Scheduled service because it was the soonest after the holidays out of the 4 other centers in the area...but that’s where I went wrong. I went 3 whole days since I dropped off my Corvette there and did not get any sort of update about it’s issues until I decided to just come back to the service center and get an update myself to take back my car and go to my normal, trusted, and much better service center.

They overcharged BIG TIME!! Then we had an issue less than a month later, instead of taking care of it (you know, great customer service) they tried to blame the issue on me. And they did not call us or return any of our calls for 4 days, they just blew is off 😡 I feel they should have repaired the issue without charging. We paid over $4,000 less then a month ago to have everything redone, fixed to make it like new....and they charged us less then $1,000 this time. SMH. I will NEVER GO BACK.

Normally I would give it 5 stars as Mike K and team are awesome and that had been my experience before. So 5* for Mike. But just recently got Brandon C as an advisor and it just didnt click, a sloppy, inattentive approach with bad communication. Since it the rona time, also no gloves etc. Just not the experience you want to have. Otherwise they got the job done.

I own a Pontiac G5. I experienced sometimes a jerking of the car, and a temporal stalling of the engine. I went to City Chevrolet San Diego and reported these problems. Over more than one month, I received a lot of recommended repairs, but none of them fixed the problem. On the contrary, it got worse. After their repairs, the jerking started every time I had to push the accelerator a little bit more, especially when going uphill or on bumpy roads. Finally, they came up with another recommendation “Test indicate wear at the pressure plate or clutch. Recommend removal of transmission and inspect to determine replacement.” A repair which would have cost me at least $1500 on labor – I declined.In July, I opened the engine hood myself. I found that two of the four plugs that connect the wiring harness with the spark plugs were loose, and that the wire tubes surrounding the harnesses were missing at several positions, even at a position where the wires touched directly the hot engine. I tightened the two plugs, and I covered the wiring with heat resistant electrical tape. I test drove the car, and all problems disappeared – I could even completely push down the accelerator without any jerking, which was not possible after their repairs. On Tuesday July 30th, I went from San Diego to LA airport and back. The car behaved completely normal without any problems. Even if there was no fraudulent intention, it is a shame that the professionals of a certified Chevrolet service were not able to detect this obvious problem, while a layman was able to fix it within one hour.The bottom line is that I paid City Chevrolet $900 for unnecessary repairs, and they wanted to charge me at least $1500 more for another repair that would not have fixed the problem.

Had a 7:30am appointment for an oil change. That one service ended up taking 4 hours. The saving grace was the employee found out I had an additional service remaining on my contract so the service was covered. But disappointed in the length of time it took.

First experience with any Chevrolet dealership. John took my info, ensured warranty repair was ordered, and kept me updated on repair progress for a check engine light. John carefully explained the service bulletin requiring a software update. All of this only took about 90-minutes. Thanks John.

After a horrible experience with Courtesy Chevrolet in mission valley with the service advisor by the name of Andy(Name Drop... Fight me)City Chevrolet has come through! Shout out to my new service advisor Jose Hernandez and Cynthia. From the moment I called I got the warm and fuzzy. They went out of their way to help me and get my Silverado taken care of! Not many people in their industry care as much as they do. I will DEFINITELY be returning!
