I had requested a tow through AAA and the original wait time was an hour and a half so my friends and I were prepared to wait but George called me about 15 minutes later and was already pretty close. He was friendly and quick about getting the car on the flat bed. I was relieved too because I was already getting tired so I am so glad we got him! Thank you soooo much, George, for being there much earlier than expected and for taking care of the car. Youre a rockstar! 🤘😁

My mom is an AAA member and they dispatched Ridgeway Towing to her to sell her + install a new battery due to her car dying. She paid over $140 for a brand new battery and it doesnt work. When she called to report the incident they told her on my way to my next job - sorry with NO plan to resolve the fact that they sold her a bad car part. Management needs to fix this IMMEDIATELY - STOP SCREWING OVER THE ELDERLY... MY MOTHER HAS BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ENOUGH!!!!!

September 9 and 11 my car would not start. Battery was OK. I called AAA, both times George M. came to the rescue. He called to let me know he was on the way, arrived when he said he would. He assessed the car correctly. Towed the car to my home at my request. George was professional, efficient, a gentleman. Thanks, George!

After being stuck on the 410 for 3hrs during rush hour after an accident- we finally said screw the insurance and called AAA- George showed up within 15min of our call and had us hooked and on our way in no time. Im a AAA member and have never used their services before, but when I did this last week they sent over Ridgeway Towing to come get my car.The driver they sent over reached out to me beforehand to let me know he was on his way and was very professional. Got my baby over to Firestone and called me to see if I had arrived at the location already [which we had] and unloaded my car. 👌Amazing job and great service! 🤙Will definitely recommend to others, should they need a towing. 😉

Nader Abdo was the service tech who came to my home to check my vehicle as it would not start. He determined that it was the battery. He installed a new one at a reasonable price and my vehicle started right up. Nader Abdo has an outstanding work ethic as well as being knowledgeable and curteous. You couldnt ask for a better service technician. I will definitly request him if the need arises in the future.

Overall, he thoroughly put my mind at ease and made a very stressful situation completely stress free. Ill be fair. It was a weekend and late so Im sure it was hard for them to find someone to get out there and help me. Plus my issue wasnt the usual towing, battery jump or other normal problem they usually deal with. That is why I am giving 2 stars and not 1.To make it clear, I only use their services as requested through AAA when I need help. In the past they have always been reliable and easy to deal with. What wasnt professional was the fact they had me waiting until nearly 3 am before they contacted me directly (had already gone through AAA twice asking what was going on) just to say oh yeah, we dont have a guy to help you with that issue at the moment but call back tomorrow. So I basically wasted the whole evening (5+ hrs) waiting on them to actually come help me. Thankfully I was at home when this incident occurred or Id be less fair.The next day when I called again I found out after the fact they cant do more than jump, tow or change a tire. Thats fine but why lie to me that you HAVE a person who can help with my unusual issue when you DONT? Thats what was aggravating. Tell me the truth! I am a customer expecting help even if it is thru another service that assigns your company to assist me. Dont tell AAA that you came out and saw my vehicle and couldnt help me / I refused a tow when that never occurred. We spoke on the phone, you seemed to think I needed a jump / tow instead of the issue I specified to AAA. I explained very clearly what was needed, yet you continued to act like you could help me. When I called AAA and explained what happened, they told me what you said before telling me all you could do was tow my vehicle elsewhere.I have to put some of the blame on AAA here. They didnt follow through in spots but mostly they made no real effort to ensure a long term member was provided good customer service by a contractor.

Absolutely useless!! Set up a towing with them and I was told a 2-3 hour wait. It wasnt until an hour into waiting when I was told by the towing facility where my vehicle was located to make sure the tow truck driver had all their current documentation that I spoke to a representative at Ridgeway and I was informed he had no intention of completing my call that day because he was backed up on calls and my towing was too far out of town. He asked me to set up the towing for first thing the next morning and I was left stranded in San Antonio and had to come up with a ride tor myself back to Austin. The next morning I get a call that again they have no intention of completing my tow although I was PROMISED by their representative the night before that it would be taken care of. This business is obviously ran by either unscrupulous staff, incompetent or on my opinion both characteristics. Stay away! USELESS

Ive never had anything but the best service from Ridgeway towing I would recommend them to anybody and everybody. Theyre always on time trustworthy and they go the extra mile.

I had a AAA call and Ridgeway was assigned. The tow driver was very pleasant and very informative about the issue on my car. He was able to diagnose the issue correctly with 2 symptoms. Then it was towed safely to the dealer ship for the repair.

My daughters car was in an ice-related incident. I called AAA for her, who dispatched Steven from Ridgeway Towing. The car would not even turn over, but after resetting the safety fuel shut-off switch that I didnt even know her car had, she was on her way. Though my daughter was the one they were helping, Steven called me to let me know all was well. He did not have to do that.This fellow Steven is bent on single-handedly raising the general reputation of tow-truck drivers. His attitude is top-notch: he really does want to help to the best benefit of his customers.Because of Steven, everyone lived happily ever after.

Tow truck Operator improperly loaded and unloaded my vehicle. Even when I the car owner and the mechanic said this is not the right way to do this. the operator continued and said its the only way. after consulting with counsel I will need to file a damage claim. but you cannot contact the company via phone email website or social media. I will be showing up to speak to them... I know mistakes happen but we were very clear to the operator. and now more damages is done after my tow with Ridgeway

Do not use this company! AAA called them for me and they could not change my truck tire OR tow my Ram. It was dangerous, on the highway 10, and they were completely incompetent. Left my truck stranded with the keys in it, said they weren’t able to do either. They told AAA it was stuck in the mud. Dispatcher gave bad info to AAA and the tow driver said he needed more equipment.The very next tow company called was able to tow it within 30 mins, no trouble!!!!!!

They were good until I found out that nobody there understands any of their own rules. Do not use these guys.

I had a pleasant experience with Ridgeway- Dakota helped me tonight. AAA took forever to alert the driver and I waited for over 2 hours. I recieved a call from Dakota (who profusely apologized) letting me know he just recieved the call from AAA. He was supposed to be off but was coming right away to help me. He arrived less than 10 minutes later, changed my tire in less than 5. He was a great help. The wait seemed to be on AAAs end. I have nothing bad to say about Ridgeway

Needed to get car open as the keys were locked inside the trunk. AAA contacted Ridgeway towing and the tech must have been around the area because he arrived in less than 15 minutes! He was quick and efficient. I wish I would have gotten his name but it all happened so quick that I did not get his name. Black gentleman, slender, tall and very kind and helpful. Called AAA and they dispatched Ridgeway. So the so called tech gets to my residence and unlocks my truck then proceeds to jump the battery except that he could not figure out which was the positive pole or the negative pole. Then he tried to tell me that someone had changed all the wiring. Well Ive had my truck since day one and no one has change anything on it. Turns out the guy doesnt know anything about cars or trucks for that matter. Ill never use these yahoos ever again.

Was trying to merge onto interstate Ridgeway tow truck was behind me and driver decided to drive down the shoulder in bumper to bumper traffic cutting me off and almost hitting two other vehicles on the interstate already. License plate T1937K. Filed complaint with police.

I urge you to NOT use this company! A completely different vehicle was being towed and SNAPPED off the truck causing it to ROLL OFF THE TOW BED and in the process SLAMMED into my car that was parked and I was in it. I cannot imagine if someone had been standing next to the car or if I had gotten out for whatever reason. Accidents happen but this should be something to consider when hiring this company. I also have the video footage to prove this. 8/2/2020

Triple A sent Ridgeway Towing. They were suppose to deliver my car to a dealership. I called the dealership in the morning and they said that there was no car with that description dropped off. I called them and they had no idea where the location of my car was. It was lost until they were able to locate the driver and ask him.

We called Triple A & were assigned Ridgeway Towing again tonight. The wait time was frustrating, especially with cold weather & late time frame, but Winston was very cordial when he called & showed up to tow our car to a nearby garage. He safely delivered our car & remained upbeat considering the weather & time of night. We really appreciated he friendliness & expertise in this trying situation.

Mamoun Immediately called to let me know that AAA had dispatched him. He arrived with gloves and mask on, and his service was A++. He was prompt, courteous, and smart — he quickly unlocked the car, then waited to be sure it would start. When it didn’t tried a few different tactics until it did start. Mamoun A. has saved me before when I called AAA, and again today his service was excellent. Give him a raise!

Asked for a tow from AAA and got them. They called initially to let me know they had my info. The tow truck was assisting another so overall maybe an hour wait but it was 8am traffic so it’s expected. Ralph showed up and was very helpful and professional. Great service!

Horrible service. I am a shop owner and drivers refuse to comply with instructions on where to unload vehicles. When trying to instruct drivers they will get attitude and refuse to talk or just sit in the truck and ignore all instructions. I would think twice before letting these people touch any of my customers cars.

My driver was in such a rush he would not let me grab my personal items out of my vehicle, He was supposed to drop it off at my House where my brother was waiting, He ends up dropping it off at the end of the street instead of the driveway that my brother was waiting outside of, After I gave him the address and my brothers number, Also I asked if he could give them the keys and he said he was in too much of a rush he would leave the key in the Ignition.... Daughter and son in law were going out for their 1year anniversary, and had a blow out shortly after leaving our home. My husband and a friend went to help, unfortunately locking lugnut wouldnt budge. Our friend called AAA and Ridgeway was dispatched and showed up in less time that was estimated, and brought her car back home. I would like to say Thank You to the young man named David! May I please have a phone number to file a claim. Ridgeway towing responded to a call made to AAA tonight to assist me with a flat tire and the tech broke two of my lug nut studs/hubs. I have photos that I took right before he arrived. He only put two back on because he damaged the studs/hubs then he told me that I can’t drive on the freeway. I live 40 miles away. I have date and time stamped pictures showing 4 lug nuts complete with 4 lug studs/hubs (Special ordered) right before he damaged two out of the four then tried to tell me that there was only two when he got there.

Today I was at a stop light and a tow truck driver with license plate T44 03K decides he wouldn’t wait for his turn to exit the Lincoln North Park dealership exit at San Pedro & Lockhill Selma in San Antonio, TX. He forced his way through the tiniest space in the driveway exit barely hitting my Lexus by millimeters!!! There was absolutely no reason for this aggressive driving given there was not heavy traffic. He was towing a small blue car & turning left on Isom. He got lucky! It was terrifying! If this is who Ridgeway employs, everyone beware!!!

Terrible service. Or should I say none at all. Call placed through AAA. Car located on Ft Sam Houston. Apparently drivers couldn’t get a pass to get on base. First driver disappeared with no explanation. Second driver said we had to meet him at gate. Car is not driveable. How would we do that? Company needs to determine policy about federal bases or remove from AAA contractors. Filed complaint with AAA.

Someone tried to break into my truck. Ridgeway tow truck was passing by. I asked for assistance. He opened my truck for $40. I asked him for a receipt so I could submit it to my insurance. He told me sorry, Im out of receipts and then immediately drove off!!! Ridiculous and convenient for him. Well, guess what, I am going to report this to their office in the morning until I get my needed receipt for my insurance.

I couldnt start my 2018 honda crv so I called Honda to get assistance. They dispatched a AAA crew to help me. These guys were great. Although they couldnt get their truck to the 4th floor parking garage they brought my car to them and got me going again!

If AAA refers you to this service, ask for another! My car needed a jump as I was leaving work around 5:30. The driver called, said that he arrive in 20-25 mins. After an hour after estimated arrival, I gave up. I get things happen- like traffic, dinner, breaks- but you have to communicate.

90 miles an hour at 5:30 in the morning is a little unnecessary. You must forget that you have your company name on the side of your vehicle.
