Stay away, this guy is horrible at communication and extremely unorganized.My refrigerator water dispenser was damaged. I called the manufacture immediately in which they gave me Martin Appliance as a reference. He came out within a week (2-14-14) to diagnose, and then had to order a part form the manufacture.Down hill from here on out..He told me it would be 7-10 days for the item to come in, so I waited. Two weeks passed and I heard nothing, I then called him to get an updated, no answer so I left a message. Let a few more days pass left messages and still nothing and did this for the next month. Finally after a month, he answered just to tell me the item was on back ordered, I called the manufacture just to check and they confirmed there where 76 of them available.At the point I was frustrated and asked the manufacture to reach out to him. They called him while I was on the phone and told him the part is available and ready for order. Had to wait another 7-10 days for them to ship the item to Martin Appliance. I then tried Martin Appliance after waiting 10 days to see if the part came in, of course no answer and left a message. Called the manufacture again and they said he had received the part. I then asked the manufacture to reach out to him again to set up the repair, they said he will call me to set up an appointment. Two days went by and I called him, we answered and said he has the part and can he come on Saturday April 26th from 9am-11am. Even thought that time didnt work for me since my children are in sports, I stayed behind in hopes to get this refrigerator fixed. As, pattern hold true, he was a no show and wouldnt answer his phone.I waited around all day for him and not even the courtesy to tell me hes not coming!Now it is May 5th and still no refrigerator working, but I do have another company coming out tomorrow.
WARNING! Most likely worst repair man in San Diego. Had issues the first month with my new GE appliance, needed a new motor. Warranty sent james martin. He informed me that i would need several parts some of which were back ordered for over a week. I proceeded to call ge and they attempted to get a hold of martin to get the part number for a rush delievery. James martin never anwsersed. I attempted to communicate and he was unwilling to help, i told him my situation that i had a 15 month old baby and a pregnant wife, and we were living off coolers,he never responded. He finally texted me that at this point he is going to decline further work for no particular reason. He would not respond to me further. I finally got ahold of ge on monday, whom sent appliance rescue. Who promptly showed up and have been working with them since. PLEASE DECLINE JAMES MARTIN if going through warranty or ever, he does not know what he is doing and cares about his customer about as much as he cares about rocks.
This company is listed as the warranty service provider for the Frigidaire microwave I purchased from Home Depot, but has not responded - so far - to FOUR messages Ive left. With Thanksgiving coming, my next step is to hunt them down ...
