First time jet skiing and I had am amazing time. This was a very memorable experience. SD Bay adventures explained everything and made sure my wife and I were safe out on the water. We drove the the Coronado bridge and had a blast. We took pictures too.

It is was really great. I did the early special for $149.00 per JetSki rental for 2 hrs plus a total $15.00 fee. It was fun, but you did need to arrive 45 minutes early due to them having to go through everything with you for liability purposes even for an experienced rider. You also had to sign a lot of paper work too. Other than that, it was really fun :)

Went out w 8 people for a birthday and it was so good I wish could give it 3 stars which is my personal max on a 1-3 rating system but Google offered 5 so just went with it bc incredible !

Checked in early, everyone was really friendly. They give you a solid briefing and get you out there. Theyre is about an 8 minute slow ride to clear the no wake zone and then it opens up. Hardly any boats, the jet skis are great star spangled and fast! Really glad I came, would definitely come again!!

Such a great experience!!! The staff was awesome & very friendly! Solid safety debrief, and the jet ski itself was well taken care of!!! We got there pretty early, and they were able to accommodate, and get us out on the water quickly!! They kept all of our belongings safely locked up. And they had a great waterproof container to place our phone & ID in while out on the water. Such a great adventure, & for sure our favorite rental company in San Diego!!!

Wow! What an awesome experience! I surprised my husband on his birthday by bringing him to this place. We arrived here early just to be safe and after preparing us for the adventure, Kathy was kind enough to let us go in 15 min early. It was our first time coming here and the staff was outstanding. Very friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean, where you can change your clothes, the jet skis were in great condition, comfortable sitting, and fast. I only paid for 1h15 min, wish I would have gotten the 2h, because it was so much fun! I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and everyone that wants to have fun on a jet ski.

Pulled up along side 3 girls who booked some jet skis for 5pm as well. We all showed up late. Literally same time. They got on the water and I got scammed out of my money. They definitely treat certain people and pretty girls better. Said they tried to call me, never did. Rude old lady at the front.

I am a San Diego native and rent jet skis/ wave runners regularly here in San Diego and have always enjoyed and had a great experience but this was the only time and company I would say don’t use i booked online as you have to now paid in full have confirmation for two skis we were about to get on the water they proceed to tell me I have to go to finance after doing all the prep for two riders two skis to tell me they had a scheduling issue (blaming me for my poor online reservation skills ) and proceeded to tell me you signed it no refund it is what it is you have one now and one at the end of the day and was very adamant about not switching anything around so we could ride together or to fix the issue as she proceeded to get rude with me and I just said give me my stuff I’m leaving following up she proceeded to try to engage in argument with my relative from out of town because he had written his number on the form for solo rider sending rude text Blows my mind how someone can try and operate a business this way best of luck in the future hope you treat your future customers better than you did me the nearby rentals are on point though shout-out to those guys they are solid ✌🏼

We rented wave runners, kayaks and a paddle board. There were 10 of us in our party. The crew working there were all great!! Very professional, patient, thorough, and just plain nice!!! Will definitely rent from there again.Highly, highly recommend this establishment.

Was here a few weeks ago with the family and everyone had a blast!

I tried to communicate with the people after I booked the reservation, Because I booked an error (I was booking on my cell phone) however we arrived they pretended like they didn’t receive the communication, and then we were unable to change . I showed them my text and my email - stating that I wanted to book 1 hour instead of two hour- and they said they work with us however, they didn’t —very frustratingYes I made an error I had hoped since the time frames didn’t change that we could be a little flexible however they chose not to be flexible at all good luck!

Honestly the worst experience, the owner kathy is extremely unprofessional. i called multiple times 3hours PRIOR to my ride time. received a text shorty after responded to ask if she can call me back and never did until 10min after we were supposed to be there. shortly after she hung up & every time i would get sent to voicemail. drove 4+ hrs with tons of unexpected traffic, which is why i kept calling to see if we would still be able to ride. she ended up saying she gave our ski to someone else and there would be no way we could ride. i’m sure the actual jet ski experience would’ve been a blast, but donot recommend the ownership/customer service here horrible..

The front end customer service ( owner included!) was charged with excitement and a very welcoming vibe! The hospitality was incredible; the initial paperwork walk-through was clear and simple all the way to the onboarding of our jet skis and return! They also take free pictures!!Despite it being a business transaction at the end of the day their personalities and professionalism was personal and made an impression. And how you treat people determines how valuable and attractive your services are. I recommend taking your date, friends /fam, business constituents here!

Making a reservation over the phone was easy and quick. Rented two jet skis for a great price. Staff was super friendly! Watched a quick video and received a quick verbal demo before heading out on the water. My brother, sister, and I had so much fun! Thinking about returning in a couple of days for another ride.

Free daily non-motorized rental with Sheratons resort fee make it a nice option to do a daily workout in the water. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My group originally had a booking for 3pm but needed to change it to 6pm. The staff was extremely helpful and they accommodated our change of plan with no trouble at all! Mary did a great job of training us and preparing us to ride the jetskis. I also have to mention the sweet American flag paint jobs on the jet skis themselves! I recommend this company over other jet ski rentals available in SD. Being family owned, the experience is much more authentic, fun, and you look way cooler on their jet skis! Will absolutely be coming back for more!

Visited to celebrate a 50th birthday. No one in our group (ages 14-50) had ever ridden a jet ski, but everything went so smoothly from booking to riding. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the stops. Learned so much and got some great pictures. Perfect thing to do on our first visit to San Diego. Looking forward to coming back!

Had a bachelor party of 8 and we had a Great experience! From booking the skis to getting us set up and giving us a little more time since we were late, the picture at the end was hilarious! They treated us really good, joked around, trained us and explained everything we needed. Good for first timersPrice was the best around, gas included in the package, were not absurd with the security deposit and made it easy for us.The skis were great! Customized paint job to match the life jacket, powerful, 2019/18s. Big enough so the waves dont rock as muchYou get the whole bay to ride on, long enough to let the seadoo really rip and wide to catch some waves away from other boats(and fly off) lol. First time riding in the ocean so theres plenty of waves to catch, boats cause a wake/swell so you can jump off of them, or ride the wave, really different then riding on river watersGreat Views through out the entire time, SD skyline, Navy ships, the bridge. When I wasnt speeding or jumping waves Id jump in the water and just enjoy the view for a bit and hop back on.I will Definetly come back and rent jet skis from this place again, only next time for the whole day! What a beautiful family owned business with incredible people who are just so soulful and upbeat energetically. My husband and I were renting a boat nearby for our 16th anniversary and we decided to take a couple jet skis out for a while. Being a walk in on Cinco de Mayo weekend, we were unsure what to expect but the staff at SD Adventures made us feel welcomed and they accommodated us even without a reservation. The jet skis were new and ran perfectly! The staff was knowledgeable and beyond friendly. Some of the best care weve received. Weve been to other locations for rentals and I can honestly say by far that these were not only the best people to work with, but the entire experience was fabulous! Beautiful waters, beautiful jet skis, and great staff...what else can you ask for?! We will definitely be coming back and I will be telling everyone I know about the great service and wonderful time we had.

Very rude. I called to inquire about jet ski and he said “we are closed for jet skii season” and hung right up in my face. Didnt see if i was interested in anything else just hung straight up. COVID is really making businesses feel like service is last on their priority list.

Stopped by on a last minute impulse before catching a flight back to Nashville. One of the best decisions I couldve made that day!As mentioned in other reviews, the jet skis are newer and let me tell you they are FAST!!! 😁They are also extremely easy to handle. You never feel like its too big or too much to handle. You always feel as though youre in complete control. Speed is there if you want it, but its just as fun to just cruise in the water, take pictures while in the bay, or enjoy the scenery.The staff went above and beyond in working with my tight schedule. They were fun, courteous, and professional. While also being very down to earth and easy to chat with.To sum it up, if youre looking for some fun on the water, you cant go wrong with this company!If you do decide to give it a whirl, go for at least two hours. One hour is just long enough for you to get used the jet ski, start have a blast, then realize you have to hurry back because your time is almost up 😟.I will definitely be back next time Im in the San Diego area!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The staff is so friendly and familial. My first time Jet Skiing was with them on memorial day of 2019 and Ill never forget the experience. They made it so fun and we even got soda and brownies out of the deal! Awesome experience!! When we called them up, that lady who answered the phone was so nice and welcoming. I was sold coming here by the phone call alone! When we got there everyone was very nice and helpful, it was a good personal experience. The Skis were in great shape and had no issues with them at all. We did the 2 hours which was perfect. This beats anything in Mission bay, the harbor is much better and more to see and places to go. We will be coming back, thanks for a great time!

Here are some points to consider when choosing a Jet Ski Rental company in San Diego: 1. Jet Skis were in good condition and ran perfectly (top speed 47mph) 2. The location is comparable to none as you have the opportunity to explore the entire San Diego Bay within a 1 or 2 hour rental. 3. 25% off for returning guests. 4. Customer service, communication, and organization could be improved. However, I understand their desire to check in their guests as quickly as possible so as to not consume too much of their time on vacation or and/or otherwise.

Terrible customer service. Staff is extremely rude and unresponsive especially Kathy. Would not recommend this company at all due to the way they treat their customers. The way Kathy spoke to my family and I was unbelievable and I would not recommend this business to anyone. Would give 0 stars if I could. This is the rudest encounter I have ever had with a business.

This was literally the best experience I had all weekend in San Diego. Gail and Kathy made my best friend and I feel so welcomed and comfortable. We had a flight layover and wanted to have some fun but stay close to the airport. Gail & Kathy were so sweet. We were first time riders, these ladies made sure safety was first and took time to ask about that, inform us of how to operate and proper etiquette while on the water. We watched a brief video, enjoyed some amazing snacks. They had a very clean restroom area, with showers included, for us to wash up after. It was a little windy outside so we were provided some wet suits that were well insulated, and allowed us to have fun on the water, going pretty fast, but stay warm. The bay is located close to Coronado Beach, the Navy Ships and more. We saw sea lions while we were riding. Gail’s husband gave us a map of the island; it was laminated and attached to the jet ski. I never felt more comfortable on a first time experience like this. They made us feel like family. We will DEFINITELY be back with family and more friends. Thank you for making this experience amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! 🎊

Had a blast! Took the early bird slot at 9am for 2 hours! Recomend that everyone do the 2 hours! You cannot see all the amazing sights in 1 hour! Well worth it! The staff are awesome!

Will be back again! Wonderful, warm service from the crew to the owners. The hot showers and provided wetsuits are what drew me in the first place and they were even better than advertised. Coupled with that, it was incredibly affordable and I was never worried that I was going to be charged for something extraneous to raise the price. This is really the best way to spend an afternoon in San Diego. From the affordable prices to the wonderful service, it cant be beat.

My sister and I shared a jet ski for the 2.5 hour tour with Bruce. I cannot say enough about this experience. Neither of us had ever been on a jet ski before. After an orientation video, life jacket and quick lesson we started off with 4 others and had the time of our life and were well educated about what our Navy does in this area. We saw a nuclear submarine preparing to go out, dolphins and sea lions being trained for military duty, the USS Midway, Coronado bridge etc. It was exciting, fast and fun. When the tour was over we were given items to shower and then rejoined our group for a lunch (included) and additional questions and conversation with Bruce and his wife. They are lovely people and you can tell they LOVE what they do. I would do this again in a heartbeat!!!! Oh and dont forget to get the thumb drive they give you with pictures of you and your trip that Bruce takes throughout the tour!!! Awesome!!!!!! Well worth it!!!

Awesome customer service and great prices. Went there a few times and just cant get enough. If you are lucky you may even get Bruces jet ski....it is fast! Will definitely be back for more fun in the sun. Best part was they remembered my name :)

Gail and the entire staff were a true delight. I had to plan and rally 10 bachelors for my buddies bachelor party. Gail helped me from start to finish and I was very understanding.The jet skis were all brand new unlike the other places I looked at before landing on San Diego Bay Adventures. Plus, they were all painted red white and blue. Who doesn’t love that?I rate my experience 5/5 because the product and service were both above my expectations.

Celebrated my kids 22 and 21 birthday this weekend. The staff is a 10 plus plus. They are all so fabulous and helpful. Definitely recommend this place. I guarantee we will be back.

Travelers from all over the world come here through the warm months and consistently return ecstatic and satisfied.Ive never seen a business that gets guys laid more comprehensively than i assume this one does.Best $100 outing available, and not even a bad alternative to owning your own jetski when you factor how much you actually ride it- minus launching/towing time and hassle.The crotch rocket everyone can enjoy without risking life and limb in pursuit of adrenaline-- that starts every time you show up and already has good gas in it.

From start to finish it was a great experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They have great jetskis in good shape, they let you borrow wetsuits or rash guards, and the price is excellent and totally worth it. The bay is huge and there is no better way to see it. I would do it again (on a warmer day :) )

Jet skiing here was absolutely amazing! We were able to jet ski around the aircraft carriers & saw a few dolphins. The staff was friendly & informative about the areas we should ski & provided us with a waterproof bag, so we were able to take photos with views of the stunning San Diego city! All the staff are super nice and friendly, they have fair peice and they dont take a deposit. Theres just a short walk around and they are super easy to deal with. I enjoyed renting 2 jet skis from these guys and Ill definitely come back again. They give you a small waterproof bag for your phone and also a sunglasses holder around your neck - make sure you get that cause i lost my sunglasses in the water - overall super nice place and people and strongly recommend it.

Definitely a wonderful experience. Sam is a great person to work with and took care of our paddle boarding adventure The prices are much better than most of the places here in San Diego. The water is perfect for beginners due to it being so calm in the marina, but it is great if you are a seasoned paddle boarder and just want a nice cruise with beautiful scenery.
