I had an urgent dental need. It was a Saturday and I was leaving Town. Dr. Ho accepted me in as a first time patient and tended to my dental care to perfection. I was with my last dentist for 20 years and then he retired early 2020. I had to find a new dentist mid COVID, and I needed a cleaning, an exam, and it turned out, an extraction. I am not one to read online reviews, but I did this time and they seemed current and all so positive. I LOVE MY NEW DENTIST! Dr. Ho and team are fantastic. I feel that I am in safe and competent hands and my visits have been seamless. Oh, and that extraction I had to have? It turned out to be the simplest and least painful dental experiences I have had. So I am one very happy person!

Dr. Ho was was wonderful! He was able to help us with our dental emergency even on a Sunday where other places were closed. He was fast to respond, professional, and very nice and polite even though he had to come in on a Sunday to help my wife with her crown. I would definitely recommend for your dental needs !

Had a very good friend come to this practice and was terrified when told she had an “asymmetric lymph node”. Dentist gave her ZERO reassurance and tried to pass her off to her PCP when he couldn’t answer her questions as to her suspected “asymmetric lymph node”. Patient left being told to see her PCP with ZERO reassurance about what the dentist felt in her neck. UNACCEPTABLE. If you are going to threaten patients with scary physical findings, be able to back up your concerns and reassure them that you are there for them. Basic patient care 101. Where is your bedside manner?!

Ive been going to Dr. Ho now for over 5 years. They price fairly, do not upsell uneccessary procedures and are always professional. Ive never had any problem with any of the work performed and zero billing/insurance issues. Finally, the weekend hours are super helpful for those with a tight schedule. Dr. Ho not only works incredibly hard, but on his vacation he travels and performs dental work in other countries gratis.

Experienced lots of pain with my wisdom teeth, I called in a lot of pain and Dr Ho fitted me in that day. After seeing the xrays he found out that tooth was impacted and he said it was very important to get it out. I informed him of my fear about the dentist and he made sure I was as comfortable as possible. He talked me through the procedure and also highlighted to me how to clean the wound to ensure it healed properly. He then extracted the tooth and everything went well. My overall experience was great and I was delighted I went to Dr Ho to get my tooth out, I would 100% recommend him to anyone who like myself is afraid of the dentist ☺️

I called to make an emergency appointment due to tooth pain. I got a hold of the office immediately and was able to make an appointment for same day 2 hours later. I was seen immediately when I got there and the procedure was quick and painless. By far one of the best dental experiences I have had in a long time. I am not a person who writes reviews, but the service and follow up was exceptional. I would also like to mention his prices were affordable as I don’t have insurance and even though his office is a ways from where I live in the city seriously considering making this my dental office. I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years and was terrified of coming. Dr. Ho and his team made everything so comfortable! He clearly explained all procedures and let me know the cost with insurance before proceeding — every health provider should do this!!! Before, during, and after pictures of the work done was so transparent, I love that. Professional, friendly, and welcoming services provided. Had an appointment on August 22nd for a cleaning for the first time at this office. I had read previous reviews and asked to be scheduled with Dr. Ho. Everything was very clean when I came in and I never felt uneasy about getting sick. I was walked to a dentist chair as soon as I got in. They took a couple xrays and saw I needed an invasive filling. Being his last client for the day, Dr Ho offered to stay late and do the filling. All in all it was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I felt absolutely no pain during and after the procedure which only took 20 minutes. He also took the time to do a cosmetic filling on my chipped front tooth and get a mold for a night guard retainer. The front teeth were so indistinguishable from each other, I had a hard time remembering which one was chipped!! Truly excellent work and I’m so glad I went here! Thanks Dr. Ho!

I have been going to All Smiles for about five years. Ive been blessed with dental issues my whole life, and going to the dentist has always been a bit traumatic for me. I still remember my first visit there (I needed a full deep cleaning). I was nervous and trying to hide my anxiety. Dr. Ho was AMAZING. He has the most calming manner, he listened to all my concerns and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The staff is friendly and always remembers me. The new renovation is a bonus. I am pleased to have finally found my favorite dental practice.On my first visit I was treated like family by a very professional staff. The office is clean and very inviting.My procedure was quick and seamless.

After a poor experience following a tooth extraction I decided to find a new dentist and found All Smiles Dental/Dr. Ho. They were able to get me in asap and Dr. Ho quickly identified/removed a piece of exposed bone from the extraction site, which the previous dentist left that causing severe discomfort. Needless to say it was an all around great experience and I will be seeing Dr. Ho for any future dental needs. Thanks Dr Ho and team!

Cant honestly recommend this dental surgery enough! I rang late in the day in extreme pain due to an infection. Dr.Ho stayed late past their opening hours to make sure I got pain relief even during these difficult times.I felt at ease from the minute I walked through the door knowing that Dr.Ho was doing the best thing for me.

I could tell that everyone there was really mindful about hygiene and PPE.During the cleaning I was amazed at the attention to detail! for example… Chapstick so that you don’t get bloody cracked lips, shades so that the Lamp doesn’t blind you, and mini pictures of teeth inside your mouth in addition to your x-ray.I got a portrait of my molar that I’ve had some toothache problems in the past, and Dr. Ho called it out and he was right on. He was not aggressive about action on the molar, but told me he would monitor it during cleanings.Afterword, he followed up with me when I left them a message. I asked about which molar was, and to my surprise, he texted me which more it was! That was so kind of him! Such TLC!!!

My wife and I are from the Midwest, and we were in San Francisco for treatment at the UCSF Medical Center. During our three week stay, my wife visited Dr. Ho’s office for a standard check up and cleaning. She came back very happy with Dr. Ho and his staff. A few days later I had a veneer crack in half. On my wife’s recommendation, I contacted Dr. Ho’s office and they fit me in that same day. Dr. Ho quickly and professionally repaired the tooth. He then proceeded to generously reduce the cost for the repair by nearly two-thirds of the agreed upon quote. I was more than surprised by his act of kindness. Dr. Ho knew that I live 2,000 miles away so there was no prospect of my becoming a regular patient. I think he simply felt that it was the right thing to do, which speaks volumes. The next day he text-messaged me to make sure there were no issues, which there were not. He didn’t have to take these extra steps. But he did. Thank you Dr. Ho for taking care of my urgent dental need, and for your professionalism and generosity!

Dr. Ho is by far the best dentist Ive had!! My tooth extraction was absolutely painless. I have had super bad experiences with dentists in my past and expected a super painful process. I was terrified. However, I felt almost nothing during my extraction. Dr. Ho was extremely gentle. I expected to feel a sharp pinch when he was injecting the anesthetics into my gums, but I genuinely did not feel any pain. He got me in and out of my appointment super quickly. It was truly amazing. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Ho.

Dr Ho has always been very friendly and accommodating to our needs. My husband, who had bad dental experience when he was a child and had always been wary of dentists, is happy to go to All Smiles for his check up and cleaning. That says a lot.

Dr. Ho took me in at the end of a day on Saturday. Nice. He gave me antibiotics and an X-ray. He said that I had a deep infection and that I needed a root canal. He quoted me a price of nearly $5,000 for the root canal and restoration, far and above what Ive ever paid for this before. Whats more, after I did the antibiotic regimen I have had no problem since. I didnt need a root canal. I went to UCSF dental school, where they looked at it and also told me I didnt need a root canal. Its been a year and still no problem.

Dr. Ho and his team are fantastic. He is very skilled, gentle, intelligent, and kind. He did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, and carefully checked to make sure my mouth was healthy. He also performed my wisdom teeth extraction, which went extremely well. I was very worried about the extraction, but Dr. Ho explained everything I needed to know, and answered any questions I had. The extraction was quick and essentially painless. He is one of the best dentists I have had, and I will visit him again.

I started to experience intense pain in my tooth during work. That same night I couldnt sleep because the pain had gotten so strong. I called Dr. Hos office for the first time and left a message because the office had closed already. Dr. Ho still called me back from his personal cell within an hour and the next morning took my X-Rays immediately without an appointment. Dr. Ho, his office and his entire team are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! After a weekend of suffering from tooth pain (and a resulting massive headache) earlier this month, I ran across this office on Yelp during a search for a dentist office. I called Dr. Ho first thing Monday morning and informed him of my situation and the pain I was experiencing; I was in his office in less than an hour per his request! He checked out my tooth and set me up with an appointment to perform the necessary procedure a few days later! The endodontist (Dr. Lee?) that performed my root canal was so awesome and reassuring! He explained his way through everything, was very gentle and super patient and understanding with me. He literally restored my faith in dentistry and helped me to put aside the new fear Id obtained of dental procedures that day! (I used to love the dentist, but ended up having an unnecessarily extensive, painful, and VERY traumatic experience at another office in my old hometown that ruined that sentiment!) When I returned to the office for my crown to be placed on the tooth by Dr. Ho the next week, Dr. Ho did me the favor of checking out another tooth I was experiencing some sensitivity with once he finished. That tooth had a crown on it that was placed by a former dentist a year and a half ago. It only took him a few short minutes to fix the issue! Since then, I have had SUCH ease eating and drinking on that side! Needless to say, this dentist office is top notch and Im making it my home office! The staff is super sweet and accommodating. Dr. Ho truly listens to his patients and is always great at following up on how youre doing post-procedure! Love this office and my new dentist! Thank you so much, Dr. Ho!!!!

Several of my teeth were very bad and needed to see a dentist. I didn’t take care of my teeth very well and as a result of that, I have to see a dentist at least once a year and because of my job, I have to travel all the time, I have seen a lot of dentist, until I moved to bay area. After some research and read some reviews, I decided to see Dr. Ho. He exam all my teeth and he found some of my old filling needs to be replaced and some needed crown. He fixed, my teeth very well and after seen a lot of dentist, he is the best. He is very nice and kind. If you have pain, he would do his best to get you in his office as soon as possible to make you pain free. Money comes to him at very last, and number one to him is quality work. As I said He is the best. From now on, I have decided he is going to be my dentist forever and no matter where, I go for work, I will travel to see him no matter what, and I know some times would be expensive, but it is worth it, to travel from far away to come to see Dr. Ho. I think the people in bay area is very lucky to have him. Do not search anymore and you are in right place. Believe me.

I highly recommend Dr. Ho as your oral surgeon! He took time out of his Sunday to treat my broken teeth when no other dentist would. I had broken most of one off and caved two out of their sockets. It was impossible to sleep or eat, but while I was at the ER I was told to make an appointment for Monday because no oral surgeon would come out to operate for me on a Saturday evening. Fortunately, Dr. Ho responded to my calls right during closing hours and made an appointment for me for the morning. He patiently spent 3 hours fixing my teeth and was very careful to make sure nothing was causing me discomfort. Dont go here. They lied to me about being in network. They told me that I could pay 250 for the cheaper fillings or 600 for the better ones.I asked why its so expensive, and they told me most insurances dont cover the expensiver ones.In reality, my insurance would cover it, but again, only if youre in network. Which they lied to me about.

Dr Cuong Ho is a real lifesaver! I broke one tooth and chipped another in an accident on new years Eve, and he stayed open to see me when no other dentist in the city was willing, which was extremity important as I had an exposed root. He had my teeth replaced within an hour and was also very attentive to how much pain medication I needed. The check in desk attendant was also friendly and helpful. This is the only place Ill go to in SF anymore.

This is the best doctor I ever had on my life. About three weeks ago, I had a big infection on my mouth, the doctor drove all the way back from San Jose to San Francisco, at 9 PM just to see me, I thought that the problem was my lower left widows teeth, but I couldnt open the mouth to remove it and the doctor took a x ray right away and told me that the problem was the upper left widow teeth, I was really scare of the pain that I was going to have in order to get it extracted, he did the extraction pretty fast, I didnt feel anything at all, I couldnt believe it, at the next day, I didnt have any pain at all. Then I continue assisting with this doctor to remove my others widow teeth, and he also told me that I needed a depth cleaning, never had one on my life, and now that I got it, I feel so good, my gums are pink again, and he already removed three of my widow teeth and I didnt feel any pain at all, usually my family members got a lot of pain when they got the widows teeth removed.The prices are excellent as well, I thought it was going to be really expensive because this doctor has great reviews on every place, I made him to drive for 2 hours just to see me the first day because of my pain emergency, and it was so cheap that I just couldnt believe it :)

Dr. Ho and his staff are awesome.I had avoided dentists after a HORRIFIC experience, but I cracked a crown, knew I need a filing or two, but was super nervous to get it fixed. All Smiles was recommended to me, and it is one of the best recommendations Ive ever gotten.Lets just start with 4 things Ive NEVER experienced in my dental history, that All Smiles does:1) Dr. Ho puts sunglasses on you so you dont have to stare into that god awful light, or keep your eyes closed.2) I also have crazy dry lips, and Dr. Ho would stop to apply chapstick - how sweet is that!?3) Dr. Ho took pictures with his phone to show me the before and after side by side4) Then he followed up with me to check in the night of my procedures to make sure I was feeling okay. And sent me the pictures of my before and after fix for my reference. (bonus points for his emoji game!)I appreciate that every process is explained to you, and theyre very upfront and easily explain your insurance, and the cost breakdown.Its refreshing to find a dentist that is so patient focused, friendly, and you can tell Dr. Ho and his staff really do care about you!

Was travelling US West Coast, and accidentally knocked out a tooth while in Yosmite. Luckily, next day was travelling to San Francisco so called All Smiles on arrival and Dr Ho immediately helped by giving emergency appointment outside of ordinary working times. The whole procedure tooth less than 40 minutes, and also cost less than Id pay in London + less than I expected for an emergency appointment in the US. Not only did they fix this the same day that I found them and got me in quick, Dr. Ho pointed out aspects of my damaged tooth which my local dentist back in Los Angeles had failed to address before! (and I trust my beverly hills dentist) Dr. Ho even took the time to check in on me later that day to see if I had any pain or swelling. I came in for a tooth extraction, The tooth was broken down all the way to the gumline so I was very nervous as this wasnt going to just be a regular tooth extraction it was more of a surgical tooth extraction where they had to break the tooth into a few parts so they could take it out piece by piece. This scared the daylights out of me, But I knew it had to be done.Although I was super nervous, I knew that I was going to be in good hands because I had read all the yelp reviews of people getting tooth extractions from Dr.Ho and pretty much all not experiencing any pain swelling or discomfort.I had my appointment originally scheduled for Sunday but Dr.Ho asked if I could come in on a Friday and that he could take care of me sooner that way I would have the weekend to rest in case of any swelling. I really appreciate the fact that he offered that to me because it would have sucked to have to goto work on Monday after the extraction.Dr.Ho was aware of how nervous I was about swelling, pain and just the entire procedure in general. He instructed me to make sure to eat an hour before and take 3 advils 30 mins before comming in, which I did.During the procedure he was very gentile and really made me feel comfortable. His main priority was me being comfortable which really was appreciated. I was trembeling In the dentist chair before they starte and he was very calming and reassuring that everything was going to be ok and that I would be fine.I asked how long would it take Cus I was so nervous, he said he should be done by 4 oclock. (30mins) he then asked me if I had any earphones and I could put one of my earphones in and listen to music to relax me during the procedure. He told me to leave one earphone out so that way he could talk to me during the procedure and make sure that it was comfortable throughout the whole process.He was so right I did not feel anything I barely even felt the needles when he injected me with the numbing stuff, and I feel like such a baby for being so scared for nothing.The timing was also impeccable as I sat up from the chair and looked at the computer the clock was at 4 oclock. He wrote me a prescription for pain medication in case I experienced any pain the following day. He also gave me a home care instruction on how to take care of the socket after an extraction. He even text me later on to see how I was doing, told me to check in with him later that night . This man is absolutely amazing he is a blessing I am so happy that I have found him as my dentist someone who is passionate about what they do and truly wants to help people.It has now been about 24 hours since the extraction and I have experienced no discomfort pain or swelling whatsoever. Im as happy as can be
