Jameson is an outstanding barber. Hes easy to talk to and makes getting a haircut simple.The barbershop has a cool guys-guy type feel and reminds me of the barbershops my dad used to take me to as a kid. Ill definitely go back and I recommend it to anyone in the area.

I unfortunately found this spot in just my last year living in San Diego, but I was really glad I did. This guy knows how to cut hair and listens to exactly how you want it. He makes sure he gets a good grasp of the look you want and performs. Now that Im living in the Bay Area, Ive had such a hard time finding a barber that listens and cuts my hair how I want it. Definitely recommend this shop.

The barber here is a cool guy and gives a fresh cut. He will spend the time he needs to make sure it looks good, and adjusts the haircut based on your request. Definitely worth going here.

I visit BRBS every two weeks for a terrific haircut and great conversation with longtime owner Jameson. Check out all the very satisfied repeat customers giving reviews here.That alone tells us plenty about this excellent one-man shop. Jameson is definitely doing things right. (The two naysaying reviewers here have obvious social and relationship problems that Jameson cannot fix. He can fix bad hair, but he cant fix a bad attitude.)

I have been looking for a GOOD Barber shop in San Diego for years, And Bird Rock Barber Shop is the best, Ive ever gone too ! I dont live close, but it is so worth the drive. The owner is very knowledgeable and good at what he does !!!
