I went in and asked for powder acrylic nails and they ignored me and gave me and charged me for gel. Then, I left a tip and looked at my account later and noticed they added 5 dollars extra onto their tip from me. I’ve had so many bad experiences here with rudeness and them not listening to me on what I want.THIS IS AN UPDATED REVIEW- so I gave them another chance and went in yesterday (about a month from the paragraph written above) and extra money was taken from my account once again… done with this place. Don’t recommend.

Lannie did an amazing job with my nails today. Exactly the color i wanted and very professionally done. My daughter also had her nails done with Mimi and she is super happy. Highly recommend this place as we have been going for yrs and never had a bad nail job. Place is clean and they make sure we feel safe (covid safe)

Ive really come to love this salon! I made an appointment once, but every other time, it has taken less than two minutes to be seen, which is incredible. Heres what I love about this salon:-Impeccable customer service. When the owners are there, they will always look at your nails when you check out and ask about your experience-Lovely and spacious seating-Beautiful decor!-Plenty of staff who are all wonderful-Free alcohol! Love love love! My mother-in-law and I went there and got the best manicure ever. They are honest and helpful! Explained what would be the best for my small frail nails and helped me with a great color for skin tone. My nail artist name was Julia! She took her time perfecting my nails and made my nails perfect! No bumps or tiny imperfections! She was sweet and the place was clean and beautiful! Highly recommended

My nail technician was fairly new and being a first time customer, you would think they would have given me a more experienced nail technician. It could’ve been a better experience, however, it was so busy and I was just a number today.

I went for acrylic removal and a gel French manicure on my natural nails. The manager came to do my removal and was very rough. She did not soak them or take my comfort into consideration. After damaging my nails the manager had a technician take over on shaping and smoothing my natural nails. All ten fingers were filed different lengths and different shapes. My cuticles were clipped, two spots began bleeding. Instead of having the appropriate safety and sanitation measures of sealing with liquid bandage, she used the same brush that she uses to dust off debris, to wipe off my blood. The gel polish then bubbled on a few nails but I had enough so I made time to come back to hopefully have someone else fix them the next morning. I was told that the polish bubbled because my nail is damaged. The entire “fix” appointment I felt that I was being harassed for having an issue with my nails. This is not how I should feel when I am spending good money and trying to enjoy myself. All around it was a horrible experience with awful customer service. I will not be back and would not recommend.

So I came to Ventian Nails to fix the mess the other place made. I am so great full for Nancy and this nail Salon. She did such an amazing job. She understood what I wanted and went out of her way to fix my nails. She Didn’t stop until it was absolutely perfect ! I highly recommend going here and asking for Nancy ! Thank you Nancy !! Not good. This place was good the first few times I went to this salon. I even started bringing other friends and family along with me because I liked the service here. Well all of us wont be back because of this last time that I went in for a gel mani/pedi with a friend. Our gel nails started peeling after only 3 days. We both went back on separate occasions to get them fixed by this salon. When I walked in and explained what was wrong, the receptionist looked at my nails with a cold face and told me to sit and wait. I waited about 20 min and the tech that did my nails initially brought me over to her station to fix the ones that were peeling. I left there without an apology or anything from them. Just an annoyed look like I was bothering them. 3 days after the fix, my nails were peeling again. That has never happened before so maybe they used old gel polish or something but this is way too much money and time to be spending on service that is inconsistent like that. None of us will be going back.

The website says if not satisfied they are happy to redo but we were not satisfied after being rushed and the person not letting us have the color we wanted because she thought it was ugly. She did different colors and when advised that it was not liked they said they would not redo. False advertisement and unprofessional. We were not rude either.

If you can ignore the very dismissive bald man at the front desk you are in for a treat. Ask for Ruby or Hieu and prepare yourself for the pampering of your life. They are meticulous, gentle, and dont make you feel like you are taking up their time. Ive never had a better mani/pedi, and they have a full bar!!

Tim did a great job on my nails, I love them! My 10 year old got her nails painted and the lady was very patient with her. Overall great first experience at this salon, will be returning in the future.

I have been to this salon a couple of times and each time I go they are rude and act like they are doing you a favor. I like to relax while getting my nails done but it stresses me out to go here because of how rude the front desk lady and some of the techs are. The last two manicures I have gotten here were poorly done. Ill be finding myself another salon. The only plus is the free drinks.

If youre looking for a guaranteed I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my nails experience, schedule time with Hieu (pronounced hue).Ive been going with him for several years now. Hieu just recently moved to this salon from one closer to where I work, which was very convenient.Hieu is so good, that I drive from outside Castroville, TX to Stone Oak. Always beyond pleased!

I visited this place on a friday, got SNS, took about 1.5 hours to do them. Nail tech was nice, worked slow, didn’t really know how to shape nails. Sunday i was getting out of my truck and my middle finger nail broke in half (length is not long at all). I moseyed back to the salon, they took at least 30 min to fix my nail. The receptionist worked on it for 3 min then i waited 10 min then some random nail tech came by, worked on it for a couple min, i waited 10 min, finally the receptionist came and put my nail under the solar light then left. They didn’t file my nails after the light, the receptionist just shouted “you’re good”.overall my nails look bad, the service was horrible, and definitely not worth $50+ the time i lost.

The front desk attendant is curt and rude. No customer service. We are the customer. They act like they are doing YOU a favor to serve you. They are always busy but that is because they have a lot of techs but doesn’t guarantee good service. Last pedicure the polish mottled in one day. Something went wrong. I’m going back to my old salon where they are at least courteous and grateful for customer loyalty.

Hieu is my nail technician and does amazing work! His attention to detail is what I love most. Much thanks for your constant care and pride in your work!

I just went for the first time today. Because it was a Thursday afternoon, I was able to just walk in and get started without waiting. I got the Spa Pedicure done by Nick and he was amazing! Very detailed in getting my toenails shaped and cleaned but also very gentle. He also gave me an amazing massage for my legs and feet. My service was $35 and I gave him a $20 tip because my was so relaxed and happy with my entire pedicure experience. I will come back again for sure!

Even though they were running behind I had EXCELLENT service. This salon is clean and very nice. I have been to A LOT of nail salons in SAT and this one ranks the highest. Highly recommend!!!

This salon has had my business consistently for over a year. I’m hard to impress and for them to keep me going back to them they are doing it right. The staff is friendly, they listen to your needs, they also keep track of your visits with your phone number and you get money off of services once you spend so much money.

I have been going to Venetian Nail & Day Spa now for almost a year and really am impressed! My tech, Julie is the best! She takes her time and always makes sure I am always comfortable and well hydrated with either Vietnamese coffee or water with cucumber slices. They also offer wine and margaritas. The place is clean and sterile. You will not be disappointed coming here.

The salon is clean, and the staff are very professional and good at what they do. Ive been here twice. I got a dip powder manicure and a pedicure the first time, and a dip powder manicure on my second visit. Right before my most recent visit, I broke my nail, so the nail technician put a fake tip on it, so it would match the rest of my nails. The service is a little pricey, but I only get my nails done for special occasions, or stuff like job interviews. To me, the quality of work done on my nails is worth the price. I will be returning.

I refuse to go anywhere else. Most calm and relaxing nail salon ive ever been to. I get the milk and honey pedicure and lemmie tell ya. The massiage is amazingggggg. If youre looking for a nice place to relax and get a pedicure this place is for you! Lisa is awesome!

Ive been going to Venetian Nail since, at least, 2016 and its time I left a review. This establishment is clean and very welcoming. Im very picky about my nails. I prefer a certain shape and always come with a different color scheme idea. Im definitely not the standard customer. This salon exceeds my expectations each and every time from reception to the nail technician, the experience is always amazing. Im grateful for the care and details they provide and feel like family.

This place is hands down one of the most professionally owned and managed salons I have ever been to. Their service is spot on and their workmanship is exquisite. I live off of 35 & Thousand Oaks but will drive out of my way to that salon anytime I want my nails and toes done

First of first, I want to point out that this salon is very clean. I’ve been going there for around 2 years and never get a fungal infection. Customer service at the front desk needs to be improved sometimes you feel unwelcome s just depends on who greets you . I never go there without an appointment, Olivia is my go to girl! She never disappointed me and whatever I ask her to do she does it with all her heart. She’s talented, brilliant and polite. I tired to many people before I met her at the same salon and she’s different. I will never go anywhere else. I would have given this place a 5 stars only if the people upfront were more friendly. Also they have a reward system where you accumulate points and once they start adding up you can use them towards your future services. They also remodeled the salon and installed new comfy chairs. Great job! I always leave feeling great. Just ask for Olivia!

Very pleased with my visit here today. The place itself was well designed and organized. I got Basic Pedicure for $30 which was included 8 min massage and it was really relieved and totally worth my money. My technician was very patient and took her time in every details on my nails. She did such a good work ever and i really loved the way my nails came out. Honestly, this place is kinda far from me but it is definitely worth the drive. Highly recommended!!!

First time I went a year ago I loved it. The service was quick and great. I went last month when I was in the area for a day, and I just had a bad experience. The lady removing my shellac didn’t soak the acetone long enough and ended up scraping the polish off my fingers. I could see the white spots where she had pulled my nail bed off with the polish. Then she paints my fingers with a Shellac polish and had already done most of my fingers when she realized it was bubbling. A manager came over and asked me if I was okay with the bubbling. Um, no? They found a similar color and a new nail tech came over. He was efficient and quick which is why I give this place 2 stars and not 1. One month later my nails are still brittle and keep breaking from where they pulled the polish off with my nails. I won’t be going to this place again.

Great service and very relaxing

Wish I could give ZERO stars!!! I was told no to a French tip polish on my toes because my nails were too short...I’ve never been told that in my life before. Then after getting my dip powder done I expressed it was too thick she said it had to be done this thick because of the length....AGAIN never have I been told this before!!! I expressed to her I did not like the thickness and she ignored me and said ok it’s done. I went home and even my husband and 9 year old agreed they looked awful! I returned to the salon and was told to come back later if I wanted them fixed because they were too busy right now. I told her that was inconvenient for me because I even expressed how I didn’t like them when they did them originally last night. I told the lady who seemed to be in charge at the register if they weren’t going to fix them to take them off so I could go get them done elsewhere. She then had the nerve to say “they can take them off when you go get them done at the other place” it was clear they were not trying to live up to the policy of fixing any issues to make sure you’re satisfied. I told her I wasn’t going to make someone else work to remove the bad work this place had done. She said fine, but wait ten minutes because I’m busy right now.

I was a walk-in on Friday around 1130am and the place was jam packed! Luckily I didnt have to wait long for my spa pedicure and I wasnt in a hurry so waiting wouldnt have been an issue. Vincent did my pedicure and he was amazing! He was very thorough and gentle with clipping and cleaning my nails. The massage was amazing and relaxing. Thank you Vincent!!! I also had my eyebrows done and I love them. The first time at a new place is always a little iffy for me but not this time. I cant wait for my next pedicure!

This place has very poor, and rude service. I always get a nude color on my nails and when I told the guy that the color was to dark he said they will lighten as soon as he files them. When they where done I told the manager, willing to pay, that this was not the color I wanted at all. He responded with, well you sat there for an hour waiting for the color to magically change. I asked to get a new set and he said he’s not going to give me a new full set, but he said he could paint on top of them. He told me the policy is if you do not like the nails, don’t pay. And then proceeded to say that I was troubled and not allowed back. Very disappointed on how disrespectful the manager was towards me, would not recommend coming here.

I used to be a regular customer here, but realized the owners are very rude and unwelcoming. They would hardly smile and would tell you a lower wait time to make you stay...only to wait for 20-30 minutes. Many months later I decided to give it another shot. It was okay, but the appearance of the salon was messy. The lamps at each station were disgusting and dirty. Hardly looked like they clean the stations so I was a little turned off. While checking out I found out I had a reward the next time I came.Hoping this salon would be better, I came here again because I had a $20 reward. My technician was great, but the salon was still as messy as last month’s visit. Sadly, they did not inform me the system was broken until PAYING..so apparently I can’t get my reward. Had to pay full price. Annoying because I don’t really want to come back.They weren’t even apologetic. Frankly, pretty rude and did not care that I was upset. Bad customer service.

I’ve been coming here for 3-4 years getting dip with regular top coat, not uv light. Today after my nails were finished she put the topcoat I always get on. As she was doing it told her it looked old because it was super stringy and dried out. She simply laughed and said it was fine. When it dried it dried like some had Matt finish and others were shiny. Very badly. So she took it all off and said I’d have to do the uv. The reason I don’t do uv is because it’s not indicated or actually even supposed to be in dip nails. Salons use it because it’s cheaper. It also peels off my nails after about a week and they look terrible! The manage came over and said I didn’t have a choice is have to get the uv. I told them no and now what am I supposed to to with my half finished nails? I told him I wasn’t going to pay since now I have to go somewhere else’s to get them done. He said fine but that I couldn’t go back. Really? After they don’t have the correct polish. Terrible place and now I have half finished hands. Great.

Holly is amazing! Super super talented! I can bring in any picture and she can recreate the nail design and nail shape to a t. She is very personable with great conversation!

I emailed per web email address to give ANYONE a chance to do right by me? No answer 2 months later. Horrible pedicure with male attendant that stayed on his cell phone through entire visit. He even got up multiple times to use cell phone in private. I was so shocked I said nothing at check out - I also remained silent so my niece’s experience stayed good. I brought her for her birthday. She had a good experience - ME? Still waiting on a call to make it right! And when I pointed out small nick in polish as he shoved my flip flops back on? He tisked OUT LOUD

I find myself underwhelmed each time I visit this salon. In past visits I have experienced feeling rushed and rude customer service from the technician doing my nails and at the desk upon check out. At my most recent visit, during a pedicure, the technician insisted I had ingrown toe nails and insisted and then she ripped off nail and skin in the process- without asking. Both of my toes were bleeding in the salon and now, 12 hours later, my toes are visibly red, puffy, and warm to the touch.While the look of the Venetian is very appealing, I will go somewhere else next time.

Called around 11:45am to make an appt for 12:15pm. They took my name and confirmed my appt. I arrived 10 minutes early and was greeted by my technician and shown a wide arrange of dip colors. Sonny was my technician and he did a fantastic job. I am new to the area and have tried many salons and have been disappointed time after time. Sonny took his time, did my nails perfectly, and made good conversation with my boyfriend and I. Very friendly, excellent work, and for being in the Stone Oak area, the prices are definitely reasonable. The salon is beautiful and very clean and they offer drinks during your service. I am very pleased and will certainly be back. Thanks again Sonny!

This place is very inconsistent and not very good. Ive been here several times and its never a good experience. My family goes bc its close but they mess up frequently, and the owner/manager has terrible customer service. It is always chaos if busy! Not impressed especially with Frank. My color chipped a couple hours after and she told me it was my fault and they rushed through the entire time! Do not come here!!!!! HORRIBLE.

The location of the salon is very convenient! I really love my lemon drop pedicure. We had a nice Aroma and it was very relaxing! I really love how theyre able to shape my nails as well as giving me an exfoliating treatment for my feet.

I would not return or recommend the place just because of the bad experience that is dealing with the woman who receives the money, she is so ungrateful, she forgets she works for the client, ~ I went to do some nails in acrylic, I liked the work a lot and the girl was very cute and love the result. I hope to do something about that worker because I really prefer to find another place to go back and endure their mistreatment

Nail technician was rude and aggressive when cutting my nails and cuticles...so much that I bled. The manager tried her best to diffuse the situation by offering to redo my nails because the polish was on my skin and multiple fingers were bleeding, but the damage was already done.

Have gone to this place several times before with coworkers and it seems the customer service and the quality of my nails have been getting worse. Just got my nails done there a couple of days ago and I have decided to never go back again. The staff was rude to us and always in a rush with our nails. After a long day of work I expect to feel relaxed getting a mani/pedi but instead I felt like I was in chaos, rushed and not respected as a customer.

My experience at Venetian was horrible. The nail techs always change up the prices on me.. make rude comments about my finger nails telling me I look like I am 12 years old..?? I also had a friend go there to get a pedicure and she has a prosthetic leg.. her nail tech looked at her leg laughed and than brought her other friends to look and laugh. I usually do not write reviews but this nail salon is the worst I have EVER been to.

I had been going there for 6 months, I have had 3 different nail technians. My poor rating is based on 2 things: Firstly, I find the salon dirty & I have never seen the technians clean any of the equipment Also my pedicure chair frequently had nails and nail shavings all over the chair. Plus other than removing the plastic bag from the pedicure chair I never saw them clean them between clients. When I talked to the manager about my concerns she didnt appear to care or even do anything about it. Secondly, I would always book an appointment but frequently waited 30 minutes. They never said no to walk ins therefore the ladies were rushed.

The place is beautiful but the service is terrible. The last two times I’ve been there they have been extremely rude. I got my nails done on a Wednesday and by Thursday they were already breaking. I went in the next day to fix them and they told me they couldn’t see me on that day. I understand that they are busy but there were only TWO nails they had to fix from their crappy job and couldn’t even do that. Very disappointed, I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed.

New to the area and when I called they hung up before getting my information. Went to get my gel polish manicure and the girl did not say 2 words to me. Never even knew I was finished. Used her finger to scrape off my polish. What happened to tools? Very unsanitary.
