They ruined two of my shirts. Took one out of the bag, damaged buttons. Took the other out of the bag, damaged buttons. I went back in there to discuss when picking up/dropping off. My assumption was that since it was obvious the damage was done during cleaning (smashed down metal snaps on an unworn, freshly cleaned shirt) that it would just be a discussion about fixing it or whatever. I wasnt even going to complain about the inconvenient of unpacking the shirt on a trip to find it ruined...I was sympathetic that things happen. I was super nice about it, but the lady rudely interrupted me as I was showing her the buttons to claim that they cant do anything about it. Then she told me it wasnt possible that they caused the damage to the buttons. Then she told me that there was nothing she could do because the owners are out of town. Then I lost my temper, and once I started shouting she told me they have insurance for this, so when a shirt gets ruined they can replace it. Im not sure its worth even following up with them because it isnt worth the cost of a new shirt to try and repair a relationship with a business who disrespects a long time customer. Im sure running a dry cleaners isnt easy, and they are very inexpensive in what they charge but there is no point if they are going to ruin my shirts and blame it on me.Needless to say I did not drop off any more shirts today. Theres an old saying in Tennessee — I know its in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me....you cant get fooled again.
The experience started with a misunderstanding of when the items would be ready by so I wasnt able to have it for my trip. When I did receive the items, several shirts had stains which werent removed, and two shirts had buttons which were badly damaged (seems like it corroded after the dry cleaning). They did replace buttons eventually but overall this place lacked any decency in customer service and offered subpar quality/accountability.
Second time Ive showed up after stated opening hour (8am) and no ones there ate 8:10a. A waste of my time...
