Our family of 5 had a wonderful time renting the 9-passenger speed boat. Check in was a bit chaotic as there was only one person processing new reservations, scheduled reservations and returns. But we got there at the recommended 20 minutes before, they had all my information that I had filled out online so once we got to the front of the line we were on our way before our scheduled 5 pm rental time. Cruising along the San Diego coast was nice. They provided a Bluetooth speaker so our teens could play music. The unrestricted area of the bay isn’t so large so a 90-minute cruise would have been plenty, but it was also nice to have the extra half hour to just relax on the boat. The boat itself was clean and was easy to operate. We were the last booking of the day so return of the boat was easy. They validated our parking which brought the Sheraton hotel parking to $12. I believe others have said there is cheaper parking nearby, but SD Adventure is right outside the Sheraton lobby so parking there is a breeze. Also used the weekday discount offer which made their rental a great deal. Staff was friendly so our experience was very good and I recommend this company.

Booked a boat rental and they somehow ended up double booking so we had to wait an extra hour on the dock AND it was the end of the day so we didn’t get our full 2 hours. They were awesome though, giving us a discount and apologizing. Their service was great and we had an awesome time. Couldn’t give them less stars over an issue that they handled kindly. I’d rent there again any time. The only downside is we couldn’t get the music system to work, but no biggie

If you hate fun then this is not the attraction for you. These things are cutting edge speed machines. It’s like being on a rollercoaster for 75 minuets. Seeing San Diego from the water and mashing out into openness is an epic and memorable time for sure. As someone who likes fun I would highly recommend you get on this. You will not regret or forget shredding the bay with these guys!

We rented 2 Jet Skis for 75 minutes and had the best time! So many spots to check out in the bay. John was super friendly, helpful and informative. It was a busy day for him, but he made sure we were well taken care of and safe.Highly recommend renting Jet Skis here.75 minutes will get you around the bay, but I definitely wished we had more time to explore. I recommend opting for 2 hour rental.

We enjoyed a 2 hour tandem jet ski rental on an absolutely beautiful San Diego day.We ventured to military stops weve been to, were allowed to venture under the Coronado bridge to Gloretta Bay to see the magnificent Hotel Del Coronado. And then back north to see the new shell Pavilion USS Midway our favorite waterfront restaurants. Finally the opening to the Pacific Ocean and Shelter Island Marina. The machine performed well and Dock Master and crew couldnt have been more accommodating. Well be back!!

Awesome experience, not too pricey and super fun. We got to ride their 2020 jet ski, very pretty lime green and super fast! They give you a run down of where you can venture in the SD bay and a good safety run down before venturing on your own. They also have guided tours for those who aren’t as daring with water! Amazing time, highly recommended!

Everyone was so nice. I’m an idiot and thought I made my reservation for 9:30 but it was actually 9:00. They were kind enough to work with me so I was still able to ride. Such a fun experience all around. I would HIGHLY recommend renting jet skis from here. Best price around and best customer service around.

SD Adventures is a fantastic company!!! John is the best!! We rented 5 jet skis today and had way more fun than we thought we would! John explained everything to us about how to operate the jet skis! A few people in our party were very nervous but John and Juan made them feel so comfortable. Sadly we only rented for 75 minutes. Next time we will definitely rent for longer!!! Thank you so much!!!

They also take into account travel time through the no wake zone you have to pass through to get harbor and add it onto the hour. The equipment was modern and in good condition. Without a single doubt, the ENTIRE experience from calling to find out if a fifth ski could be added to our reservation of four(the limit on the day we chose) up to welcoming us so wonderfully, to the instruction and reassurances to our two new riders that everything will be great...add in the humor and care they took with us from shove off to coming back in...the whole group was the best. We WILL be back again...hopefully sooner than later!!! Absolutely a near perfect (my wife was hesitant to go out into the open waters...but had a blast in the harbor!) morning! THANK YOU ALL!

Had a great time. We rented a 9 passenger boat for two hours. The time previous I went there I rented Jet Skis with a friend.Everything was so much. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was due to the price. It was very expensive to rent the boat. But would I do it again YES!!!

My wife and I rented a jetski. Our reservation was originally messed up but quickly corrected once pointed out to the manager. We were adequately trained and informed of navigation rules before we went out on the harbor. First time jetsking. We had a great time. Recommended.

It was an amazing experience. The staff was super nice and thorough at disinfecting the boat before and after our use. We highly recommend their services. And a BIG Thank you to John for his friendliness.

Fun times. Smooth transaction and friendly staff. Only drawback is it takes a good 10 minutes to get through the ‘no wake’ zone before getting to open water and you have to be back 15 minutes before your 90 minutes is up for them to prep vehicle for next party. That leaves less than 60 minutes of real drive/fun time.

Gavin was really awesome. I had an issue with redeeming my Groupon and within minutes he was able to get me booked through Facebook Messanger even though their offices where closed. When I arrived early for my appointment he even let me start early so I didnt have to wait 30 minutes until my set appointment. He showed me where I could go and explained all the features of the jetski. I also appreciate he provided me with a complimentary waterproof phone holder to prevent it from getting corrosive salt water damage. The equipment was great and could really handle any waves or wake thrown at it. I also appreciate that they give you an extra 15min on top of the 60min as getting out of the no wake zone does take several minutes. Having tried other jet ski rentals in the San Diego area I think this will be my go to one whenever I come back down here. Riding down the San Diego harbour provides great views of Navy & Cargo Ships as well as the glistening buildings of downtown San Diego. Something you wouldnt get in Mission Bay. The last time cancellation ruined our most anticipated activity in SD.They didn’t think about sending us the email earlier but complain us missed their calls. But the truth is I called back and sent messages. The confirmation is still valid the day before. And they chose to just kill our reservation without any effort to assist us reschedule.

We rented 2 jet skis for 2 hours. It was a great time. John was very nice. Water was extremely rough out in the bay. Don’t let the marina fool you. 100% rent the wet suits. Do NOT swear your regular clothes, you’re going to get soaked no matter what. Overall good experience. They were offering 25% off so I went with them.Now the negative: We showed up 45 minutes early to our 11:15am start time to ensure we would get out in time and back by 1:15pm because we had other plans that started shortly after that. John was very busy and made us wait around. We were ready to go before 11. Then there was 2 guys who were going out at the same time as us that showed up at 11. John made us wait for them because he wanted to launch us all at the same time. They were only going out for 75 minutes. We didn’t launch until 11:45am by the time John went through all the safety briefing and further information with them(a second time with us). He did say we didn’t have to be back until 1:45. However, we had plans for the next event and still had to come back at 1:15. We still had to pay the full 2 hours. All the correspondence you receive make it very known to show up on time or you will not get your time back. But when they aren’t timely, it’s okay? I didn’t like that.2nd: the 2 guys who showed up after us did not rent wet suits. There had all of the clothes they showed up in still on, including there shoes. It must have been there first time on a jet ski. John has been doing this a long time. He knew they were going to get absolutely soaked. However, he chose not to warn them. This is the first time I rode a jet ski on the ocean, I didn’t even realize how wet and cold it would be. We almost didn’t get the wet suits either. So because he won’t tell you, do NOT wear the clothes that you show up in!!!!!Parking was $12 at the hotel with the voucher you receive.Hope this helps!!

The experience was awesome. The attendees were very friendly and professional, explained the use of the jet skis very well. The adhered to the county rules and made my friends and I feel very safe. The only downside is getting out there and back through the no wake zone took a good chunk of time from riding the jet skis but that’s not their fault, we were too excited to go out. Will definitely return next time we’re in San Diego and this time we would book the skis for 2 hours. Worth it! Make your reservations early, they get booked up quick.

Excellent boat ride yesterday 9/6/2020 at the San Diego Bay. We did the 2 hours and it was such a fun ride. Boat had a cover but I preferred up front. The staff was great. I just had a hard time finding the place. Went to the address andWas given a ticket, told to go to Bay front hotel, it’s the Sheraton Bay front hotel (easier to see Sheraton) from the address where we got the ticket, go right, it curves to the right and go park at the Sheraton bay front hotel pull ticket, and park. Then go towards the front of the hotel and go around to the back and follow the path until you see a whale fountain, keep going a little further and you will see SS adventures! couldn’t find SD adventures and had to ask several people. It was hot so made it more difficult.I won’t mark them down for that maybeUpdate their email. Loved it!’n

We rented out Jet Skis from them and had an absolutely great time. Justin and his co-workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Explained us the all the controls with ease and also the traffic rules for avoiding us getting a speed ticket from the coast guards. The Jetskis were very well maintained and the wet suits were all dry and clean. we had a hell of a time exploring San Diego Harbor area on them. We did had some parking ticket issues because the pass was not working but they were quick to get it resolved. Enjoyed the time and Will definitely recommend them to others.

We stayed here in harbor island for 2 days and rented first day a boat second day jet skiBoth days were a blast so much fun, Gavin took care of us, he made us feel welcome explained everything so we could be safe me and my wife. What an awesome experience it is to come to a San Diego Hotel @ Sheraton on the water with gorgeous views and so many activities to choose from. The daily yoga classes are at 9:00 am and afterwards paddle out on the harbor with a choice of Ocean Kayaks, SUP Boards, jet skis & boats!! So fun! There is also dolphin & whale watching charters/tours next door @ Adventure Rib Rides.Great job guys & gals for your friendly attitudes and good advice!Highly recommend.

We had a blast on our jet ski’s yesterday!! Everyone was friendly when we got there and it was such an easy process on renting the jet ski’s. Only thing that was surprising was there wasn’t really any social distancing there especially during times like this. None of the employees in the check in area were wearing a mask & no one was enforcing social distancing. Everyone was passing by us going into the small room where we leave our belongings. Only one that was wearing a mask were the guys that were instructing us on how to use the jet ski’s.

We were so happy with the service that we rented the 6 pax boat twice!

Derick was awesome! We rented a speed boat and were out on the water in about 15 minutes. It was a blast. We were able to cruise past an aircraft carriers, some old sailing ships and see the SD bay. Five stars

Went for the whale and dolphin watching cruise. Kirk was a great captain, very entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. Did not have a lot of luck, but he was very determined and kept going until we were finally able to locate a pod of dolphins. Was a great experience.would love to do it again.

Captain Rick was the absolute best! We went whale watching and saw bottle nose dolphins and two huge Fin whales and a baby!!! It was one of the most magical things I have ever seen and Captain Rick has such a respect for the ocean and animals that he delicately got us near them. He is the best and I’m SO happy he was our captain!!!

Perfect rental experience.

Not the greatest experience but still had a lot of fun. The boat had some type of engine failure which caused it to keep turning off. Kinda concerning for the kids but it was a simple issue that once I was able to get through on the phone, they walked us through fixing it. I just feel like it was something they should have checked prior to our use. The Bluetooth speaker they gave us had no battery 🔋. They also said they provide towels which they do not. Then they never returned our credit card (my bad too) but when we went back they couldn’t find it! Ultimately they did and all was well.

This was my husband and I first time ever on a jet ski, and we had so much fun.The SD adventure team made us feel so comfortable, I found them on groupon and made a reservation, cause of course its summer time and everyone would love to get on a jet ski specially in the San Diego beach. Its not to hard to find. You need to go to the Shraton hotel parking they have a designated parking, they do have a Sheraton employee at the entrance that can tell you exactly where you can park, after you need to pretty much walk straight thru the casino towards the back thats where the beach is and where youll find the dock for SD adventure. If you do take some personal belongings they have a couple of medium size cubbies, I used one and left my shorts and our towels but cash, debit card and CC I took with me on a water proof pouch I got from Amazon as well as my phone in a water proof liner. The instructor was very knowledgeable and very funny. Will definitely rent with them again.
