This is a hidden gem. I was looking for a place to get a mani and pedi and found this place. From the moment I walked in, I received excellent service. They use orange peels in the water they used on your feet and hands, they don’t rush when prepping the feet and hands, I got a hand and foot massage (complementary) and it was so good I asked for a a. 30 min foot massage. They are constantly asking whether you are comfortable and finished my session with a refreshing water infused with lemon. If you are around, check out this place.

The service was so great, especially Mia. She helped me get my sandals on to avoid messing up the polish and didn’t mind when I had to fill up the meter. Everyone in general was kind, the massage was great, the lemon water was good. And no one was there at 5 pm on a Saturday. Would def recommend ! Arigato

I got a massage and pedicure at suki day spa. I am very happy with their service. 2 girls was taking care of me and no up sell. I went so many spa they always up sell. Glad this one is not. I loved the sea salt pedicure. The touch is amazing. Too bad they dont sell the sea salt. Otherwise I will buy some.

We had a 8:15pm appointment for two pedicures. We arrived on time and waited patiently for us to be called. We made a female employee aware of our appointment and she immediately grabbed the buckets to setup. Once in the chairs we were ignored for approximately 15 mins before receiving service. When we received service it was the female staff member splitting her time. My water was cold after waiting for her to halfway finish the person with me. The male employee who did my pedicure didn’t cut my toes properly and gave some half-baked excuse about filing the nail. I’ve had numerous pedicures before and each time they removed the skin that has built up on my nail. I did ask him to remove the additional skin and he did an awful job you can see in photo one.

First things first, I never write reviews. Ever. But the staff at Suki Day Spa took such good care of me, here I am thinking it’s a disservice to not review this place. Susan and Sofie both were amazing, I came in after a long, tiring week and didn’t know what to expect. The comfortability and quality of care was unmatched. I won’t even bother trying anywhere else. 11/10 recommend.

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Suki Day Spa because it was in downtown San Diego walking distance from our Hotel. Our experience was personal and phenomenal because they made sure we were taken cared of the entire time. Susan and Saki both assisted in the Pedicure + manicure we both got and we both loved it. We didn’t get the chance to get the name of the older lady that gave us feet and hand massages while the others did our nails. The most relaxing experience we were falling asleep. It’s the best our nails have ever looked! Next time we take a trip back to San Diego, we will be sure to stop by again at Suki’s.

Prices are out rages! Go somewhere else as they will rip you off and ADD additional charge for aspects that other locations will not charge. They overcharged for a basic change of color french at $50. Most places charge $35. GO to Downtown Nail Salon, they have better prices!

What a lovely experience for a mani/pedi! I was able to walk in without an appointment and was helped right away even though they were busy. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I loved the fresh aloe leaves and citrus-scented water, a nice change from artifically perfumed lotions. A great way to start any vacation, I highly recommend you pay a visit!

Amazing experience. Had 1 hour massage and it was wonderful. The ladies are so pleasant and made us feel so comfortable we felt at home. Took my 2 daughters for pedicures and manicures. They took such great care of them. Very relaxing and highly recommend it.

Susan gave me an amazing long over due pedicure. She has a lot of experience and even applied a nail stregthener. Will return.

What a wonderful experience! For the pedicure, I LOVED that they soaked my feet in a big, beautiful, squeaky clean copper basin. The water was the perfect temperature and was infused with orange peel and eucalyptus. I opted for the callus removal add on and the tech did an AWESOME job. Ending with a fresh aloe rub (instead of a greasy lotion) was AMAZING. I was away on business at the time...so happy to have happened upon Suki Day Spa!

Had the best facial! Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and great prices. Definitely worth it. Will come again when visiting San Diego next time!!!

I was able to call and ask if they would do a fill & pedi at 945pm.. They took me in and wiped the sweat from my face and arms. I had to walk fast a few blocks due to traffic from comic con.. They were very accommodating..

In the military and needed somewhere that was open late. They are open until 10 by appointment. They took me in as soon as I came in. Its different. Nice quiet, nice and comfy. The lady was SO nice, but not too nice. The only complaint is that they didnt remove the dead skin around my cuticles. Which is why they are only getting a 3 especially because the total was $69 for a pedicure with gel polish. I prob wont come back because of those two reasons.

I walked in and they had no trouble getting me started on my gel manicure right away. The nail technicians were extremely friendly and detail oriented. They took a long time working on my cuticles and shaping my nails to make sure everything was even and perfect. After my manicure, one of the girls gave me a long arm and hand massage with fresh aloe. I would highly recommend stopping in if youre nearby looking for a good deal for great service.

Good value for money, I had a back massage ahead of my long trip. Staff are professional, friendly, and well skilled. Went around evening/closing time, so not sure if that is the reason they did not notice that the toilet and toiletries needed some attention. They however do massage right.

Great, friendly and clean place. They use real Aloe Vera instead of lotion. I love that you feel clean instead of sticky afterwards. Its all of the little touches that make a difference for me. I will definitely come back when Im in town.

Was a small nice place. Liked the fact it wasnt super busy. They offer you nice chilled lemon water. They have a scented candle burning in the room. They have a place to put your stuff. Everything was wonderful. I didnt really care from my eyebrow arch that my tech did.

My friend and I went here to celebrate Mothers Day. The Mani/pedi was great. The massage however was strange. The massage therapist wore plastic gloves...? It was definitely not as smooth and was distracting. Also, both of our massages were too hard. I asked to lighten up a few times. Would recommend this place for nails.

Always love visiting this place when in SD. Top notch manicures/pedicures in a very inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and caring. Try one of their extremely effective facials, always leave feeling 10 years younger! :)

In SD for a quick vacation and after a bad nights sleep, I came to Suki for a much needed massage. It was exactly what I was after. The hot stone was great (especially for the $15 fee). I definitely recommend this establishment- great value!

Wonderful hole in the wall spot for pedicures and a little reflexology massage

We saw this place and went for a manipedi. The ladies did a really good job and were also really nice. I went back for a massage a week later and that was also really good.

I came here to get my nails done while on holiday in San Diego. It is not the typical environment that you would find for a nail salon, not in Canada anyway. It has dim lighting with lamp and outside light, which I will add is very relaxing but I assumed would naturally be hard to see to actually paint the nails. The individual doing my nails placed a lamp directly over my hands and feet while providing service to see better, but I still had nail polish on the skin part of my feet and did not have white polish on the entire tips of my french shellac polish, which was disappointing because the prices are average for other salons, not much cheaper. They do not have the typical table set up so while my pedicure was getting finished I had to rest the nail lamp on my lap so another individual could do my manicure and it was kind of uncomfortable and awkward. Each time I had to move my foot in and out of water the lamp had to be readjusted on my lap and the individual had to stop doing my manicure so that she didnt make an error on the french polish. Overall, I would not come back here it has been 2 weeks and the shellac is peeling off very quickly, and there were parts of my nail missing polish as previously mentioned already. Usually my manicures last 4 weeks but I realize this is higher than average for most people.

This guy had ZERO massage experience. I literally asked him if he did... do you know how low you have to get to ask a massage therapist you just paid $55 to tap on your back if they even have certification of any type?? TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT DO IT! also people walking in and out, super loud, bright lights .. All BAD!

The most expensive nail salon I have ever been to. It cost 159 for gel pedicure, gel manicure w acrylic and basic French color and 10 min neck massage. At the other salon close to me I got a 15 min foot massage, gel nails w acrylic but w special colors that were designs AND a brow and lip wax for 139. Will not go back to this place and I live a block away.

Walked in, interested in getting a manicure and nobody greeted me. The lady was sitting in the chair too. I walked right out. Not giving a dime of my money.

Not the right place for quick in-and-out manicure because they really take their time, but if you are looking for a relaxing experience then this is a great location. Very cozy and the staff were awesome and so friendly, my nails look great!

I travel all over, get massages all over. I received the best massage ever and the salt foot massage eliminated all stress. Prices are very reasonable for the services received.

This spa is great! Their service is impecible. They offer tea and snacks, they are very polite and did a great job on my pedicare and massage! They are also open ALL day on Christmas! I called 10 places that were all closed before finding this place and it was the best choice!

I entered the shop and was quoted $40 dollars for acrylic infills, service was okay but employees frequently spoke to each other about business in front of clients and often swapped over to different people for other treatments (as if they didn’t know what they were doing). The room was clean but the nail products used came from a plastic box that was clearly frequently used and I was unsure if they had been sterilised.The lady did my nails and when they were finished they looked to be in a good condition and they were the way I wanted them to be. However when it came to paying for them I was over charged and in the same day when I returned home one of the nails had broken (I assume due to the products that were used not being of a good quality). When I awoke the next morning 3 more had broken, when I rang the salon to report the issue I had they were rude, lied to me about the managers whereabouts when I asked to speak to them, and then refused to give me the refund that I had asked for.Extremely unsatisfied and would not recommend to anyone as my nails that I had on previously were in a much better condition than they are now, if I could give a 0 star rating then I would.

Wow... what a refreshing find. No big puffy olaastic chairs and foot bins here. Low slung seating with pillows..copper bowls with rocks and herbs for foot soaking..top.of the.line products and REAL massage techniques are what you will findwhen you conne .in ..for floor pedicure ...I also used the waxing services. Extremly gentle with amazing results...The ladies have a new regular and its Me!!!!

The people here are so nice but I had a pretty bad experience with getting gel nails there. I went on my lunch and by that night they had already started chipping/cracking. I went back less than a week later and they were so kind to redo all the chipped nails for me however the next day they were already chipping again. It upset me even more because they are more on the expensive side and I’ve never had this bad of a problem with gel before. I might have just been unlucky but overall I’m very disappointed. Very nice people though.

I called ahead since sometimes salons arent ready for that many walk-ins at once, and the manager returned my call promptly and let me know they were able to make arrangements to cater to the time we wanted.I was a bit concerned since many nail salons in downtown have poor ratings and negative reviews, but at Suki Day Spa, the service was very excellent and both the manager and nail technicians took great care to check in regularly ensure we were all comfortable and having fun. As for the pedicure itself, some of my nails were not cut perfectly. However, I didnt point it out since I was only there for the group activity, and I am confident if I said something they would have fixed it right away.A really great bonus to this whole amazing experience I had at this spa was that they use real aloe vera they break off freshly as a natural alternative to artificially scented lotion. As someone with sensitive skin, I really appreciated this option.All around a superior experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone in town!

Great foot massage for a reasonable price.

I took my daughter in law for a swedish massage, mani and pedi. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I had a deep tissue massage to break up all of the knots in my back and shoulders and had the mani and pedi too. What I liked about that was that I got the mani and pedi at the same time which was a time saver. They dont close until 10p so its perfect for after work.

This place is nice and cozy. Everyone who works here is friendly and professional.
