Situation: Apartment manager tagged broken down cars to be towed, then called Bexar towing to have them taken away. Instead Beaxr Towing came in and towed cars that she hadnt tagged, towed away cars with disabled tags and kind in mind, these cars are parked in reserved parking places that have their apartment numbers on them. Now everyone needs to know this; a tow company can be fine for not offering to drop the car to cut rate. Bexar Towing waited until people would walk away to get money and pulled off. And or never offered this service at all.

Scammers merging with Management Properties to generate profits in hard times. Managers should notify tenants atleast once to make aware of towing hazards and post visible signs. Be kind is better than bad Karma to follow.

This company is nothing more than legalized vehicle theft. There drivers can’t figure out why they get roughed up, because they are losers that have nothing better to do. Owners of these type of companies should be charged with grand theft auto and sentenced to 15+ years in prison.

Towed my car twice in 2 weeks time all for landlord retaliation. They stated we were parked in a non designated spot....all the while 2 cars parked under a sign that states do not park TOW ZONE also got pics of multiple cars parked in exact same spot and only we got towed. Thanks enjoy my $500!

My car got towed from an apartment complex, yes it was my fault Ill admit that. But once I went to pick up my car, I asked to go see if there was any damages since my car does naturally sit low to the ground. Lets just say I have over $2000 worth of damages because of how unprofessional they are. I would of rather had to pay a fine then pay a fine and have to get my car fixed now from literally dragging the front bumper for over 20 miles. Now I have to wait over month to hear anything.

Came to an apartment complex to drop off a TV to a friend. I parked in a spot with no sign on it. A bigger sign said visitor parking. I assumed the whole lot was visitor parking. I started chatting with my buddy & within 20 min, my truck was gone. No signs anywhere. Sign in front says designated area behind bldg 2 & 7. Im in the correct area. Im unsure why I got towed honestly. $225 to get it out. You cannot talk to these people either. They have an authority to do whatever they want & the only way to get justice is to go through court. Nobody has time for that. Ive had my vehicle towed before & $225 is the new record by $75. Seriously what city official is getting bribed for this to happen? During a pandemic when alot of people lost their jobs. Ive had no job for 2 months. Barely start back tomorrow, but have to drive 300 miles for a physical......but now no vehicle & the $225 is leaving me with a negative balance. Im not even mad, but damn guys. Yalls morals are God awful. If the lane or lot had a tow sign, I wouldnt be typing this. I really dont get it & dont have the time for court. SMH.

Would NOT use Bexar Towing if my car and I were stranded without another option...would leave it or push it home. Employees are rude and ruthless. Get some customer service skills Bexar Towing. Having clear and positive communication skills and a little bit of empathy goes along way. Always a plus having patience too, hanging up on customers is a BIG no no!!

Beware: This business is currently under investigation. Filed a police report after having my vehicle illegally towed and found property missing from the vehicle, including a firearm. The bexar towing is a fake company and is registered to an empty lot. I would not have been able to locate my vehicle if it werent for onstar, which lead to a different tow yard all together. Still had to pay $300 to get my vehicle out same day. The police officer that arrived to take the report stated he had been called there three times already that day for similar issues, and that both towing companies had been recently referred to sapd detectives who had an open investigation. Bexar towing is a phony company that work together with various apartment complexes and businesses to target specific vehicles, gives false information to local PDs about the company towing/ location of the vehicles and reasons for towing, then parks them in an unaffiliated lot in the hopes owners cant locate them, and they can auction off your vehicle.

Towed my car while I was in progress of unloading groceries! Im disabled! Who does that! Still had groceries in the car as well as hazards still on when I had to pick the car up!!

I asked to whom I was talking to and the person on the other end refused his name and laughed at me. What happens next will be updated here. This company damage my vehicle then told me That if I want my car fixed by them to take him to court hire a lawyer. The staff personally showed me photos of my car they took before towing with no damage. Now theyre saying I could no longer see the pictures they took unless I take him to court and subpoena the photographs. Worst people ever wish I could give a negative 5 rate.

There is no better place to buy your car back from in all of San Antonio!The location is wonderful. 25 minutes away from the apartment complex we live in, which contracts them. Unfortunately we have two cars, so we didnt get to enjoy the adventure of trying to figure out how to get there. The employees were nice enough to reenact scenes from some of my favorite Clint Eastwood films, you know like the stare down scenes in all great westerns. They really did a great job because I really felt uneasy, which Im sure is what they were going for after all.They only allow one person in the office at a time and thats great because who likes a crowd? The amount of cars in the lot really reflects how hard the staff works, they are exceeding expectations. They are open 24/7 so you can play a game of Where the f*** is my car? any time of day or night. The best part is if you get there before 11:00am theyll give you a deal on your car: $219THATS RIGHT! They will sell you a car YOUR car for $219 but only if you get there before 11:00am. After that it goes up to like $300 which is a steal...for someone.

They towed my father in laws truck for double parking ( which we know FOR A FACT he was not) in an apartment complex where cameras are visibly broken. Gonna report to the BBB, this isnt the first time its happened and they are absolutely ruthless people. Its really sad that they do this day before holiday just for $$.

They didnt care enough to check closer for a handicapped placard that was placed on my mirror. They then made it impossible to retrieve my vehicle because of all kinds of extra fees. The night before my vehicle was going to auction, they informed me my car would be sold and there was nothing that I could do about it. Once I finally found my car within a completely different lot I found all of my tires were flat. As far as I am concerned this company was built by thieves.

If you’ve been towed, the correct address you need to go to is 1431 N Comal St. My car was towed at my apartment complex because I parked in covered parking. It was completely my fault so I’m not really upset about it. I knew the risks but y’know. I was too lazy to walk a long way to get my car so I parked there, which is close to my apartment. Anyway, the charge is about $220 more or less. The place is open 24 hours and I actually received some pretty good customer service. The lady at the window was nice and treated me with respect. Just be nice to those people, they have a rough job. I know it sucks getting towed, but being kind only takes a second.

Towed my roommates car because the solar reflective visor made the permit blend in with it as a background. Is there someone who can file a joint lawsuit against this company? Im not kidding, its extortion and theft.

These people picked up my daughters vehicle from her apartment, with no reason given by the property manager or leasing manager. Then held/hid it for 3 days so they could collect holding money from my father when they finally told us they had it. The apartment first told us they hadnt had it towed. So they lied then called Bexar Towing while we were in the office and Bexar Towing said, oh no, we dont have it so we reported it as stolen to the SAPD and our insurance. You better damn well believe we are getting a lawyer involved.

They towed my car from my apartment complex. The driver saw me come out, with my puppy, so there was nothing threatening about my demeanor, obviously a resident. He stopped twice, then sped off before I could alert him to his mistake. Called the condescending office who informed me it was my fault, $219 to release your vehicle, this knowing they towed a resident vehicle. Is this place insane? The answer is no, just some lowlife weasels running a scan along with the Soap Factory Apartments and Im sure many others.

These people are literal scam artists who will take your car hostage in a moments notice and require you to pay the equivalent of half a months rent to get it out with the threat of paying more the longer you wait. How they are still allowed to run a business completely baffles me. I can only hope that their shady practices are exposed and swift legal action taken against them.

Rude, rude, rude. This company should invest in workers with people skills. The representative kept cutting me off, she talked over me, and she hung up on me in the end. The best part was I wasn’t even mad or aggressive. I asked for the address to get my vehicle, she said no she will put me back into the automated line. I said I just wanted the address, and she just hung up on me. I would rate this company lower if I could. Stop using this company.

Its disgusting how they flaunt their designer bags and clothes while holding peoples cars, the means which how people get to work, hostage and charge an outrageous price to retrieve your own property back. Towed my vehicle illegally. After calling the police thinking it was stolen they informed me it was towed (even the cop I spoke to said it shouldnt have been done on private property). When I called them they played dumb until I pressed them further, and they even agreed it shouldnt have been done, but Im still responsible for over $200 in fees. I recorded that call for proof because I plan on filing legal action. I looked online and this place has been investigated, theres a video on YouTube from the news station WOAI about them. A complaint has now been filed with the state of Texas, I suggest anyone thats had this happen do the same. These people are nothing more than pathetic thieves.

Its sad to comment that they towed my vehicle from my apartment complex. I go great lengths to make sure my vehicle is insured, registered and parked in the spot I PAY FOR each month. They troll the complexes and pick at random what vehicle to tow. Now granted, imI a paralegal and yes, received my degree here in the wonderful state of Texas, so its good I know how to research law. They towed my car in the middle of the night. While I was parked outside of my own home. For no reason. Completely illegal and gave no answer as to why the car was towed. Its in front of my own home, dont touch my car. Its not rocket science that this dishonest.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Called once at 10:40 gave all the information of a vehicle parked in my reserved spot at my complex and was put on hold. The call seemed to drop but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Called back at 11:40 spoke to another rep, was told I’d hear back in 20 minutes. Called back at 12:50 and spoke to the first person who told me “ I tried to tell you that residents can’t call to make a request but you hung up on me”. I’ve been waiting to park in my spot for 2 hours and no ones been coming because of a call drop? No one called me back or checked in just assumed I hung up and never followed up. I appreciate how this inconvenience was my fault and now there’s “nothing we can do”. Absolutely horrible service. I see why there is a class action suit against them. 0 stars if I could.

Horrible establishment,I parked for 40 minutes helping my friend unload groceries and some of his stuff from home. I walk outside to my car being loaded to a towing truck. Had to drive 40 minutes just to get fined for literally just visiting. According to their service if you plan to have visitors theyll be charged a huge fine just for seeing you for 30 minutes.

This company placed a tow tag on my fathers truck for expired registration. I called them and told them that my father has been in the hospital for better than six weeks. Their could care less, the man I spoke with didnt have a care in the world and informed me they were going to tow it anyway.

Undoubtedly one of the worse if not the worse customer service experience I’ve ever had, I called them 7 times!!! And I was put on hold multiple times DURING THE CALL, why is that? It seems like they really do not care about people calling their business because they are making money anyway.

They need to have a better time for people to collect their belongings from their vehicles. Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm is when most people work. We shouldn’t have to call into work just to get our property.

Getting towed sucks, but I did have a good experience with the company. They quickly located my car when I called, told me what to bring to get it out, rang my card up quickly, and had me back in my car 10 minutes after arriving.The people working the front desk were professional and pleasant.

This is the worse tow company in the COUNTRY . The service agents are rude, unhelpful and racist. The tow driver opened my car door removed the visitor pass and towed my truck just so he can reach his quota for commission.The law states they cant tow a car until 10pm but they walk around Champions Gate at 9:30pm and then run to their tow truck and ruin ppl cars. My truck was towed at 10:08 !!!!!! How is that possible????? My truck is huge and now I have damages to my car. Literally the worst company I have ever heard of. I will not stop fighting!!!!!!

Upset my car got towed on Saturday. And the fee sucked. But overall had no problem getting to my car and paying the fee in a timely manner. I was reunited with my car very quickly. However the price $219 sucks and getting towed sucks.

Had an immensely pleasant conversation with the clearly educated and very-well spoken Sierra after my car was towed from my parking spot in my apartment complex while I slept. The cell phone picture, taken in the dark by the tow driver, clearly shows tag which I can assume was just too many syllables for the lovely Sierra and tow driver to understand. The out of state plates couldve been confusing to the driver. Colors are tough, too, I guess. I guess were going to go buy our car back from these idiots. If you happen to find yourselves in the unfortunate situation in talking to one of these inbred morons...talk slowly and use easy to understand wording.

They treated me like a human being during a tough interaction. They listened to me when I was probably being rude, and then allowed me to calm down. Their towing made my day tough but it wasn’t their fault, and they were professional and even caring when I told them I had been on my way to visit a cancer patient when my car died and I coasted into an apartment complex where I then couldn’t move it. Before I could get my insurance to deal with it the next morning, they’d towed me. Again... not their fault, and lady at the front desk was incredibly sympathetic. Thank you all.

These guys are thiefs! They prey on people for money. They wont allow me to come and tow my vehicle out because it has to meet their regulations for towing capabilities. With all sorts of licenses that are not required in the state of Texas. I can legally bring in a flat bed with a pick-up truck and tow my truck on top of it, but because Im not a certified tow truck driver, I cannot take my truck. They are scam artists! They added restrictions so that they can make more money. It has nothing to do with the state of Texas as they say.

My vehicle was towed a while ago and I received a receipt. That receipt was lost. I called Bexar Towing yo grr a new receipt and sent them 4 emails not once did I receive a response to my emails. When I called, they refused to give me a new receipt. They told me it was company policy. This is the WORST company Ive ever dealt with. Sad.

These guys tow your car in the middle of the night leaving you stranded from areas that are vaguely and unclearly marked. I came in today before my car was here 24hr, because one of the ladies I talked to the night before said that my rate wouldnt change till after 24hr of my car being here. Lone behold they still charged me more. The ladies obviously dont know what theyre doing or talking about. Its ridiculous, I rushed and got a tow truck to tow my home for another fee so I wouldnt have to pay more money. But in the end still had to! Worst informational staff.

Horrible People who work there and very shady. They took a picture of my car parked in two lanes. Funny part when I asked to see the picture they rudely said no after arguing she showed me the picture. I was shocked to see my car parked like that. It was clear the tow truck moved my car and then took a picture. Its sad that this place is allowed to make money like this and really needs to be reviewed by the Feds after clearly moving my car to take the picture.

Was at my car as they approached it with truck. They switched to a new reservation spot method and sign in front of our building is from old system 2 years ago in which no one has ever been towed from until now. Still insisted on hooking car up even though I was there and leaving and refused to even let me pay a drop fee leaving fiance stranded at work and me no way to go pick it up even though was being towed wrongly. Made us pay $220 out of rent money. Neither person I talked to on phone or at place would actually listen to what happened and assume automatically I am wrong, likely cuz they hear plenty of excuses but doesnt mean they shouldnt listen for valid complaints. All 3 workers spoke to were very rude and one on phone hung up on me. Will never use them if I need a tow. They are just money hungry and terrible practices.

Bunch of crooks, they towed my car in middle of the night at our apartment complex. Went to go pick it up at 5am and they said the reason was because i didnt have a resident sticker on windshield, (which i do! and have been parking here for 2 and half years!) After Mike at Bexar Towing wouldnt give me my car unless i payed 219.00 i had to do it to get kids to school and me to work. Spoke to apartment office about it and they made Bexar Towing Bunch of Crooks reimburse me full amount. Going to be calling BBB thats for sure

Truly criminal. I actually was informed and witnessed how they set up individuals so they can tow their automobiles. When confronted, Rachael (an office employee) told me, thats my opinion.No one wants their car towed, but sometimes its deserved. This company, on MANY occasions, appears to create business for itself by simply being unethical. How the city allows this type of practice to continue, is incomprehensible. Theyll eventually do this to the wrong individual who will take matters into their own hands.
