This is my go-to place. They are pretty much family. Super professional and down to earth. My nails always come out amazing. Usually have May that does my nails, but both Anna (the owner) and Jackie are also super awesome! Jackie is my go-to for pedicures. She really takes her time and does a great job. High quality, good conversation, professional/relaxing atmosphere, and just overall great service! Love this place.

This is honestly the one of the best nail salons in San Antonio! Their whole team is extremely kind and professional and really make you feel at home. They do amazing work and both their dip and their shellac last forever. Also, they have over 800 dip colors to choose from, so be prepared to make some tough decisions!

Really one of the best salons I have ever used. Jackie is incredibly talented when you want complicated designs. May and Zane are top notch as well for acrylic, dip or gel. The owner Ana is always so nice and welcoming.

Great and friendly staff! My girlfriend booked an appointment and immediately we where contacted to confirm our appointment. Upon arrival we where treated like family everyone was friendly and welcoming. Convinced me into getting a manicure for myself 😅. HIGHLY recommend! Definitely will be coming back more often!

I want to start off by saying that this place has EXCELLENT customer service and does a great job on my nails. They gave me a discount, a gift, and great travel advice - BUT my shellac lasted ONE day before it started peeling. They let me come back the next day and get those nails fixed but not even a week out I’ve lost whole nails to peeling. Shellac should last two weeks minimum. So since I paid $100 for this and a shellac pedicure, I can not recommend.

This salon is 5 Star. From the service to the atmosphere it has it all. My wife and I came here to get a pedicure and manicure. Yeah I love having my feet and hands done and massaged (men can be pampered 2). Both of our technicians were professional and high quality service. The service was fantastic and my feet felt so good I want to come back next week. My wife had a design on her toes and she said it was very detailed and she keeps looking at it over and over. Shes happy. Not all nails salons are the same and Ive been to a few that arent good but this nails salon is at the top of the list for us. Well be coming back again soon.

I cannot say enough about this nail salon. I have been a client for a few years, I have NEVER been disappointed, ever! They have gone above and beyond my expectations! The owners are always present, very professional, kind, and always make sure I am happy with my nails! There is no better place to go then to “sparkles”. I have referred several friends, coworkers and my own daughter. All of them are return customers and RAVE about the friendly, yet professional atmosphere!

This has been one of the best nail salons Ive been to in SA and the best on this side of town. They are clean, gentle and most of all very attentive. Ive never felt uncomfortable asking questions or asking for a little detail change. They are hands down amazing!

Jackie is the best. First time visiting the salon. She knew exactly what color I wanted for my nails. She took her time and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend.

The woman doing my pedicure literally rubbed snot off her nose with her hand, and kept on doing my pedicure. My toenails she painted were botched, and coming off not even a few hours later. Terrible quality, and horrible hygiene. Wouldn’t come here again.

Bottom line up front.... By far THE BEST location. We have gone to many nail salons around SATX, and I bring my family here all the time. My daughter and wife absolutely love this place. The staff is personable and just down right wonderful hosts. We can speak for Jackie, May, Zane and Anna. You won’t go wrong. After years of searching we found this place this year and we come here often, every few weeks. I’m skeptical of the nay sayers. This has been our experience. The bottom line, they don’t disappoint.

LOVE this place!! I had Kiki micro-blade my brows and it came out exquisite!! The brows came out looking natural yet precise! The entire staff was friendly and amazing at their craft!! They were busy, but they still accommodated me and didnt rush through any of the processes. I definitely will be back and recommend this place to anyone. Wish I could give them 10 stars

I love this place, I feel more than just a customer. They actually take time to get to know you and suggest whats good for you not just because they were trying to upcharge. I feel very welcome like Ive been there before but its actually my first time. Im so glad I found this place. Not only theyre good at their job but also best nail salon customer service ever!! They were even helping me entertain my 1 year old daughter who is destroying their salon 😂 but they are so kind and understanding.

I absolutely loved this salon. It was my first time and the service was pretty great, they offer drinks and actually smile at you when you walk in. My nails turned out great and it has to be one of the prettiest salons I have been to in a while! Oh, and Monday - Wednesday they have 20% off. I definitely will be returning.

This is the cleanest most friendly nail place I have ever been to! The staff was sparse when we went in but they took my friend and I for walk-in pedicures right away. My foot and calf massage was so good and my nails look great! 🤗

Sparkles have great customer service, extremely friendly, and not to mention spectacular complimentary margaritas. Maia did the best pedicure and shellac manicure that was so relaxing while John did a beautiful haircut and color for my mom, he also fixed my friend’s eyebrows last time and a full set acrylic powder with coffin nails with a lot of diamonds. She loved it and was so happy I introduced her to this place. I will definitely come back and refer more peeps to them. Keep up with the good work guys!!! Thumbs up ❤️

I love this place! The people are kind and inviting. They are clean and know what they are doing. I have tried a lot of places in town and this one is in the top two for sure! I drive over 20mins and pass many nail places to go here for great service and so do a number of my friends. It’s a wonderful experience too perfect for a girls day or a mother daughter day. They have a huge selection of colors, products, and services and will even bring you a drink on the house to relax. I would highly recommend sparkles nail bar and spa to everyone!

So happy I found Sparkles! I used to get my nails done religiously and after moving and several bad experiences decided to stop. I went 3 years without having pretty nails, being disappointed every time I looked at my hands. Recently moved to san Antonio and after getting settled decided I wanted my pretty nails back. Jackie did such a great job, showed her a pic of what I wanted and gave me exactly that. She asked specific questions and made suggestions to make sure I was completely satisfied with my nails. Everyone was very friendly and had great suggestions with other beauty tips and services they offer. Really bad job. I had service by Jax. It felt like a express mani and pedi. The shillac is already falling and it only been 6 hours. The polish on my big toe is all over.

I visited this salon for the first time today and was EXTREMELY pleased with my French pedicure (ask for Lou)! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The facility is immaculately clean and doesnt have a toxic nail salon smell! Plus, major bonus, they offer 20% off Mondays through Wednesdays. I dont know WHAT those negative reviewers are talking about!!!

Been going to sparkles for over a year and recommend them to EVERYONE I come in contact with. Kiki is the absolute sweetest and makes me feel so beautiful afterwards. Does such a great job and my nails last FOREVER. So glad I found them.

The shop is beautiful and the staff is very nice. My experience did not mirror this and I am so disappointed by it. Most visits resulted in my returning to have work reaccomplished. After several months of frequenting this place, I finally stopped going after ending up with a fungus on 2 fingernails and 1 toenail. With being a loyal and regular customer, I expected there to be more of a sympathetic response and course of action to fix this. I was given fungal medication and sent on my way. I gave this place so many chances, because there are good people, with good intentions working here but the skills and techniques and quality of work have got to improve. Please ensure you are cleaning your supplies properly so no one else has to go through this.

Just got my nails done!!! I got the changing colors and it’s perfect! I loved my manicurist. But my friend’s nail person (Jerri) was very confused. She also refused to push back the cuticles on her nails. Overall the experience was very nice!

Sparkles Nails Bar earns 5 stars for exemplary standards in my book! I recieved prompt and friendly service as soon as I walked in. While most places are ready to converse, up-sell and get it done, this technician here was detailed, gentle, and very understanding of my requests without giving me a hard time or giving me annoyed looks. The atmosphere was clean and beautiful! The drinks were delicious! Overall, I truly felt like the service I received here was worth my time and money. I went in for nails but found out they do so much more. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon! This salon is absolutely beautiful with a great selection of nail polishes. Selina always does a great job, and is very friendly. She always takes her time filing your nails to the shape you desire, and never disappoints.

Tried this place for the first time in Friday before I went out of town. Was not pleased whatsoever with the service I received. I got a shellac manicure and the polish has air bubbles in it and is not a sold color(very spotty). Also, 5 days later one nail has already started to peel up. I have never had this happen so early from a shellac manicure. Shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks!!!! The lady just rushed through the service and it is so noticeable. Will not EVER go back!!

Great customer service!

I have tried this salon multiple times and I feel that I have given it a fair chance, but Im done. Each time I visit, it is a new aspect of poor service. When I brought the latest poor nail service problem to the attention of the front desk, they blew me off and told me that their people were so meticulous in their work. When I showed them the poor quality of the french manicure, I was scolded for not saying anything sooner, even though I didnt notice it until I was checking out. No apology, no discount or coupon. My visit on 2/15/17 will be my last.

The salon always does the best work you cant be the 20% off Monday through Wednesday we are also very friendly offered drinks while youre getting your nails done. Affordable price . And it is so cute in there they actually put a lot of effort into making the place look really nice and that is very different than a lot of salons

I came in for the first time, and I was told by the girl that I couldn’t get acrylic nails because she didn’t have time and they closed at 7. I went in at 5:50pm. Idk, but if a customer came in and wanted to do business with the company I’d stay as long as I can to get the service. To top it off I left another nail place to come here cause of the reviews. I would give no stars if there was an option.

LOVED this place, till yesterday. I had visited this Salon a few times, and LOVED it each time. Even through the first management change (or ownership change, which ever it was) the salon kept its cleanliness, friendliness, and quality. I took my mother and daughter in last night for 2 spa pedicures (SPA pedicures. $40 a piece) that normally, at any other place, take 45-60 mins. This took BARELY 20 mins each. We got two very thin coats of polish. We werent offered anything to drink. The nail techs were unfriendly, and rough. My daughter got her nails painted and after getting home, the paint was already peeling off. We will NOT be back.

Don’t come here!!! I got my nails done by Jax in an ombré full set here, the lady rushed me out of her chair and I had to come back the next day because the top coat was peeling off and you could see the where she left the top coat sitting, pulling on my cuticles. I also had to tell them to redo my pedicure paint from the previous day because it just looked so cheap and was already peeling as well, never mind that my feet still felt scaly because they didn’t scrub my feet good enough. The manager fixed both problems but when I came in for a fill a week later she put me with the same girl who messed me up the first time. Everyone else was busy and I needed a same specific color for my fill so I let her do my nails and watched her. I came back AGAIN the next day to complain that my top coat was AGAIN peeling off. The employees informed me that the manger wasn’t in and neither was a nail tech and that they only had that same girl available later today, so I should come back tomorrow. This nail shop has wasted my time and money too many times. I will not be going here again, and I do suggest to anyone that they should not come here to get a full set or a pedicure!!!!

Absolutely love me some Kiki. She is the sweetest little lady and always takes care of me beyond expectation.

Hmmm where do I start.... My friend and I went into the Salon with our little girls. we were greeted by an young lady asking what we wanted. I wanted a pedicure and my daughter wanted polish on her toes. My friend wanted a full set, pedicure and her daughter wanted her toes and nails done. we showed the manager what kind of nails (friend) she wanted. we proceed to go pick out our color. all four of us go sit down to get our toes done. this REALLy sweet boy (well I say boy, because he looked really young, 19/20 maybe?) painted my daughters toes and my friends daughter, toes. so my friend and I are getting our feet done. no one Asked if we wanted something to drink...nothing! they didnt scrub our feet and made my friend bleed (on her big toe) as were finished she tells me Im done and thats it, doesnt take me to the drying station (mind you ive gotten my toes done more then a dozen of times) so I go sit down and wait for my friend to get done, oh and by the way we had to remind them that she wanted a full set, knowing that we mention it when we walked in. I happen to look down at my feet and my big toe is messed up, AGAIN I told the manager and she said go sit back down she will fix it so I go sit back in my same spot and she proceeds to take off the polish and re paint, she had to do this 3 times to get it right. then after that she takes me to drying station, where she should of taken me to begin with! so I sit there and make sure my feet dry. I then get up and see if my friend is done, which she isnt! so I ask the manager that is working on my friends nails, can I have the info for the Owner? she looks at me and says Im the Manager, what happened? so I proceed to tell her how unprofessional experience we have had. she tells me oh I give you 20% off.. I said ok, its not about the money its about the way we have been treated! oh and a couple had came in the same time and they were asked if they would like anything to drink. Moral of my story is that if you want nice genially service, DONT GO HERE! oh and my friends daughter never got her nails painted. I have called everyday since Saturday 6/9/18 asking for the owner and they are never there!

OMG, words can not describe how happy I am to have found this beautiful salon. I was mesmerized by the decor and the warm feeling I felt when I entered and was greeted by Kiki. I was offered complimentary drink choices to choose from margarita, virgin strawberry daiquiri to various choices of wine, sodas, and even room temp water or cold water. Then I was escorted to the polish area which was quite sparklely and fully filled with polishes and amazingly easy to chose from because they were numbered lay-out in a nice booklet, and nice colors at that. They even have matching gel polish with regular polish and dipping powder sets. The music was just perfect from the 80’s and 90’s. To top it all off, my ombré shellac manicure by Kiki was out of this world. I was going to get a neutral color (again) because I don’t like the dark color growth line when my nails grow out. But when she offered this ombré look by showing me first my favorite red with no pressure, if I hated it she would have just wipe off and said she would let me get my “boring” nude, I fell in love at first sight. This look will save me time and money because the shellac is clear towards the growth area so when my nails grow out I won’t see that tedious line with dark colors that I like to wear, I am exited to come here again and again to try out my pedicure, haircut, hilights, and microblading....talk about one stop beauty shop!!! I recommend everyone to try out this place to enjoy the rare customer service that is hard to find these days.
