highly highly recommended.

Where do I begin? There really is too much to say about this gentleman doctor and his staff. Let me break it down:Dr. Itani the man - Dr. Itani is unlike any dentist you have been to. He is compassionate, friendly and goes out of his way for his patients. Now I pride myself in being able to read people very well and can smell a salesman in a labcoat a mile away, but Dr. Itani is a genuinely friendly man who really cared about my dental situation. Hes funny, personable and treats his staff with such respect! He and his assistant had such a friendly and effective rapport which made the work so much more comfortable, it was truly a unique and great experience.Itani Dental, the practice - Now, I hope I have conveyed how genuine and human Dr. Itani the man is, because his practice is imbued with the same exact characteristics. Every member of his staff is friendly and he treats them with complete respect. This makes for a very comfortable and friendly environment to have dental work done. Of course, all of the equipment and techniques they use are state-of-the-art.My situation: On top of having dark decay on my two front teeth, I broke a front tooth while eating nuts-- Needless to say, I looked pretty bad when I smiled. As fate would have it, a day after breaking my front tooth, I received two job offers + interviews for the following week. Now, this front tooth missing was more than terrible looking, it also made me whistle when I talked. As my first interview was on Tuesday at 11am, and it was Monday at 5pm, I got ready to beg forgiveness of my future employers and explain my run-in with the business-end of an almond; however, my mother (who swears by Dr. Itani) suggested I call Itani Dental to see if they could help. I called after their hours said they had closed, they STILL picked up the phone and a very friendly secretary even put me on the phone with the doctor. He completely understood my situation, and said he and his staff would come in EARLY the next day at 7:00 am so that my work could be done before my 11am interview. I came in, had the extensive work done and was out of the office by around 9:30am with a shining white smile. I rushed from SF to Petaluma to conduct an interview, and, icing on the cake, I got the job!I owe Dr. Itani and his staff a lot and I hope anyone that reads this will seriously consider making Dr. Itani their regular dentist-- not only are you supporting a truly friendly and out-going doctor, you are also benefiting from one of the most professional and patient-centric dental practices I have ever encountered.Thanks Dr. Itani and everyone at Itani Dental, every dental practice should look at you as a model!Kind regards,Trevor

Recommend. My family been going there for more than 5 years. Honest and great job. Great customer service. Very understanding and accommodating. They help out with figuring out your insurance and stuff and maximizing your allowance. Dr. Itani is very experienced and knowledgeable.
