I got these bell bottoms from free people but they were unbelievably too long for me. Young’s cleaners not only hemmed them to the perfect length but they also miraculously retained the bottom details of the jeans which I’m so happy about. I highly recommend this tailor!

Youngs has been a reliable cleaner and tailor for us for at least 8 years. Reasonable prices and consistently fast turnaround. Shop is a bit awkward for fittings. I wouldnt take a fine garment for major alteration or repair but great for simple alterations, stitching a tear or replacing a broken zipper

I have been coming here for years. They have the best prices Ive seen in San Francisco for good quality work. I appreciate how they are honest about what is and isnt possible up front, even if it means they would make more money by just taking the extra work.

The staff is amazing! They are fair priced and very fast. I had a large patch I needed sewn on in time for an event, and the staff was able to get it done on time and for far less than I imagined the cost to be! I now have a go to alteration place.

Have been getting jeans and trousers alterations done here and everytime its been extremely well done. Also had a scratched/torn jeans which they fixed perfectly! Definitely a great place to get alterations and dry cleaning done

Handed in shirts. The shirts had still stains on them that another dry cleaner removed easily and even worse, the chemicals werent removed from the shirts so they itched all day. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Young’s and Alterations did an awesome job with my alterations!! The seamstress did a great job tailoring my blazers and suits (fitted). They tappered them exactly to my liking. And the new owner is awesome as well. Despite any opposition that you have read, Mei is a great and experienced business owner. She goes out her way to ensure all orders are tended to via meeting your expectations. Ive never used Youngs for dry cleaning but I have come here numerous times for alternations. They are affordable and fast, plus they do exactly what I need them to do. I came in once with a cotton dress that had rips in the sleeves and asked if the dress could be salvaged. The lady working there had me try it on and started pinning things up. They were able to turn it into a sleeveless dress that looked like new!

L drive miles to get my alterations done there. Well worth the drive! Friendly staff, perfect alterations, quick and cheap. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

While I was visiting San Francisco Miguel altered 3 dresses for me and he did such a good job. He altered 3 dresses for me,- 2 with very complicated alterations that required a tailoring sensibility. He was very accommodating, kind, and did an incredible job. He also took only a day turn around to do. If I lived in San Fran I would be his regular customer. Thanks again Miguel!

Great place and super fast. I got a bridesmaid dress (with lots of fabric, darting, and layers of chiffon) taken in at the waist. They did it in a week for $50.

First place I’ve been to that hems pants as nicely as the original, from-the-store hem.

Terrible service. I’ve sent a dress for alteration and got back with black oily stains all over it. They refused to admit to have anything to do with the stains and refused to cover the dry clean. And one woman said: if our service doesn’t please you feel free to go somewhere else. The experience was horrifying.
