Wow, this was so fun to do! Got there (almost) on time and the kayak was already in the water, patiently waiting for us! LOL! We have some kayak experience so we didnt need much in the way of instruction and off we went! Mission Bay at night is a special place with calm waters, almost no wind and clear skies! So peaceful and relaxing compared to daytime kayaking and activity on the bay! When the hour was up, we pulled up on the beach and done! Water shoes and a drybag may be useful as I know they dont always have enough for everyone. Dont miss this unique nighttime San Diego experience!

This was a very exciting adventure with See Bottom Kayaking. The process to book was very smooth and the website was easy to navigate. I highly recommend using the exact pin drop location when you arrive. The pin drop will tell you exactly where to meet for your scheduled event. We brought our 55lb husky along and this was her first time on the kayak. Overall, it was really fun and we highly recommend the night kayaking! Our husky loved it and I know your dog will too!

We had a great experience with See Bottom Kayaking from excellent customer service to clean and very stable kayaks. We had two kayaks for 3 people plus a dog and a 2 hour ride was just right.

Just finished a two hour ride (7-9p) and was thoroughly impressed!! See Bottom Kayaking had no corner cut— kayak was super clean and comfortable, even a Bluetooth speaker offered for us to play music on while we were out on the water. The owner was very personable and friendly, gave us a quick bit of info on the kayak, the area, and recommendations on what to do with our two hour time slot. Wishing the weather had been a little clearer for a better sunset view, but it was beautiful and serene nonetheless. I’d definitely recommend and we will probably be back before too long!

What a great idea and an awesome experience. Being out on the water in the evening/night was incredibly fun. Shane is very friendly and accomodating, kayaks are in great shape, he gives you everything you need, and has some great recommendations on where to go in the bay. Definitely will be back!

It is beautiful to be able to see the sunset, listen to the birds, and feel the movement of the water, it is really beautiful. The man who attends is very friendly and explains everything in detail! It is really worth it and it is very relaxing!
