Shakopee Vet Clinic always goes above and beyond to give care to my dogs. All 3 of my dogs have anxiety and protective instincts. The whole team always does an excellent job to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible.

I had to wait a bit but the lobby area was clean and welcoming. The front desk staff was very accommodating and kind. And then I met my vet and I LOVED her! So honest and kind and loving to my dog. I know my Sunny was smiling as much as I as we walked out the door.

Absolutely love this clinic! I couldn’t be any happier with the care and service from everyone at the clinic. I can’t recommend them enough.The veterinarian does a follow up call the next day after an ER visit. I’ve been to several vet clinics and this is the first one that has done a follow up call. It really shows how much they care about you and your pet and that they do actually read the reports sent over by the emergency vet.

My 10 month old kitten ate a sleeve of hair ties and began to vomit them up. They were able to to preform ER surgery that day. I was able to pay half down and make payments on the rest. They took wonderful care of him.They also see my older cat too. I love this place for my pets needs

I’ve been bringing my dog to the Shakopee Veterinary Clinic since he was a puppy. A few years ago I moved about 40 minutes away but still don’t hesitate on keeping my animal under their care. Every experience I have had has been exceptional and professional. The doctors take time to answer questions and have always been so kind! I could not say enough great things!

Every person I spoke with was wonderful!!!! I drove 30 min just to go to this clinic. My mom recommended it.:) Was so worth it, I drove back a week later for vaccines. My cat was never stressed or upset. Fair and clear pricing. Truly fantastic.

My family has been taking our 4-legged fur babies to SVC since 2000. I thought it was a great place then. But since the original Vet retired and the changing of ownership, seeing the team come together full of caring and compassionate people has been amazing. I loved taking our little corgi here! They were quick, great explanations and suggestions, and our puppy loved all the staff. I felt well informed and very comfortable bringing him here. I plan on this vet being the place we always go for Peanuts care.

From the second the Doctor called on the phone to review my sweet pup’s care I knew this clinic was the perfect one to care for our girl. We moved to the area about a year ago. Before we had need to establish a regular vet for our dog, he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home. We called Shakopee Vet Clinic, needing guidance on what to do with his body. The staff was SO kind and respectful during this very difficult situation. We were able to take him to the clinic, and they helped us greatly - and were so gentle with everything.When we got a new puppy recently we knew we wanted to go to them for our long-term veterinary care. We had our first visit recently, and I was SO impressed. Everyone was so kind, respectful, and thorough - especially considering the COVID outbreak. We are so thankful to have Shakopee Veterinary Clinic, and look forward to working with them for years to come.

Weve taken our pet to Shakopee Veterinary Clinic on Marystown Road since we move here 42 years ago. The practice changed hands several years ago but the care has not changed. I wondered what they would do during the pandemic and I think they have developed an excellent system. Call them when you arrive and they call you when you can leave your pet hooked to a ring in the vestibule, clinic staff takes the pet in for treatment or exam, you return to your car to wait for them to finish, clinic staff calls you with the bill, you pay, and they return you pet. By the time you get to you car the vet calls you and explains the treatment or exam. Its a very simple process. In my view that is a very good process. The only problem for someone like me that is interested in construction, is that I dont get to see the inside of their new building and how that works. As soon as this dreadful pandemic is over I expect to do that. I do know that my car seat was much more comfortable than the bench in their old building. One thing has not changed, they didnt change the care they have always given and that is important to me.

We have been coming to Shakopee Vet since moving to the area 20+ years ago. Initially there was a different veterinarian (guy) who was not all that personable. We stayed on and eventually the practice was bought out by the current vets.It has become a wonderful experience bringing our dog here. I like a place that gives you information but doesnt pressure or make you feel like you have to do something. Gives you the price and thats that.I didnt fill out good value as its not just this place but.... caring for a dog is expensive no matter where you take them. we have considered getting another one but honestly cannot afford it. this is the way of things I guess.

I have been bringing my dogs here since I moved to the Shakopee area 13 years ago. They are amazing. Typically animals are fearful of the vet. My dog goes in wagging her tail which says a lot. They are always very open and honest. I’ve had to call them emergently and they were able to see my dog. I highly recommend them.

Everything was great! It was our first time there and everyone was very pleasant and nice, we were well informed after our kittens exam and the protocol for keeping everyone safe was well done.

No vet follow up like they said, prices depending upon who you talk to, and changes. Wouldnt be back. When 2 cats have surgery & youre told youll get a vet follow up call and dont its sad. 3 weeks now and not 1 person called to even check on them. We were given a different price every time we called & then another when we arrived. Told there were cameras to watch the pets at night & then at drop off they said, no they didnt have cameras. One employee doesnt know what the other is saying and vice versa. No consistency with anything. Well be driving a bit further, but better care at Mission Vet clinic and hospital.

I love their new facility! It has a large waiting room area and cute decor. The staff here is always very friendly and has a lot of patience with my active puppy. He feels very comfortable in their care. So glad I found a nice, reliable vet near home!

I have been going there for almost 10 years with my dogs Crosby and Geno. They have great customer service, facility is very clean and they can usually get you in last minute if needed. The staff is very caring towards your pets needs. They will check in a couple days after visit to make sure your pet is doing okay. (Geno loves his treats he gets at the front desk after his visit) A+ all around!

Their receptionists are so rude its incredible. Theyre rude and cruel when it comes to rescued and stray animals. I believe she refferred to my beloved kitten as just another stray when in fact my kitten isnt just another stray. Shes changed my heart and my life. And she was a rescue so they just make assumptions too. They also judge you on where you live. So if you dont live in the wealthy areas of Shakopee the receptionists will definitely judge you.

Everyone at this clinic is so pleasant and caring. They did a wellness check on our cat while I waited in the car, then the Vet called me and gave me a report. Their prices are so reasonable.

Amazing experience. My dog has severe fear agression and they accommodated him just like any other pet. They treated him with such compassion! They also were able to squeeze me in to a slot with short notice to get him up to date and medicine before staying with family even when they were booked out 3 weeks! Couldnt be happier with our experience. Especially coming from a less than stellar place previously. Highly recommend!

I continue to bring the animals I love to this clinic and have for about 45 years. Dr. Kelso was wonderful and I am so very happy with the fabulous vets who bought the clinic when he retired. Dr. Anne Spanish is the best vet I have ever had for my animals and I now drive an hour one way to keep them in her care. She and her partners are the best you will ever find and I constantly recommend this clinic to my friends, family and people I meet. Top Notch care!!!

Everyone at Shakopee Veterinary Clinic is amazing, theyve always fit us in whenever weve called. They did everything they could to help our lab and most of the staff was with us in the room when we put him to sleep because they loved him like we did. I highly recommend every at the clinic as they all are very professional and they care about your pets as if they were they were their own. I still bring my other dog there and will continue to bring all future pets there as well.

Everyone, from the ladies at the front desk, the assistants and technicians, and the doctors themselves--they all make you feel like you and your pet are the most important thing to them while you are there. They clearly love animals and enjoy what they do.Weve been through some scary times with our animals over the years and they have always made us feel at ease about the situation. We also trust their recommendations and never feel as if they are trying to upsell us on something that isnt necessary.I also love that they can do a lot of testing in-house, so we dont have to wait days for results of some blood tests.They recently moved into a new space and it is AMAZING!

All the staff are great and very accommodating. We bring all three of our dogs there and they are wonderful at meeting each of their needs. They work with you for last minute appts as well. We have enjoyed all three of their veterinarians. Weve been using them for over 10 years.

We recently had an emergency situation with our Shih Tzu / Yorkie mix. It was close to closing when I called and Dr. OBrien so kindly agreed to stay late to see our little Peanut. Ive never had any business here but I definitely wont ever. They somehow mixed up my phone number with someone and they CONSTANTLY SPAMMED PHONE CALLS for almost 20 min. I dont pick up from people I dont have business with. You would think after the 3rd time I didnt pick up they would leave a voicemail or something. BUT NO. They proceeded to spam call me worse than any telemarketer has.In other regards, if your pet is named Molly I hope theyre okay. But seeing as how irresponsible they are as a buisness, I wouldnt be surprised if your pet was mismanaged.
