After reading the reviews, I was hoping K would be the service technician for my call. I am beyond happy he was!! He was very professional and explained everything thoroughly about why my freezer was not working properly. I was so ready to get rid of the home depot nightmare purchase that has leaked since day one. I am glad I found 858 Appliance! I called numerous places but from the moment I first spoke with Albert who scheduled the service call, I felt confident about choosing 858. I had to totally defrost the freezer so K returned three days later and completed the repair. I cannot say enough great things about K and 858! It’s been 2 weeks since the repair and my fridge/freezer works better than when I first got it!! I highly recommend these folks! K did an EXCELLENT job!! Price was very fair. THANK YOU!!!

Plan was to detect why dishwasher was leaking. Vlad the repairman made 3 separate trips and on each trip discovered addition contributors to the main leak. After consulting with Ed, the boss, both recommended we buy a new appliance rather than invest further. Rare honesty seldom found nowadays. This appliance repair service has my highest recommendation.

We had a fire in our broiler and I was hesitant to use the oven or broiler for fear of unseen damage. Kirill K was the technician that came out and was absolutely wonderful. The technicians were nice, respectful of my concerns over COVID, and incredibly professional. These guys are great and very honest! I got same day service for a repair and price was very reasonable compared to couple companies I previously called. Great experience--our dryer stopped working and 858Appliance fit us in very quickly and they were able to determine we needed a new motor. My dishwasher quit working on Sunday. I called few companies and all I got was voicemail except when I called 858appliance a  live person finally answered phone and a few minutes into conversation we set appointment. Technician arrived within 40 minutes which was shocking to get someone so quickly on Sunday afternoon. He was able to clean our drain pump and extract the debris which saved us money buying a new pump or dishwasher. I found 858appliance on google search then I immediately checked their rating and it was 4.8 out 5. In the past experience I dealt with companies with great reviews and outcome was some what negative. I went ahead and gave 858appliance a chance and not regretting at all I used them. Arthur was great he had a professional grade steamer to unclog my refrigerator drain and also suggested many ways we on own could prevent major breakdowns. Very satisfied with service we received form this provider.

I called and they called me back in 5 mins. I told the owner my problems with my appliances. He told me over the phone that he doesnt fix LG washers that have electrical issues. These newer ones are run by WIFI and computers. He advised me to call LG directly to get someone out here asap. He was very helpful over the phone. He may not have fixed anything. I got free advice. He was totally honest. I appreciate the honesty so much Im writing a review and will call him if I need him for something else (pray I dont). Last week I had my washer fix by Vlad from 858appliance. Very satisfied he arrived at 10am on Monday inspected my machine and said it needed new drain pump. I asked him if he have parts and how much would it cost to fix it. He was straight forward and explained to me that their company don’t charge by hour and provided me with estimate that would cover parts and labor. I agreed and he told me he needed to order part and it would take few days and left our home. 45 minutes later he called me and said he got the part and if I wanted him to comeback and finalize the job.He came back to our house hour later after I talk to him and now weHave working washer. I got a fridge off of OfferUp and the guy was sold to me He oversold it in the fridge broke down. A few days after I bought it. So I called 858 Appliance. And they came over the very next day and fixed it for a very good price. I definitely recommend them. Dealing with service providers or repair people in general could be very frustrating. We scheduled appointment with different company and technician never showed up. After few hours waisted I decided to research next company before hiring them. I called and talked to Edward and he was very helpful and not pushy to schedule a visit. Instead he pretty much diagnosed and helped us fix a problem over the phone completely free of charge. It’s been almost over 2 months and our fridge is still working without any issues.

My tech Kirill gave me a 20 min phone call prior to arrival and came between the time frame given. He explained the problem with my washer and what parts he needed to order and why. He was very detailed and professional, he gave me an estimate of when my parts would be in and if i had any questions i could give him a call. He came back within a few days installed parts and washer has been working great. Im very satisfied with the job done and pricing was fair. I will definitely use them again for other appliances.

Steve was great I recommend you ask for him when you call 858appliance. My oven stopped keeping set temperature It took Steve few minutes to find problem. He was able to go back to supplier and pick up correct igniter we needed to fix my oven. They are truly same day service company.

My quick google search for my dryer repair lead me to 858appliance and I am happy I choose them for my repair. Very honest and fairly priced and super easy to communicate with. Kirill K Ratner (technician) was on time, respectful, communicative and worked really hard to ensure my fridge was up and running ASAP. He went out of his way to ensure the new fan my fridge needed, which is not easy to procure in San Diego during COVID, was sourced from a friend of his in LA who was visiting - brilliant customer service!

Kirill responded quickly to my cry for help. My tenant’s freezer broke down on a Saturday in the middle of the Covid pandemic on one of the hottest days. He called back right away and quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave us a fair quote, extended us a senior discount, and wore a protective mask to keep tenants safe. An invoice was sent right away and my tenants are happy as a clam. Will keep this number in my contacts for sure.

First off, I just want to point out that they are available on the weekend. This is a huge plus because most places are not available on Saturday and Sunday. They are open from 7AM - 8 PM daily.Second, their response time is quick. I called in on a Saturday due to my mom having some issues with our washer. They had someone come out to us to check it out within the same day which was nice because other places I would have to set an appointment for another day. When the technician was ready to be on his way, they gave us a heads up call that they are on the way.I dont remember the persons name who came over to fix the problem (SORRY!) but he was super detailed, professional and quick! He was able to analyze the problem and provide a brief explanation to what the issue was. Everything was fixed within the hour! The best part was that i did not feel stressed out during this whole process. :)Overall, I thought the whole process was easy and quick. Getting everything set up and resolved was all done within the same day is amazing if you ask me. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my family and friends. Who doesnt like quick & friendly service?!

Quick response. Excellent customer service. Called sears and they told me 5 days wait and $99 service charge.Called 858appliance at 9am and they sent a tech to my house within 40 minutes. Fortunately he was in the area had proper parts and was able to fix it. I didnt even have to take day off. By the way the service call is only $39. Very reasonable pricing and super fast service.

Owner called me. The tech was very odd which is why I was scratching my head. I have a feeling from reading the reviews that it was just one of those things. I just had one of those moments after dropping money on something. My wife is now happy with a new washing machine so its all water under the bridge now.

I just want to first say that the service is quick and their entire team is super friendly and helpful!I called in to set up an appointment to have someone come out to check out my heater. I explained that I need this issue to be fixed asap because our home is super chilly. They scheduled someone to come out the following day and let me know that they will contact me when they are on the way.The technician that came out to look at the issue was super friendly. He observed the issue within 10 mins and figured out what the problem was. He was able to get everything done and working within 45 mins. What an AMAZING and quick service he provided. I wished I could remember what his name was but I’m sure everyone on the team is just as good and quick as him.I was extremely satisfied with the service and I will be recommending them to my friends and family. The company itself is super flexible and the best part is they are open 7 days a week. We all know that many of us work through the week and can only get errands done on the weekend.. so this is a HUGE plus on their end.

I didnt use this company but when I called I spoke with Edward and explained that I had already had another company come out. They were supposed to come back a few days later but I couldnt get a hold of them he asked who it was and he new the owner so he called and spoke with him and instead of stealing his customer he helped us both out. The technician who came to my house to check my stove was awesome. He was extremely honest, advising me to get a new stove, rather than have him repair it. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me great advice. I will call again if anything goes wrong with my appliances in the future.

So last Thursday night my dryer decided to stop heating. Knowing absolutely nothing about dryer repair, I took to Yelp to help see me through this dark time. Considering I have two in cloth diapers, my dryer is tied with my washer as being the most important machine in my house. Steve was out the next morning.. Talk about quick! He arrived on time, and even called to give me a thirty minute heads up. After a brief period in the laundry room he emerged with his diagnosis and said he could be back same day with new parts and have it up and running again. Sure enough, not even a couple hours later he returned and had my dryer heating like brand new in less than 15 minutes. He was professional, polite and Ive never had such a quick response time before. Praise hands and recommendations all around! Bonus - theyre locally owned!

Top notch service. I manage 10 rental units and found these guys on yelp about a year ago. Saved me a bundle of cash. The repairs are on time and the service is straight to the point. I have a good idea of what needs to be done prior to calling them and each time their diagnosis is correct and Im not up sold. I appreciate having a local appliance company that I can count on. With other appliance companies the repairs cost so much, makes you think twice if you should just replace the appliance. Outstanding organization.

They told me that they didn’t service downtown, but that they had a guy in Golden Hill so they’ll service downtown. He did get here in 20 minutes, but he didn’t speak but barely any English. So we had a conversation in broken Russian/English and I told him that the door wouldn’t latch, the machine wouldn’t spin nor would it drain. He spent about 30 minutes and then he eventually told me his diagnosis was that the door wouldn’t latch, it won’t spin and it won’t drain. He then told me to “replace all of parts” and that he’d call me tomorrow. This was two weeks ago. Still waiting for any response from the company.

I am very happy we hired 858appliance to work on our refrigerator. Albert came out and diagnosed issue with our fridge being bad relay due to not servicing refrigerator for at least 10 years (our fault) . He quickly made trip to his van and was able to get our fridge up and running in no time. Albert also shared lots of useful tips how to prolong life of appliances. I am writing this review not for service I received from 858appliance but for unbelievable honesty experience I encountered by talking with Edward over the phone. I needed my front loading washer repaired that was making horrible loud noise when spinning Edward advised me not to invest money into it since my washer was pushing close to 10 years. He took his time to explain to me reasons it was making noise due to bad bearings and recommend me to save money on the service call and use it towards new machine. Amazing definitely recommend to speak with Edward before using anyone else.

My electricity went out over the weekend and my fridge was still out when power came back on. This is a Kenmore we have had for 3 years and still should be working fine. Could not figure it out despite my research. 858 sent out a tech asap. I guess power supply coil got jacked up with an electrical surge so thankfully was able to remedy that pretty easily. Very pleased with this service

Steve is great! He came all the way to my home in Chula Vista and was able to repair my fridge the same day! He is very professional and has great customer service. He let me know exactly what parts were needed for my repair! He did not charge me extra for having to come all the way to Chula Vista! Steve is great and I will definitely use this service again!!!

Excellent service and they are HONEST

I am very much surprised and extremely happy with the outcome of our service call. My husband called 858appliance and schedule a visit for our dishwasher that wouldn’t drain. We were prepared to purchase a new dishwasher but magically technician name Steve was able to save our 10 plus year old machine by just extracting broken peace of glass out of water pump. Total repair took less than 30 min and less than replacement of the pump price we were quoted by different company. Thank you for saving us money and time.

Very flexible company to schedule appointment on a short notice. I called them on my lunch break freaking out because our refrigerator suddenly stopped working. Great experience with this company. I made 1 phone call in the morning, in the afternoon my dryer was working again without breaking the bank. Hopefully I dont have to repair any more of my appliances any time soon, but if I do, Ill definitely use them again.

Arthur put a new pump in our washing machine and the same error code as before showed. After $350, Arthur has lied to us several times, said he would come fix it again and never showed up, won’t send us pictures of the old pump (he offered to send them then didn’t, said he didn’t have to), and after 10 days we still don’t have a working washer. These guys are crooks.

In less than 2 hours they had a tech at my house working on my fridge. I am very pleased with the overall experience and definitely would use them again in the future.Make sure you talk to Edward he will answer all your questions prior to them coming to your house.He was the only one out of many companies that provided me with an estimate without having to send someone out.

I looked up appliance repair on yelp and came across 858appliance called them to get an estimate on my fridge repair which I had hard time getting from other companies. Weve got an older oven and it didnt really get hot enough to cook properly so called these guys. Did not want to buy a new oven. They came and simply replaced the thermostat and surprisingly, that did the trick. I know Im lucky but glad I called someone before I went to Sears for a new one ;)

Weve had our sub zero fridge for several years now and it worked as planned but last week the freezer was just no getting cold enough anymore. And I noticed a break in the sealant tray. Made an appointment for these guys to come out. It did take a couple of hours but they got us fixed up properly. These sub zs can get expensive but wasnt too expensive.

I returned from vacation recently only to find my refrigerator was not functioning. I called 858 appliance and scheduled for the same day after 4pm. Very courteous technician. He finished the repair in 50 min and the fridge is working great---thx for the great service.

Gary was great. He performed all the continuity tests I had seen online and isolated the problem. When I told him about how breaker had recently been tripping when the dryer was running he easily fixed the issue.

My refrigerator was not cooling well enough so I gave these guys a call after I found them online. They said they would be there in the next 2 hours and surprisingly showed up in about 25 minutes. Fixed and resolved the problem within the hour. Quite affordable and fast.

I found them on Yelp, after almost a week of nightmare dealing with a couple of other local companies. The guy I spoke with over the phone was very upfront with me about repair cost, and he also explained the possible cause of my leaking Whirlpool refrigerator. He gave me the lowest quote compared to the other guys. An hour later a tech named Gary was at my door. He diagnosed the problem, left and came back with the drain kit. In less than 2 hours I got my fridge back up and running like it was new. I also got a warranty on part and labor, so I couldnt be happier!
