This month is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month, my tech knew how important this was to me since my husband and I lost our baby boy stillborn in July. She did an amazing job, took her time and they turned out perfect!

I got a dip with add on tips and it’s been five days and my nail already popped off. I usually do acrylic powder but they had very little choice colors. I came here because a coworker recommended me but I’m not as happy as she is.

It was really trust the process but I ended up loving them and it was a short amount of time, definitely coming back

Was charged $70 for a square round full set with colored powder. Never in my 10 years of experience have I been charged so much for a simple set. Mind you, my nails were left with many flaws. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this business.

This was my first time at Norwood’s nails and I was not disappointed! I have been getting my nails done for years and years and Steven did a phenomenal job on my full ombré set! They are perfect! It so rare to find someone who is quick and meticulous and pays attention to detail! I can’t wait to go back.

Ive been coming here for years and always leave satisfied with my experience. They have a very nice staff that does a beautiful job with acrylics, shellac, and pedis.

I came for a pedicure, added a Mani as well. Delightful experience. Nice ambiance, clean shop. Doesnt have that chemicals and nail polish smell that a lot of salons have. Reasonable prices and attentive staff that provided great customer service. Im very indecisive, changed my color a few times and the technician was very patient with me and pushed me towards a decision without being pushy. Would recommend.

Hard to communicate with the nail tech but they all definitely communicate with each other. Took several hours to get an ombre and it still wasnt what I asked for or even the reference picture that the manager showed me. Hard to say if I would return for another ombre. On the positive side, the manager was very nice and tried his best. Lol.

Every experience i have had here has been great! Clean, comfortable location with a polite staff. I usually go on my lunch break and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Will be returning and recommending :)

I love Northwoods Nail Salon! I have been going there for about 3 years now. Very clean & sanitary bowls for pedicures, sterile utensils for manicures & very organized scheduling. Staff is so friendly & courteous. My preferred technician is Stephen, who I try to schedule my appointments with ahead of time if I can. Its rare I can get him on a walk-in basis because evidently others feel the same as I do! Even though I live in New Braunfels now, to me its worth the trip to Northwoods to get my nails done! Theyre the best as far as Im concerned 😉

It was my first time getting my nails done here and I can definitely say that I will be coming back! My nails were done by William and they turn out amazing! He didn’t just do an amazing job with my nails, he also provided an amazing service throughout our time there. As soon as we sat down at his table, he offered us drinks which we kindly decline. My boyfriend was sitting next to me while I was getting my nails done, but he couldn’t stand the smell and the fume and so William grabbed and offered my boyfriend a mask to wear, which was nice of him to do. When we were about to leave, he offered us a drink as well! My overall experience here was amazing! William made us feel welcome and made our stay feel comfortable.

I used to come here but they have gotten way out of control with their prices... especially for the quality! They always rush your nails and they turn out mediocre at best. When getting gel you can see the layers, peels off in 2 days!! Pedicures are ok, have become way over priced. Wouldn’t recommend it, take your $$ else where

The first time I went I fell in love ... great service nails came out great. However, now not so great. I keep saying one more try, one more try. I’m done. I specifically asked the guy not to flatten out my curvy nails, it makes them look manly... he did just that, my nails look wide and flat. The pedicure polish also wasn’t good. Some of my toes nails are only half polished.

I go here every other week for pedis and waxing. Staff is friendly and attentive, Im consistently happy with my feet and brows. They always offer me a drink as I come in and they have comfy massage chairs for the pedis.

Not sure what the name of the lady was who did my nails but she did an awful job. You can clearly see the different layers of nail polish and did not bother painting my entire nails. Take your business and your money elsewhere.

Ive been here 3 times so far for dipping nails and once for pedicure too. My friend goes here and speaks highly of them, so thought Id try. The first time a gentleman did my dipping. He did an ok job and also cut my cuticles too close, which was a bit painful. The next time, Vicky did my nails. She is wonderful, very gentle and always asking if shes hurting me...which she doesnt. My nails look great and last a very LONG time. The place is very clean and feels quite luxurious. Theyve always offered me water and wine. Ill continue to have Vicky do my nails.

I come here when Im in need of much needed pampering especially now being pregnant. But this visit was not like any other. My husband and I both got pedicures and neither of our techs seemed friendly but rather rushed to move on to the next job. My nail polish painting was not neat or pretty and looked like something I couldve done myself. Its unfortunate we had this experience because its the closest spa to us but I dont think we will be returning.

I love going here time and time again and now they have their rewards program which saves me a little bit here and there.Great service and work. Very friendly staff if you do want to talk.

I came here 2 days ago and got a regular manicure with shellac. I had an overall positive experience except my nails have already peeled off so I didnt even get to enjoy them which is unfortunate. I paid money just to have them peel off within 2 days what a waste. I probably wont be coming back here which is disappointing. I would suggest another nail salon so you can get your moneys worth.

They do the nails too thick and when you ask them what you want they get all upset and rude about it. The ombre I got on my nails was not blended very well. My nails literaly looked like ballons!! I would not recommend going here!!!!

Ive been a regular there for a while. I typically make an appointments and am taken care of. I called and made an appointment with Steve this weekend and when I went in for my appt Steve was busy. I was seated by Tao and she started my polish change. I didnt want to make a big deal about it so I just let her take care of me. She handed me my bill and I asked her to explain the charges because it seemed a bit high. Like I said I go there often. She told me there was a $10 charge to trim my nails. I explained that Ive never received this charge. Steve was sitting next to us and I looked over to him. He just shrugged. Tao said He doesnt charge you. But I do. It was embarrassing and awkward. I paid and left. Definitely wont be back since this is how they treat their loyal customers. Very disappointed.

That was by far the worst mani pedi I’ve ever had. The man who did my nails first of all, cut my cuticles off AFTER I politely requested he didn’t. I went with a friend and so I was chatting with her and not watching every single thing he did. The gentleman that did my friend’s mani pedi was very nice and offered her water and apologized for getting her jeans wet. The man who did mine, didn’t even ask if I wanted water which is not the end of the world and I normally don’t particularly mind but the customer service I received was so poor that it stands out.After he finished my pedicure which was fairly standard with the exception of him cutting my cuticles off after I asked him not to, it was time for my shellac. I have never had a shellac manicure done in a salon so I didn’t know all the steps and he wasn’t very explanatory about it even when I asked. He threw the color books onto the counter and just said “pick” and then walked away. I chose my color and then asked him AGAIN to NOT cut my cuticles off (I prefer to leave them on, it’s just a person preference) and he began the manicure. I was still talking to my friend and not watching everything he did, until he cut my cuticles off of my fingers, then proceeded to actually cut me. I didn’t notice until I felt myself start bleeding. He didn’t apologize, he didn’t put alcohol on it to make sure it was clean, he just muttered swear words under his breath.Then after he did the manicure which seems standard with the exception of him not respecting me wanting to leave my cuticles on AND cutting me, my friend and I left. A few days later my manicure was ALREADY lifting. I will say that I work a lot with my hands, but it should last more than a few days! My manicure is completely gone at this point and it’s been about a week. Shellac is supposed to last longer than one week!By far the worst customer service I’ve ever received in a salon here and I will not be returning.

When i first got in I asked for services they thought I do understand them but they were making fun of the fact the what I was asking and once there they were rude to me and my niece as we sat down getting our nails done and then when I got my full set she decided to give me uneven crooked nails and I had to tell her 3 different times to make them even and to make him the same length she was not happy with me after that refused to talk to me was kind of quiet it was a very very unpleasant experience I will never go there again the only reason I went there was because they were the closest to me and maybe that was the reason I couldnt find them in the 1st place when I Google searches nail salons near me.

Every time I go here to get my eye brows done they never EVER do it the correct way. And Im tired of spending 10+ dollars on something so terrible. They never trim it unless I have to actually tell them to.
