Andy is definitely the best one there and is very professional. He gave me the best cut i’ve gotten in a while and i’ll definitely continue going there.

Worst haircut of my my entire 35 years life, I paid $35 for a haircut that my 5 year old nephew could have given me at home. I can not believe the professionalism of this place. Guy who was cutting my hair was constantly on his phone he even made a call while cutting my hair. Save your $$$$$ and go some where cheaper and better.

Getting haircuts here is like playing Russian roulette. Barbers vary in experience level, so you never know what you’re going to get. Been here twice now, first cut was good but my second one makes me wanna wear a hat for a month. Honestly you could probably find a cheaper alternative, $30 for inconsistent cuts is not worth the hassle.

These guys always do an amazing job. My high fade / mohawk / beard are always on point when I leave.

I was in the service for some time and always needed a haircut, so I’ve been to all the barbers in SD.Except for this one.I did not discover these guys until I was out of the service and I wish I had before. These guys are the BEST in SD and I’ll let that speak for itself.Ive personally got a cut from every one of the barbers and they all know their craft.My go-to and because he was the first barber available my very first time in the shop is Ameer.A quality cut every time I walk out of this place.

Ive been going here since before brothers took over, and everything is now significantly more expensive with less chairs available, so the wait time is even longer. Also theyve added an atm since they dont accept card, and the ATM double charges a $2.50 fee (so really its $5). On top of already charging $30 for a haircut, then if you want to tip like $5 which is kinda low then there you go youve spent $40 on a fade.

Looks like I’m wearing a bowl on my head. Dude cut my hair in 10mins, while on his phone the entire time. Very unprofessional, overpriced and poor quality.

Right up front, there is some truth in advertising that needs to be addressed. Not all the barbers are brothers. There is a cousin or two mixed in, as well.Its not the cheapest barbershop around. Youll probably have to wait a few minutes, even with four or five barbers cutting. The televisions are usually tuned to something not worth watching.So, why five stars? Because youll get a great haircut. All of the barbers will take as long as needed to make you look sharp. If youre into fades or more fashionable cuts, theyll do a top-notch job. If you want a flattop, they can do that, too. Even if you just want a classic even it up and clean it up, youll come out looking great.And that, my friends, is what makes a barbershop worth five stars.

Haircut looks good. The guy who straight-razored the back of my neck either pressed too hard or held the razor at a bad angle and ended up scratching up my neck pretty badly. The picture was taken a few hours after getting my haircut.

It was my first time there, alittle nervous...i was there first thing in the morning. The guys greeted me and were friendly. I didnt wait long...Mike cut my hair perfectly and made me feel comfortable....i will definitely be returning..great place I think I found my new spot

They do not accept cards for one thing and one of the guys is super rude, I dont know if its the rona vibe or something but totally uncalled for. Good with the skill but could be better with customer service.

The haircut was fine but the barber kept slapping my head kind of aggressively while scissor cutting the top and I got a rash from his straight razor line up finish.

Great place. Highly recommend. Alex and I exchanged pleasantries and spoke maybe five sentences to one-another through my haircut, but I dont know if this man is telepathic or something because I told him what I wanted and half an hour later I was walking out of the shop with the most perfect haircut I could ask for. Unbeatable price, too, at least for what Ive found since moving to North County.

My boyfriend loves this barber shop! Its a bit more expensive than his previous barber, however he says its definitely worth it. Im warning you though, there is typically a 30+ minute wait, but the services are so great that it is worth it! We always recommend the brothers to all our friends! Great work, great atmosphere!!

I read the reviews to this place and it was up and down. They are definitely busy but it’s definitely worth the wait. Those dudes hustle and still put it it a good cut. I’ve been searching for a while for a good barber who was good that could trim beards. I truly say I have finally found one. Melad is the man! That dude knows his a stuff. This place is a cash only place which I could see being inconvenient but at least I know before hand I show up to grab some cash before going to get a trim. Some people I can see not wanting to wait but when you find a good barber it’s worth it!

These guys are awesome with fades! $20 for a haircut is the norm for a quality fade. Place can get busy at times and seating is limited. I avoid this place on the weekends and try to come on weekdays. They even cut kids hair too. Ive gotten a haircut from every barber here anf never had a bad cut from any of them.

The wait can be longer than youre used to, but even when the place is packed Ive never had to wait for more than an hour, theyre very efficient.The work they do is well worth the wait. I have a full beard and Ive never found a place that trims it so well. The haircut is stellar as well. Even though they are efficient, they take time to do all of the little things to ensure youre getting a very high quality cut. Ive sat with almost every barber and I have no complaints with any of them. Theyre very receptive to what you want and Ive always walked out loving my cut.

I thought Brothers were black men cutting hair. Lol, its not but they can cut black folks hair well, too. My son gets a nice cut. Normally about a 40 minute wait if you want a specific barber.This next part is an update. Its 2-13-19 I dont go here any more. No one remembers my son or how his haircut. I can never get the same guy unless I wait awhile. Sometimes they speak in their native tongue. Its like when you go to the nail salon you know theyre talking about you. One can only hope its something good. I changed barbershops. I take my son to Country Club Barbers because you can make an appointment and the guys are really nice accommodating.

Finally found a place that cuts my hair consistently no matter which barber I go to. What makes this place even better is the price. They are definitely lower in price but high in quality. Try to go during non peak hours otherwise you will find yourself waiting for a long time.

The price was bit high. The hair stylish was too rough with the comp no my head. And the worst thing is, I hate when the hair stylist is busy talking with someone while doing his job.

Didn’t understand this place and great reviews. Ask to make something short but not bald :) and got simplest machine cut for $20 . Regular military cut for $10 is much better.

Best barber I found near Poway. Just keep in mind cash only, they just installed a ATM inside but if your bank gives you a fee for that one theres a 7 eleven next door. They always do a good job and never walked out with a bad cut. It gets pretty busy around afternoon traffic, Ive had to wait outside before the line was so long but its worth it I trust these guys.

Had to wait 45 minutes on a monday. Asked the barber for a 3 on the sides and 1/2 inch off the top. He then proceeds to neglect everything I said and gives me a 2 on the sides and cuts a good inch and a half off the top. And to top everything off he decides to use a straight razor on my back neckline without any CREAM. Major razor burn!

I took my first trip there today. It was a small shop but much to my surprise there were 5 barbers working. There is obviously a demand for their service as many guys were waiting. I was asked my name upon entering and after about ten minutes called by name to the next open chair. My barbers name was Alex, he was very obviously an experienced barber having cut hair for thirty years. He was very friendly and did one of the best jobs on my hair in years. Bring cash because cards are not accepted but they have a very convenient in store ATM. I will definitely return to Brothers Barber shop in the future and I am very glad I went. The first lady I went to in San Diego screwed up my hair and left a giant welt on the back of my neck the guys were great and they finished with a straight razor, very nice touch. Ill be back very soon.

Every time I get a haircut here, its exactly what I want. It is a barber shop though. It is not a beauty salon. Dont go in expecting to get the the beauty salon experience. All of the barbers are great too, any one of them will give you the haircut youre asking for and do a fantastic job of it.

This place is steadily going downhill. I have reviewed it positively once before because I liked the haircut, and I was fine when they started jumping up their rates. Now they say that they are a cash-only business and will not take a card. This is what the lower-class, usually struggling/temporary barbers do to avoid paying fees and of course, taxes. Disappointing, its time to find a new barber shop.

Today was my first visit to Brothers Barber Shop, when I walked in the place was packed but the barbers were all working efficiently. The haircuts walking out looked sharp. If I wasnt bald...I would be confident my hair game would be upgraded in there. Anyway, Atheer did a great job on my beard trim. I walked in Duck Dynasty and walked out with swagger. The straight edge shave was a nice bonus. Ill be a regular.

The haircut was great, the prices reasonable, and I could not recommend this place more.Note: He told me he bought the place about 6 months ago, so there has ostensibly been a change of ownership lately.

Yes. It took the guy like 10 minutes to cut my hair. He simply used the trimmer all over and messed up my hair. If you want a messed up hair in 10 minutes go for it! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BARBERSHOP TO ANYONE!

I have been getting my hair cut almost every week for the past 10 years from all over the US due to work. This is my opinion from my experience so far..Pro- fairly consistent with a skin fade ( not the easiest), skilled with a straight razor and very polite barbers.Cons- almost $20 for a hair cut, which to me is over priced for a basic hair cut, also, if you plan of getting a quick haircut this is not the place for you. Wait time is usually an hr. And theres only about 6 people there. Ive spent a lot of time with a lot more people, with same amount of barbers and only had to wait about 30 min with the same quality hair cut.

Its a real old school barber shop.The lounge is nice and the haircuts are always spot on. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but I wouldnt get my hair cut at a barber that had no wait. Worth it.

Really friendly crew who always make my kids feel comfortable and very detailed whether it is a haircut or shave. It has become a popular place so there is usually a wait but its worth it plan to wait at least an hour or call ahead.
