I felt that the least I could do was jump on here and write a review for the incredible service that I was provided. I am a foreign national with little knowledge on how the dental industry works over here in the US and I found myself in a situation where I required assistance with a dental issue I was facing. I was not sure who I could even go to that wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg considering I am an au pair and our monthly income would by no means allow us to afford dental work. I reached out to Dr.Jana after she was recommended to me and I could not be more thankful that she and her office were so happy and willing to provide emergency care for people in need! Great Overall experience and outcome! Dr. Jana and her team took perfect care of my autistic child under general anesthesia. We went to 9 other facilities to find someone that can treat my child with low functioning autism. 3 hour drive but worth the drive and will make it for future appointments as well. I was so impressed with her work that i have decided to become a patient along with my 3 other children. Highly recommend!

This dental practice is awesome. Theyre friendly, competent & high tech. I had a broken tooth, which Dr. Jana diagnosed as a needed extraction. Dr Eric, whose schedule is super full, scheduled the Sat of Memorial Day weekend to do my extraction (as well as handling several other patients that day). Because it was a holiday weekend, assistants were tough to get, so Dr. Jana was his assistant. I felt well cared for. I was a bit nervous about the surgery & the post op, but Dr Erics casual but professional behavior put me at ease. The tooth was the 2nd from the back on the top, so a difficult location. The extraction took about 10 mins & was pain-free. The post op was minimal, and pain free. I have to attribute that to the way the extraction was done. Also, the admin at the office is friendly and efficient. So in addition to the professionalism & competence, its a friendly, comfortable office.

I went in to see Dr. Jana last month and it was the best experience Ive ever had at the dentist! Going to the dentist is something that usually brings me a lot of anxiety but the entire staff at Open Wide made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I ended up needing to get a cavity filled and it couldnt have been a more painless process. I actually felt relaxed and comfortable during the entire process and didnt feel a thing, not even the numbing shot. I will without a doubt be going back to Open Wide for all of my dental check ups and will recommend to all my friends. Thank you for your genuine kindness and outstanding service!

The most modern professional and caring dentist I’ve ever known

AVOID AT ALL COST!THIS DENTAL PRACTICE DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!Misleading and deceptive organization. I scheduled and paid for a consultation to get adult braces. My insurance requires that this procedure is performed by an orthodontist. I was repeatedly told from Dr Jana and the receptionist that OpenWide would send me a referral to local orthodontist. I have called, emailed, left multiple messages, and after numerous attempts I have not gotten any response, call back, nor the most important part I have not received the referral. Im out the money of the consultation and I believe this shady organization doesnt want to give me the referral because they cant make any additional money off of me.UPDATE - Of course I get a call back within an hour of posting this negative review with some BS excuse that they have been out the office for a few days due to a family emergency and they will be processing my referral immediately. Well I was previously told that I would receive the referral on Thursday, April 29th one week after my initial consultation appointment. One month later, multiple voicemails left, multiple emails sent and I get nothing until I complain. Review still stands. They only responded because I forced their hand. Im done with this practice and want nothing to do with any recommended referral.

Super shady. Made an appointment for new dentures for my dad. Insurance said its covered with a copay. The day before the appointment they told me it wasnt covered and would cost over $1500. I doubled checked with insurance, its covered. They again insisted it wasnt covered and added that their material is better than what insurance covers. I asked for a breakdown and more info so they cancelled my appointment.

I found Open Wide SF online while searching for a new dentist. I went in for the extraction of 3 wisdom teeth. This was my first experience with oral surgery, so I was very nervous. The Dr. and her team did a good job of making me feel comfortable and explaining the procedure.As for the procedure, I felt very little pain afterwards an was up and on my feet that same day. Looking forward to making a full recovery, and more importantly, the constant pressure and pain in my mouth is finally gone.I recommend Open Wide SF for your dental needs!

I have to start off by saying that I hate the dentist, as do many others. The doctors over at Open Wide were so sweet and comforting. I was crying a lot during the visit and they kept making jokes to make me feel better. I had my wisdom teeth plus three others removed, and they suggested I be knocked out. Best decision ever, I dont remember anything, I remember Dr Jana saying “I’m giving you a little bit more to relax” and BOOM I was out. Dr Eric was so sweet and calming. The front desk assistants were just above and beyond. Next thing I knew I was in my bed at home with my pjs on. THANK YOU to both doctors over there. Today is day one after surgery and I am not in that much pain and my mouth feels great. They helped me so much. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING.

I stopped by for my first appointment after walking by and noticing the beautiful modern decor. I am so happy to report back that the experience exceeded expectations. I hate getting my teeth X-Rayed and would have a difficult time with the inserts used to get photos. I was blown away by the X-Ray machine and overall tech set up of this office. Full Hi Qual images in 5 minutes without having to put anything with sharp edges in my mouth!The doctor is very attentive and works fast. You can tell that this is next gen dentistry. So glad that they are just a couple blocks from home.

This place is great...miss Sabo and her stuff are great workers.they make u really comfortable and they know exactly what they do (I had a lot experiences cause in my country my Dad is a dentist)..so I completely give 5stars!!

By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to!!! Dr.Jana and Dr. Eric are such pleasant people very helpful super kind and caring. I needed a tooth extraction called around 9pm and they were able to take me in and get my tooth extracted the same night. Forever grateful I couldn’t take another day of pain . Thank you Doctors truly appreciate you!

I called there office about pain I was having and knew it was possibly to do with wisdom teeth pain. The office reception clerk, was able to check my insurance to see if it was covered or not and booked me in right away which was only two days later (Awesomeness). I ended up going in that Monday, where they discovered that it was indeed my wisdom teeth causing the pain and I needed to get them pulled or it would lead to a infection. Afterwards, Dr. Eric went ahead and look to see how much my bill will be if I wish to further on do the surgery with them. I was able to decline or accept once they ran my insurance and got the final cost. Finding out my insurance “Delta USA”, didn’t cover anything. Which I sorta expecting due to what their reception informed me. I accepted the amount and Dr. Eric scheduled me in the next morning at 8am for all 4 removal and we discussed for me not to be put to sleep.The next day arrived, I got there at 745am (Yeah I was early). They open up at 8am, which makes since I was the first patient. We went over paper work which I had to sign and accept my life too. It was around 815am, where they began numbing my mouth with local anesthesia. I didn’t feel anything, I was completely numb and alive for it all. The got each tooth out less then a couple seconds besides the last one (one I was having pain with). After, they got that one out, it took like a total of 15 minutes cause they where finished by 835am. They gave me a list of antibiotics and pain medicine I should be taking and help with pharmacy to go to if I wasn’t familiar with the area and booked a follow up appointment. Dr. Jana gave me her personal cell phone number to contact her if I needed help or had questions about anything.Passed forward 6 hours after having all 4 of them removed I was able to take out the gauze and wasn’t feeling any pain. Days following up to my follow up, I was never once in pain. And I heard day two & three are the worse. However, not once did I feel any of it through my recovery and didn’t need to take the pain medicine besides the antibiotics (which kills any bacteria). I went to my follow up two weeks later and Dr. Jana was very impressed to see how my gums have recovered since the surgery.Overall, Dr. Eric and Dr. Jana did a fantastic job removing my wisdom teeth and numbing my mouth through surgery. As well, not having any pain through out the whole removal of them. I highly recommend them if you are in the area. & Having all 4 removed wasn’t too much money to pay out of pocket. However, if you can’t afford that, they will give you a payment plan. Go check them out. You won’t regret it.

Dr jana is excellent! I had a painful tooth for a long time and I was avoiding going to the dentist because I am scared. Dr Jana not only made me feel very comfortable but also assured I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. She fixed my tooth and I did not even noticed when she numbed me. She used something called rubber dam where due to the superior isolation of the tooth, the filling lasts 5 times longer. I had zero sensitivity afterwards and I am very thankful for this experience. I would highly recommend Dr Jana to everybody who avoids going to the dentists because they are scared. No need to anymore!

Jana at Open Wide San Francisco, was marvelous after a long haul flight in pain, I arrived to her clinic and she took such great care of me. She understood I was a very nervous patient and completely reassured with her confidence and professional caring manner. She arranged a perfect crown with so little pain or delay. I would highly recommend her, will certainly have more dental work with her.

Dr. Jana is the absolute best. I had never been to Open Wide SF before, but had an emergency situation this past Sunday with my wisdom teeth. I called the office Sunday morning, which directed me to Janas cell. She answered and made moves immediately. Within two hours I was in the office with a fantastic oral surgeon, fixing the problem. The wisdom teeth extraction was so easy and painless I couldnt believe it. I chose not to go under anesthesia, however, I would trust Dr. Jana before anyone else if I needed to.I cant deny that there were some tears on my end before we started - I was quite nervous. However, both doctors were so lovely with me. They walked me through the procedure step by step, calmed me down, and made it quick and painless.To sum it up, Dr. Jana and staff were so kind and patient with me. I would refer anyone to her who needs a dentist, and will only be seeing her for my teeth from now on! To top it off, the office is sparkling clean and surprisingly trendy. THANK YOU DR. JANA!

Dr. Jana Osmolinski aka Dr. Jana Sabo is linked to an office in San Diego and Pennsylvania both were forced to shut down due to cleaning their supplies right. 2000 people in PA had to be tested for HIV. Do your research prior to seeing any dentist.
