This artistic attraction is one of the best-kept secrets in SF. It’s actually a home (of Greg Angelo, he actually lives there) turned into a studio, workshop, and “museum.” It’s tugged away from the busy SF downtown, away from all the popular touristy places, and it’s in the middle of the residential area near Balboa Park. We attended one of the out-door experiences (i.e. Riddle of the Sphinx) they’ve created during the pandemic for visitors during the re-opening phases of SF, and it was wow,… amazing! Especially considering that this is something they’ve put together in a matter of few months (1 year tops, since they build this by transforming the garden areas of GregAngelo’s home during the lockdown). I’m not going to say much more about the experience b/c I don’t want to ruin the surprise for you. But if they could put out something like this in a year, I’m definitely going back to see the interior of GregAngelo’s home (which they built out over the past 30+ years) when the pandemic is behind us.We love it our first experience so much that we went back again to see the Metamorphosis experience. Again we left wanting to see more. Here are quite a bit of photos already, but we really dont want to ruin the surprise for you. So you should go and experience it yourself. We are definite looking forward to get a tour of GregAngelos home.

The most well kept secret in SF! Attended many experiences at the Gregangelo Museum over the last 5 years and all of them are spellbinding and jawdroppingly impressive. Not only do they showcase a variety of art forms from really passionate talented artists, they are also deeply meaningful, introspective and transformative! Do yourself a favor and attend one of their experiences. You will discover that you feel freer, lighter, more joyful and hopeful after!

Me and my husband join the Riddle of the Sphinx last Saturday. And I am still playing the word game we did at the tour after that. Our tour guy Gregangelo himself is a wonder, the tour he and his artist design bring you to a fairytale to your childhood to an imaginary world and to the universe. You have to contribute part of yourself in order to pass to next step. And every step wow you. Never know theres a place like Alice in Wonderland and more in our neighborhood until GOOGLE pop a picture.We cant wait to join the other tour Metamorphosis and will come back and for the home museum reopened.

You know when you consider the implication of the conditions that precipitate change. It’s hard, normally your surrounded by fear and confusion yours another’s we experience forced change throughout our lives. Normally I mean your not expecting much when you go to a show I mean you expect to be entertained but what is that really when considering what is much. To be given the ability to recollect purpose peace and meaning in the midst of a change or transition from that night from that show is something that will stick with me for all my life I mean yeah of course. Will I ever forget Metamorphosis? I can comfortably say I won’t and feel the same comfort in the knowledge of my ability to better handle my sense of self in the midst of that chaos.

This was a beautiful place. The art is exquisite and each piece has a story. We did the Riddle of the Sphynx tour with our family. The art was intertwined beautifully into the tale they spun for us, a journey from birth to afterlife transcendence. The host, Marcelo, was kind and was able to guide us through the riddles and each step of the journey. We were not expecting to leave with a lighter heart, but the spiritual component was so strong that we felt refreshed and renewed when we left. This is a cultural jewel and a must see.

Incredible show with so many things to see and experience.

Fascinating experience to challenge all of your being. I loved it and went solo. The work that went into creating the house and curating the questions is phenomenal. Worth the money for sure, and a highlight of San Francisco. Also, the most beautiful toilet Ive ever laid eyes on. I will never forget this part of my trip.

This was amazing. Please go see it and help keep it going. So much work and effort. You can honestly tell it is a labor of love.

Gregangelos Velocity Arts & Circus is truly magical. Beyond the incredible visuals youll enjoy visiting here, the Velocity Family you meet throughout the tour just has the biggest collective heart youll find anywhere in the Bay Area (and beyond).

I have experienced two of the special events at Greganglos Museum and Show. ITS AMAZING. Nothing like you will ever experience, complete creative amazement. Bravo !!!!! My kids want to go every week !

Its hard to express in words the beauty and inspiration that this Museum and home holds. During the tour we learned that its taken almost four decades to build and craft each detail, stone and sparkle.We were lucky enough to have the creator give us the tour and we were all blown away.This is a must-see for a world traveler. After visiting Spain, I can say that this gives Dali a run for his money.

I honestly couldnt describe this experience to anyone, you must see it to believe it. The impact this place had on me and my friends was beyond life changing. Greg asks the right questions to get everyone in the group to open up and reflect on your respective propose as you move from room to room. Im so inspired by him and or other guide, Chris and I will definitely be back when Im in SF again. Please go visit, you will not regret it!

This is an amazing place to experience. The house is so full of color, light, art, and surprises. I think you could spend a week in there and not get bored. It is a great experience to share with others; both friends and strangers. I would highly recommend this to all who seek a reprieve from their daily routine. The museum space will give you a chance to be transported body and soul, if only for a short while. I had an amazing time and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Greg!

This experience was beyond our expectations. My wife and I attended the “museum”, but museum certainly might define this experience on the first level, only to lead you to a skyscraper of perspectives. You leave enlightened.

I was dazzled by the amazing mosaics, both inside and out. Sort of visual overload...but in a good way. Our guide was terrific, and if you need a little nudge to get in back in touch with your creative self and/or remember what matters in life, take a tour. It’s fun. It’s unique. It’s San Francisco quirky. 👍

Amazing story, Amazing Customs, Amazing Act and Amazing everything that you must visit.

This is a magical place full of art, color, life, and mystery! You could walk by it every day and not know it was here, but if you live in the bay you really should get in here and have a tour. So much time and so many hard working artists have put their touch onto every bit of this house. Its difficult to describe, art covers the floors, ceilings, walls, and furniture. Theres no other place like it!

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting the Gregangelo Museum on our trip to San Francisco. This truly captivating experience was hands-down my favorite part of the trip.The museum itself is astounding; one could visit 100 times and still make new discoveries. The entirety of the space is covered in art - from the front porch to the bathroom - and absolutely all of it is a spectacle.The tour is unlike any museum tour Ive ever taken. My husband and I opted to take the Labyrinth Tour, and I believe this is the best way to experience the museum. Having the second half of the tour really rounds out and completes the experience, and it brings the lessons of the Gregangelo full circle. This tour helped me to reset and to remind myself of my place among humanity. At the heart and soul of the museum is connection, and it is the perfect way to reconnect back to ones goals, dreams, and spirit.Chris, our guide, provided a phenomenal tour of the museum, and he was incredibly talented and effective in his way of weaving our values and personalities into the art and then mirroring those things back to us. He provided some excellent existential questions to us, and we left learning as much about ourselves as we learned about the museum.We had the pleasure of meeting Gregangelo himself while taking our tour. He is absolutely brilliant, and he wears his passion for art on his sleeve. His hospitality was amazing, and he was eager to help us find the artist within all of ourselves.This experience is definitely a must-see for anyone visiting San Francisco. Come in with an open mind and a thirst for self-discovery, and leave your social inhibitions at the door.
