This place has serviced my car several times and even though I have had bad experiences with other Pep Boys service centers I always like this one, until Monday. I made an appointment on Friday to have my coolant system checked. This person I spoke to was friendly and remembered my car. He told me to bring it in first thing Monday.When I arrived to drop it off at the scheduled time I was told by another person that I could not drop it off because they would not have a mechanic until 3pm and even then they would not be able to work on a BMW.Mind you, my car has been serviced at this shop at least 5-6 times before with some significant repairs but now that cant even flush my radiator? I will no longer be giving them my business.
Baron at customer service is EXTREMELY rude! I walked in and he ignored my questions of prices and services provides never even looking at me, .insisting anwsering my name and address instead. He acknowledged the one price for all oil changes.An hour later I asked him about the free tire rotation and wheel alignment offered after the oil change had been done yet as I mentioned .? He got real hostile and demanded that if he was going to do an alignment check that it would cost 35.00 dollars that I may as well pay to do it instead of just checking first.What? .I advised the website says FREE. He repeated if he was gonna do the tire rotation and alignment check ID have to pay 35 for alignment check! How he came up with that price idk. I was embarrassed in front of other customers. He handed me my receipt which he tried to charge 20.00 dollars more for the oil change that we had already acknowledged the one price for all ! In the receipt where always in all my life it shows exactly what fluids were checked and low/ topped off .NONE WAS LISTED. My trust in him was zero by now..I went directly across the street to Firestone and had my tire pressure checked..4 LBS UNDER!! That mechanic stated my tires were NEVER CHECKED ! as advertised. I was infuriated..I do not TRUST my lugnuts were tightened if tires were even rotated at all- or my oil filter changed or Pennzoil used! I fear to drive my car now!! I insist on a full refund for safety sake. There is numerous complaints on reviews of the same. He drove my car to the lot.left the window down leaving it unsecured with my work PC unethical no integrity flat out LIAR that is dangerous to me and all on the road

Brought my new car in to pep boys because they give a free tire rotation, are conveniently located next to Denny’s to get breakfast, and have great coupons on their website in addition to supporting our military with a 10 percent discount.When I got in my car I noticed that my sticker said they used 5w30 oil despite my manufacturer recommended 5w20.I spoke to the tech and he casually told me that he was out of 5w20 so decided to use 5w30. To me doing this without my consent was completely unprofessional.I was concerned about this because my owners manual says using the incorrect oil can void the warranty. So I called and ask that they fix it. They initially acted like nothing was wrong, but were willing to fix it at my request.When I brought it back - they didnt apologize, they quickly just fixed it - unclear if they changed the filter again. And I paid for a full synehtic penzoil change - but they used some oil called proline - which appears to be their house brand.Overall I’d say they need to work on their customer service, and more importantly as a consumer I’ve lost faith that they can reliable service my vehicle according to manufacturer standards. I’d recommend that people just bring their car to the actual dealership and have it serviced by a mechanic. It’s worth the cost for the piece of mind you’ll have.Extremely disappointed with my experience.

I have been going to this pepboys for a couple of year because its really close to my house and its very convenient. But everytime I go and find the manager Albert being in the front desk I always feel nervous to even approach him. He always seems like he is in a bad mood and the way he speaks to me always sounds rude! Today I walked in and asked for an oil change and and he talks to me like he is already upset he asked me if I wanted to drop it off and I said Im going to wait since I dont have any one to pick md up. To what he responded very rude well yourcar is not going to be ready till the afternoon mind you it was around 10am. I asked him if it was better if I made an appointment to what he responded frustrated even if you make an appointment you should expect to wait 3 hours. Is like he didnt want me to stay. I understand that they were really busy and the wait time is not what upset me but the way he talk to humans.He should be reminded that he is in customer service he doesnt have to treat people like they are an inconvenience.i ended up driving ten minutes to the next pep boys in walzem and I was welcomed with a very friendly staff. I will gladly drive the ten minutes to not be treat as inconvinince.
Found a replacement rim for me at a salvage yard a couple days before my wedding when I was stressed out about oh so many things. Thanks Rittman for cracking my rim on your oh so terrible roads. Got it done quick even with people on loan from other stores
I had some corrosion on my battery and it wouldnt start. Pep boys was able to install a brand new battery in about 10 minutes. Thank you!
Extremely impressed with the quality of work and professionalism i received from the crew and specifically Albert the service manager . Albert kept me up to date the entire time was completely transparent with the diagnosis and the parts and labor needed to fix my 2014 GMC Sierra. I did not feel like I was being up sold on unnecessary services. My truck was finished sooner than expected and the techs that worked on it kept it clean. Thanks again i will be back next time.
One of the places located closest to my residence,so end of April I had my wifes front end done by my mechanic struts, tire rods etc taking a family get away so my mechanic said bring it to get alignment cool 4-29 bought it to pep boys told them I needed an alignment they did alignment tested my car I paid that was that . So I go up the street buy 4 tires guy says you need alignment, I just got one was my response . Fast forward my wife was complaining about her tires I didnt pay it any mind thought she was just nagging well she needed tires front tires are gone when I go buy tires dude says didnt you just buy these tires from me I said yes so he says go show them your tires well I did an I was told I didnt purchased the warranty?????? MY RESPONSE what warranty?? Its hard to convince someone that someone might have dropped the ball because I keep all receipts an I do purchase warranties.

I paid them to diagnose and check my air conditioning system. $200! 5 days or 6 days later my problem returned. when I open the hood I noticed that my cap for the high side was not put back on, which leads me to believe that he just filled it up, with $12 worth of refrigerant. I would appreciate somebody giving me a call. Ive done a lot of business with pep boys over the years, and I really feel completely ripped off.
Service was great. H as d company car fixed within an hour.. went out of their way to fix it despite me telling them Id pick it up another day.. great service all way around.

I would like you all to know that this is a good place to come to. When i needed someone ro look at my car. There was a young man there and he was working and as soon as he saw me he came up to me and said may i help you. And i told him what was wrong . He asked me to pop my hood. He checked all of my levels they all were good. His name was Anthony i have a great experience with this young man. I will be back. I did call and speak to the manager his name was Albert Olivarez he was a nice man as I have noticed when I was in his store how all his employees and the manger works really good together. The Tech Anthony was working hard and he did always have time for the customers even though he was a busy man. That is what I like to see when I go into a shop. I am not really understanding why there are not better reviews for this manager and the tech that has helped me. please know I want pep boys to know that I wish that there were more hard working people in this world like this young man Anthony. I will be coming here to this one for my oil changes.

I went a couples of times there and there dont do a good job. Ones i marl the tires for tires rotation and the paper day the do but really the tires was in the same place. I pay $120 for a oil change and 1 month later i saw the same old oil and low like previous of go there. And a few similar things they do in others cars before.
Usually do a good job but they don’t open anywhere close to on time.

I’ve been here twice without any service. The 1st time I arrived at opening. The manager informed me that their mechanic don’t arrive until an hour after closing so I left. The 2nd time I tried calling ahead for wait times. I was told over the phone that there would be I trouble in fitting me in. I get there the clerk tells me that both mechanics were at lunch, which was at 3:15.
Very honest and great customer service. Took my truck they ran test and changed out a part I bought for no charge.

The manager there made every excuse as to why he couldnt fulfill the warranty on my tire.
