We had an amazing time paddling with Just Kayak! They were very flexible with a change I needed to make in my reservation. Kayaks and SUP were dropped off at the beach and were picked I at the end of the day as promised. Watercraft were in great condition. We hope to paddle with them again!

Our party of three made a reservation at 12 and when we arrived late, Ben and this other lovely lady greeted us with huge smiles on their faces and graciously took the time to go over the safety and kayak procedures. I was already impressed with customer service over phone . Carl was accommodating with our arrival time. Gad a wonderful experience on the water, it was great not having constantly keep track of times, since we had ALL day.Willing to do it again .I have my own kayak,but it limits the space in my car.This was great, no clean up. Just call, boom Carl was there.My phone didnt take good pics, so I have none to share.A great experience all around. Only draw back having to help carry the kayak, after kayaking all day.Thank you

I absolutely loved this company!! Ive rented from other places in the past, but it was very difficult for me to carry paddle boards and kayaks to the bay by myself. Just kayak delivers directly to the water, and picks them back up when ever you are done. Highly recommend this company!

Absolutely five stars. These guys have their act together. Just go online, book a time, park your car near the meeting stop and they show up with really sturdy kayaks. When youre done, just call/text them and they come right over to pick up the kayaks. Mission Bay is so nice and the area available to kayak is so large. These guys run a great service. We met right on the beach near the end of a cup-de-sac. Parking was fairly easy & the check out process super smooth. They kayaks & gear were in great condition & were clean. They gave us suggestions & landmarks to look out for as well. We were able to bring our own snacks and drinks which was awesome! Once we were done, we sent a text & they were there to collect everything bf within 10 minutes. Super nice peeps, definitely gonna book again

First time paddle boarding and my experience with Just Kayak was amazing. They brought my paddle board at the meeting location. The paddle was heavy and the gentleman (sorry forgot his name) was so nice and took it all the way to the water for me, and gave me throughout instructions on how to use it and how to navigate it in the water. I couldnt have asked for better guidance for my first time. I will definitely rent from them again and again. Amazing experience for my first time.

So these guys did a bit of a bait and switch on us, we rented kayaks but they brought something that was clearly not a kayak. My poor friend, his butt was completely submerged the whole time, not cool, and not what was advertised. My kayak was fine. The prices are good but apparently its a gamble. I wish I would have payed full price for a legit rental.

Great Kayaking Service! They met us on the beach with the kayak with quick check-in. We were able to complete everything electronically and prior to our arrival. They allow you to rent the kayak for the entire day, while other kayak rental places only let you rent by the hour. When we were finished, we simply left the kayak on the beach and gave them a call to pick it up. Definitely recommend and will use again!

This trip was planned for my mother’s first time travel to the West Coast. We are originally from New York. However, a couple days before the trip we found out she was diagnosed with cancer and would have to start chemo immediately. As we started to refund everything my mother asked us to take the trip and at the end of the trip fly over to NYC to visit her. With little adjustments I was able to do just that. Kayaking was paramount in the course of our trip because my mom had never been and she was excited. We decided to go anyway and take pictures so that she would be even more excited to go when the chemotherapy is done.When we got to the dock we were greeted by Mitch with a huge smile... even though we were 7 minutes late... SORRY!... He was very helpful and gave us helpful tips to make our time more smooth and fun.We appreciate everything Mitch and Just Kayak! This was amazing and inexpensive. ESPECIALLY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY!!!! ❤️Thank you again!

Had a very good experience with Just Kayaks.Good communication....and considering there is no store front the prices are very good. Reservation and payment went very smooth, then I had to correct some information from the reservation and the reply was quick.At the time of arrival to the beach, the kayak and life vests were ready for us.We paddle around the bay for a couple of hours, went back to the beach to rest, and paddle a few more times throughout the afternoon. Being that we had a long drive home, we return the kayak early and someone was there to receive it and check us in.I am more than up for doing it again on a weekend that is not so crowded, and enjoy a bay with less boats.

Zeek met us at Mission Bay to drop off the kayaks (rental includes lifejackets and paddles) which was great since I dont have a truck. And we just had to call him to pick them up. So easy and friendly. I highly recommend using them.

I’ve rented kayaks in the past, and I’ve never had the option to seat both my kids. Its a dope option to have a triple seated kayak. I didn’t have to drag another person along to ride with one of them. The costumer service was awesome. They pretty much let you do you own thing. They gave us some tips, and then we were on our way. I felt that the price was fair. I will definitely rent from Just Kayak again.

Just Kayak staff are very friendly, super helpful with communication, and made it very easy to access the boards for use in the bay. They literally do all the work, we just get to enjoy the ride. This was really my first time as I only tried it once for 10 minutes before. I rented 2 boards and brought my 13 year old and 14 year old boys. We had the best time! Im hooked and cant wait to do it again. It couldnt have been easier. The boards were all ready for us at the end of Dawes Street and when we were done they were there to take them back. It was such a fun and enjoyable experience and I felt pretty proud of myself as I paddled all over the bay successfully.

Booked a kayak in ten minutes the night before. When I arrived, I was on the kayak and in the water in ten minutes. As I pulled back in 6 hours later, they were there to help me onshore and I was on my way back home. Super easy, very affordable (considering some of the other sites I had checked first), and the staff was friendly and helpful. Ill be back for sure. (Now if they can just start renting boats......!)

Great Experience! Paddle Boards were delivered exactly when scheduled at a very convenient location. My husband and I had never paddle boarded before. Along with the boards we got a few pointers from the staff and were able to spend about a half day paddling around the bay. When we were finished we texted for a pickup. Within 15 minutes our boards were retrieved by a friendly staff member.

While the parking is horrible (okay, it was Labor Day weekend), the service is great. Ben and Lauren had the two double kayaks ready and in less than five minutes we were signed in and ready to hit the bay. Returning was just as easy and efficient.

You guys are wonderful and very professional . I had a kayaking appointment for this weekend coming up but I just fractured my humerus and won’t be able to make it after all . I called them and explained and asked if I could get a refunded and they helped me and wished me a speedy recovery without any problems . Once I’m fully recovered I’m coming back 🤘🏽

I made the reservation online. Got to the beach 5min early. We were all ready to go. I called at the time of the reservation to let them know I was waiting with my family. they told me they would be 30 seconds away. I saw them arrive and waited for them to get them out. They were helping someone out so I let them finish. Until I saw the guy just talking to the other people and flirting with the girls. I waited for over 20min for him to help us and he didnt. I finally called and told him I was watching him flirt with the group of girls. He finally come over to help us. At that point we were all frustrated so we canceled the reservation after wasting our time.After all was said and done. They called at 8pm to ask to remove the bad review. So apparently leaving a bad review for bad experience is NOT allowed. That makes me wonder, how many of the five star reviews are bought or how many bad views were taken down after people were not pleased with their experience with them. That they would rather remove them instead of being harassed.DONT HIRE THEM! SCAMMERS !
