Daniel was my barber... excellent job. Friendly service. Good stories. Shared laughs. Great hidden gem. Hard to find parking. Probably good for local residents who could walk. Or nearby hotel guests.

Ive used this shop three times, I believe. They do good-enough hair cuts. Nothing amazing, but fits the price.My experience with the shop has been different though. It always felt like I was an annoyance when I tried to do a walk-in. Feeling like I could do a little better to help them out, I decided to make an appointment for my 3rd trip. I went in the day before at 6pm and made an appointment for 10amon 08/07the next morning when they opened up.I showed up at the shop about 15 minutes before they opened to find another person waiting as well. I thought it was odd since I had an appointment when they opened up, but maybe they had multiple people coming in at opening. While waiting, I find out the guy had an appointment as well. The first person didnt show up until 10:10am to open the shop, and they immediately took the person who was there when I arrived. I waited until about 10:15 when it became apparent to me that the shop either 1.) double booked 10am appointments with only 1 person to open the shop 2.) Was supposed to have 2 people opening the shop and both were late 3.) They never bothered to verify who has appointment times when.I had somewhere to be at 11:00 which is why I made the appointment. I ended up cancelling my appointment in the shop because it was looking like I would not be able to get a haircut and make my other appointment. (The barber did apologize when I said to cancel the appointment, but it doesnt really hold much weight for me)OK barber shop if you happen to be downtown and realize that you have time to get one. Ill be looking for a different shop through for my regular haircut needs.

Really Good Cut, Barber fit me in on short notice and left me with a great cut. If I ever return to the area that would be that spot I go to.

These guys are great!! Gio is a great guy, makes you feel welcome at all times. Abe is my guy!! Puts up with twisted sense of humor and does a excellent job every cut.

Great last minute cut, I really enjoyed my hair cut. Don’t remember who was my barber, I believe he had glasses on. I was a walk in appointment. He went out of his way and stopped his lunch break to take care of me. If you’re in downtown San Diego make sure to stop by or give them a call to see if they are available. It was awesome!

Mitch Barber shop was spectacular I was very fortunate to have a wonderful stylist by the name of Rita. I have difficult hair but she did a spectacular job and was very thoughtful and giving me what I believe is a excellent haircut Mitchs Barber shop great five stars, ask for Rita. Okay.

Great set up chic/modern but One of the worst barbershops in San Diego. Huge turn over in barbers The owner is a narcissist who raises the price every visit. His own employee called him out for giving a different price. I would not recommend this place AT ALL!

Since I live downtown the barber shop is very convenient for me to walk to. Abraham has given me my last two haircuts and he does a very good job, very satisfied! Toby, the owners dog is too cute!

You need to get your hair cut by Abraham. He is the best in the city and really humble. If he was in the bay area there would a line down the block and he would be charging twice the amount!

Great haircut for the price.Angelo is my main guy - he offers more of a classic cut.However, I received a cut from Krystal today and she spent a meticulous amount of time on my hair, showing great care. Her style is more modern which is great but I prefer more of a classic cut.

I was visiting San Diego and simply asked a patron on the bus about locating a barbershop. I was luckily referred to this shop. Quincy, did an outstanding job on my haircut and I left satisfied. The barbershop was also clean and the owner treated me in a professional manner.

Convenient with no wait time, but seems overpriced for the quality. I didnt take them up on the shampoo, but I suppose the $25 cut-and-shampoo is justified because they offered it.Cut was okay. Uneven on the top, and a little too short on the too-short side. It was my first time here so length on top could have just been a miscommunication. Fade on the side is fine, no lines there.

If you ask for a taper or a fade the barber literally thinks you mean a TRIM. I doubt he knows how to fade or give tapers. I paid $35 dollars for something my 16 year old brother can do for $10.I asked for a beard trim and the dude not only messed up the left side of my beard but didn’t even line it up! Never going here again the customer service is good but the barber Omar is not.

Stylist expected the customer to know exactly what he wants and how to cut it rather than working with him to come up with a haircut that looks good on him. Many other hairdressers in the neighborhood would do a much better job cutting men’s hair. Avoid.

I stopped in here for a haircut while I was on vacation and was very happy with the excellent service and cut I received. After a quick Google search I figured I would give them a try and I am glad I did. Best haircut I have had in years. The barber was super on point and knew exactly what she was doing. The owner offered me a cold beer while I goty mcut which was awesome and delicious lol. Highly recommend!

Not a good fade, I had to point out that the sides were not even height. Took 4 attemps to even it out and once it was even it still isnt anything great. The A/C was turned off so the place was hot inside. They turned it on once I said its hot in here. Can not recommend.

Im a salon owner from Miami Beach. Im in town for a few days in need of a fresh cut and some line work. Upon entering a gentleman named Gio greeted me with a warm welcome, offered me refreshments and introduce me to the stylist. It turns out that he is the owner and you couldnt ask for a better host. The place is super clean and fresh with a downtown vibe. The stylists name is Christina and she is professional and very surgical with her clippers. She has a steady hand and a well honed technique. As a stylist myself and a salon owner Im extremely particular and critical of other peoples work. This place is amazing and the price point is extremely fair for the quality of work and the atmosphere. I highly recommend it

I cant speak on the quality of the haircuts. But, I made an appointment and arrived mid-workday for a cut. In hopes of getting a haircut and getting back to the office. However, I was told I would be waiting 20 additional minutes before a stylist could see me. So, I left.
