The BEST nail salon I’ve ever been in So Cal. Super friend workers, such great customer service. The salon looked homey and clean and didn’t smell chemically unlike most nail salons. The complementary wine was great and over all a great experience!!

My nails turned out beautifully, and the main head guy there was so kind and welcoming so I’ll give them an extra star, otherwise I would give 1/5. The reason for my bad review is due to what happened to me at the end of my visit.My boyfriend and I were first time visitors. I got the gel mani/pedi and he got the superior pedi treatment. The gel prices weren’t listed so I had to find out as I went. It’s easy to list prices for gel! Part of my boyfriend’s treatment seemed to have missed some offerings in the bundle. A callous treatment was part of it and he was looking forward to that one especially, but we think the lady skipped it because we didn’t see it done.Anyway, the main reason for my poor review was at the end for paying. The guy went to lunch so we had to deal with the head boss woman. My boyfriend paid and I tipped. It was about $120 for everything, and I tipped $20. The woman took the tip and then she asked for more!! I would’ve understood if I only tipped like $10, but $20 is a great tip. Her reason was that “three people did the job” and I gave her two $10’s so she wanted another $10. I felt so humiliated in front of my boyfriend. I’m on a budget, nails are a luxury experience to me, but after hearing that, it felt like my tip wasn’t good enough to give more. Terrible experience and awful for her to do that to us. I gave her an extra $10 but wish I told her to “Keep the $20 and YOU evenly divide that between the three people!” I hope she enjoys that extra $10 because we are never coming back.

FIVE (5!) stars for their waxing service, 3* for nails; so 4* overall. The 3 rating for nail service was because its the first time Ive had a Nail Tech PRY off my dip nails with a nail tip (tearing some nails). There is no posted price list, so paying $38 for shellac (soak off gel) was surprising to me - that was actually more expensive than dip nails I had done at at another salon less than a mile away. However, the waxing was reasonably priced and Tina was meticulous. For waxing, ask for Tina!

I love the way they do my nails they always listen before they start doing my nails. Im pretty picky for where I get my pedicures since I want to make sure everything is clean and sanitized, this place is clean 👌!The only reason why Im giving it 4 stars it is because they push too too much to get the most expensive service.

They made my wifes nail bleed and we had to not let that nail get done because they took off a big chunk of her nail

I got gel removal at this place on my nails and the lady who did them absolutely did a number on them. She soaked them for less than 3 minutes (when it’s recommended that you soak with acetone for 10-15 at least!) and then filed my nail beds down so unevenly. The service was SO rushed and now my natural nails are so ugly, there’s traces of polish left too. I asked her to fix it and she ignored me. I’m so unhappy :(

I love this place! Hannah is definitely my go to. Shes sweet and always does a great job. Been here 3 times and prices are fair for the great job. It is always full so I suggest making an appointment.

This has been my go to for a pedicure for a while, yesterday’s experience was so disappointing. This was not the worse massage I have ever had, but it is close to it. 2 minutes of applying the lotion. Not sure if I am going to return, even though it is so convenient.

They fixed my jacked up nails from a previous salon. They even stayed a little later until it’s finished. Always Impressed with the service and the quality! Will return constantly to get my nails done.

Overall a slightly more decent spot compared to generic nail salons. Got acrylic full set but the technician who served me didnt shape the nails cleanly/evenly (left them rough under, got visibly slanted nails). Thats the only issue but other than that theyre good 😊 Even, clean polish.

Social distancing was not enforced, despite signs saying otherwise. Manicurist (Mimi) was pushy and aggressive and kept trying to upsell despite me repeatedly saying I did not want the extra service. Pedicure was good (different stylist. Did not catch her name). Manicure by Mimi was mediocre, with lots of glue/powder left on my hands and cuticles uneven. No plans to come back. Overpriced.

I got my mani-pedi with Mimi, she did a very poor job. It was my very first time visiting. She did a sloppy job. She didnt took the excess nail polish on my nails and the cuticles were half done. I can see my cuticles will be breaking in few days because they were not cut properly and my nails are not smooth they are sharp on the edges. Never come back again, not worth the 67.00 I paid.

Go see Kathy!! Shes amazing! Make sure you go in to see her when youre not in a rush, because shes a perfectionist and takes her time. Its well worth every moment, best manicure and pedicure Ive ever had and I managed a full service salon and day spa in Carmel Mountain for 6 years. Again though make sure youve got time because shes not going to rush you out of her chair, the mani/pedi I had took about 2 hours in total with Kathy preforming both services as they were a bit busy. I also found the nail salon extremely reasonably priced and the guy, Tru, who seems to manage the nail salon is very helpful and very welcoming. They also have great cleaning techniques, again I recognize these things and Board requirements easily from my previous occupation. Kathy most certainly has a new loyal customer!

Great nail salon with friendly staff and a great selection of nail polish. Got a gel manicure, which was decently priced. Only complaint is my manicurists English wasn’t amazing so it was hard to communicate some requests I had.

I love coming to this salon its clean. Most of the tech are super nice. Their gel is a little more pricey but worth it. After have nails for a month with needing a fill I was still getting compliments. Keep up with the amazing work.

I am searching for a new nail salon. I rate the salon /nail stylist based on kindness & how they treat me when I request a specific service. I am willing to pay top dollar & give a good tip. Today I went to this nail salon & the stylist named Na reacted rudely to me when I requested that she redo a nail and when I requested 3 base coats. She made faces at me & complained (in her foreign tongue) about me to her neighbor after my requests. After my nails were done she stood several feet away from me & said youre done. I looked at her & said, can I least have cuticle oil? In a huff, she came over lathered my hands & complained (in her foreign tongue again!) to her neighbor. In all my years of going to a nail salon - I have never been disrespected. I always leave a $2 -$5 dollar tip but today I did not leave a tip. That is how upset I was with her customer service. I should have said something as I paid but I was so humiliated. I work in customer service & no one should ever be humiliated for requesting good service. I paid $35 dollars- I expect to leave the salon happy with my nails & wanting to come back as a consistent customer. Never again.

Ive been coming here on and off for the 2 years or so (starting around when they first opened). The service has always been top notch, but Im now convinced to be a more regular customer after my gel manicure with Helen.I think she may have given me the BEST gel manicure Ive ever had. She didnt rush through my mani and made sure that it was flawless. Not to mention shes super nice and I had a great conversation with her.Id highly recommend asking for Helen for a gel manicure if you want it to be perfect :) Ive always loved Tori Nail and I think she makes a great addition to the team.

Disappointed in lack of cleaning after/between clients especially for these current COVID times. I had a pedicure and did not see anyone disinfect or clean their stations after any clients in the time I was there.

They are extremely limited in nail colors. Pretty much just one brand of gel polish and a few other regular polishes. The ladies who did my feet and nails were very nice but did not listen and instead did what they wanted. My waxing was also very rushed without attention to detail.

This place was great! Everyone was super sweet and Holly did my nails perfectly. I went in last minute to get my nails done for a Marine Corp Ball that I attended in Vegas and couldnt have been happier with my nails for the event. Unfortunately, I didnt get the best picture but I got a light pink and white ombré that looked great and faded perfectly. I fully intend on going back as much as I can. Highly recommend!

I would give 0 stars if I could. The nail artist Toni did very poor job with my gel manicure, did not file my nails after gel was dried to ensure no nail is flaking or chipping under the gel. Sure enough nails started to chip off 3 days later!! Usually my gel nails done at a different place last up to 3 weeks! When i came to Toris salon to fix the gel chipping off, the nail artist Toni gave me an attitude, blaming me for gel chipping off so fast!! He Fixed the chipped gel and again failed to file the nails!Really unhappy with place! Will never go there again

I have no idea where all these terrible reviews are coming from, but I love this place! I live closer to downtown SD and make it a point to get my nails done here every time I’m in the area. Kay is my favorite! She’s so sweet and does an amazing job on my gel mani! The customer service at this place is also top notch.

Got my nails and toes done and about two or three days after, my toe got infected, and while they were doing them they filed into my skin in four places. I thought it wasn’t that bad, but when they sprayed with alcohol when done it stung so bad, I had scabs for a couple days after.. and notice in pic that it had only been two or three days but there was a sizable gap between skin and fingernail that looked about a week old. I had tipped $20 that day.sorry for the gross photos.

Great customer service! We made an appointment, was running late and the manager called to assure that we were going to make it. It was really busy when we got there but the manager greeted us right when we got through the door and it only took 5-10 mins to get started on our nails. I honestly cant believe people would rate this place a 1 star. Yeah its busy even when you make an appointment but that have great service and make sure you are doing okay! About the place: their menu is not placed anywhere, they have it on a lamentated paper. So if you want to know the price call. They host Big Parties! They have 7 pedicure chairs and 8 spots for doing nails and of course they can do your nails while getting a pedicure. We made our appointment at 4 so probably between noon and 5 is when its most busy. Great place to get your nails done!

My go to place for nails

Usually I go to Professionail salon on Washington str, but two weeks ago I had to find a nail place close to my work due to logistic and scheduling issues. I decided to give Tori Nail Bar and Spa a try and was not disappointed. I was greeted by a man who was very attentive and polite. He made sure to call every customer at the salon by their first name (as opposed to miss, sir, mam, or excuse me.). I was offered wine and water. I had an appointment and I was seen at my scheduled time. Nail technician who did my nails was respectful of my requests and did a good job. Two weeks later, my gel manicure is still intact, with the exception of a small chip that I got yesterday.Also, they have a kids room where your little ones can enjoy various toys while you enjoy your pedicure.

Tao is amazing! Very attentive to detail, encourages you to ask questions, and engages in conversation. This place is a hidden gem. The manager greets you the second you walk in and remembers everyones name. Beautiful and clean spa. I love that they dont rush you in and out. I like quality, so Im willing to spend a little extra time in the chair to make sure it gets done perfectly. Only thing I would suggest is add a rose gold sparkly gel polish with the rest of the colors. I love rose gold everything 😋. Thank you for the pleasent experience! I will be returning here soon!

Eh. My sister and I came here for acrylics and I can confidently say we wont be coming back here.1. We made appointments but still had to wait. Ok whatever youre busy thats fine.2. I picked a color, my nail technician disagreed with it. Lady, my nails my choice. I asked for a light Angel pink, she comes back with a bright hot neon pink.... I tell her its not the right color, she tells me yes it is, it will fade into the light pink LOL no. I settled for some Rose Water color. It looked different on the sample but sure, close enough I guess.3. Theyre really rough with your nails and cuticles - I bled and when my sister reacted with an OW, they didnt care.4. Owner/manager guy was obnoxious and too much - my nail tech just started painting and he kept asking her if she was done yet every other minute... chill dude....5. They rushed and you can see the lack of quality in my new set of crooked & off-centered acrylic nails.There were other things but Im over it.

This place greets you right away and offers you a beverage. Their customer service is very good, however I was not happy with my nails both times I have been here. When I got acrylic gel nails, there was a bubble in the gel that I asked them to fix and they were able to sand it down and reapply the color but it didnt really fix the issue. I also came once to have acrylics removed and I thought they would allow me to sit to the side and soak them off (I know it takes awhile and I didnt want to take up one of their chairs) but instead she insisted on just removing them. Even with me pulling away in pain because she was pulling and chipping so hard at my nails she continued. I felt confused and just figured I should bear it and get through it (I know better now). She then proceeded to do the manicure, but she didnt get all of the pieces of acrylic of so the texture was uneven and by the time I got home a piece of the remaining acrylic came off and took the manicure color with it. Overall I would go there again because they are friendly and they offer amazing pedicures but I would be more assertive in what I want and definitely would not have them remove acrylics.

And I can honestly say. I have never been so disappointed getting my nails done. The lady was really rough on my fingers. I have real nails that I had acrylic applied to. They grew out. So she said I didnt have to soak them off. She can file them down. Well she filed them down so much. That she broke through the top of my real nail. Making me bleed. And then she had the nerve to say I should not have waited so long to get a refill. I told here I just came here after traveling. She then applied some clear stuff to prime my nails. I told her can I soak the nails off and just be done with it. Cause I was bleeding and it was burning. And she said no cause she filed them already. Then She did a HORRIBLE job at painting them. Applied the clear coat bad too. Even hit one of my nails her self and said it would be extra to take the polish off to reapply it. So I said no. I finish letting her paint my nails. And Im going to get nail polish myself and repaint them myself.So heads up. Its the shortest lady in there with glasses. I may just call back and get her name. To let yall know.

They are okay I guess the manager is nice, but the lady who did my refill first off cut me and when I told her she was all rude about it. They were a little racist, she charged me 28 for a refill and it was supposed to be 18:( not not recommended.

Went there last weekend for a pedicure. (sandal season is starting lol) Loved it! They dont over push with the upselling options like others do (Were by the time youre doneyou somehow doubled the price of what you wanted). Kim did a great job. Ive tried a few place around here but never was satisfied enough to go back. I will definitely go back there.On a different note...I dont have kids but I like the idea that they have a playroom for the kids to wait and not get too bored.
