A great experience! I was, like most people, nervous about having root canal, but the staff and Dr. Dadvand were all so reassuring. It was actually very meditative to lay there - I felt in very good hands. Everything was very clearly explained, both ahead and after, and I never felt rushed with my questions. Amazingly, after the procedure, I had zero pain that day and the days after. Oh, did I mention the views from the office are so spectacular that even reclined on the chair, I could sense the space and beauty of the SF Bay Area.

Dr Hall and her staff are consumate professionals. I’ve had lots of work done here over the years, and recently just drove all the way from Denver for replacement (and long overdue) veneers. I have the greatest confidence in her skill, and the staff is always the best!

My very first impression was WOW! I received a friendly reminder phone call by an actual person and not a machine. I was instructed to where they were located and how the room number meant what floor they were on. Next impression, I showed up a little early and the ladies at the front desk greeted me and actually called me by name, so they were truly expecting me. The office was clean and well kept. The view from the 26th floor had a calming effect on me. Dr. Hall was amazing, she was professional and very informative. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

I had an excellent visit to Designing Smiles. They were recommended by a friend and it was my first time there. It was also my first time back to the dentist since the start of the Pandemic so I was a bit nervous about how it might go. I had a great cleaning with Christina who was thorough but caring. She made me feel comfortable and well taken care of during my deep cleaning. Bonus points for being able to watch a relaxing documentary on Netflix during the cleaning. My visit with the doctor went well and we discussed future follow up visits and care. Ive tried a few different dentists in San Francisco over the last 8 years, and this is the first one that I want to go back to! I highly recommend to anyone looking for their long-term dental care in SF.

I visited designing smiles for a brief exam in regards to a VA disability claim and was pleasantly surprised by the office and staff. Dr. Hall was incredibly kind and thorough during my visit and her front office staff was both friendly and professional. The office itself sits on the top floor of the building giving an excellent view of the bay and Alcatraz. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone seeking dental care.

Love Dr Hall and team at Designing Smiles! I have been a patient for about four years -- routine cleanings and what not; I found the team and their processes very friendly and modern. Filings for example were quicker and much less scary than I recall. Recently I did Invisalign over the past year with Dr Hall, am very happy with the result. There too, much easier than I expected. Plenty of information and answers. The team was also great about moving my appointments all around during the pandemic. The last thing I wanted to do was go outside to the dentist!, but they made it easy for me and I felt safe.

The staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating. I definitely love the atmosphere. I went to get my wisdom tooth extracted and they did an excellent job making it quick and painless (as tooth extractions go). 10/10 would recommend.

Dr Hall and her staff went out of their way to accommodate my unusual and urgent need to have dental work done promptly. I needed to take an emergency trip back East to be with my gravely ill Mum who had taken a turn for the worse. They were very compassionate and understanding of the urgency I was feeling. I’m certain this caused them inconvenience but they were in good humor. They are all wonderful in that office and you can’t go wrong with your dental needs.

Went in for a root canal. Bobbie at the front desk was great. Everyone was nice. Of course it was a root canal so at the time it felt like a complete violation of my mouth, no pain just uncomfortable because it was a back molar and took over 2hrs. I feel like that is unavoidable. The most important part is that it’s now 3 days later and my mouth feels completely normal. I stopped taking ibuprofen yesterday because I wasn’t needing it and I never had to start antibiotics. This tells me that the procedure was done without any mistakes or complications. Knock on wood I haven’t jinxed myself with this review but A+ Dr. Aja Hall!

I’ve visited designing smiles twice, once for a general cleaning and the other time was for a deep cleaning. Both experiences were great, the staff are very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to dentistry. I got to watch Netflix during my deep cleaning which I thought was very cool. I also misplaced an item of mine and one of the staff members found it next to the elevator, I really appreciated that! Overall, a very solid dentist and I’ve throughly enjoyed my experiences at Designing Smiles SF.

I had the best dental experience at Designing Smiles! I knocked my front teeth out in a car accident years ago and came here because they started to ache a few days prior. The staff was so easy to work with (particularly during COVID-19 lockdown) and were very careful to keep me away from any other employees and the only other patient in the office (large office so it was safe!) Not only did they go over things with me previous dentists had missed (even though I brought them up to the other dentists, so these were existing issues), they took the time to listen to what was important to me. I have always wanted to have my teeth whitened but my teeth are very sensitive. No other dentist was willing to work with me on this, but Dr. Nguyen was willing to work with me to see what they could do! AND she figured out a good solution! On top of all of that, it was the most beautiful and comfortable office. They offered Netflix or music for me to watch/listen to while work was being done on my mouth. And when Dr. Nguyen went to clean my teeth after a thorough exam, she stopped and put petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on my lips so they wouldn’t chap. So thoughtful! I even worked in a dental office once years ago and never saw that! I can’t say enough good things about my experience here and am so glad I finally found a dental office I can trust!!

The good folks Dr. Aja Hall Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry have been taking excellent care of my choppers for well over a decade. Everything about their practice is first-rate. Their location is now wholly inconvenient for me (I moved, they didnt!) but I willingly sacrifice a large part of my day commuting round the Bay when its time to visit the dentist. When you find a medical practitioner who is as capable, consistent, conscientious, thorough, and skilled as Dr.Aja, well, you want to trust your care to them for as long as humanly possible.

Here.1) they have great reviews because they give away stuff if you can prove you left a 5* Review.2) I came after newly moving to SF and after a cleaning and exam was told I needed 8k of dental work. Eight. Thousand. Dollars. Insanity. They were saying I needed a 4 quadrant deep cleaning, 2 crowns, and 2 fillings replaced. Thank god my scam radar went off and I went to someone else for a second opinion. In reality I needed 1 tiny cavity filled. Took 10 minutes and cost $50 after insurance.These absolute crooks would’ve stolen thousands from me and traumatized me by putting me through multiple painful. Expensive and unnecessary procedures.Scrolls through the yelp reviews to the 1 star ones.. . They are all saying the same thing . Thousands in unnecessary work and a prize for a 5 star review. These people should be arrested

All my life, Ive had gum recession. I was terrified to cut the gum from the roof of my mouth. Dr. Hall let me know there was a way to do it without cutting my own tissue. The procedure was not bad at all! The pain was minimal and my recovery was pretty quick. Now, my gums looks great!

Im embarrassed to say this, but I hadnt been to the dentist in over 10 years. My gums bled a lot, so I thought itd be a good idea to visit. I had deep cleaning with laser treatment and my gums have stopped bleeding! Christina and Dr. Hall spent the time to go over how to take better care of my gums and I know Im in excellent hands.

Was playing tennis, and I had a terrible fall. I fractured my front teeth and had to go to the ER. I called Dr. Halls office and Dr. Evangelista took out my broken tooth and placed an implant at the same time. He made a fake tooth for me so I looked normal. Just got my final teeth and they look great! Thank you very much!

Not recommended, unfortunately.***Had a decent first experience here, but the practitioner was a bit condescending and didnt have the best bedside manner.Afterwards, they sent me a large bill adjustment with no warning that I didnt agree with.My coworker reported having the same experience.Now they spam call me pretty frequently.

In comes Dr. Aja Hall who is highly recommended by my friends and family. I called their office and spoke with Liezel who was very friendly, informative and accommodating to my hectic schedule. I went to their office which was easily accessible by all means of transportation and found their spotless office overlooking the gorgeous view of downtown San Francisco. During the consultation Dr. Hall assured me that Invisalign was exactly what I needed to get my straight teeth. Fast forward to today, I am 3 trays shy from completing my Invisalign treatment to get my perfect smile. I am so grateful for her and her staff’s help, friendliness and professionalism.

Just finished my Invisalign with Dr. Hall and I love my new smile! Ive never been comfortable smiling, but now I cant stop. She also fixed the chips I had and whitened my teeth, so now I look like a million bucks! If youre thinking about Invisalign, check this place out!
