Everyone is very helpful, professional, and make every effort to assist you. Its my first time seeing the dentist in a while due to the pandemic but it helped allay some of my fears. It was for an emergency and they are open on Saturdays. All the staff were so personable and easy to speak with. You can also tell they have experienced staff that can answer any number of questions. I enjoyed the dentist and definitely appreciated her professionalism throughout.

So far so good. I Went in for a severe toothache that has been bothering me off and on for some time. Like most I put it off until the pain is excruciating smh. Upon entry it didn’t feel like an out dated facility . I actually was seen at my appointment time which is something I appreciate. The dentist was a woman. Girl power !! She thoroughly explained what she saw from the X-ray and addressed the concerns that I had for my visit. She didn’t give me the spiel on what I should do outside of my main concern for my visit . It’s pretty expensive depending on your service needs but you have to be able to eat and drink comfortably. Turns out I needed a root canal as well as a crown $$$. I did what was necessary to feel good again. Overall I think I have found a good dentist.

Called to make an appointment and a lady named Robbie answered, she told me I would be kept on a “brief hold” while she “checked the schedule”. 15 mins later and I was still on hold. I was never able to even make an appointment. Would not recommend.

A wonderful dentist office, everyone is so friendly and helpful. They always have a convenient appointment time slot available so I dont have to miss work and the kids dont have to miss school. The routine dental cleaning leaves my teeth sparkling! They are very through in your oral exam and take detailed notes at every visit to keep a keen eye on any dental changes. This was my first visit to the Ideal office and everyone was really nice however when I left my visit I came out with a burn from one of their tools taking off my skin. I went back the next day to show them what had happened and there was no response to rectify the situation. I was pretty upset that it didn’t seem like it was a deal to them. Will not be going back there again!

Relocated to San Antonio for work. Traveled back to my dentist in Fort Worth for routine check ups or and all dental needs. A co-worker recommended Ideal Dental. Because of a prior horrible experience with a dentist, I was reluctant. I am happy I listened. The staff has been extremely wonderful. I just want to say that I have always disliked the dentist had really bad experiences my whole life from a young kid to an adult, so when I had tooth pain I was definitely not looking forward to going in. Luckily I came across ideal dental of stone oak they were able to see me right away for a emergency root canal, it was such a great experience Debra the assistant was very straight forward and got right into what was causing my pain an how they were going to help made me feel very comfortable. Then dr. Meilinger was amazing knocked out my root canal with no pain at all and very quick with making sure I was comfortable knowing what I experienced with dentist before she definitely has a patient for as long as she’s a dr! DO NOT GET YOUR WISDOM TEETH OUT HERE!Firstly, my appointment was for 4pm and I got a call to move the time up to 3. I took the new open slot but then they called again saying the doctor wanted to see me at 1. My designated driver wasn’t able to make that time so I told them I could arrive at 2. When I arrived they insisted that they were busy and didn’t come get me from my car until 3 (yes I sat anxiously in the parking lot for an entire hour). They finally brought me inside to my chair for the surgery. The surgery took place in a cubical like room among other dentists practicing. I did not feel like I had a lot of privacy to begin with. The heart rate monitor was hooked up across the room and sat on A STOOL. The cords were all over the floor and easily in the way to be tripped over. When the doctor finally came (after about 45 minutes of waiting) and they weren’t friendly and definitely didn’t communicate well. They stuck a thing is my mouth to keep my mouth open but didn’t tell me what it was for. I thought they were gonna forget about the anesthesia (again no communication) they finally gave me the drug BUT DIDN’T WALK ME THROUGH WHAT I WAS ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE. They didn’t ask me to count down and didn’t tell me they were starting. I ended up waking up halfway through the surgery with a drill in my mouth and hearing a loud crack of a tooth breaking in half. This sent me into a full on panic attack (mind you that they didn’t tell me I was going to start drifting away so I thought I had only blinked and they started). I couldn’t control my breathing and had a light in my face and people surrounding me and I was extremely overwhelmed. It took the nurses a good while to calm me down and when I’m was finally calm the surgeon came back into the cubicle and stated that he wasn’t going to finish and that he was going to just leave 2/4 of my wisdom teeth in (yes I had already paid for all 4 to be taken out) he said “I’m done”. I was shocked and looked him in the eyes and told him to keep going and finish. I somehow convinced him (again drugged) and he was confused on what to do. He didn’t know how much more anesthesia to give me. His words “can I even give her more?” The nurse reassured him that he could (how does the doctor not know how much to give me but the nurse did?!) and so they put me back to sleep and finished the job. This whole experience was unfriendly, unwelcoming, unprofessional, and horrifying. I don’t know why I woke up but let me tell you...I will never forget it. DON’T GO HERE FOR WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL!

Awesome stone oak location. Hwy 281@ TPC satx. Dr. Was very professional and very knowledgeable of her work and the other doctors excellent work. She went on to explain what was needed and completed the procedure and sent me on my healthy way. Actually I was feeling really good and confident about the procedure and the service she had performed. I forgot her name is my only regret for this comment on Facebook review. Her dental assistant was Jennifer she too was awesome beyond words and very professional as well. The insurance coordinator in to see me and explained my coverage and the in and outs of my ability to proceed in the best way for me. I was very interested and impressed.

This was the most pleasant dentist visit Ive ever had. The office is well decorated and very comfortable. There is free coffee and water in the lobby as you wait. The front desk staff is very kind and friendly as well!I was brought back by the kind dental staff and seated in a comfortable chair with two televisions in the room; one on the wall and one on the ceiling to watch in any position. The whole process for the dental exam was quick and comfortable. When Dr. Truong came in to explain everything, she was very kind, thorough and professional. She answered all my questions and took the time to make sure I understood everything that was presented. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a competent and caring dentist and staff. They take the time to make you feel comfortable and cared for.

I have been going to Ideal for almost a year. Their staff is professional and friendly. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing but I feel comfortable here and I trust the staff. I got two root canals there, and both times they have made sure I am in no pain and the crowns are made right for me. I gave a five star rating solely based on phone interactions with the administrative staff while making my initial appointment, and now that I’ve received treatment, I can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience—over a few visits. They worked me in quickly for appointments and were impressively responsive with my follow-up questions. Everyone knows their roles extremely well and they work together seamlessly. They listen and answer questions thoroughly, and I appreciate their honesty (more than once) when I was told certain questions should only be answered by the doctor(s). Dr. Meilinger is knowledgeable; an excellent listener and communicator; and very compassionate. I really appreciated her concern for my comfort. It was apparent she was being pulled in other directions at certain times (it’s a smallish office with an open floor plan), but I never felt as though I had anything less than her complete attention.The practice is transparent and fair about costs, which I especially appreciated since I don’t have dental insurance. I have been struggling finding a dentist since we moved down here to San Antonio two years ago. I was excited to see a new location close to my house and even more excited when I experienced my first appointment. I was greeted the moment I walked in by Dee and throughout my appointment, all the staff were kind, welcoming and addressed my needs with care. Thorough images of my teeth were taken and before doing any work, I was shown the images and clearly explained to what was happening. Communication and care were wonderful and it was a very inviting environment. I had to have multiple fillings and they were able to take care of my needs within the same appointment and the work was done very well. I would highly recommend this office!

The wait time was very minimal which has been an issue for me in the past. The doctors and hygienist made sure I was very comfortable and made me aware of what they were going to be doing before they began. I am definitely coming back!

Today was our first visit here and it was great! The staff was so friendly and we were called back quickly! The office is clean and very roomy with TV and a drink station. The dental rooms are clean, private and equipped with what looks like the latest technology. I highly recommend this location and Dr. Ruiz. My family has used ideal dental for a couple years now. They take care of cleanings for me, my husband, and daughter and I don’t have to worry about spending hours there. I don’t have dental insurance but they have some program that makes it more affordable for me. The staff is always really friendly and the office is clean. We will continue to go back.

Very friendly staff, and love that is is nearby where I live. I had no issues and they were very helpful in taking my x-rays and even taking care of a cavity I had on one if my front teeth.I will continue using ideal dental and love the care and friendliness of the dentist I had taking care of me and the price was great for what I had done, I did sign up for one of the plans but is worth it to me.Very clean and relaxing atmosphere and love they have television in the room you can watch to keep you comfortable. I feared the word dentist but needed to get some work done. Luckily my brother Trine had told me about Ideal Dental. I work construction and scheduling can be difficult. But my brother assured me that they will work off your schedule so I gave them a shot. The moment I arrived I was greeted with kindness and a smile. The entire staff made sure I was well informed and comfortable. The doc gave me step by step instructions on whats going to be done. All in all I would recommend Ideal Dental to anyone.

From the moment you enter the door the staff is AWESOME!!! The doctor and staff are very personable and professional! Just moved into town and this was a great experience! I will be recommending this office to friends that live in the area 😎
