Just had Tyler cut my hair and clean up my beard. One word...Outstanding! She took her time and I havent had a better experience in a barber shop. Cant wait to go back!

Fantastic environment for adults and my kids. We walked in, had a nice greeting and were immediately helped. Everyone was friendly and the area was unique and tidy. We will definitely return.

Of all the barbershop Ive been in, JJs is hands down one of the best! Theres no other place in PB I trust. The overall atmosphere is amazing from the decor and vibe to the great staff of barbers they have across the board. Bree has been the best and is the main reason I keep coming back. From the very first cut, she always exuded the utmost level of professionalism while still finding a way to keep things fun and light throughout the whole experience. The haircut and beard trim are also top notch!No matter the day, I always leave feeling better than I did when I came in. If youre in Pacific Beach and need to get cleaned up, I definitely reccomend Bree and JJs barbershop for all of your grooming needs!

JJs barbershop is a very professional and welcoming atmosphere to those in need of a cut. They take walk ins and appointments so do not worry about being turned away because you did not schedule an appointment like most other shops in PB! Nam specifically treats barbering as an art and passion and it is easily shown in the quality and effort he puts into his haircuts. I can not imagine how I was going anywhere else beforehand because JJs is really the best barbershop in town!

This is the best barber shop in San Diego. Always leave there looking fresh. I make an appointment but they take walk-ins too. Very cool looking shop. You’ll see what I mean when you go there. The owner Nam is a super friendly guy. Treats customers like family. You can’t go wrong with any of the barbers that work there. No doubt you’ll leave with a perfect fade. They do female cuts too. It’s also next door to what I believe to be the best burger in San Diego. Just walk out the door and take about 10 steps to the left and you’re there. A fresh cut followed by a phenomenal burger and local craft beer. Can’t go wrong. Go to JJ’s Barber Shop.

Stopped by on a whim to get a straight razor shave and a hair trim. Great work on both. Very happy about the service and will revisit.

I called last minute to ask about walking in. They gave me an appointment about 20 minutes from the time I called which was perfect for me. I only waited about 10 minutes after checking in, and the barber that cut my hair understood exactly how to cut my hair after I told him what I wanted. I cant remember his name but he was on the far right and was wearing a flat cap hat. The cut took about an hour in total as he took his time to make sure the cut was as clean as possible. I was very happy with the quality of the haircut. It was a great experience, a clean location and a friendly environment. I felt safe the whole time as staff was wearing masks and gloves, and there were only 3 barbers working in the shop when I was there. I will make a point to return here when I need a cut in the area.

Great experience overall. Called the night before and managed to get an appointment for first thing in the morning. I told Nam (the owner) I needed to look good for a wedding and he went to work. Cut was a little lengthy (~75 mins) but I got the best fade I’ve had in years. Would definitely go back next time I’m in the area!

I would not consider myself a religious man but after Bree cut my hair it was as if chef Jesus came down from heaven and served me up a delicious visual meat pie.

Really you guys ?? I come in for a Straight Razor head shave, and a beard trim, when the woman was done she said $70 please... prices are listed as follows: Hot Towel Shave $35, Haircut $20, Beard Trim $15... I was charged for all 3, even though I’m bald with stubble and paid 35 for a head shave, I shouldn’t also be charged for a haircut ?? I think the owner was out of the office and someoene was just trying to pocket another $20. Will not return. $35 is high enough for a shave, but $70 for a mustache trim and minimal beard trim plus a shave is out of this world... she asked where I was from, I told her Arizona because that’s where I’m from, however I have lived in PB for 2 years and like to try out new barbers from time to time, but save your money on this one, try Lefty’s

Cheap and easy. $15 (if you pay cash) for a basic haircut. No line, no small talk, just a quick quality haircut.

First negative review I’ve ever given in my life but this was warranted. All of the barbers cut hair at a snails pace, beyond slow. You have 4 people cutting hair at once but no one seems to be able to get the job done. I’m not even sure if one of the guys cutting hair even trusted himself cutting. The look on his face said it all. It looked like he was trying to solve an extremely long and difficult math problem. After waiting the hour my turn finally came and then I was told I had to wait for another opening because there was someone else ahead of me but I had not seen this guy for the past hour. The barber said he was out “getting something to eat”. This place is an absolute joke.

Great service and haircuts, but cash-only is kind of a bummer.
