Bonds performs all of the work on my car whenever I need it. This time, they most definitely, literally, saved my life when they figured out why my brakes were grabbing. I was going to be fatally rear-ended or hit some way if this would have continued. With all of the indicator lights and signals that my car has, there was no way to know that the brake lines were lined with rubber that were collapsing when I would brake, but wouldnt give again when Id release my foot from the brakes. When they solved the mystery, my car was able to stop and go when I needed it to, something we take for granted until were stuck and cant move, and theres another vehicle barreling towards you!!Thank you Bonds. Needed both driver and passenger side axles replaced. Bonds was recommended by one of my wifes friends. Called Bonds and was told to drop of my van before 1730. When we dropped it off I was told that it would be ready before close of business the next day, and it was. My van has almost 270K miles and I know it needs other work done, but they didnt try upselling any additional work. I will definitely take my van back to these folks in the future and recommend them to anyone who reads this post.

Being new to the area, I had no idea on where to go to get my car fixed, my co worker referred me to this place and I will greatly be thankful for her referral. I was in need of some minor auto body work, I emailed pictures of my damage to Nichole. She was extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable with what she was talking about. I brought my car in and she told me exactly what needed to be done. Called on a Friday to bring my car in on a Monday. She estimated it would take 4-5 days and it was completed my Friday! She went above and beyond to make sure that my car was going to look great and even recommended additional work to be added. They work with you and are very reasonable in pricing, especially if you are paying out of pocket and not going through insurance. Worked with Tim while I was there earlier today. Had the brakes and an oil change done on my Porsche Boxster. This is my first High Performance vehicle and my first time visiting this shop. Im very glad I was able to find a place I can take this vehicle to get the quality products it needs with really great personal service. While I was at the counter talking it through with Tim he showed me the parts online that would do the job and made his recommendations. He showed me their costs for the parts and we ordered the ones that I wanted. They were delivered within the hour. I was shown my brakes that I ordered beforehand, German made European Steel. Not some cheap made in China crap. They did the Oil change for me at the same time. They used Total Brand Synthetic Racing Oil.Afterward I was given a breakdown of my Bill for all the parts at the prices that we had ordered them for and an upfront cost for labor. I took my Sonata in for a quote on front end damage. They gave me an honest quote, Almost what the insurance company determined. Not only did they do an impressive job, they also gave me priority because they knew I was paying for my rental car myself, not covered by insurance. They also fixed a scratch on the rear bumper, and did such a great job I couldnt even find it and I knew where it was. Instead of charging me to change out my entire rear bumper, which is what the other company told me I had to do, Bonds was able to do he work for a fraction of the cost,Do I recommend Bonds to my friends and acquaintances, You bet I do!

Was really unsatisfied going here because its reviews were good and so we thought wed be treated properly. Unfortunately they quoted our issue way too high and were overcharging around $500. I understand paying for labor but the parts itself are $150 and we were quoted $500 more than that. I had a great mechanic in AZ and was hoping to find one here in SD but this is not the place for me and I do not recommend it to others. Wish I didnt pay them to look at it because I was given a better offer elsewhere.

I just need to put this out there for you guys. I had my jeep worked on by Rancho Jeep. I had what appeared to be a transmission problem and they replaced my torque converter for almost $2000. They then said I needed my transmission rebuilt for $3000. Needless to say it was a huge fiasco that I have documented. I ended up taking it to Bond’s Automotive on El Cajon Blvd. and they discovered that it needed a software upgrade. They saved me thousands of dollars and Mike Bond the owner of the shop followed up with me personally. I can’t say enough about their professionalism Service and honesty.If you need somewhere to take your vehicle where you can trust I highly recommend them.

Had trouble with my Jeep suspension. Turns out to be a minor problem. Did not try to over charge me and sent me away. The front desk workers are really nice and are not trying to nickel and dime you. I will be back and reccomend you go here if you need your vehical worked on.

I have been a customer of Bonds for 18 or 19 years. Mike Bond has seen me through 3 cars, has always taken great care of my cars and has never taken advantage of my lack of automotive knowledge. Ive trusted him with jobs big and small & he has never let me down. He has an awesome, friendly, knowledgable staff as well. Most recently, I took my car in to see why my check engine light was on. He ran a quick diagnostic check, and could have run more costly tests on the car, but we decided, based on the test results & his experience, to replace the gas cap to see if that solved the problem. It did. So, I have peace of mind and it didnt cost me the arm and leg that most auto shops would have wound up charging me. Not only that, he noticed a noise that seems to be getting worse, yet nobody, not even the Dealer, can diagnose....he took the time to tighten everything down & educated me about the possible problems & made some solid recommendations. He is about keeping us safe on the road, not making a buck. Highly recommend this shop! You wont be disappointed.

They were the ONLY shop that took the time to find a problem with my convertible years ago after taking it to several mechanics and from that day on I was sold.
