First time visiting Riverwalk Dental & Orthodontics & i have to say this has been one of the best dentist visits I’ve had. I want to thank Victoria - assistant, Denise - Hygienist, & Dr. Mayur for such an awesome visit with great explanation!

I am new to the area and brought both of my children to Riverwalk Dental as new patients. My first experience was with my toddler who usually cries during dental check ups but not with Dr. Mayur. Dr. Mayur and the entire staff, dental assistants Taylor and Victoria and hygienist Denise are all absolutely amazing! My second experience was with my teen and they took the time to explain everything to him and teach him the importance of why dental hygiene is vital. I am extremely happy with our new dentist family! Highly recommend Riverwalk Dental for the entire family.

I had a wonderful experience at Riverwalk Dental & Orthodontics!! Its the first time that I feel the staff were extremely patient and understanding. Everyone greets you with joy and their biggest concern is making you feel comfortable. Victoria, the dental assistant, is friendly and ensures that your needs are met. Dr. Mayur works carefully and patiently ensuring that his work is complete and satisfactory to his patient. Hes very thorough with his explanations and patiently waits to hear questions or concerns. Candy came in to take my impressions for a night guard and was careful not to hurt me. She explained the process and made me feel at ease. It felt as if she were a long time friend and this was my first time meeting her! The office manager, Anika, worked with me so that I would only pay what I could on the first visit and what I could afford. She didnt seem annoyed at all when I couldnt decide what treatment to proceed with I felt that all the staff focus on providing excellent customer services and Ill be sure to recommend their services to friends and family. 🙂

First time coming to a dental office in years. My experience was amazing. Victoria was extremely hospitable she was a dental assistant helping me very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Mayur broke everything down and explained it all easily for me to understand. Ghulam the hygienist was syper friendly and nice. Did a great cleaning. Im happily look forward to finishing my treatment.

Good office, friendly Dentists. Very professional but welcoming too. Got a deep cleaning a general checkup. They explained what I was doing wrong with my dental hygiene and how to fix it from now on. Would reccomend.

I was referred by my insurance. I was a little skeptical but everyone there was very kind n professional. I highly recommend this location.

Nice office. Too much paperwork that I had already submitted online. They need to get rid of that. Good dentist who was personable and detailed. Offered a deep cleaning that my insurance paid poorly on and so I declined it. They did a great standard cleaning. Gave me a plan for a new crown and didnt press me to establish an appointment immediately. Good place.

Enedy provided excellent customer service and was very helpful making my daughter feel comfortable thru her visit highly recommend

Place suxxxxx!! I paid in full and after that no one will call u back...u can never talk to anyone..they dont care about their patients at all...$5000 down the drain !! and no one will call me back and teeth still not strait!!

Very thorough and attention to detail during my exam. Explained everything to me in words that I can understand!

I followed Dr. Desai from another office. He pulled 2 failed root canal’s that were infected, one was worse than the other, he put a bone graft in both areas, then did an immediate implant the same day. One implant was a breeze, the other I had a couple side effects that took a while longer to go away. So the good one I got crowned when possible and the other I believe took 3 additional months. Today I got the worse one crowned and I’m so happy to have my smile back. I will say having the side effects showed me that when he has a patient complaining he can stay compassionate and professional. Through out the process he assured me that he’d do whatever needed, additional bone grafting etc if it did not heal at no extra cost. That was not needed but I just think it shows his ethics and I’m very confident in recommending Dr. Desai. The 3 stars are for him and the minus 2 stars are cause this location REALLY needs to start answering their own phones. It was redonkulous how hard it is to get a hold of them, I still have an unanswered email. As stated I followed Desai from another office, I would not recommend the office itself but Desai is great.

Place was clean and staff was great. I needed 4 teeth pulled and new upper and lower dentures. Dr suggested I get implants I can’t afford them, I’m 65 yrs old I feel like I’m too old for that stuff. I just want dentures do I can look like I do now. Was very disappointed when he told me I needed to see another dr for implants. I told him I couldn’t afford them and he suggested I see him anyway. Won’t be going back there are other dentist in San Antonio

Im not one to rush and go to the dentist. I have to be very honest, I was scared, insecure and nervous. The staff and Dentist were everything anyone could ask for. They were informative polite, personal and they give you so much advice. All I all this location made me feel so comfortable.... ty to all the staff and dentist at the Palo alto location....

Friendly staff. Nice office environment. I had a concern this previous visit. A female on the staff was walking around with her mask on her chin. Shes great, but that action made me nervous. A dental assistant went outdoors wearing his gloves. I asked if he had changed them. They assured me they change gloves often. He changed his gloves three times while I was there eventhough he wasnt attending us. This was my only safety concern, and it was for my child.

I have not been to the dentist in 11 years so I was very skeptical and nervous to go.... I looked up dentists and found Riverwalk dental. Still a little hesitant I called and setup an appointment and they saw me the next day. They are very nice . All of them are super professional and courteous and ask you questions and explain every little detail to you. They even worked with me on payment plans and had a price reduced. I did not get an names which is my fault as I am not good with names just faces. Everyone who works here was nice to me and smiled. The dentist who game me my cleaning was so informative and nice. Had a 5 minute convo with him and he’s a nice man. Thank you Riverwalk dental for helping me and making me feel better about myself ❤️

It was VERY clean and I greatly enjoyed the advice my dental provider had given me with regard to my teeth. Overall I was pleased to get the help I needed.

I have been coming here for about a year and a half now for orthodontic services. The receptionist is always friendly and greets me by name when I walk in. The permanent team is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure the patient is satisfied. In the beginning of my treatment, I wasnt satisfied with one ortho assistant and they updated my chart to keep me happy. My first orthodontist was nice but a little rough, the new one, Dr.H that is here now is phenomenal. I had been contemplating taking a loss and transferring to another ortho but Dr.H has definitely changed my mind. I am actually looking forward to my progress, I feel like its going to get better. After just one visit with Dr.H he changed how he is maintaining my braces. He is gentle and has exceptional bed side manner. I would say the only thing thats frustrating now is the call service, its 3rd party.

Well we just had my sons upper braces install on Noveber 3rd. Within 2 hours one of the brackets popped off. I immediately called them. Unfortunately they do not answer the phones directly at this office, so a call center answered and said they would have someone call us back. The next morning I hadnt received a call back so I called the call center again and again they said they would have some one call back and again no one called back. I went in about 3pm that day and let them know I have not received any call backs. They stated they would have some one from ortho team call me before close of business. This did not happen again. I ended up going in about 5 days later since I still had not received a call back, they stated someone should have called me. They didnt. So they stated again they would have someone call me from ortho team. A few hours later I finally received the call I had been waiting on. Since they only have an ortho team come in from houston once a month and they were already booked for the following month, they would have to schedule me for January 26th appointment. This is almost 3 months after initial appointment, so the bracket that fell off. Would get no adjusting throughout this whole time and definitely extend his treatment. I told them that was unacceptable, she pl laced me on hold for several minutes and came back saying that was the only thing they can do for me. As of this point I am not happy with their services, I wish I would have known that this would be the case ahead of time. I give them 2 stars because everything prior to this was pretty well, I cannot believe for anything that happens through this process we will have to wait a month at minimum for treatment. Def not what I signed up for.

It would be nice if dental office would inform patient with appt. That they are running more than 1 hour behind. Parent and pt’s time is also valuable. They don’t hesitate to charge a fee if pt is 30 minutes late. Was informed that they only have 1 Dentist working. Well maybe they should not over book appts.

Over priced. And would not provide price for fathers tooth extractions. I understand they cant give me an exact price but atleast ball park figures, they do this for a living. They expect people to walk in with a blank check. They also never returned my call concerning this matter.UPDATE: I reached to medicare and medicaid. To question the $741 dollars Whitney charged my father for out of pocket cost for his fillings, take in mind my father dont have all his teeth. Turns out the claim had just been submitted to Skygen. Skygen 3rd party for my dads dental plan questioned how Whitney came to this price if claim had not even been processed; Red flag 🚩 1, second i was told my father has no out out pocket deductible for his plan, red flag 2. I already filed a claim at the bbb in Austin.

The office was very kid friendly. My daughter enjoyed the kid games on iPad and the treats she was able to get with coins. The front staff were very friendly! Judith was very attentive to my daughter and the dentist did a great job on her fillings. My daughter said she wanted to go to that dentist office forever!

Great customer service. The staff was knowledgeable and explained step by step what procedures were needed, and whst each step would cost ahead of time. Equipment was state of the art, and the Dentist was skilled and professional. I will be going back for all of mt dental needs.

The office is located conveniently down the road from me. I had a severe bad toothache one day and I did a walk in as a new patient. They had me fill the paperwork and within an hour had me checked in and determined I had an infection on my wisdom tooth. They had me come in the next morning for x-rays as the office was closing but prescribed me antibiotics to get my infection down so I can be better comfortable especially for the x-rays. Only took an hour to get scans done and they came up with a long term dental phase to get my teeth up and running better and since then have done an amazing job. The wisdom extraction was quick and simple as well as my deep cleaning. Ive still got some visits ahead of me but theyll take care of me very well. The staff is so polite and hospitable. Constantly making sure youre comfortable. They even have TVs in the lounge, one for the adults and one in the kids play area. They also have TVs in the dental rooms to make you feel more at home. They will call and check up on you and answer any questions you may have. They will even send you a happy birthday email! They also do have finance plans so you can pay monthly after your insurance covers what it can. Highly recommend this office. You will not be disappointed and youll feel less tension when it comes to major dental work.

I love everything about this place! From walking in and being greeted by the girl at the desk to how friendly and caring the people in the back are, are all the things I love about this place! These guys definitely make sure that you are comfortable and not in pain and also they make sure you understand everything that’s going on! Staff was very nice and friendly! Dentist was very quick and nice. The only thing I would change is I like early appointments so I always get an appointment at 9 am and thats right when they open and I wish instead of opening right at 9 or 9:05 I’d rather them open at maybe 8:30 that way people would have time to sign what they need to and then have their appointment at the time they set it.
