CitiDent is the best dental experience I’ve ever had! The entire team is extremely friendly, and Molly and Dr. Jaselle take their time to explain everything they’re doing! I’m glad I finally found a dentist I know I can trust completely.

I absolutely adore the staff at CitiDent !!I was just about to start my family vacation in San Francisco but had a horrible toothache coming from Miami. I went straight from the airport to their office and was received with open arms. They saw me as an emergency patient and right away got to work in solving my pain.I was treated with nothing but excellent professionalism and kindness from every single staff member. The office is beautiful, their care was amazing and the overall experience was extremely positive (and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t enjoy going to the dentist). The Dr. explained absolutely everything and made sure I was always comfortable. Would definitely visit them again if I was back in the city.

CitiDent was great! I went in early February 2021. When I came in, I was greeted by a fully masked staff. I was given hand sanitizer. They also sprayed the bottom of my shoes with sanitizer in order to prevent spread of outside germs. After, I was given a verbal covid screening (did I have any symptoms, had I traveled outside of CA in 14 days, etc.) and they checked my temperature. I was quickly led to my room (no wait time was a huge plus for me!). All staff wore masks and gloves, and were taking all necessary covid precautions. Citident was super thorough in my comprehensive exam with 18 x-rays, a digital 3D model of my teeth, and an additional full set of pictures. Both the dental assistant and dentist (Dr. Gisele) answered all of my questions and went into depth on the exact condition of my teeth. Dr. Gisele gave a floss recommendation, too, which was appreciated! The interior felt very clean and safe. Dont sleep on your 6 month dental exams!!

Been going here for a few years and always have had a great experience. The staff are all super nice, they return my calls right away, and both my dentists have been professional and friendly. My office has now moved but I still keep coming here even though its farther away, I doubt I could find a better place!

I found Dr. Amini on google based on great reviews and to get a smile make over. I had spaces between my teeth and hated them. First he showed me before and after by putting tooth material between my teeth so I can see what my teeth will look like, BEFORE I committed to treatment. After he put on my final veneers he handed me a mirror and wow...I highly recommend Dr.Amini for cosmetics dental make over!

Excellent dentist -- Ive been going here for 15 years now and they have been unfailingly committed to customer experience. Every time I go back I feel like they have done some new thing or have some new technology that makes visiting the dentist easier and more pleasant.

Dr. Amini was great with my situation and took the time to educate me on all of my options. My appointments were always painless and efficient. I also felt safe in the environment - the staff had been vaccinated and lots of precautions were taken to make it as safe as an environment as possible.

Dr. Amini is a fantastic dentist. He is thorough, walks you through all the steps, is kind and constantly ensures that you are feeling comfortable. I am not the biggest fan of dental work (makes me so anxious that I used to ignore routine check ups until I had to). This was not the case with Dr. Amini. Highly recommend him.It is important to note that I went to his office during the pandemic and the measures they take to ensure you are in a safe and clean place is very impressive.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! As an emergency physician, I was extremely relieved to find the highest quality of health measures instituted here- everything from requirement for all staff to have regular covid testing, high quality operating room level HEPA filters, sanitation and temp checks/covid symptom survey on arrival, mouth rinses before exam/treatment which helps neutralize virus, as well as masks worn by all. Additionally, Dr. Amini is employing the newest technology in dentistry that I have not seen in any other dentistry office. This is the place to go for dental care, especially in the covid area. Do not hesitate to get your care here! Dr. Amini is a very knowledgable, excellent dentist and staff is super friendly and professional.

I love Dr. Amini and the team at Citident! I was there a couple weeks ago for a routine cleaning. Everyone is wearing both masks and shields. The entire place is completely spotless, but it always is so thats not new. They are really taking every precaution to ensure non of the patients or staff is exposed. What I really appreciated was they are giving out a small capsule of the tooth polish to even further minimize any exposure. I felt totally safe and comfortable visiting Citident and I missed seeing everyones smiling faces!

Visited today and was so impressed with all the safety protocols!!! Was greeted at the door and had the bottom of my shoes sprayed and then hand sanitizer and temperature checked. Everyone was super friendly and professional as always. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves. They purify the rooms with Operating Room technology throughout the day and in-between each patient. Have been a loyal patient for more than 15yrs and continue to be impressed. Highly recommend!!

I have been Citidents patient for about 15 years now -- Dr. Amini and his staff really saved my teeth when I was in college by educating me and my parents about my various problems. Its one of the biggest life events for me, to have had my smile fixed, and boost my confidence in life immeasurably.COVID Update: I expected Citident to be on top of their COVID game because they always have the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art technology, but I was still amazingly impressed by how wonderful and safe their COVID protocol was. As soon as you enter, they spray the bottom of your shoes, give you hand sanitizer and take you through temperature checks and a screening questionnaire. In addition to regular daily disinfection, they have updated air filtration and special machines that disinfect the air (Dr. Amini can explain the science behind it!). They also have these new state-of-the-art machines that create a suction space around your head, which sucks out of the air any particulate matters around your face. All staff are gloved and masked, and Dr. Amini himself was wearing two layers of face shields, in addition to goggles and masks. I was in and out in 25 minutes, and felt incredibly safe. If only other places / our country was run with the same level of care for health and safety. A giant kudos to the Citident team for the amazing work, much appreciated!

Today marks my first year anniversary with Citident and I couldn’t be happier. I have had a couple cavities taken cared off and the treatment is amazing. Consistently have absolutely amazing experiences here. I moved here about a year ago and needed a new dentist. I have some teeth that have vertical alignment issues, super crooked, tons of crowding, etc, and I’ve wanted Invisalign for years. I’ve been turned down by every dentist back home, and was recommended traditional braces any time I brought up wanting to fix my teeth.After moving out here, I wanted to give it another try with a new dentist, and I found Dr Amini. Admittedly I went to my Invisalign consultation with low expectations, but when the consultation began (after the x-rays and teeth scans), I mentioned that every other dentist I’ve seen had refused my case. Dr Amini was very honest and even helped give clearer reasoning behind why he believed those other dentists had refused, but after walking me through my Invisalign treatment outline, and even showing me ideal before & after images of my teeth post-treatment, he accepted my case.On top of this, Dr Amini and the rest of the staff at Citident are incredibly hospitable and kind. I’m not usually one who dreads dentist appointments, but I can attest to the fact that everyone at Citident tries their best to make you comfortable, and they are all incredibly quick, courteous, and professional. The tools and equipment they use in their office honestly blew my mind. Typical cleanings back home would take about 30 minutes or more, but my first cleaning at CitiDent took 5 minutes. I actually asked if we were really done with the cleaning afterwards, and was shocked that the answer was “yes”. That said, I would absolutely recommend this office, the receptionist, the hygienists, and Dr Amini - they’re all great! It’s also worth noting that Citident has some pretty solid COVID protocol in place, which also makes the office feel very clean and comfortable.

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team is very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on.The office is so clean. They use air purifiers and mask to keep you and themselves safe.

Such a great experience at Citident w Dr. Amini and the entire team. The team makes you feel incredibly safe with their COVID precautions. The dental experience in general is wonderful — They make sure to explain every step of the process to rid you of any fears or anxieties. As a preciously anxious dental patient, I cannot recommend their group more for making me feel at ease. The high-tech atmosphere is also quite cool and you know you are getting amazing results.

Great location and a very new and modern office space. Staff and doctor were all super nice too. They take pictures of all your teeth to so are able to track over time and show you specific issues. Had good brushing advise too. Overall great experience!

Its been a few years since Ive been to the dentist and was, of course, apprehensive about going back. Dr. Amini is amazing! Came to him to get a second opinion after a bad experience with a different dentist and I could not be happier! He spent 20 minutes with me over viewing my teeth and his approach for my fillings. Dr Ngo is the. absolute. best dentist I’ve ever had! I love her! ...so much so that even after moving to Washington State, I still come back to The City to see her. She is super diligent and takes the time to explain why she wants to take a certain approach with my dental care. She even explains the medical reasons. All this to say that I trust her completely and recommend her in a heartbeat!

Just had a great experience at CitiDent. From start to finish everyone I spoke with was super courteous and the on-boarding process for new patients was very easy--just a few quick digital forms. During my x rays and cleaning and subsequent treatment plan, the doctor and hygienist explained everything thoroughly and made sure I didnt have any other questions, which I really appreciated. This was certainly the most thorough dental visit I have ever had! I look forward to coming back in the future.

Dr. Giselle and Molly were both very nice and did a thorough explanation on my general oral health. I was able to pictures of my teeth which was a first and really helped with pointing out what they saw and what lead to the recommended next steps.Cleaning was painless and definitely looking forward to my next appointment!

Citident is great. Highly recommended. Very modern offices that uses the latest dental tech which makes the experience much more comfortable. Friendly staff that checks in on your comfort level and explains the producers to you in depth (if you’re interested!). Many dentists trying to make money have told me to do a crown or the oral surgery for my wisdom tooth extracted. He explained very thoroughly why he thinks I dont need one. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Amini and I just went in for a cleaning during the pandemic. Dr. Amini and everyone at Citident always go above & beyond to make you feel safe & comfortable (pandemic or not). They are taking extra measures like cleaning your shoes and giving hand sanitizer when you arrive. The rooms are fogged between patients and while youre in the room there is an air purifier running. Everyone is wearing shields, masks, gowns, & gloves to protect you & them. Employees are getting tested for covid and highly recommend patients get tested beforehand so that they can provide full dental service. I felt totally at ease and am glad I went in. Dental health is still important!

As someone who has had significant dental work done over the course of my life and moved around to have upwards of 8+ dentists over the course of my life, I would rate CitiDent, Dr. Jasselle and her staff as the best, most thorough, and most compassionate team I’ve interacted with to date. The onboarding experience was seamless (all online), and asked about concerns/worries about coming to the dentist—something that shows her team really cares. The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful (always asking if things were OK or painful). As someone new to San Francisco during Covid, they joked and welcomed me to the city, making me feel truly cared for. And they did it all with a high level of professionalism and up-to-date equipment. I can’t support recommend them enough!

I had to delay a cleaning due to Covid back in March and I was initially weary of going in once I got a message that Citident had reopened but I am sure glad I did eventually go in. I got a Covid test two days before my appointment as was required and upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile, hand sanitizer, a touchless temperature check, and a spray of my shoes with a disinfectant solution. Everyone was very kind and I felt very safe and clean during my teeth cleaning. Dont let Covid delay your visit to Citident!

Staff here are super friendly and also very proactive and preventative, since coming here my dental health has improved dramatically from both their treatment and giving me advice on how to maintain healthy gums and teeth. I can’t recommend this place enough, I loved it so much I had both dental and orthodontic work done here.

Everyone I’ve met at CitiDent has been extremely professional and courteous. I’ve come in for a cleaning and a filling so far, and both have been painless (a 10-minute painless filling??) and quick. This quickly became my go-to dentist office in SF.

She fully explains every procedure, checks in on my comfort level, and will show me what is happening via their screen/camera system. I love knowing exactly whats going on and what to expect, especially during a deep cleaning which is not particularly pleasant. The staff has always been very nice and accommodating. I love it here. Been coming for awhile but I’ve been a bad girl and hadn’t been back in a bit, came in and it was like visiting friends. I had my dog with me, the entire office was super sweet to my pup and made me feel instantly at ease, none of the guilt of not having been at the dentist for awhile. Then Dr. Amini came in and he was great! I called in for a last minute emergency appointment (thought I had a cavity, eek!) they fit me for the next day. He took the time to check where I had pain, turns out I already have fillings there. Could have very easily sent me for a costly root canal but instead advised me about a night guard while working with my hectic schedule to get a deep cleaning in the near term.If you’re looking for a dentist that is not high pressure with a chill staff that won’t guilt trip you, come to CitiDent!

I used to be a regular client of this dental office when I lived in San Francisco. Dentists and Assistants knew their trade.I recently moved back to the Valley, this time in San Jose. Going to a new Dentist involves an initial checkout and whatnot. And I just didn’t want to go through that cost and hassle. So I made a Friday appointment with this office, as they were good, and already had my information.You can already guess what happened. I showed up Friday at noon, and they’d cancelled my appointment, as I didn’t confirm with them.Time off work, drive from San Jose to San Francisco, lost time and energy. And I don’t get the sense that they appreciate how bad an experience all that is. Clearly it’s my fault for thinking it was sufficient to make and appointment and show up. Always double-check your appointments here :(

This is a terribly disorganized, non-responsive, and unprofessional place. I read Yelp reviews after moving to this area. They were so positive so I checked this out.I had my first appointment with this dentist office in Dec. 2019. Surprisingly, the dental technician and the dentist had some sort of argument during my visit (I could see them arguing in a glass reflection). Heres what they discussed. I asked the technician if its safe to take x-rays because Id rather not if its questionable, since I am pregnant. The technician assured me that it is fine. She started xrays. Then, a few minutes through, the dentist came out looking worried. She pulled the technician aside and appeared to lecture her, saying that something was wrong (this is what I saw in the glass reflection). After their little talk, they told me that they are calling off the xrays and it should not even have been started.So fast forward a few weeks. The dental office then had the audacity to send me a BILL FOR THE XRAYS! I was shocked. They billed me for the service -- the exact same service that the doctor said was unnecessary and not appropriate!So then I emailed them to ask for a correction to the bill given that the service was unnecessary. They ignored that request for about a couple months. I called the dental office today. I asked for a written copy of the resolution since my insurance company was saying I owed money. She agreed to send me an email that documented what they promised they would do to resolve this mess.A couple of hours later, I did not get any email. Before the offices closed, I called again. I was worried I wasnt getting emails and needed it to prove to my insurer that I dont owe the money and it was just a mistake. The original person I spoke to today said in an aggressive tone that I am very busy working on other things today and I will get to it. They also said if we dont get you the email today, just call us next week to follow up.My thought was: how many times do I have to keep micro managing them? First they make the pregnancy snafu. Then they make the billing error. Then they ignore me for two months. Then they promise to email me a documentation of resolution, but then do not send it. Then they say, oh just check next week with us if we dont fix it.So then I told her that prior to today, I had been asking for this to be resolved for two months, given my prior email sent to them in late December, and I was concerned that my request was not going to be addressed timely. THEN, THE WOMAN VEHEMENTLY DENIED that they had ever received any email from me two months ago. She abruptly ended the call. I thought this was comical since it was a simple thing for me to just forward to them my original email.I dont understand why the process of asking them to fix their mistake needs to be so painful.Anyway, I really felt that potential future patients should be aware of the disorganization and dis-satisfactory nature of this dental practice. The office is sexy and sleek on the surface, but its just on the surface.What good is that if they cant deliver solid patient care and good patient service? Hopefully this does not happen to others in the future.It feels really disappointing to have a place that is so beautiful in their image, but then underneath it all they seem really incapable of being organized and professional.

Have been to CitiDent a few times now since switching healthcare providers. Cannot say enough good things! They are very thorough and do a great job of checking in on me during the appointment to make sure I am comfortable and doing ok. I also really like the fact that they take the time to explain what they are doing, and why. Most dentist places just get straight to the point and leave you in the dark, but not here! Will continue to come back and would recommend to others!

I’m doing Invisalign with Dr. Cheng and it’s been going very well. My front teeth have come back a lot. I’m also using latest technology to accelerate and track my progress, I don’t think other orthodontists have those. Definitely the best orthodontist in SF!

I have been going to Citident for over eight years, and have always had great experiences. The care has been excellent, even when I had an unexpectedly complicated root canal a couple of years ago. Today, I came in for a simple procedure on the wrong day. Citident managed to fit me in and get me out in less than 30 minutes, saving what would have been a wasted trip and having to re-schedule around work. They are the best!

I was running late to my appointment so I called ahead to let them know. They were completely understanding and assured me I could keep my appointment. I got there and was still seen right away. All of the staff and dentists are so very friendly and accommodating!

Like a lot of people, I have always been petrified of the dentist, so I never actually had a dentist or practice that I went to consistently. I usually just got a cleaning here or there, but as we all know, that isn’t exactly enough if you’d like to keep all of your teeth.A friend of mine originally referred me to Citident, Jackie, who actually works for the practice. I originally scheduled what I thought was going to be just another one of my routine cleanings, but it turned out to be a little more than that. Without completely embarrassing myself, I’ll just say that I ended up needing a little more done.Dr. Amini took his time and explained everything to me in full detail. We discussed a treatment plan and he answered all of my questions thoroughly. What I appreciated the most about him was his bedside manor. I spent 8 years working in the medical field, and I know first hand how some of these practitioners can be, but he was very professional, yet laid back at the same time, and I honestly felt as though he was concerned about the health of my teeth. You can tell that he and his staff are all very educated and passionate about what they do. Everyone made me feel comfortable, and that’s the most thing I think.My initial experience was about two years ago and I’ve been a patient of Citident ever since. They make taking care of my teeth almost effortless. From their knowledge and experience to their technology and efficiency… I give them A+++’s all across the board. I refer people whenever I get the opportunity, and that’s why I took the time to write this review. Citident is the fastest dentist I’ve ever had. I love that I can pop in during a break from work and don’t have to wrry that I’ll be stuck in a waiting room for a long time, which has happened to me before. The team is friendly, efficient and fast. I recommend Citident to anyone.

Dr. Amini did a great job replacing my old crown. He explained the process thoroughly and patiently answered all my questions, even showing me the crown while while it was being made. I also like that the cost estimates split between what insurance will cover and what you need to pay out of pocket is provided up front so theres no confusion. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
