If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been getting my nails done for years, and this is by far the worst Ive ever gotten. My acrylic refill was awful. I had 2 nails about to come off, and instead of replacing she glued them. Now 4 days later they fell off. My nails are uneven in length. The white on my French manicure is also different widths. The nails are not smooth, and she spent more time filing my fingers than my nails. Not to mention. It was $46 for a refill. 😳0/10 do not recommend.

I have been going here for more than 12 years. Now they are rushing to get more people in and out and their work shows it. I have had to return to get a nail redone several times. It was never like this. I tip well and is cordial to the ladies. Really thinking about finding a new place.

The women who work here are amazing! This pedicure was one of the best I had experienced in my life. I will be back. Since it is in the mall, I get to shop after a very enjoyable afternoon of beauty treatment.

Don’t waste your money! She tried to have me put my feet in dirty water. After I asked to change the dirty water, I asked for callus removal. She put Vaseline on my feet then scrubbed them. She never used a callus remover on my feet. What kind of service is that? They will never get my money again!

Got a mani pedi 10 days prior my polish started peeling bad. I came back and I asked if they were ready now they had me sitting in a pedicure chair for 15-20 minutes I ended up leaving. Wont be back.

Came into this nail salon and sat down, waited, two people came in after me, so I’m waiting to be called and one person gets serviced before me no big deal cause she was handicap, wait another 20 mins to be told it’s going to be 30 mins, the other person that got there after me gets called mind you she came in way after me, I didn’t get acknowledged at all and when I get up and leave at this time I have already wasted an hour of my time waiting, and someone comes running after me lmao this place is a joke, I was ready to spend $200 on a mani pedi, facial, and wax service. Don’t waste your time here.

WORST SERVICE EVER! My gel nails changed colors on my way home and the OWNER refused to redo my nails. They were supposed to be pink. He told me it was MY FAULT that I put lotion or perfume that made it change colors. I told him I hadnt even gotten home yet and he insisted we have twenty years of experience and this never happens.But it did happen and you refused to fix it. He wasnt even nice about it. And they only had one customer in the store with 3 employees doing nothing who could have helped me. I will never come here again, horrible service and over priced!

They just moved a couple of stores down from their original location. This new shop is bigger and better. The ladies here are always so nice and they always do a great job on my problem toenails.

Do not go!! The woman who did my nail which I think is the owner cut my finger with one of the nail filing devices and she was going to charge me $5 just to get coffin nails and she didn’t even fully paint my nails, she just did two small coats and there was air bubbles in my nails and she took a whole hour to do it. She charged me $60 for my pedicure and acrylic manicure. Waste of time and money!! DONT GO HERE!!

Nope. Never going back. They lack in skills, like immensely. Didnt even moisture my feet with my pedi.. no oil for my cuticles.. no callous removal... Nothing. Waste of time and money. Niece paid $60 for nails and it was not what she asked for and cheap nails!! Disappointed.

I’ve been to this nail salon a handful of times. At first I thought it was too pricey and I opted to find another nail salon that was cheaper. But after trying apple nails on Camino de la reina, Diamond nails on university and even a handful in downtown. There is no service like Ameri nails, the ladies are very gentle, accurate and very patient with the customers. I love that when filing my nails or drilling them down (whatever the actual term is) they don’t even touch my skin or hurt me or tug on my hands. If I ask for input they give me advice and give me their opinion. They aren’t the beat at customer service but you have to understand that they actually KNOW! How to get down with them nails. Best spot in San Diego, hands down.

BRING CASH FOR YOUR TIPS. They dont have an option to tip on your card.I needed my nails done and decided to take a risk on this place despite the less than preferable amount of stars. I have to say, I actually really liked it! They are more expensive than most places I have gone before but I think Im willing to pay it if my nails hold up well. They dip powder us a little thicker than Im used to but my nail tech didnt file my nails down to paper thin like many techs do. She also did not cut me with the file (HUGE pet peeve of mine), nor did she let the dremel heat up my nail to the paint of burning.All in all, my tech was quiet and didnt give me any time to pick out the nail color I wanted so I was looking through the ring with one hand while she worked on the other, but she was efficient so I dont mind. This was the first place I have gone that offered dip powder designs and I have to say, Im very happy with it! I will watch them and see how they wear and grow out in the next few weeks. If they hold up well, I will be back!

Took off my rings for a manicure and accidentally left without them (was frustrated and in a rush after waiting for an hour after our scheduled appt time to get my nails done). Anyways totally my fault that I left them but I turned around 10 minutes later to go back and get them and they had magically disappeared. The staff claimed they don’t have security footage and couldn’t see if someone had taken them.

STAY AWAY!!! RIP OFF!!! NIGHTMARE!!!I brought my girlfriend here to have her nails and toes done. Upon arrival the manager or owner a gentleman by the name of Peter asked what we needed done and my girlfriend stated that she’d like a gel nail manicure and a pedicure.Peter quoted us $110 for both the mani and the pedi - which we agreed to. The entire process took roughly 1 hour and forty-five minutes which I thought was a long time but my girl says that’s about right. Anyways the long and short of this one star review is within four days my girlfriend had to return TWICE due to the nails breaking or cracking completely down the middle. They tried to charge her $5 at which point I made a scene and they quickly changed their minds and did them free. AGAIN, I STRONGLY SUGGEST FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR MANI AND PEDI’s!

I asked if anyone was available to soak of my dip powder.The appointment was traumatic. The tech started by cutting/ trimming my nails (with out asking) then took out a plastic nail and wedged it under my polish. She quickly poped off the first 2 before I stopped her and told her I feel my nails ripping and would like them to be soaked off. She continued working and assured me that it would not damage my nails and this was the best way to take it off . Again I told her I would like them to be soaked off.She was unable to get the thumb nail off so she stuck my finger in a shot glass of acetone and moved to the other had and ripped off 3 more nails before taking the drill out!!I insisted that there was absolutely no need to drill my nails, the product can be soaked off with acetone. When she tried to tell me otherwise I ended the appointment and paid $12 to have my nails destroyed and left.

I ordered acrylic nails. The technician cut them too short and shaped them in an awkward oval. They look like misshapen eggs. She also did not completely paint the nail. It was sloppy, I have nail polish on my skin. She didnt clean underneath my nail to remove the acrylic filler, leaving my nails thick and heavy feeling. It seemed more like a fast food service then a spa. They are more concerned with getting as many people in and out then doing a high quality job.

First of all, Ive tried SO MANY different nail places over the years and none have really wow-ed me, until I came to this location. I know they have several bad reviews from years ago, but I think they have really improved. I ended up coming here because they were the only nail place open later than 7pm. I asked for a Gel Fill at 8pm and they had 2 women working on my nails. They did a fantastic job, my nails lasted 3 weeks without a single chip. Yes they are a tad bit more expensive, but the value that you get for the price is 100% worth it. Ive come here 4 times now and every single time they have done an excellent job. I would highly recommend this location.

This is my 2nd time coming herencia my first experience was great. I asked for almond nails with clear pink gel. I can see through the glue still stuck on my fingers my nail polish I had before wasn’t properly removed. Never coming back. Over priced!! And by looking at the reviews these people don’t care about the customers complain. I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews first huge mistake.

First off I would give this zero stars if I could! Paid for my wifes nails to look great! Instead she came back with discoloration and crooked nails as well as misshapen. If I wanted nails like that I would have done them myself and save the money since schooling isnt helping them. So the manager offered to fix it for a charge claiming that they do not do work like that. Yet he first started his conversation to my wife saying you were here with your sister yesterday. With all that money hes getting by ripping off people he should get all his employees eyes checked and send them back for more schooling!

My sister and I both got very poorly done manicures here. They were sloppy and did the manicures very quickly, my nails were cut and filed unevenly, nail polish was left smeared on my fingers, and the result was so bad I went home and immediately took the nail polish off and had to re-file and fix my nails.

I love this place! They could get a couple of new chairs. Some are broken but overall I always have a great experience.

FUNGUS WARNING! I have been getting Acrylic sets for years now. Never had an issue or something go wrong. I starting coming here for the past 5 months because I was satisfied with the pedicure and my fills were satisfactory. I came in for a fill and informed Mimi one of the nails lifted and to replace it with a new tip. She just super glued it down and proceeded with the fill. A couple days after my fill it had lifted and I didnt feel like paying their nail repair fee (when someone regularly comes to your salon you should not charge a nail repair fee that’s bad customer service) when it could have been avoided. So I super glued it back down and when I came in for the next fill I let her know we have to completely replace the nail this time. When she removed the nail it had fungus underneath. I guess it was due to an air pocket and moisture getting underneath. I’ve never had a nail fungus and I have been getting my fills for many years. With my birthday coming up I was so bummed and in the moment didn’t want to part with my beautiful long nails. So they offered to do a dip powder set. I picked out a very light lavender purple and it turned out to be a Halloween purple. Then she didn’t allow me to do my normal length. She simply told me “I can’t” and chose my length for me. So A. I developed a nail fungus for the first time ever from going here B. They did a service on me while I had a fungus instead of telling me to come back when it’s healed C. They gave me a very different length and color then what I had asked for. After I get it done they tell me my total is $112 before the tip. Due to her ripping my last set off my nails were extremely bruised and I was watching YouTube videos about nails fungus. It was vital I take the set off they just put on and charged me over $100 for. I removed the one my self that had the fungus and the fungus grew within the two days I had those on. I went to a salon close by to have them removed and never has it been so hard to remove a set. The poor nail tech was terrified to keep taking them off when she got close to my real nail because she can see the pain I was in. My nails are still in utter pain. My nails beds have rips from her ripping the old set off and they’re bruised. So the implements they used on my nail with fungus could be used on you. Ripped and I mean ripped my last set off. I was holding my breath while she did it. THEN charges me over $100 for the set!!!! I’ve never had a situation in a salon like this before. And I should have known better because one time I was sitting next to a lady with full in fungus on her toes and they were doing the service on her.

Don’t go here if you don’t have to... the lady used an electric file to take my gel off and completely damaged my nail.

Over priced and poor service. First time I there I took my sister with me and she too was not happy with their work. I went a second time to give then another shot and I waited for an hour even though I was told it was a 20 minute wait. One of the workers were very rude to me when I asked how much longer it would take. They never seated me......not going there again.

Terrible service initially but I do have to say I’ll give it to stores because the girl that did my nails did a decent job.

Overpriced to begin with but then they add on $5 for things not really an extra, like shaping the square corners to be not sharp. And polish was not applied to entire nail, not applied back to cuticle. I lost respect and will not return again.

Got a pedicure here and woke up with an infection in my toe that now might result in a staph infection. Don’t go here. No liners and they don’t use clean tools.

I went to this place with my mom and sister and at first it looked nice but then everything turned out horrible my mom payed $40 for a horribly done pedicure not to mention this place is to over priced do not go here horrible service and the people are so rude and even after my sister complained the lady did the nail polish again and it came out even worse.

Not busy on a Sunday afternoon. The girl who did my pedicure dug so hard into my toe, I screamed. Then she was going to dig into my flesh again, and I had to tell her to leave it alone. Didnt realize until after I left the paper they wrapped between my toes was dirty. Went there because its in the mall and convenient. Never again.
